As someone mentions further down, if it’s OK to drive over an ICE agent, is it also OK to drive over a protester?

The top name choices for Kiwi babies changed little last year.
Noah held strong for the third year in a row as the top name for boys, shared by 244 other children in New Zealand.
Isla was the most popular girls’ name with 179 name registrations. It has consistently been in the top three since 2016.
Luca was the second most popular for boys, chosen by 236 parents this year, and Charlotte was second for girls, given to 178 babies.
Olivia remained a consistent favourite among parents of baby girls, entering the top 10 again last year, as it has done since 1994.
Jack also scored another year in the top 10, which it has done since 1998.
The top Māori baby names of the past year are released around Matariki.
“With over 58,000 births registered this year and 19,457 unique first names, it’s clear that while parents love individuality, established names like Noah and Isla continue to dominate,”

https://www.sunlive.co.nz/news/376772-nzs-most-popular-baby-names-for-2025-revealed.html

Now we note that Maori names are with held until Matariki.
WTF is this a new emerging trend and and there are no Indian names there.

Misinformation all round.
What it didn’t say and could is what the ethnic breakdown is.

But they also list 2024 and 2023 with the same names.

But it starts with this;
Slain fugitive dad Tom Phillips

and if you think this is about Tom read on.

The award-winning outdoors programme included “firearms and range shooting”.
It remains in action today at Hamilton’s prestigious private St Paul’s Collegiate – the fugitive’s alma mater.

So it’s easy to guess what gang is behind this load of crap.

The poster asks people to report “unusual sounds from inside the house, such as screaming, the sound of metal equipment, continuous banging” and “houses with curtains drawn even during the day.”

…… not a debate about culture, language, or history.

It is a debate about citizenship, equality before the law, and whether New Zealand is drifting – without explicit consent — toward a system in which rights, influence, and legal treatment increasingly depend on ancestry. ……

A few good comments there too.

A few more years, so that by 2040 this will drive even more deeply through into our society beliefs & principles & have complete control over all our communities.

That is what surprized my father, when rostered onto KP duties, with a few others, to help the Cook when he did a stint in the military.
How a large bag of spuds could barely fill a pot; but never mind, there was always another bag to go & find; to “Te tari taake”.
So it still took more time to peel, as another bag had to be done to have a pot of spuds.
After all, the troops were not to be put onto short rations.

The army cook would have figured it, so must have been ordering much more, and down that chain, no one else questioned it.

Then one knows of the black marketeers, like the Spiv, Private Walke in “Dad’s Army” with an opportunist eye, with a deal for you, that would have arranged the food slops to go to a pig farmer, in exchange for …..

Not everyone is tuned in & turned on:

#. “one reason behind the shift to insects as food is “to cause emotional harm: to degrade, debase, downgrade human beings” and that beef is “being demonised,” potentially to “weaken the species.” “

To follow on ^ about the overseas fraud, and the mention of tourism & overseas travels while is all politically approved here in New Zealand.

[New Zealand] MPs do not publish itemised expenses.

The public does not get to see what flights were taken, what hotels were booked, how often, or why.
Everything is bundled up into neat totals and released long after the fact.

That is not transparency. That is deliberate opacity.

If MPs knew that every coffee, flight upgrade, hotel stay and rental car would be published online every three months with their name on it, spending would drop overnight.
Behaviour always changes when sunlight is applied.
https://matuakahurangi.com/p/show-us-the-receipts-some-mps-are

To see how much, some minor unknown MP’s charge in expenses, can charge double their MP’s salary.

Although some of those MP’s will not care-a-less, being such grifters.

To play devil’s advocate Maori electorates are huge & if the members are representing them fairly they’re going to be travelling men, or women or whatever. Take Te Pati Tamihere for example. Waititi’s electorate of Waiariki stretches from Katikati to Te Kaha & down to Taupo.

The slugs I’d like to see salted are the scum list MPs. Bludgers the lot of them; they toil not neither do they spin.

The most incongruous sight was coverage of the racist tattooed cowboy, so scathing of white folks culture, sitting in a swanky Paris cafe scoffing a tiny pink macaroon biscuit.

I can’t work out what a trip to Paris has to do with TPM? Perhaps he was there to apologise to the French for Maori chiefs asking the Poms to sign the TOW before Maori were possibly massacred if the French had bothered to take NZ territory first. //

As quoted in that face book or X seems to be a reworking of the actual law??

To bear in mind the context in 2020 so that the police hold choke of George Floyd was banned which was seemed to be celebrated.
https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/cite/609.06#:~:

So ok there seems to be later upgraded, an addition to Minnesota statues 609.066. which is quoted within that Ed’s clip.
https://nitter.net/TrueBlueBYU1984/status/2010167198334201949
16 secs : Size up to read the Statue no.

It is only interpretation; …. vehicle accelerates, ….. …. officer does not have to wait. …..

So does it fit in this section?
Which seems to be a legal minefield.

(3) that the decision by a peace officer to use deadly force shall be evaluated from the perspective of a reasonable officer in the same situation,
based on the totality of the circumstances known to or perceived by the officer at the time,
rather than with the benefit of hindsight,
and that the totality of the circumstances shall account for occasions when officers may be forced to make quick judgments about using deadly force;
https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/cite/609.066

I do not think I would like to be in that ICE agent’s shoes & relying on a jury in that city.
As Dereck Chauvin found and the same judiciary set-up have already said, there is a case to answer to.

https://edition.cnn.com/2026/01/08/us/video/the-vice-president-is-wrong-prosecutor-who-charged-derek-chauvin-says-ice-officer-who-shot-minneapolis-woman-is-not-immune

The politicians, judicary authorities will systematically work this to provide cover for the $billions in fraud as not being their fault, & to buy time to bury things more deeply.

Funnily enough Minnesota has a Castle Doctrine too,
AI :—- Justifiable Force: The use of deadly force is justifiable when reasonably necessary to prevent an offense that the actor believes exposes them to great bodily harm or death, or to prevent the commission of a felony (such as a burglary or robbery) within the home.

Reasonableness and Proportionality: Even with the Castle Doctrine, the use of force must still be considered reasonable and proportional to the threat faced.
Once a threat has been subdued or removed, the right to use force ends.

I do agree that woman was as mad as a cut snake, and so can one still see the intent and the deadly dangerous move, which the agent was able to move from.
Maybe as the agent had been dragged before by a car?

From the frames of these photos it can be claimed she did target the agent.
It then becomes what the agent perceived, and will depend on a time line of contact & when the shots were fired.
And her intent, like as will be claimed, to pick the kids up from school????

A good article, showing precedents of other cases & how they dove tail in ,

….. the driver’s intentions might have been are irrelevant.
The one thing she clearly did not intend to do was to comply with the lawful orders she was given.
As a result, she opened herself up to the consequences of the reasonable decision by the ICE Officer to eliminate the threat she posed to him as well as others. ….
https://shipwreckedcrew.substack.com/p/minneapolis-is-not-even-a-close-call?r=gfi7k&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&triedRedirect=true

This shows that it is a large outside corner to go around, and doubtlessly a Democrat prosecutor will dance on a pin, whilst wearing ice skates, from so many other angles.

Then just what will the Jury draw be in that Democrat city.?
