  1. I read on the Daily Mail that retired doctors and nurses in the UK cannot be involved in COVID immunisation program unless they can provide evidence of :

    – diversity training
    – human rights training
    – certification in fire safety
    – conflict resolution
    – radicalisation prevention

Of course the true crisis is not COVID but FASCIST GOVERNMENT.

  2. Cindy’s got a few problems mounting up for the NY. There is the rioting by bad Aussie’s at Waikeria and her Corrections minister missing in action and now flooding and damage in the South Island. Time for the mad queen to rise and shine and get back to work.

Roads are underwater and bridges have been swept away in the lower South Island after intense rain overnight caused rivers to burst their banks.

      • I hear it is difficult to keep all those lies straight. Tell one whopper that adds exponentially and before you know it she can’t remember who she told what but then she thinks we are all ‘deplorables’ and all too stupid to know she is full of it. 🤥

      • TJF – And that didn’t work out too well for the Elites in France. Funny that similar conditions currently exist in many parts of the world. There are 4 stages – frustration, anger, hatred then violence, we are currently in the hatred stage. I fear the US & France are in the latter stages of hatred.

    • The solution to every problem – lockdown

When stupid people find something that works for them, they try to apply it to everything.

The least effective, most dishonest PM this country has ever seen “won” a huge election victory using just one issue – Covid!

Within a few months (prob March again – that’s when Covid Cindy usually reaches for a false flag to distract us all from her cockwomble stupidity) we are going to be facing the irrational and illogical oppression that the poms are getting now. It’ll be fucking LOCKDOWN this and MASK UP this all through the winter.

The faux pandemic combined with a propaganda MSM – it’s a dream for fascists the world over.

We in NZ need a Donald and I don’t see any sign of one on the horizon (I guess the difference the US had is that there is a strong core of patriotism running through many Yanks – most Kiwis are ashamed of their families, themselves and the country – we’re fucked)

        • I voted ACT and I think David is pretty straight up. But I don’t see him as another Trump or anywhere near it TBH.

Either NZ doesn’t have a Trump, or that man hasn’t yet started on the journey.

Either way, our once fine country will be in Zimbabwe-land before anything is done to fix the mess and it will probably be too late by then. I’m not holding my breath.

        • When he starts making enquiries about how NZ’s elections are run – really getting into the detail – to establish that the same dodgy systems that were used in the US, are being used here. Then maybe I’ll think he’s up for it

    • I think I could solve the prison rioting problem quite quickly, thus:

A sniper gets a leg shot on one of the ringleaders and then a message is sent “This is a warning. That was deliberately non-fatal. Wrap the wound in old sheets and hope like hell it doesn’t go septic. Be aware that all shots from now on will be head shots. Surrender now and you will be allowed to live.”

  4. Plane is about to take off, and the people are all taken their seats. The captain starts up the plane, and announces to the crew ,”Good afternoon ladies and gentleman, this is your Captain speaking. We will be flying at thirty-nine thousand feet on our flight from Atlanta to London. We are expecting a smooth flight and anticipate an on-time arrival in London.

As the passengers sit there , the Captain forgets to turn off the headset.

Co Pilot : “So John, whats the plans for today?”Captain: “Well, I’m going to go take a massive shit, and go fuck the new flight attendant.”

As the passengers and flight attendants hear this, the flight attendant makes a run for it, straight down the middle to warn the captain. As she’s running, she trips and falls. One of passengers looks down at her and says :”What on earth is the hurry darling? Did you not hear him? He said he has to take a shit first. “

    • …..”Does anyone living on Planet Earth actually believe that these deaths weren’t drug-related??”…..

Those who bitterly opposed the testing of drugs on moralistic grounds should have these deaths on their consciences. Murdering arseholes.

      8

      • Apart from a bit of grass the other go to drugs eg E. cocaine, meth etc in no way should be made legal, especially for events like R&V etc. Im no prude believe me, but testing and allowing extreme mind-altering substances to be available to all and sundry is just lunacy.

        19

        0

        • Agree on meth…..it’s the scourge of NZ society. I’m ambivalent on cocaine but MDMA or ecstasy is dangerous when it’s been cut with meth. This is what on site drug testing would prevent. Personally, I’ve never used any of them & never will but if we are dealing in facts, they’re out there, part of youth based culture & we might as well suck up & deal with it.

Your reaction & the predictable angst experienced by other contributors to this forum both worries & saddens me. The eighteen year olds of today are no different to what we were fifty years ago. They are bulletproof & it will never happen to them but it does. If they survive the dance rave stage of their lives they’ll likely go on to be good productive citizens.

We seem unable to learn from the mistakes we made.

  6. Well done to average US citizens who support Trump and legal elections. The pressure has finally broken the “senate wall”. It is interesting that, similar to the Congress, the new Senators are standing up. Maybe it is a case of the newbies have not had chance to be corrupted by the swamp yet.

    https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/01/update-letter-ted-cruz-6-gop-senators-4-senators-elect-sign-letter-reject-election-call-election-commission-10-day-emergency-audit-takes-place/

I think the audit idea is good, but given many of the ballots have disappeared I’m not sure how it would take place in some areas.

The one thing I cannot understand is Team Trump saying they will present a lot of evidence on Jan 6, but where do they do that. I do not think the procedure allows them to talk directly to the Congress and Senate or have I got that wrong?

  7. I went looking for the list of Auckland City Councilors. The site, in English, has large, prominent Maori captions with English subtitles and text. Why? The site is fully available in Te Reo should somebody be struggling to understand English.

I am so fucking fed up with Te Reo being sprinkled over everything like syntactic sugar. It is making things more and more incomprehensible.

  9. How do we know electoral fraud in NZ is real? Kiwiblog says it isn’t

Farrar is starting the back-pedal now – he’s running a four part series FINALLY looking at the detail of the US electoral fraud evidence (that he previously said didn’t exist).

But the interesting thing is that he peppers his analysis with why NZ is different (he’s really taking that ‘controlled opposition’ responsibility seriously).

When National get rid of him, then I’ll know that they’re ready to govern again. How can you trust a numbers guy that takes this long to accept what was utterly obvious on Nov 3rd?

  10. The truth about covid hysteria will come out – once we can tell the truth about the hateful lies of the holocaust myth.

Yes Jews were targeted and murdered. But so we’re many other groups. Just as – yes covid killed some folks.

A lie wrapped around a grain of truth, for purely political reasons.

    5

    7

    • “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

      — a quote from some guy who knew his profession

But then: “The truth always comes with a point of view. The truth won’t do what I want it to.”
A bucket of water may be a swimming pool to a mouse, but it is a cup of water to an elephant.

      • The holocaust lie doesn’t stand up to the laziest logical analysis.

Far worse was done to the Russians. And even that might pale compared to the “holocaust” visited upon Asia by Japan.

Evil shit happened. The Jews were targeted. But sadly there was nothing unique about their plight.

The holocaust fable diminishes the murder of tens of millions, because they weren’t Jewish.

  19. What you see is what you get, and his ability to shine a light.
A good article, worth reading to reflect on what can be shown up here in NZ too.
    ,
….. Trump recognized these institutions have grown powerful on the largesse of government policy as well as on dollars from the taxpayers they now want to banish from polite society.
    He didn’t give an inch.
Perhaps Trump intuitively understood the stakes ……
    ,
…. Trump waded right into the Woke Wars, defending statues as important to the lessons of America’s history, threatening the government subsidies that have built the billion-dollar tech companies now tyrannizing the free flow of information, taking on the insidious racism of critical race theory in the government, and decrying the intellectual authoritarianism — and, increasingly actual authoritarianism — of the left. …..
    ,
…… unafraid to talk in plain terms about the economic trade-offs we make for a loose immigration policy that prioritizes cheap labor.
Furthermore, his subsequent gains with Hispanic voters in the 2020 election proved a huge part of the GOP consultant class wrong ……
    ,
…… much power un-elected officials have in Washington, and, more dangerously, how much they see their positions not in service to our representative self-government, but as a perch from which to rule.
They were aided by a relentless media campaign that sought to turn insubordination — and even outright illegality — into stardom, cable news contracts, and book deals.
    ,
The swamp, we learned, is not so much an immovable block as it is a multi-headed hydra, working across agencies and industries to strangle the town to its will.
But where it once existed in the shadows, institutional Washington’s response to Trump has exposed itself fully in the full, harsh light of day. …..
    ,
….. What has been demonstrated as possible, exposed as disingenuous, and unmasked as baselessly corrupt can’t easily be unseen. ……

  22. Scott Goulet bringing his perspective of the pressures from the public, the media and on the Congressman & Senators, building up for January 6th electoral college vote, the opposition, the debates. the rallies, and more evidence to come.
    .
The focus now is on how Vice President Pence will act in the joint session of Congress on Jan 6th.
Where lawmakers certify the results of the presidential election.
Rep. Louie Gohmert and other Republicans this week sued Pence, asking a judge to authorize Pence to pick Republican electors over Democratic ones.
    .
According to multiple media reports, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell confirmed on this “unusual” conference call that he would testify at a joint congressional meeting on January 6 that Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is the President-elect,” in the 2020 election.
    .
The U.S. political website “Politico” believes that Republican senators are internally unhappy with Josh Hawley’s behavior because it will force them to take the ultimate test of loyalty on Jan. 6
    – whether they are loyal to President Trump or not.
    .
So, It seems that January 6th could be a big day for everyone.
Many people are already planning to go to Washington DC to stand up for justice.
Will this spontaneous action of the people bring some pressure to the political arena?…

    • When young I yarned away with a number of very old relatives and people.

Every year, from 1930, then 31, then 32, the residual hope, “it will better this year” but, ….. Nahhh.

Then from 1933, 34, 35 the saying became, “it will never come right”, but for NZ, the borrowing started, so 1936, money started to flow, but not from market exports, though I know some decided to take the knock like re pressing the old wool in the shed, and selling it for what they could get.

The borrowings were putting stress on the Labour government, and a visit to London in 1939 meant some more money would be lent.

NZ did not perfectly mirror the UK or USA, but still at different times and to different levels the governments still did very similiar things.

So NZ had run out of money, already borrowed to the hilt, and needed to borrow more money… so off to London in 1939.
That is why, with out question, to be assured of those loans, was when Micky Savage so quickly announced, “where Britain goes, we go” September 1939 that harmonized with the patriotism for war, and being an “emergency” put NZ onto an “emergency economic war footing” but a lot of that was “emergency economics”.
USA had to wait for the end of 1941 to trigger their “emergency triggered with Pearl Harbour into WW2.

To think that a Labour cabinet, with at least 4 conscious objectors were then were ok with putting in a military draft + man-power act in NZ.
Deciding “essential” industries & services, drafting people to things like the “land army” and “man powered” to “essential jobs”, to be an “emergency” on a war footing.

Then there was rationing of food, clothing, fuel, tyres,
Some of that rationing remained for about 5 years after WW2,
This carry over, would seem to be more of not just a war effect, but a carryover from the Depression.

People want to bandy the word “emergency” but do not know that really entails, control & power to the government bureaucracy to run the “team of 5 million”.
Once the absolute power, then corruption that absolutely favoured the elite.

      • Well put S1. We sold the lives of the best & the brightest of our young men to the fucking Poms so they could fight a war waged to protect their economic interests aka the British Empire. We fought their war & left ourselves unprotected when the threat to NZ was from Japan.

It was blood money……pure & simple yet the war propaganda allowed it to happen in the names of the “Old Country” & “Back Home”. Then we were vassals of the UK.

Who will we sell ourselves to this time?

  24. A new Covid-19 insurance scheme is being rolled out by the Ministry for Culture and Heritage to help get 12 New Zealand screen productions over the line.

The screen sector indemnity scheme has been established by the ministry after concerns were raised by the sector about the films being able to get over the line, according to a briefing to new Arts Minister Carmel Sepuloni.

It allows the ministry, on behalf of companies with films scheduled to begin production before April 2021, to submit individual business cases to Treasury in order to seek an indemnity for the films.

This means should a production collapse due to Covid-19, companies could make insurance claims to the ministry directly.

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/entertainment/film/123797662/governmentfunded-covid-insurance-considered-for-12-upcoming-films

Butler said the 12 productions would be considered by Finance Minister Grant Robertson on a “case-by-case basis”.

Some had already been granted the indemnity, while others were yet to be considered.

“Screen productions generally need pandemic insurance to secure private finance. If granted, the indemnity will give financiers the comfort they need to lend to productions,” Butler said.

You are kidding me of course.
Not only do they want subsidies from the taxpayer but now they want insurance as well.

  26. ‘They Don’t Need Us Anymore’: Auto Workers Fear Electric Unrest
    By Chester Dawson

Batteries require fewer people and assembly hours than engines
Transition to plug-in cars poses social, political challenges

The milkman went missing thanks to the rise of refrigerators. Switchboard operators were done in by the dawn of direct dialing. And in the car industry, auto workers are afraid that engine assemblers will give way to battery makers.

    • Not so fast Viking. The electric car revolution is still miles away from being possible mainstream, maybe decades.

“To replace all UK-based vehicles today with electric vehicles (not including the LGV and HGV fleets), assuming they use the most resource-frugal next-generation NMC 811 batteries, would take 207,900 tonnes of cobalt, 264,600 tonnes of lithium carbonate (LCE), at least 7,200 tonnes of neodymium and dysprosium, in addition to 2,362,500 tonnes of copper. This represents, just under two times the total annual world cobalt production, nearly the entire world production of neodymium, three quarters of the world’s lithium production and at least half of the world’s copper production during 2018. Even ensuring the annual supply of electric vehicles only, from 2035 as pledged, will require the UK to annually import the equivalent of the entire annual cobalt needs of European industry…

“There are serious implications for the electrical power generation in the UK needed to recharge these vehicles. Using figures published for current EVs (Nissan Leaf, Renault Zoe), driving 252.5 billion miles uses at least 63 TWh of power. This will demand a 20% increase in UK generated electricity.

“Challenges of using ‘green energy’ to power electric cars: If wind farms are chosen to generate the power for the projected two billion cars at UK average usage, this requires the equivalent of a further years’ worth of total global copper supply and 10 years’ worth of global neodymium and dysprosium production to build the windfarms.

“Solar power is also problematic – it is also resource hungry; all the photovoltaic systems currently on the market are reliant on one or more raw materials classed as “critical” or “near critical” by the EU and/or US Department of Energy (high purity silicon, indium, tellurium, gallium) because of their natural scarcity or their recovery as minor-by-products of other commodities. With a capacity factor of only ~10%, the UK would require ~72GW of photovoltaic input to fuel the EV fleet; over five times the current installed capacity. If CdTe-type photovoltaic power is used, that would consume over thirty years of current annual tellurium supply.

“Both these wind turbine and solar generation options for the added electrical power generation capacity have substantial demands for steel, aluminium, cement and glass.”

Just digest those figures. Not gunna happen. Until the ‘new energy’ is released.
