  1. Remeber that ex school teacher benson-Pope?
Remember what an arsehole and bully he was.

Well poacher turned game keeper it seems.

Councillor David Benson-Pope likened Vandervis’ conduct to that of an angry rugby player screaming at a referee.
“The worst thing is you continue to be in denial,” Benson-Pope said.
Mayor Aaron Hawkins said Vandervis was a recidivist and his conduct was embarrassing.

Fiery Dunedin city councillor Lee Vandervis says he does not need help with anger management, but his colleagues have emphatically called on him to acknowledge his problem.

Councillor after councillor decried his behaviour when they debated yesterday whether he breached the Dunedin City Council’s code of conduct by shouting at and pointing his finger in the face of deputy mayor Christine Garey after a meeting on July 28.

Oh the woke on the left!

    • Viking, they do not allow debate on the issue that had drawn that Councillors ire?

My problem is not anger management, but council mismanagement and misrepresentation,” Vandervis said in a statement after yesterday’s meeting.

Have the journalists tried to get to the bottom of it, or are part of gagging the issues, and come out it seems to use all the titillation.
      —————————-
In another Council, the deviousness of this council in shoveling a rate increase on to the rural areas, but not the urban area.
The mayor had spoken about it, so the Councillors now take revenge.

The public’s ability to find out what’s happening at the Waitomo District Council is about to become difficult.
The council voted 5-1 in favour of adopting a new code of conduct which gives elected members the option of turning to council staff to manufacture their comments for the media.

      https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/123217965/waitomo-elected-members-asked-to-pause-and-think-before-speaking-to-the-media

these ‘codes of conduct’ are simply cloaks for a mechanism for council majorities to silence colleagues. It is an antithesis of local democracy and should be declared unlawful.”
      https://mailchi.mp/d373271dbc51/mr-waitomo-media-policy-damages-democracy

I think that finally Waitomo had got a good Mayor, may be not all perfect and knowledgeable, that questioned how the Councillors simply ratified things, with out a good debate, like on cutting costs.

This wokeness, of stopping any speaking out on some truths is becoming criminalized.
Not quite yet, but the move to these forms of gagging tools that will re-tuned to be more effective.

  2. Dozens of people on bail or serving sentences of home detention are breaching their conditions with the help of a humble product found in most Kiwi homes, a Corrections investigations found.

Internal departmental documents and sources on both sides of the law have shed light on the extent and effectiveness of the use of tin foil to interfere with ankle bracelet electronics.

The practice is known in the underworld and among prison officials as “foiling”.

    • But he’s a Murry! That’s Waaaaascist! Anyway, I enjoy watching him make a twat out of himself on the odd occasion that he’s let our of witless protection. As Deputy PM it highlights to the world how devoid of talent this shambles is. What amazes me is his complete lack of self awareness. Case in point, that disgusting display in his ‘speech’ on election night. That was hard-to-watch cringe. I would have felt sorry for him if he wasn’t such a bell-end.

  3. Something to think on, and learn, how politicians skew the system, and use the supposed “Inquiry” to mask their corruption.

Deadly Decisions: Victoria’s hotel quarantine catastrophe

    52 mins 56 secs. : • Premiered 2 hours ago

Sky News Australia investigates Victoria’s deadly hotel quarantine catastrophe in this one-hour special which follows Peta Credlin as she probes how flawed decision-making led to the deaths of 800 people.

Deadly Decisions: Victoria’s Hotel Quarantine Catastrophe, delves into Victoria’s decision to go it alone which had disastrous consequences for countless Australians.

Seems like the “inquiry” ignored people who would have like to have given information.
Showing no chain of command, with no direction, no guidance, no accountability, no leadership and negligence.
Then exceptions were made, why? and then who knew what.
Then others, close to the decision making, are not being called.

The Inquiry is just not up to standard, not asking the questions, nor chasing down the issues that arise.
So now the biggest mistake is the cover up, the corruption in that would be called out by a Royal Commission. Other wise many of these mistakes, errors, negligence will continue when other CCP viral actions take place.

Good on you Sky and Peta Credlin
A damm good bite on the cover-up Inquiry that is looking to be not only inept, but corrupt.

Now in NZ, what about our cover ups, that has been achieved for a Covid election.

    8

    0

    • Meanwhile, in NZ. Our corrupt media are ignoring the staggering similarities between Andrews and Ardern’s approach to Covid:
      – daily “worship the leader” sessions in front of a fawning complicit media
      – use of grossly incompetent security guards to manage isolation and quarantine in hotels
      – gross failure of the MIQ approach
      – an unnecessary second wave – giving an excuse for business destroying lockdowns
      – bald-faced lying about every single failure and then obfuscation and blaming everyone else for their lies
      – social media mobbing of any voice that dares ask any questions
      – unified fawning media coverage

It’s almost as if they’re playing to some manual or playbook.

Democracy has been corrupted by the left, the way they corrupt and defile everything. The list of things that the dirty left has broken is endless:
      – public education
      – public health
      – science
      – democracy
      – the media
      – policing
      – human rights
      – freedoms
      – the economy (through inane over-regulation and totalitarian controls)
      – the environment (imagine pushing electric cars, that can only be made through exploitation of child labour and slavery!)

History will not look back kindly on the abuses wrought on our society in the name of self-destructive socialism.

That is why I find it interesting in this globally connected world now, that when one can see an exposure in one country, then it is easy to look at those lessons and like you, list through those points in our own country.

      • “It’s almost as if they’re playing to some manual or playbook”

I think they are. In Australia, look at Queensland and WA –did not stuff up like Andrews but they are acting like dictators over their borders. Listen to these guys/gals and you hear similar language.
I remember reading a piece where Tony Blair was saying his organisation had “people in” most Governments. He probably meant most left wing Governments and I would not be surprised if someone like his organisation is being paid to “control” what is going on.

Someone has Boris in the corner –another month long lock down that they now say (even before it starts) could be extended. The UK “scientists” say there could be another 80,000 deaths in the next few months.
France and Germany back in lock down. Keep the fear up at all costs !! All the bribes to politicians/bureaucrats from the vaccine guys must be costing a fortune.

When will some common sense prevail, if ever ????

    • The mainstream media will not make the Guatemala connection, though that has a direct effect on the American people.

This was written a year ago and shows the template of the judicial control on the Ukraine was also put on Guatemala as Vice President Joe Biden used a USA aid package to get his way.

they placed guerrilla-successor allies on the Constitutional Court, Guatemala’s last word on judicial matters. Controlling Aldana and her Attorney General Office removed the threat of prosecution for socialists in Guatemala, just as Biden’s meddling stopped a Ukrainian investigation into his son. In Guatemala, a number of people languish in jail, way beyond court times and with out trial.
Some die in jail, and then afterward to clear the air, are exonerated.

The indigenous populations of Guatemala have faced the brunt of the communist offensive in Guatemala since the beginning of the civil war.
With the Obama administration’s full knowledge, armed leftist militias, Paz y Paz’s “human rights groups” control rural areas, sabotage or block desperately needed economic development, and engage in terrorism and crime. …..

….. Guatemala is now on the cusp of becoming a communist state thanks to Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and their minions. This has also been in the works for decades in America but has come out of the closet since President Trump’s election. …..

…… If Joe Biden is elected president, this agenda will be turbocharged. Biden’s “Build Back Better” slogan comes directly from the U.N. — which not coincidentally calls for socialist redistribution in Latin America — and the World Economic Forum, …. NOVEMBER 1, 2020

Jimmy’s experience in corporate life was having a small business with a couple of mates in the UK that did “consultancy” work on Climate Change for the big corporates. When the GFC hit all the corporate money disappeared so Jimmy’s business folded. Good on him for having go but I’d hardly call it corporate experience –more SME.

    • Capricorn one , Come on man you’ve entirely overlooked Willie Jackson or Tamati Coffey or even better Kiri Allan that way we could have both a male and female deputy in the one package,
I’d make a wager of $100.00 that Allan will achieve a cabinet placing at a very high level for an MP that’s only been there one term and it will piss a lot of the flotsam and jetsam in that untalented Caucus off horribly.
I’m neither Racist or Homophobic I just detest people that advance their careers because they are queer or because of their skin color, EG,Coffey ,the new darling of the Labour gay set for 3 years and booted out on his ear by his own people, Allan is no better but in that Caucus a Lesbian holds more sway than a gay man, Maori, Lesbian, feminists will be there until their retirement …

    • DPM is Robertson.

More tokenism from Labour. So number two is not number two, number three is actually number two.

But we are so lucky to have Labour in power, Covid Cindy single-handedly saved us from Covid (after she did everything she could to spread it as far and wide in NZ as poss), and now she’s going to save us from .. something.

Hilarious announcement – Nanaia Mahuta has been given Foreign Affairs. I’m nearly shitting myself laughing at that – we are officially going to be considered an international joke country when she starts turning up to international fora representing NZ.

And whoa! Meka Fighteri has been rehabilitated with Customs, Veterans and Associate Agriculture. I guess that the farming community know where they stand in Labour’s priority list now. We’re all going to starve before the three years are out!

But weirdly – Phil Twyford – who most people will of course agree was one of Labour’s most valued and effective ministers – is not a Minister!

Well, more utter fucked-up insanity from Covid Cindy – at least she’s sticking true to form.

So the big question is what is her big surprise going to be this time. At the start of her last term she threw Charter Schools and Oil & Gas on the bonfire of her vanity.

What is going to be the first important institution to be destroyed next. My money is on:
      – all of us having to get an identity number tattooed on our arm in blue ink
      or
      – completely outlawing the ownership of any firearms at all (unless of course you can demonstrate you belong to a gang).

Fuck me – it’s going to be a scary three years in the Socialist Workers Paradise of AyTearRowa

  10. I watched a couple of the Sky News programs last night while waiting for the brilliant Peta Credlin doco. I was amazed at the comments from the political pundits talking about the US election –Biden has it in the bag , he will get a higher popular vote than Clinton etc. etc. These people obviously do not read very widely or prepare well for their appearance.
Early voting figures are not going the way the Democrats wanted –the idea was that they would get commanding leads before election day that the Republicans could not top ( More Republicans are known vote on election day). That is not happening anywhere. Even the US MSM are getting very nervous with some commentators on CNN, for example, saying Trump could win.

BTW. I just read a comment on a blog from a Californian –he said it is not likely Trump will flip the state but he said he has never seen so many people so angry with what’s going on ( apparently closing the beaches over Covid was the last straw!!) and he thinks the 4 million popular vote win by Clinton will be smashed (lower).

Sounds good. Is it too little too late, as after all this great liberalism does not seem to put anything in place.

    All yeaaah right.

So will New Zealand go on with major immigration at the first opportunity? as Macron knows how to handle any problems.
Trudeau as an example for Ardern,

Canada is aiming to add 410,000 new permanent residents in 2021, citing a need for more immigration after COVID-19 interrupted the usual process.
The goal is over 50,000 more than the country was planning on adding in 2020, prior to the start of the COVID-10 pandemic.

    https://www.rebelnews.com/canada_to_increase_immigration_targets_after_covid_disruption

When will New Zealand hear, that we have to pull our weight in this world, and then to out do each other to make points about “punching above our weight”. All part of the “Great reset” that will try to use “emergency powers”

Where is the mandate on that hijabi adhan calling Ardern
Do they care about the poverty, and stress on New Zealand citizens as they will follow the UN Global Migration Pact.

It is not difficult to understand why he dressed up as Jimmy Savile.

For years I have used the term:-
‘All over the show like a mad lady’s shit’
Now I think to describe something beyond any hope of treatment in an asylum would be
        ‘Just like David Farrar’

            • Yes. It all happened there. I think it’s just a normal case of a beta male being utterly pussy whipped.

I find his behaviour a quite disconcerting weather vane on the rest of the so called middle ground. At times I really do wonder whether I am wrong about Trump, Brexit, Labour etc.

But then I look at the utterly unhinged behaviour of the rank and file leftists and I cannot find it in my heart to align with people who are so obviously insane. I just do not understand how after 4 years of terrible lies being told about Trump – all proven false AND the revelations about treasonous dishonesty of Obama and in particular the clearly Chinese-owned Harris/Biden ticket – I do not understand how so many people still do not see the corruption and the lies we are expected to swallow?

In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is terribly lonely.

  15. LOL. the comedy here this afternoon is great, what’s the bet Mahuta has some of the biggest delegations known to man when she finally manages to hoist her arse onto an international flight again post covid, her whanau alone will save Air NZ from failure.
What was it with Willie Jackson ,he was bouncing around during the new Maori Caucus interview like a tweaker from West Auckland on a hot day, many of that Maori Caucus will be adding cultural tattoos before the end of 2021, it’ll look like the AGM of the black power by mid 2022, FFS we’ll probably have to fund a government Maori Caucus official full time tattooist, and I’m serious about that.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/11/nz-election-2020-greens-deal-with-labour-very-cheap-judith-collins.html

“They will simply be an ineffectual lapdog of Labour for the next three years,” former Green MP Sue Bradford said.

“Once they’re inside Government they’re effectively gagged, so they can’t set the agenda on many issues but particularly core issues like climate change,” said Russell Normal, the Greens’ former co-leader.

        • They would have no doubt shot the prick if they knew he was :-
          – a lying journo and fake news promulgator
          -a shirt lifter
          -anti free speech
          -a Democrat hugger
          -far-left /woke/ queer gendered

The Mayor might have given the shooter the key to the City.

The irony is that West Virginia was formed as a break away of Counties to break from Virginia and the Confederacy (South) and join with the North.
          The South was largely Democrat.

  22. UK has announced big lockdown that is at least a month long and may go longer …even to March 2021.

A lot of resistance and annoyance there.
    Effectively, Christmas is cancelled.
    Many businesses will not survive.
    The economic cost is huge.

    news (?) just in:-
Ponce Andrew of Cambridge (or whatever the chappie is called, I dont care for royals) has conveniently announced that he (secretly) had Covid in April but , well, get this, is now telling people about it.
    Convenient timing.

    More of the Psyops.
Subliminally telling people that Covid is bad and that a chappie in his 30s can get it.
Yeah OK, if you say so chappie.
    Odd timing though.

  23. One poor fella who was the first Brit to catch Covid in Nov 2019 (a year ago) faced up to 20 weeks lockdown in China, then went to visit his mother in Australia (QLD); had to quarantine there; then went on to Britain and had more quarantine (couple of weeks)
was at University in Wales where there is a ‘firebreak’ aka more lockdown.

    Prior lockdowns: 16 weeks (Ch) + 2 (AU) +3(UK) = 21 weeks, then more….

Sadly, Connor Reed, 26 looks to have had enough and took his life last week.
Now that is a loss of life to Coronavirus; in a very roundabout way.
It sounds like he was doing well until a year ago.
    RIP.

    • 9 out of the first 20 are Brownies
Of the 24 in the Labour Party, 12 are brownies (Indian, Maori, Pacific)

Is that really the’House of Representatives’ ?

I wont do a gender breakdown as I just can’t distinguish.

I see that Ayesha Verrall (part Indian) is straight to the Cabinet.
She was pretending to be an independent expert on Covid only months ago!
Welcome to corrupt Indians in Cabinet.
      But no Chinese.
That must piss off Gomorrah Russell – she of the ‘small and medium businesses must be useless’ gaff.

      • A bit more research.
Verrall is a lezzie and ‘Ethnic’.

Gomorrah Russell did not stand a chance on those odds.
        >>Straight, white, and in the Labour Party.
Perhaps Russell could invoke ‘Minority Rights’ !!

  25. ……”Religious groups in England have strongly criticised the new lockdown rule banning communal worship. England’s four-week lockdown will see most religious services banned. … The Catholic Church described the ban as a cause of “anguish” and demanded the government gives its reasons for stopping services”……

    https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-54768430

    Let’s see now:

    1) Encouraging the gullible to worship what doesn’t exist is cruel.

    2) Drug dealers claim a monopoly on selling hallucinations.

    3) The availability of inflatable choirboys for Catholic priests & blow up pre-pubescent girls for the Muslim clergy has made religious meetings redundant.

Feel free to add to the list. 🙂

  27. An ongoing mission of border control.

The Ministry of Health has confirmed there is one new community case of Covid-19 in Christchurch, linked to a managed isolation case.

The case, person works at a managed isolation facility in Christchurch where the international mariners are being housed, was reported to the ministry this afternoon.

The person returned a negative test on Thursday 29 October as part of routine testing for staff at the facility but developed symptoms on Saturday and took another test on Sunday which returned a positive result today.

The person is now in isolation at home and has reported to be isolating since they developed symptoms.

More details about the case will be released at the 1pm media briefing tomorrow.

  28. Oh Dear.
Wonder how amazeballs is going to handle this?

Ngai Tahu takes court action over South Island lakes and rivers
Ngai Tahu has lodged legal action in the High Court at Christchurch seeking a declaration that the tribe has rangatiratanga over all rivers and lakes in its area – virtually the entire South Island.

A statement of claim was lodged in the court on Friday and the Crown was served with papers this afternoon, not long after Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced her second-term Cabinet with more Māori ministers than any other.

The aim of the action is to try to speed up the Government’s engagement with Māori over management of freshwater.
