  1. So just how long has the pandemic been in the planning?

Ever wonder why Obama and Hillary felt the need to trigger a typical color revolutions in the hitherto stable and benign middle-east buffer states like Libya.

For as long as I could remember Ghaddafi had been in charge of Libya. The vast oil wealth helped keep him quiet as he did the usual decadant things that Arab leaders always do. And whatever, it was worth it. Sure they’d threaten Israel from time to time, but largely the most important thing about Libya was that it was stable. There were no continuous streams of fighting age male “refugees” streaming across the Med (or more accurately being ferried across the Med by Soros-funded faux humanitarian outfits).

Then all of sudden, straight after the real worst President in US history – Obama – got his ridiculous Nobel Peace Prize, the region was completely destabilised. The lot of ordinary Libyans became horrific as Obama (aided and abetted by the most disgusting piece of shit Hillary Clinton) plunged the region into conflict.

So why did the most corrupt and evil US regime in history, decide to that regime change was necessary in Libya? After all Ghaddafi was a socialist just like Obama?Maybe it was something to do with what Ghaddafi let slip at the UN in 2009!

At his one and only speech at the UN, he dropped a fuck of a lot of truth bombs, none more telling than his comments about how capitalist companies create viruses so they can sell the antidotes! Looking at the orgy of what in effect is state sponsored advertising of Covid vaccinations – it’s kind of hard to fault Ghadafi’s views. And it’s hard not to wonder if after being feted and tolerated by the global NWO elites, whether Ghadafi knew too much and had started to blab too much.

I mean with hindsight, when Ghadafi started off by talking about Obama as an African, it’s hard to pick how they let him get away with saying that! Maybe he had to be murdered because of his temerity in pointing out that the UN was never intended to be permanently in New York and he offered to relocate the UN HQ to Libya (oh fuck me – imagine if Helen Clark had had to go and live in stinky, sweaty Tripoli for her UN junket job – fucking priceless). None of those fucking hypocritical UN fat cats would ever want to go live in a 3rd world shithole like Tripoli.

Anyway, that was 11 years ago. Ghadafi more or less predicted the pandemic and the orgy of profiteering of the vaccine and then all of a sudden he had to be murdered. Makes you wonder.

        • Gee, Sooty that is such an ignorant comment.

Do you immerse yourself in Kiwi bog ‘facts’

You may be referring to Yasser Arafat.
Colonel Gaddafi and Yasser Arafat were never the same person; not even close.

Arafat was a leader of a movement.
          Gaddafi was the leader of a country that he took out of poverty in under 40 years;
running a parallel to what happened to South Korea over a 40 year period.
A far greater achievement than you could ever place with Bolger, Shipley, Clark, Key or Ardern.

The difference was, South Korea was helped by USA.
Libya was hindered at every step by USA.

          Try some facts, Sooty.
Gaddafi was a leader who improved the wellbeing of his own people.
He was a Nationalist first who wanted to improve and not exploit Africa – unlike so many others have done.
He was anti – imperialist and just as he defeated the imperialist puppet in 1969 he was destroyed by imperialists in 2011.

You sound like these ignorant people who listen to perpetual media lies then want to turn middle eastern countries ‘sand into glass’ because you swallowed the bullshit.

    • Thanks DP.
      Good assessment.

I have followed Libya closely since the early 1980s.
My boss in London went there to work.
He had been there pre-1975 as a consultant of Arthur Anderson (AFAIR) then joined the commercial world.
He was extremely bright to the point of close to eccentric.
He told me good stories of Libya. There were positive changes after they got rid of the King.
Colonel Gaddafi personally contacted him and asked him to come back to do a project – early 1980s.
      He accepted.

At the time Libya had a population of about 5 million – similar to NZ today.
These sort of things happen in smaller economies.
      Direct action of the PM/leader.

Libya has seen itself as more Africa than Middle East.
It borders Niger, Chad, and Sudan as well as Algeria and Egypt.
Libya has been demonised for decades.
It was not a ‘good serf’ per the ‘western powers’.
Gaddafi overthrew the evil puppet King Idris .
Kind of like a fairytale, but not so much.
The West had lots of 20th century malevolent puppets such as the Shah of Iran, Marcos, Suharto, Faisal in Iraq.

      Gaddafi kept Libya largely secular.
Religion was important but it was not to be a Moozlem state.
Gaddafi used the oil money to introduce education for male and female.
Over 90% literacy on each of male and female.
      There was universal healthcare.
On both counts in 2005, (health and education) Libya was better than the USA.

      Yankees hated that.
Sand jockeys were meant to be dirty, uneducated critters – so, basically, modelling themselves on Hollywood ‘stars’ !!

The whole Lockerbie thing has seldom been reported fully in media, certainly in USA.
The true source of events was the US military illegally in Iranian waters which then shot down unarmed civilian airliner Iran Flight 655 killing 290 civilian passengers and crew.
      Get the connection?

Just as some people are now awake to a flu scam in 2020, the media was telling lies all along.
      They seldom tell the truth.
      Continuous propaganda is not new.

Gaddafi was employing people from other parts of Africa and treated them better than the likes of Saudi Arabia (USA’s mate ) or Qatar treat guest workers.
He wanted a Pan African currency and to raise Africa out of its listlessness (good luck with that)

At the time of his death Gaddafi was endeavouring to sell oil in ‘other than USD’.
All the world had a convention of buying oil and other commodities in USD.
This propped up the weak, indebted USD by everyone having to purchase USD to buy these commodities.
Supply and demand. The intersection determines price. Create fake demand and……
That was a mortal sin, Colonel.
      Gaddafi had to go. (sic)

Queue fabricated reasons for a bo mbing attack on Libya by NWO.
Libya went from an advanced county (2010) to a country of poor people (2013)…just as it was when the puppet King Idris ruled (up to 1969) in a way that kept the people under the jackboot and resources were exploited for the benefit of others.

Now of course, we can see that what happened to Libya in under 45 years (2 generations) from subsistence living, to advanced economy, back to subsistence living …
….is what is planned for the rest of us.
      History does repeat.

      • Howitis, Thank you for your well crafted posts on Libya. Illuminating. Isn’t it a pity that we cannot learn from reading our newspapers; one must come to a blog such as this to be educated.

    • All true that DP, on the fake virus front. And did you know that Nobel Prize winner Kary Mullis, the inventor of the PCR test said there was no proof that HIV virus causes AIDS… but man has some money been made on this scam by big Pharma! Mullis also said the test should not be used for diagnostic proposes.. but he convently died just before the plandemic.

  2. Normal people. Mike the Pillow guy. Why Trump has to prevail

I found this speech by Trump supporter – Mike Lindell, the My Pillow guy to be incredibly moving.

https://www.facebook.com/watch/live/?v=385073759585149&ref=watch_permalink (I could only find it on a Facebook post, the whole video is 2 hours long, go straight to 1hr 30mins to hear Mike Lindell.)

It’s so refreshing to see a speaker who is genuine. He’s clumsy, he’s nervous when he starts, he babbles about God all the time, but he is GENUINE. He speaks from the heart and he’s real, he’s not air-brushed and heavily curated to hide all his flaws. He’s just a regular guy, one who recovered from crack cocaine addiction and who built up a $300 million company that employs over 2000 Americans.

Sure he’s a multi-millionaire and a god-botherer, but I’ll take genuine ordinary decent folk like Mike Lindell any day over dishonest simpering globalist fuckwits like Covid Cindy any day. I must admit I like the US type of evangelical god-botherer far more than the catholic socialist types we have in NZ, maybe the US ones are more evolved than ours.

If people like Mike Lindell will support Trump, then he’s the man for me too. Of course all the Democrats absolutely hate Lindell and attack him for everything he does – all the more reason why I love him.

Honestly, If Trump doesn’t stop the steal, I think we’re all going to suffer terribly.

    • On the subject of the US especially the misinformation being peddled by the global leftish media here is a cut & paste of the actual situation. Wonder what odds bookies would give on Trump being POTUS on 21/1/2021 by a landslide, could be worth a modest bet?

2020 Presidential Election Update: Where We Are in Terms of the Courts
      ________________________________________
The 2020 Presidential election fiasco will have several key developments this week.
The media continues to act as though Joe Biden has won the election and that any and all lawsuits launched by the Trump administration have been defeated.
      This is false.
There are literally dozens of lawsuits underway in various states regarding the 2020 President election.
The Trump administration has filed three. The rest are from individuals, state legislators, and other entities.
Each individual lawsuit on its own is of relatively low significance. Ultimately the ONLY lawsuit that decides how this election turns out will be the one/ones that are presented before the Supreme Court.
The media is pretending this is not the case. But remember, this is the same media that told us:
      1) President Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election (we know from declassified documents that this was a lie and that the media KNEW it was a lie from 2017 onward).
      2) That activists burning and looting cities in America DO NOT spread COVID-19 but that everyone else is forbidden from attending church or meeting with family and friends because they WILL spread COVID-19.
Put simply, the media has an agenda here. And they’ve proven they will lie to our faces about things.
So, where are things in the U.S. right now?
Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Nevada and Wisconsin are all in play.
Recent legal developments that can change things:
      1) Georgia is now suggesting a forensic audit of votes involving signatures.
      2) Michigan has allowed the Trump campaign to have a forensic audit of voting machines.
      3) Arizona allowed for an audit of 100 votes, of which 3% were found to be fraudulent/ illegitimate. The state has since allowed an audit of a larger pool of votes.
      4) The Supreme Court is open to hearing a case to determine if Pennsylvania violated election law by adopting a mail-in ballot voting system.
The biggest items in terms of potential impact on the election’s outcome are #2 and #4.
Regarding #2, the Dominion voting machines being audited in Michigan were used in 30 states.
If the Trump administration can prove via a forensic audit that these machines were open to manipulation or fraud, then the results of those 30 states can be TOSSED OUT.
That would mean the election results in those 30 states are no longer valid and either a NEW vote is required OR the state legislators will decide who to elect OR the election will move into Congress where the House will vote with 1 vote per state.
ALL of this would mean Trump winning the election.
Regarding #4, the Supreme Court has the final say in the law in the U.S.
If the Supreme Court decides that Pennsylvania’s decision to use mail-in ballots was illegal or illegitimate, then ALL mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania would be thrown out and the states votes would be recounted WITHOUT them (meaning Trump wins).
This would open the door to similar legal decisions in other states that used mail-in ballots. This again, would mean vote recounts in multiple states. And with Joe Biden winning those states by less than 1%, it would mean Trump winning.
This is the state of things in the U.S. today. Those telling you that the election is over are ignorant or lying. If anything, the odds are now favoring a Trump win more than at any point since November 3rd.
With that in mind, I alerted subscribers of my Private Wealth Advisory newsletter to several investments designed to explode higher when Trump is declared the winner in this election.
Already we’re up 36% on one of them. And by the time the smoke clears, I expect this to be AT LEAST a triple digit winner.
If you’re looking for this kind of precise guidance on how to invest in the markets… where the biggest opportunities are… and how to find unique picks with EXPLOSIVE potential, I strongly urge you to take out a trial subscription to my weekly newsletter Private Wealth Advisory.

      • Calling on the collective wisdom and imagination of my fellow YSB Deplorables, do you envisage any upside opportunities when Trump rises again

Actually, that is a damn good idea freethinker. As I value the wisdom of the YSB deplorables? Is anyone else starting to work out how to make money off a Trump win.

        My initial thoughts are:
        – Green investments would suffer (Trump will not relent on his disdain for the Climate Scam)
        – China investments will suffer
        – fossil fuels will prosper
        – defence industries could benefit as China may have no option but to escalate into local conflicts of arms
        – vaccine market could suffer (if the voter fraud trail leads back to the real enemy in the NWO like Cindy’s mates Bill and Melinda as the scam nature of the pandemic could be laid bare)

To me, most of those signals are on the downside. They would be about where to dis-invest from to avoid losses and to realise existing profits.

I’m struggling to see upside consequences that might provide investment opportunity. I guess Kiwis might think of investing in Air NZ on the basis that if the conspiracy is laid bare then tourism could return. In a normal environment one might imagine that at $1.92 Air NZ shares are quite undervalued at the moment.

Other than that, my simple little mind hasn’t come up with any opportunity areas and the supporting rationale.

Have any of the finer minds on YSB divined any potential growth areas if the world returns to sanity? I’d love to hear your thoughts below!

  3. Yeah well wait until you read what the “Royal commission ” of wankers want to do next.
They are recommending we go well into the Muslim Nazi path.
    https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/christchurch-shooting/123626151/royal-commission-recommends-new-security-agency-for-nz-following-march-15-shootings

All those that Luvly Jacinda will find themselves ruled by the Mulahs before long. Nasty bit of work that strays well beyond finding out what went wrong and why.
Want a raft of hate speech laws.

The commission is also understood to have recommended adding hate-motivated offences to the Summary Offences Act and the Crimes Act, including an offense of inciting religious or racial disharmony based on an intent to stir up, maintain or normalise hatred through threatening, abusive or insulting communications.

That little bit might just piss off all those had filled Maori’s that pick on us old white fella’s. As per normal the beauty is in the eye of the beholder so who decides what’s offensive and whats not.?

Promote more diversity which in their language is put more Mossies in charge.
It wants a new public agency to advise the Government and agencies about the challenges affecting ethnic communities. Diversity in public sector leadership should be encouraged.

and like all these e things there are more jobs worth for the entitled and boring from the public service when without even writing report spending forever listening to “victims ” and their attempt to change our country the basic issue was one of allowing the police to push our stupid PM into changing what were basic rules on firearms and the police not following even some simple basic steps that would have nailed this guy before he even arrived in NZ.

Why is it we always finish up blaming others and treating symptoms rather than basic causes?

All designed of course to remove the nasty head shaking marxist from being accountable for her actions on changing the Law.

  4. So here’s what is going to happen when the report on the Mosque outrage comes out today and is digested by the silly people of NZ ,the bastard Labour mongrels led by the PTPM will vigorously attack legal gun owners and blame them for the entire episode and the dumb fuck average kiwi will lift Cindy into an even higher pedestal, she’ll be so high up soon that only World leaders and the Hollywood elite will be able to see her..

    • Oh its worse than that and she will never be mentioned for her role in changing the rules around registration. Nett result she gets away with accessory to the crime and we will get beaten up with all manner of new state employees and laws. Nasty little Nazi.

Still thousands of blissful Kiwi’s still think she is so Marvellous!

When the body will no longer handle the excess booze and drugs you’ve inflicted on it in your lifetime and it comes to the time it always does come to, someone else to blame for your F—Ded up life.

  5. ah, its a bad day for us white old males.
Apparently, we are the cause of all that’s wrong in the women world.

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/life-style/123620285/a-feminists-gift-to-men

Right now, it can’t be ideal being a white bloke in your 40s, 50s or 60s, as you’d certainly be feeling like you’re on the out, in terms of being ‘’in’’. For the first time in history, things are starting to slide from this group’s grip.

Sadly she seems to know bugger all about history if she thinks the white man ruled.
Prevailed for a time perhaps but she should lookback in time a while and learn about Arabs and Inians and Chinese.
you see its not about white men she is raving about about men in general no matter their colour. Men were always the hunter gatherer.

    • History tells us that targeting and vilifying one group by race in the Media does not end well…
I am complaining to HRC and Broadcasting Standards today- Stuff simply should not be getting away with this kind of garbage!

      9

      0

    • Another one of the dozens of things that ACT should be making a lot of noise about – well they should if they want to keep on having 8 MPs after the next election. The most oppressed and discriminated against people in NZ:
      – entrepreneurs and small business owners
      – white people
      – taxpayers
      – old people

Labour spent three years reporting about how they made progress on:
      – more Maori this
      – more females here
      – more younger people here

You can only ONLY do this if you have a bureaucracy that is discriminating against older, white males.

The data is there, all Act have to do is ask for it.

Of course the HRC won’t do anything with it. But watching the revolutionary movement that is rising in the US over voter fraud today, it’s clear once you start gathering hard evidence and data, the truth starts to burn out the evil.

That’s what National did with the ridiculous ‘Closing the Gaps’ discriminatory policy of Helen Clark’s government in 2001 – the interesting question is why did National not do the same this time around?? Oh that’s right – because now they’re the enemy as well!

      9

      0

      • It is okay to oppress and discriminate against a group if the goal is to achieve equally of outcome for another group, when you are the kind of person who sees a world of “groups” rather than individual human beings trying to make their way in life.

    • OK, let’s look at the facts:

The Head of State is a woman.
The Prime Minister is a woman.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs is a pig with a Disney tattoo.
The Head of the Supreme Court is a woman.
The owner of Stuffed is a women.
Women live longer than males on average.

Only a bitch with hormonal problems would pretend to claim oppwession.

      • If women are all in positions of authority, then how can oppression continue?
        Logically,
        a) there is no oppression,
        b) the women are ineffective,
        c) the women support oppression, or
        d) the people complaining of oppression are confusing it with something else.

          • The sad thing is that many white women are not happy with this feninazi shit at all. I was a woman of the 60s and yes we were out there in our thoughts, protests etc however over time this has become a very different battle for these women, its absolutely ridiculous and the young women are not of the ilk of the women we were then. Life as we knew it is over, more is the pity. I keep hoping for a turnaround but don’t see one coming in my lifetime. its all sweetness, positivity and absolutely unrealistic goals of nothingness. If you were to ask what they really wanted they could not tell you.

    • A decade or more ago we were told by MSM and pollys that the world would be be so much better if only more women were in positions of power so lest review the results of women in power.
ardern Helen Klarkula, Margaret Wilson, Angela Merkel, Traitor Theresa May, Christine Lagarde,Hilary Clinton, in my opinion all abject failures in terms of improving outcomes for those they were supposed to represent but successful in the outcomes for those they served(their masters). Not saying women per se are either bad or incapable but promoting them simply because of their sex is a recipe for failure and the current cabinet cesspit will demonstrate this in spades and NZ will pay a hefty price in misery & impoverishment as a result of those who voted for a false smile and pretense of kindness. I feel pity for those of us who will suffer alongside despite not supporting this deliberate race to communism. We should tell our children that they will pay the price for this act of wanton stupidity so the lesson is at least understood.

  6. All San Diego teachers told ‘you are racist’, forced to attend ‘white privilege training

All teachers in the US city of San Diego have been forced to attend a “white privilege” training course where they are all told, “you are racist”.

The San Diego Unified School District also says teachers must commit to becoming “anti-racist” in the classroom.

Instructors in the white privilege sessions tell teachers they will experience “guilt, anger, apathy and closed-mindedness” due to their “white fragility”.

The contents of the heavy white privilege sessions were leaked by journalist Christopher F. Rufo after obtaining the documents.

    • We have to know these things, to understand the money flow, the vested interests, like governments, and then better to combat this nonsense.
Victor Davis Hanson explains this quite simply and very well.

How in the 21st century did race and ethnicity come to define who we are rather than become incidental to our individual personas?
In answering all these questions, we always seem to return to higher education—the font of much of our contemporary malaise. …….

……a massive industry of tapping into the huge global fortunes of Silicon Valley, Wall Street, vertically integrated corporations, and mostly illiberal petro-governments in the Middle East and Chinese-communist approved conglomerates.

Floods of cash created new “centers” and “institutes” on campus.
The vast majority were boutique left-wing.
The disconnected result was often bizarre: students living in upscale campus dorms, enjoying Club Med gyms and recreation centers, and replete with all sorts of influential internships and overseas enrichment—as they cosplayed Marxist activists. …..

…… Wealthy white females, upper-middle class immigrants from Brazil, and the children of Jamaican or Nigerian doctors, all in theory felt the university should provide them some sort of redress for their intersectional, inclusive victimhood.
In the zero-sum game of university curricula, deductive “-studies” courses sprung up to indoctrinate students in “what” to think, rather than inductively how and why.
Therapy replaced tragedy in the study of the past and present. ….

      https://amgreatness.com/2020/11/29/why-our-universities-have-failed/

What a mess, but the deplorables, the tradies, small to medium business’s, a lot of the base workers, with knowledge and understanding can fight, and overturn this nonsense.

We need to know these things to fight back here in NZ in so many areas.
Yes I have become a fan of VDH. 🙂 as he seems to be straight forward in his explanations of what is wrong in the USA.
In part NZ has been following, if not leading some of these “kool-aid” ideas

This is not the first and only shooting tragedy here in New Zealand and I think back to November 1990 when David Gray killed 13 at Aramoana.

    Food for thought.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/money/2020/12/carterton-residents-pay-highest-rates-in-new-zealand-central-otago-lowest.html

The Ratepayer Report ranked councils on a series of metrics including residential rates, staffing costs and council liabilities.

It is the fifth report of its kind by the Taxpayers Union and covers rates in the 2018/19 financial year.

Taxpayers Union campaigns manager Louis Houlbrooke said average residential rates were continuing to rise right throughout New Zealand.

“We found that once again, the average rates in New Zealand have gone up by $84,” he said.

But the most extraordinary thing, according to Houlbrooke, was the variability between what councils charged.

“Heading into the long-term plan for next year, one of the things that we’ve identified is that we’re actually underpaying staff and that’s starting to really show in losing people,” he said.

The vote was 4-4 with one councillor absent. He said don’t worry dontlookatmahooters is working on changing things right now.

The other outstanding but not surprising comment he made was that everything the council did now was about climate change. He emphasised ‘everything’ and said if ‘we’ don’t do anything the future is not going to be good.

Evidently that outstanding ex National MP Craig Foss ,who is now on the council has written an article about climate change for the paper.

  15. So why the firearms confiscation you arseholes? This would have happened even if the confiscation preceded Brenton Tarrant. No amount of additional gun legislation on LFO’s is going to make any difference. Now get out there and do your bloody jobs, you wankers.

The inquiry did, however, find “insufficient attention” was given by New Zealand Police over whether one of the killer’s gaming friends – who knew about his racist and Islamophobic views – was an appropriate referee for his firearms licence – while also concluding that police’s administration of the firearms licensing system “did not meet required standards”.
Police Commissioner Andrew Coster today “unreservedly apologised” for the firearms licence failures.
And Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said while nothing could have stopped the attack, there were still failings at a high level.
“And for that I apologise,” she said today.

  16. Royal Commission of Inquiry into the terrorist attack on Christchurch masjidain on 15 March 2019
    https://christchurchattack.royalcommission.nz/the-report/

Then you can “read” the Report,

Recommendations & there are 44 of them to be placed on us.
All with this God of “social cohesion” in the name of meritless, diverse inclusiveness, triggered by a green eco terrorist. that enjoyed his global travels, meeting many others in their countries.

Understanding the rise of the far right is important for our inquiry as the 15 March 2019 terrorist attack was carried out to advance an extreme right-wing ideology.
So this report is based on ku klux klan points,
As no one here is allowed to even read & figure, what was really in the “manifesto”, unless approved.

Would this stop an similar attack like in Sri Lanka? where 100’s were killed.

    • Some of the changes to be incorporated into our stasi laws.

      Recommendation 39
      We recommend that the Government:
Amend legislation to create hate-motivated offences in:
the Summary Offences Act 1981 that correspond with the existing offences of offensive behaviour or language, assault, wilful damage and intimidation; and the Crimes Act 1961 that correspond with the existing offences of assaults, arson and intentional damage.

      35
Section 131 of the Human Rights Act 1993, which criminalises certain types of hate speech, is not fit for purpose. The section as written unacceptably impinges on the right of freedom of expression.
The words “excite hostility against or bring into contempt” set a low liability threshold.
Accordingly it has invited rewriting by the courts, but in a way that has resulted in considerable uncertainty.
More generally it does not provide a credible foundation for prosecution.

      36
We propose a reframed offence that more accurately targets behaviour warranting criminal prosecution and that encompasses hate speech directed at religious affiliation.

      37
This offence should be included in the Crimes Act, rather than the Human Rights Act, to reflect the seriousness of the offence and increase the resulting penalty.
It should be reframed to focus on stirring up or provoking hatred against a group of persons defined by protected characteristics, which should include religious affiliation.

      38
Sharpening the focus of the section 131 offence would mean that the offence would not discharge New Zealand’s obligations under article 4 of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.
Substantial compliance could be achieved if the definition of “objectionable” in section 3 of the Films, Videos, and Publications Classification Act 1993 was amended to include racial superiority, racial hatred and racial discrimination.

      Recommendation 40
      We recommend that the Government:

Repeal section 131 of the Human Rights Act 1993 and insert a provision in the Crimes Act 1961 for an offence of inciting racial or religious disharmony, based on an intent to stir up, maintain or normalise hatred, through threatening, abusive or insulting communication with protected characteristics that include religious affiliation.

      Recommendation 41
      We recommend that the Government:

Amend the definition of “objectionable” in section 3 of the Films, Videos, and Publications Classification Act 1993 to include racial superiority, racial hatred and racial discrimination.

Just some of the 44 recommendations.

  21. From COLFO:

    Dear Saggy,
The Royal Commission report is now out. You can read the full document here (scroll down to the bottom of the page for download link). The part that covers how the terrorist was able to get a firearms licence and details how we were so badly let down is Part 5.
As you can imagine we are pouring through the report and you’ll likely hear from us in the coming days as we consider the implications of what the Commission has said.
In the meantime, I’ve copied my statement to the media below which is a succinct summary of our reaction from the perspective of law abiding licenced firearms owners.
In short, the failures of Police to follow existing firearm licensing law means further changes to firearms laws are unjustified.
As you’ll see below we’re also calling for an apology to all licenced firearms owners from Police and their Minister.
Thank you for making this work possible.

    Michael Dowling
    Chairman
    Council of Licenced Firearms Owners

    MEDIA RELEASE
RC REPORT SHOWS NO JUSTIFICATION FOR FIREARMS CHANGES
    TUESDAY 08 DECEMBER 2020
The failure of Police to follow the firearm licensing law, unjustly providing one to Australian terrorist Brenton Tarrant, means there are no reasons for changes to firearm laws says the Council of Licenced Firearms Owners (COLFO).
    COLFO Chairman Michael Dowling says:
“This revelation shows that changes to firearm laws immediately following the shooting were unjustified, and further changes are unnecessary.
“The shooting did not arise out of a problem with the New Zealand public, but with Tarrant himself and the government agencies that enabled him to carry out this atrocity. It is not New Zealanders that need to be fixed, but our institutions.”
Dowling says the Royal Commission of Inquiry report shows that Police failed to uphold the law when erroneously providing Tarrant with a firearms licence.
“Police did not follow the law that required them to check criminal records and interview family members before issuing a firearms licence. We see too often with our agencies, the individuals responsible for the decisions walk away with a new role and medal for attendance. We demand someone is held accountable for this grave error.”
Dowling says the response of the Government and Police toward firearm owners was unjustifiable.
“The Prime Minister and Minister of Police has known about the mistake ever since the shooting, but said nothing: encouraging people to blame and demonise our members.
“The Police released a statement on 22 March 2019 claiming they followed correct processes in awarding Tarrant a firearms licence.
“The Police Minister stood in front of media, showing off destroyed firearms and deriding opposition as “gun nuts”, knowing the only reason Tarrant had some was that his own department had not followed the law.
“Instead of fixing the error immediately, the Government and Police acted like it was the fault of licensed firearm owners, confiscating our property, raiding our homes, and changing unrelated ownership rules.”
Dowling says that law-abiding licenced firearm owners deserve an apology from Police and their Minister.
“We demand an apology to New Zealand for making this country a less safe place, and unjustly stirring hostility against law-abiding firearm owners.
“The failure of Police to follow the law underlines the need for a new agency to administer the Arms Act. The New Zealand Police are not the right agency for the job.”

    • Here Here!

“confiscating our property, raiding our homes, and changing unrelated ownership rules.”

      Stasi 101
      Deflect
Blame others for exactly what you are doing = SOP

After the Christchurch Creche affair and the Teina Pora affair the cops would not ever admit they were wrong no matter how much pain is inflicted on ‘their victims’

They do not serve ‘the people’
Coster will continue that nasty tradition.

Perhaps for good measure the Stasi, um , I mean NZ coppies, might pop out and arrest some rescue helicopter pilots for shits and giggles.

Here is a simple fact we must remember.
The death toll on 22 Feb 2011 in the Second big Christchurch Earthquake was 185 people. RIP.
It was spread over a large area.
Had the coppies been able to control this they would have stopped decent NZ citizens from rescuing their fellow citizens in a time of need
The death toll if the NZ Stasi had their way could have been above 300.

Many people of varied gender, creed , colour , and interests charged in and saved their fellow lives that day.
They are heros, sung or unsung.

We can be sure the gutless cops would not say so.
They will however go off and play guitar with actual law breakers.
      This is NZ today.

  22. The Royal Commission’s report on the Christchurch terror attack has just been released. In response, the Government is ceasing on the opportunity: Jacinda Ardern has announced she wants to criminalise so-called “hate speech”.

Make no mistake , this is a big kahuna – the Government want to ram through laws just like we see in Britain – where you can be arrested for ‘offensive’ tweets, speeches, or emails. That’s why I’m emailing to ask you to step up with a donation, so we can mount a fight back.

    “Hate Speech” vs “Hate Crime”

Don’t be comforted that the Government isn’t introducing a new “hate crime” offence per say. “Hate crimes” are when hatred of an enduring characteristic of a person’s identity is a motivating factor in an already criminalised offence. We already consider these kinds of factors as a part of sentencing.

Criminalising “hate speech” (what the Government is now planning) introduces an entirely new offence: the speech alone as the offending act, with no further harm required to be proven.

We say that limiting the freedoms of New Zealanders is a cowardly, short-sighted and pointless response to a terror attack designed to make this country more fearful and closed-minded.

The Government has been planning to legislate hate speech for a while, and the use of a national tragedy to cover this move makes it so much more difficult to motivate public opposition to restrictions on free speech.

The new offence will be based on inciting “racial or religious disharmony” including by intent to “stir up” or maintain “insulting communications”. Depending on the final wording of the section, we say that is a dangerously low threshold.

The UK has seen what happens when vague, far-reaching powers to police speech are implemented:

a blogger is arrested and charged for causing “gross offence” for sharing a video of his dog doing a Nazi salute.
a journalist is investigated by the Metropolitan Police for a comment made by his guest deemed racist.
and 120,000 “non-crime hate incidents” are recorded, which put people’s jobs and livelihoods in jeopardy despite no crime being committed.

This isn’t dystopian fiction. This isn’t 1984. This is the reality of hate speech laws.

We have the opportunity to avoid this nightmare, but only if New Zealanders and our politicians get the message that criminalising speech will not make people safer.

But we can’t do it without your support. Donate now, so we know what we have what it takes to win this fight to protect freedom.

    • Looks like we can still call Arderne a Fucking Cunt. I don’t think Fucking Cunt is covered by ” inciting “racial or religious disharmony” including by intent to “stir up” or maintain “insulting communications”. From what I can see there needs to be a racial or religious aspect here, and Fucking and Cunts are neither.

  25. I took a look at the Royal Commission report. I found this:

“2 The terrorist attack was carried out by Brenton Harrison Tarrant, who has since been
convicted of terrorism, the murder of 51 people and attempted murder of 40 people.
He is now serving a sentence of life imprisonment without parole. We generally refer to
him in our report as “the individual”. His name will not appear again.”

Sounds like Ardern has given the so called independent commissioners strict orders. Don’t mention Voldemort’s name. What a joke.
