  1. From the disaster of managing covid, to the supposed forgiving of fines, and it sounds like another stuff up.

So here is the good news for Victorians as Dan Andrews will want your vote.

    https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/breaking-news/coronavirus-victoria-police-to-drop-thousands-of-unpaid-infringements-for-restrictions-breaches/news-story/3e4185a32578aa537885f54aea3966bf

Then the bad news as in part the police try to walk it back.
So of course Dan Andrews stands back, no not my problem.

    https://www.9news.com.au/national/coronavirus-update-fines-dropped-in-victoria-replaced-with-cautions/33faf529-f405-49eb-86cf-afb557d2cd70

So now you learn, do not pay any fines, as only the foolish had paid up.

A field day for lawyers, or will the judiciary feel they need to justify why the receive such high salaries?

    • The continuing exodus of wealthy from NY & Calipornia may be a large impediment as Bin Bidens policies exacerbate the departure of money & talent, Texas will benefit and may overtake Calipornia as the place to do business. Their property zoning laws making it easy to develop will be another help.

      • I am not sure that Texas will benefit.

By the by: Texas was Demoncrat for 100 years until 1960.
Apart from 1928 when they would not vote for the Catholic candidate !!
[Many Protestants (including German Lutherans and Southern Baptists) feared his candidacy, believing that the Pope in Rome would dictate his policies. – they knew their history -the Germans- re the ‘Holy Roman Empire’ !! ]

California was Republican until the 1990s.
There were lots of successful businesses in California (international reach and earnings, ITC and Film making) but Demoncrats have strangled that flair with regulation.
Chances are Texas will go back Demoncrat in time and with it 38 electoral college votes

Voting History by State since 1980
        https://www.270towin.com/states/

Good graphics here of elections in California since 1930s.
        https://www.latimes.com/projects/la-pol-ca-california-voting-history/
Voted Rep. Eisenhower/Nixon/Reagan except the odd 1964 election where LBJ got the huge sympathy vote for Kennedy.
Then since 1992, solid Demoncrat with over 60% Demons since 2008.
You have to wonder about the legitimacy of vote counting for a while now !!

        • Democrats are scientifically proven idiots, they vote for stupidity and higher taxes then flee their state… then still vote the same in their new state.

Infact alot of inmigrant types do the same here, escape a shithole to our lovely country then go about to turn it into a shithole similar to the one they fled.

          • Victor Davis Hansen was talking about that yesterday. He said immigrants are encouraged to complain, they gain points from the left for questioning the system and social dissent. Ilman Oman – one of the “squad” a refugee from Somalia who now condemns the US who took her in but now wants them to change to radical socialism. She’s gone from refugee to senator on the back of complaining.

  3. Good morning YSB bloggers.

Have a good day Arty and other workers. Someone has to pay for Green Party Ricardo Menéndez March long, long (and probably gay) Christmas holiday!

Good morning commie agent Spy Rissole. Say ‘hi’ to scribble-face Foreign Affairs Minister Nanaia Mahuta. Tell her I think she’s all class!

@ Simpleton1: It’s fuckin’ outrageous. May a deadly red back spider infest the underwear of Victoria’s premier Jack Daniels! WHY THE FUCK DO AUSSIES VOTE FOR THIS SCUMBAG???

Speaker of the House, Resident bully, Nasty person, Useless person, Been there forever only eclipsed by Peters and the loser from Nelson Nik the Greensmith.
    It is of course Trev.
There seems to me to be a good reason to limit peoples time in Parliament.

    • Yep, the market is working as markets do, and should. The government will continue to play whack-a-mole round the fringes, causing all manner of unintended consequences, when most of us know that the only “solution” is to build more houses. Note “solution” is subjective; many hope prices will continue to go gangbusters.

        • Mikey – have a look on Barrons and Marketwatch. There have been articles starting to appear about the upcoming US stimulus package and the resulting issue of hyper inflation the Fed Reserve will have to address later this year. Upshot is inflation will occur and interest rates will have to rise. Watch what happens to the $700-800K mortgage holders here when that happens.

          • Buy more rentals Mikey, then you can rent them to the government for the homeless and ferals for above normal pricing, care of the hard working taxpayer..?
When they are gone, a whole refurbishment will be done care of the taxpayer once again.
This is a win win for you Mikey !~

            • With mort int rates as low as they are people who can should borrow the absolute most that they can and lock it in for 5 years at around 2.9%. That is a filthy good rate. Then, work like a bastard/s and pay back as much as you can in that period.
Throw as much money at it as you can. You will come out on top. House prices in NZ aint coming down. Lots of people want to come and live here. Lots of Kiwis o/seas are coming home. Enjoy your growing wealth people. Kea, Im putting your rent up if you dont stop using the carpet as a crapper.

          • SC,
Brief thought for those on fixed incomes and savers.
This redistribution of wealth in NZ has been on the commie agenda, for ever. Now they have the tools.
Inflation is happening no matter what they say, and it has been going on for some time.
Printing and borrowing means too much money chasing too few goods, the cause of inflation.
House prices majorly but also whitewear and other goods.
Try and buy whitewear off the floor in one of the big retailers now and you will likely have to wait weeks or months for delivery.
Wages and salaries will increase but not in real terms
Inflation is Robbos get out of jail card, but it will totally stuff productivity and investment .
And also the elderly and those who actually saved for their retirement.

            • Yes good points Falcon. Productivity is a dirty word in our political circles as this is the gravest economic failing of successive governments and serves to show the ineptness of successive administrations here. Michael Riddell has posted at length on it on his Croaking Cassandra blogsite. Well worth a read if you can contain the feelings of rage it will engender when you realise how pathetically naive and out of touch the NZ government really is when it comes to matters pertaining to the economy.

Still this country voted en masse for this mob so they can suck it up when the faeces hits the fan. No sympathy from this quarter…..

  6. An interesting concern from an Australian Labour Party member, looking outside the square?

    15 July 2020
…. exposing food security risks. …
    …. food-security complacency. ….
…. heavily reliant on others for many of their inputs to production. …

….. Farmers can’t grow food without seeds, fertilisers, pesticides, and veterinary medicines. Yet over recent decades Australia’s reliance on other countries for these on-farm inputs has grown substantially.
China has become our primary provider of crop protection products.

Most alarmingly, Australia is about to lose its only remaining manufacturer of the key active ingredients necessary for the production of our crop protection products.
Our local manufacturers, farmers and consumers will now be even more dependent on product from China.

Nufarm will close its Laverton plant in Victoria in part because it can’t compete with imported product from China.
The high cost of energy is another factor forcing Nufarm’s hand, …..

….. we export almost $50 billion worth of food product each year, we also import around $17 billion worth of processed foods.
The latter is growing at around 5 per cent annually. …..

…. Is our food security any less important to our sovereignty? I think not. Nor is fuel security. …..

Already many delays on essential parts for the running of NZ,
Though strained, I am pleased to say the kiwi ingenuity of adding another twist or 2 of No 8 wire is sort of getting us by.
Something for NZ to reflect on also,

  7. Climate emergency is a bit of a fizzer due to the rain. and cooler temperatures, don’t understand why she would call it so early??? Maybe the ptpm should have waited the summer out to see how things pan out///
I mistakenly did join the new Brash, Hyde website and couldn’t believe the vitriol from Don Brash this morning WTF am I the crazy one to believe the long list of Trump’s achievements of yesterday? It seems to me that the belief that left is best is embraced by so so many. Good luck to all those supporters of the left hope they enjoy life under1984 and the tyrannical weirdo Biden, our very socialist ptpm and all the other woke grifters ruling the world at the moment. Life as they know it will never be the same.

  9. At least he is fronting (just) – our beloved PM is missing in action. There is a real communication vacuum from the 9th floor which is concerning, especially around the vaccines and the second strain. Although I’ll look back fondly at this Ardern free time when the bobby head and concerned frowny face returns to our screens and the TV is again in danger from flying objects.

  10. After that excellent piece posted yesterday citing Dr. Mike Yeadon formerly of Pfizer on the fallacy of lockdowns, vaccines and the ill informed SAGE committee in the UK what do we get here? Suxie fucking Wiles spouting on in stuffed about vaccine roll outs and the mistakes of the TB vaccine. Perhaps she would also like to comment on NZ’s higher than average rate of certain brain tumor types given her credentials as a microbiologist means she is a font of all medical knowledge.

  12. Man has suffered severe headaches since his teenage years. He is now in his 30s still suffering terrible headaches. Doctors have run every test known, tried every medicine but still the headaches continue.
Eventually the man finds himself another doctor who after a thorough examination tells him “Sir, I can cure your headaches but the physical cost to you is extreme, however it is guaranteed to work”
The patient said “Whatever it takes I just need these headaches gone”
Dr says “But sir it is extreme like I said, I entails cutting off your testicles”
“I don’t care Dr just stop these headaches”
So the next day sure enough his gonads are removed. On the patient waking the Dr asks “How do you feel”
Patient says “I feel fantastic, no headache, I feel great”
Man goes home the next day still feeling top of the world, he feels so good he decides to go and buy himself a bespoke suit with the full works. So he goes into a gentleman’s tailors and states he wants the full works.
Tailor says “Well sir I can see your a 38 short on the jacket”
Man’s says “How did you know that as you haven’t measured”
“I’m a tailor sir, it’s my job. Now, trousers 29 waist 31 leg sir”
Man finds it amazing once again the tailor knows his exact size without measuring
This goes on for the shirt, vest, socks, shoes. Then gets to the underwear and the tailor says “underwear sir, medium”
The man says “No. No, no, you have that wrong I’m a small, have been small since I was 13 years old”
Tailor replies “Definitely not sir, you are a medium. If you wear small underwear it will push your balls up right into your spine and pushing the nerves into your brain causing terrible headaches”

  14. Help. Can anyone point me to a photo of an alpine doc hut that had wheelchair access where no wheelchair could go? From memory it had the ramp facing over a cliff. I’m wanting to illustrate to the arseholes at Summerset that code compliance is trumped by work safe compliance. This is a last resort to get them to acknowledge that the glass sliding doors entry doors that flipped my 88 year old Dads walker out of his hands and threw him to the floor and continually tried to crush him as he lay injured on the ground, are unfit for purpose. I’m in the midst of writing an article on these leeches and will go public if I don’t get action after 10 months of bullshit.

    11

    0

    • PAO ,for the best illustration of the wheelchair off the cliff scenario just keep watching the NZ economy ,
Seriously if you are trying to deal with NZ government bureaucrats it might be better to drop it ,you will find they are expert at only one thing ,,,covering each others arses.
Just look at the filth Mallard that ruined a mans life and his health yet is being protected from the 9 th floor of the beehive ,in ANY other developed Country the pervert would have been gone.

      11

      0

    • Sad to hear that PAO, and hope your Dad has made a reasonable recovery.

Years ago managed to get some recompense on what they were looking to be charging my father, when proved to be their negligence, though a different issue, so they dropped all costs.
Not quite legal, but well written letters, on point, and the now & again phone call, about the letters, to try and make sure that the issue did get to meetings, where ‘minutes’ are taken.

Keep at them, wind them up, but also be careful not to wind your self up.
A steady drip on a stone wears them away, so long as the cost to you and family is not over the odds.

      • Stuff 16/1/2021
Daphne Fraser had been given a clean bill of health by her GP, but that all ended later in the day when she decided to pop into her local mall.
The 89-year-old broke her shoulder on November 18 when she was knocked to the floor by a set of automatic sliding doors at The Mall in Upper Hutt. Her ordeal follows two other incidents involving women who suffered injuries from automatic doors.
It comes as Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) figures show $155,063 was paid out for 121 active claims involving automatic door-related injuries in 2020.
Last Thursday, Fraser finished a seven-week stay in hospital, and she says she’ll never be the same again. Fully independent before the accident, Fraser is now housebound, relying on visits from carers twice a day. She has limited mobility, and has partially lost use of her left arm.

        Stuff 6/1/2021
An 81-year-old woman was left lying on the ground with a broken leg after automatic sliding doors at a Hamilton shopping mall failed to stop as she walked through them.
Almost two months on, Wendy McLean, who was in good health before the incident, is still struggling to recover.
“My independence has gone,” she said from her Tokoroa home.
“I know I won’t ever be the same again … I was walking perfectly normal before this happened.”
Well do you think the governments on to it? Jeese I hate quoting Stuff but they’ll get my phone call shortly.

      rant ENDS

I dont watch tv3 (can’t get it on my $4 rabbit ears) and have not watched tv1 in over 20 years.

  16. NW are getting hammered for running out of the knife blocks for their Christmas knife promotion. All knives provided but short of blocks. NW flew in extra blocks and have supplied 50,000 but cannot get any more – supplier is not producing any more. Promotion says “while stocks last”. Whinging twats.

    13

    0

    • Good one WG. I had a few words at my local NW about exactly that – you can’t run a promotion if you can’t cover it, that’s misleading advertising. Plenty of times I’ve added extra items in my trolley to round it up to the next $20 to get an extra knife voucher.

If they’d said at the beginning that there was going to be “Not a fucking chance that we’ll have stocks to cover likely demand” I’d have spent a lot less money with them and probably done a lot more at my local Pak’n’Save.

NW burns through goodwill pretty damn fast what with their faux bullshit on the “single-use” plastic bags that I used to save up and re-used multiple times.

      Whinging twats indeed.

  17. Courtesy of ACT.
I didnt realise Plunket was fined 3 grand for telling the truth about..well, you read it.

“Free Speech is as big as all the other problems combined, because it’s the key to solving them. We must protect it from so-called hate speech laws the Government is threatening this year.

To give them credit, the Government recognizes a real problem. There are too many people saying too many nasty things, too often, to too many people. We should all work on, as the Queen says, “speaking well of each other and respecting different points of view; coming together to seek out the common ground; and never losing sight of the bigger picture.” But, empowering a Government department to go around punishing ‘hate-motivated’ speech is impractical and far too open to abuse.

The risk is we lose not only our freedom, but our problem-solving ability. In a healthy culture, you’re allowed to say unpopular things. Judging by her written speeches, Kate Sheppard may have been New Zealand’s best orator, but her views were radical for her time. One of our greatest achievements as a country occurred, and could only have occured, in a culture of free speech.

Of course, Free Speech is important every year. That’s why the CCP never stops censoring the internet. Thing is, this year it’s our Government threatening to censor free speech.

The Minister of Justice wrote a one-page letter to political party leaders in December. He says the Government will crack down on ‘hate-motivated speech.’ Basically, he wants tougher penalties for more kinds of speech than what’s currently in the Human Rights Act.

If we’re going to fight this, we need to know what free speech is and isn’t. Some people think it’s the right to say whatever you want. Some people think it’s the right to have other people to give their time listening to you, or perhaps tweet on their platform.

But who wants to listen to tedious people who claim the right to bore us witless? The problem with all rights is that they only work if someone else plays along. Making speech a right only works if you can make some poor sucker listen.

Free speech is not a right but a freedom. Freedom is the ability to plan your future without others arbitrarily messing with you. When people are in conflict, the rules should be written down and clear so everyone knows what to expect. They should be able to know what the rules are, and the penalties for breaking them.

That’s the rule of law, and we get it from an early age. Try going to any Intermediate school at lunch time, change the rules half way through, and see what happens.

We already have some restrictions on freedom of speech that are compatible with the rule of law. You can’t incite people to commit crimes, you can’t threaten people with violence, you can’t be a nuisance (like shouting fire when there is none).

If you do those things there’s a good chance you’ll be convicted and punished. The maximum punishments are written in the Crimes Act. On the other hand, you also have clear defences, such as ‘I did not make a threat.’ There are other advantages. When the rules are written down, they apply equally to everyone.

That’s why hate speech laws are incompatible with freedom. There’s no way of consistently applying what’s offensive. Take the case of Sean Plunkett, who was fined $3,000 by the Broadcasting Standards Authority for ‘amplifying negative stereotypes about Māori.’ The finding was described as a “huge shock…” by the complainant!

The case shows the problem with hate speech laws. You don’t know if you’ve broken them until you are convicted. Whether other people think your views are offensive or might unreasonably influence others is so bland there’s no real test.

In these shadows operate political prejudice. If you’re in the majority of opinion you are probably safe from hate speech laws. Your views will be accepted. It is minorities who need the protection of free speech.

Hate speech laws, on the other hand, are mob rule. They amount to the popular using the force of the state to silence the unpopular. They lead to conformity of opinion and blandness in life. They make us less human by suppressing our self-expression. They make our society poorer by suppressing the generation of new ideas and criticism of bad ones.”

  18. Pablo Emilio Escobar Gaviria (1949 – 1993) was a Colombian drug lord and narcoterrorist who was the founder and sole leader of the Medellín Cartel. Dubbed “The King of Cocaine,” Escobar is the wealthiest criminal in history, having amassed an estimated net worth of US$30 billion by the time of his death—equivalent to $59 billion as of 2019—while his drug cartel monopolized the cocaine trade into the United States in the 1980s and early 1990s.

In the early 1970s, he began to work for various drug smugglers, often kidnapping and holding people for ransom.

In 1976, Escobar founded the Medellín Cartel, which distributed powder cocaine, and established the first smuggling routes into the U.S. Escobar’s infiltration into the U.S. created exponential demand for cocaine, and by the 1980s, it was estimated Escobar led monthly shipments of 70 to 80 tons of cocaine into the country from Colombia. As a result, he quickly became one of the richest people in the world, but consistently battled rival cartels domestically and abroad, leading to massacres and the murders of police officers, judges, locals, and prominent politicians, making Colombia the murder capital of the world.

In the 1982 parliamentary election, Escobar was elected as an alternate member of the Chamber of Representatives as part of the Liberal Alternative movement. Through this, he was responsible for community projects, such as the construction of houses and football fields, which gained him popularity among the locals of the towns that he frequented. However, Escobar was vilified by the Colombian and U.S. governments, who routinely stifled his political ambitions and pushed for his arrest, with Escobar widely believed to have orchestrated the DAS Building and Avianca Flight 203 bombings in retaliation.

In 1991, Escobar surrendered to authorities, and was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment on a host of charges, but struck a deal of no extradition with Colombian President Cesar Gaviria, with the ability of being housed in his own, self-built prison, La Catedral. In 1992, Escobar escaped and went into hiding when authorities attempted to move him to a more standard holding facility, leading to a nation-wide manhunt. As a result, the Medellín Cartel crumbled, and in 1993, Escobar was killed in his hometown by Colombian National Police, a day after his 44th birthday.

Escobar’s legacy remains controversial; while many denounce the heinous nature of his crimes, he was seen as a “Robin Hood-like” figure for many in Colombia, as he provided many amenities to the poor, while his killing was mourned and his funeral attended by over 25,000 people. Additionally, his private estate, Hacienda Nápoles, has been transformed into a theme park, and he has been praised and criticized for importing hippopotamuses to Colombia. His life has also served as inspiration for or has been dramatized in film, television, and in music.

WHAT HAS THIS GOT TO DO WITH “YOU STUPID BOY”?

    – Creation of a desperate ‘need’ for the vaccine.
    – Kidnapping and house arrest of entire populations
    – Corruption of police into enforcers
    – Corruption of the media
    – Corruption of politicians
    – Corruption of Directors General of Health
    – Destruction of the health system
    – Death due to medical negligence
    – Bankrupting of individuals and economies
    – Creating suicidal environments

JUST LIKE COLOMBIA, BUT UPON THE WHOLE FUCKIN’ WORLD!!!

    ANYTHING ELSE???

Dr Ashley Bloomfield et al should be tried for crimes against humanity!!!

  19. Re: Don Brash’s hit piece on Trump:

    https://www.bassettbrashandhide.com/post/on-trump-s-record-as-president

I really can’t understand some people’s attitude towards Trump who should know better, Bob Jones & Farrar are others. It isn’t just a dislike but a deep, illogical hatred, so much so they are not only willing to overlook the destruction of democracy just to see the back of him, but will knowingly & actively promote the electoral fraud as legitimate. I’ve tried to come to grips with their viewpoint and can only come to the following possible conclusions:

1/ They have financial motives such as owning stock in green energy & were taking a bath financially as a result of Trump’s rightful rejection of the Paris Accord. Additionally, they could be members of the climate change cult and are behaving like brainwashed cult members, ruthlesly destroying any who criticise the cult.

2/ In the case of Jones, perhaps he is jealous that someone in the same line of business as him has been so much more successful both financially and politically. Some businessmen have big egos.

3/ They actually believe the dribble that comes from a biased press, which is a bit hard to believe, but they might live in a media bubble and suffer from confirmation bias, watching only media that confirms their prejudices and rejecting offhand those that don’t.

4/ They try to avoid being associated with Trump in any way after the Christchurch massacre because the media wrongly classifies him as far right, so as to virtue signal to the world that they abhor what happened (or course everyone abhors what happened). Farrar particularly appears to suffer from this malady & lost his marbles completely after the massacre. Farrar’s reasons why he hates Trump on his blog KiwiShite were very, very weak, barring the rising US national debt but he intentionally forgot to factor in COVID-19, rebuilding Obama’s rundown military, & building a wall (money which will be recovered with the renegotiated NAFTA agreement).

5/ As Trump was the antidote to Obama they, by some twisted logic, don’t want to be labelled as racists because a white president is undoing almost all of what the USA’s first black president had done. Again, virtue signaling.

6/ They have skin in the game in some other way that we are unaware of, i.e. financial kickbacks via US corruption in the deep state.

7/ They just hate the stock standard blowass Yank who spouts that they ‘have the biggest and the best of everything’, i.e. jealousy.

8/ Because Trump doesn’t play the diplomatic game like all other politicians, and winds up the left.

Whatever the reasons, & I don’t know what they are, they aren’t from a point of view of logic. If NZ had a Prime Minster doing the same things as Trump they would be singing his praises from the rooftops. Well maybe not Jones, who is a dedicated lefty Labour Supporter. I have a friend who is a retired businessman & he has a severe case of TDS as well – mind you, he wholeheartedly believes in AGW and hates negotiating with US businessmen. Perhaps some people just make more money from corrupt government and draining the swamp damages their interests.

    • I don’t know why the above like Don Brash, etc are so against Trump. I do know a couple of ordinary kiwis who don’t have any skin the game of whether Trump is the president but are totally against him. They are just plain ignorant refusing to change their set in concrete opinion. They believe anyone who refutes their belief has fallen for Trump conspiracy theories.

      11

      • Watching the bias on TV1 news last night made me want to be sick, and TV3 is worse. Perhaps TDS sufferers are just products of a biased media, hence big tech’s attempt to wipe out the only way around a corrupt media. I really hope Trump implements the executive order as he can class the corrupt media as propaganda outlets for China and shut them down.

        14

        0

      • There has been more than 5 years of uninterrupted propaganda against Donald J Trump since Mid 2015.

these people don’t bother to investigate.

Ripley’s Believe it or Not :- there are actually people out there who believe the media propaganda, whether it is Global warming – when the evidence says otherwise; horror stories about a flu that kills 2 per 1000 that get it and usually the old and informed; so they believe the lies about Trump like …he told people to drink bleach from the bottle.

In the past week I have spoken to 3 groups of people who are highly educated and intelligent (one who has 3 Master degrees) plus One who was a High court judge, but they dont have internet and reply on MSM.
They are misinformed to the point that we have to ring fence some topics.

        9

        0

        • “Ring fencing” Trump is how I’m handling it as well. Not worth banging my head against a brick wall talking to them. One has a child at Waikato finishing her degree in Soc.Sci // “learning to be a critical thinker”.
          I just nod obligingly!

          8

          0

    • Many good points there Magoo.
They may not want to play around of golf with him Trump, and some even played with Obama in Haiwai.

Sure one has to ride with Trump, not perfect, talks up a storm, but then how many things in action has he got wrong? and seems to have got a lot of things right.

Even if he did not entirely get the right answer, it sure was worth having a good look at things with fresh eyes, and that perspective, like the “peace deals” with Israel. Then the “thought provocation” for North Korea, but importantly holding on to the truths that the USA patriots, always knew was there.
Trump’s policies, were more a recognition of what policies the ordinary people, whether black, or crackers, or red-necks, always had!
In other words cutting through crap of the “ones who know best” like with “precautionary principles” etc…

Also to note just how many of the institutions like the FBI, CIA, etc.. seemed to have become subverted, politically.
Then the agenda that academia follows, that seems to be revealing itself in so many ways.
To become a repeater, a journalist, talking head takes so many year of approved indoctrination, at an approved communication system, until it has been got “down pat”, so with out any thinking, just looking for those taught academic guide lines.

A man who refused or cared about, how the media defined him.
Right or wrong, he knows what he is, and what he wants to stand for!

      14

      0

        • You are not alone wondering why the anti Trump feeling is so strong in these people Magoo and you make some great points.
I would add one more —these people are in the political elite group whether they like to admit it or not and they are, by extension, globalists.
Trump dared to do things differently, stared down the swamp and questioned their motives. He upset their cosy existence –getting a reasonable salary, having a sense of power but actually doing very little. He popped their bubble. Similarly with the media.
Now the election has totally exposed how incredibly corrupt the USA is, in the political arena.
The fact that Farrar, Jones and Brash have not seen the latter says more about them than anything else.

          10

          0

      • The FBI and CIA have each been dirty for over 4 decades.

Neither had a handle on events leading up to 9/11 – whosoever really enacted the co-ordinated event.

The FBI had very poor optics in the 1990s.
They missed the first WTC truck bomb(1993) , Ruby Ridge, Waco Texas.
What ironically helped them was the Oklahoma city bombing that was ‘against’ the Govt and FBI but gained sympathy.
From my travels to the US in the late 1990s and early 2000s there was considerable disdain for the FBI which was swept aside after 9/11.
Despite their incompetence the FBI gained after 9/11 as speaking against govt agencies became ‘unpatriotic’

The CIA has been a dirty corrupt illegal organisation all along since formation post WW2.
They have been involved in many coups and assassinations of elected leaders.
William Casey was one sick bastard.
They were drug running in the 1960s. See 1989 Film ‘Air America’ Mel Gibson, RDJ.
They facilitated drugs into the USA and targeted inner city ghettos.
CIA is the worlds biggest illegal drugs and illegal guns runners.
(See Lord of War, Film, Written by NZer Andrew Niccol)
They were in the Iran /Contra activity.
If there is one good thing the dirty CIA has ever done I would love to hear about it .

      • You mean Banksy the wannabe abortionist? The good old Banksy who twenty years after he failed to abort his son had to be railroaded through the High Court to get him to acknowledge the same? The Godbothering two faced arsehole who expounded his views against abortion ad nausem during his regular Sunday morning talk show on Radio Pacific in 1996?

That Banksy? I never would have thought.

        8

        0

        • Banksy the guy who when he was 14/15 went around and collected the empties for cash of the sly grog houses. This was in the days of 6 o’clock closing.
He knew where they were because his criminal father knew where they were. $$$$
One house was where the Bassett road machine gun killing was.

His mother was an illegal abortionist.

But he did not come up the river on a cabbage boat, No Sir.
He did forget a helicopter flight to the Dot com mansion, but y’know, he had so many helicopter rides.

Banks and Brash were associated with Huljich Funds when it added cash into the Kiwisaver funds account to make the performance look better. 2010.
…”Banks, who said he did not know about the “top-ups” at the time, despite being an executive director, said the company would “vigorously” defend itself. ”
Those boys got away with it and Peter Huljich took the fall.
          Honest John and Honest Don….

Banksy thinks the world was literally created in 6 days then god had a day off. That was 6000 years ago. There was no ice age 11,000 years ago, no dinosaurs, the Earth is 6000 years old not 4.5 billion years old . There was no continental drift and volcanoes and things are god’s recent creation.

Banksy is anti crime but as Mayor of Auckland insisted on parking his Italian car on Queen Street and ordering council staff to ‘disappear’ the tickets. One rule for thee.
Cellphone use on the plane while police minister.

John Archibald Banks is one weird case study of ‘strange dude syndrome’

  20. Sean Plunket is back on Magic Radio. Discussing a Chinese working illegally in NZ for Chinese builder and being paid under the table so not paying tax. The business had been warned for employing illegal workers. Illegal worker gets killed at work by falling and hitting his head so our ACC system pays out $$$ to his wife living back in China.

ACC says “the offence is at the less serious end of the scale” and “was paid out in the shadow of the pandemic”. What?!!

  21. What the Tarot cards have told me

Military Council chaired by Mike Pompeo will take over running of the USA on 20 Jan – due to the ‘virtual’ war with CCP and their attempted occupation of the USA (in the guise of MSM, big tech, DNC bad actors).

The military council will have one job: to urgently run military oversight paper ballot only elections for the Presidency, Senate and Congress.

Proof of their status us Chinese assets will mean all DNC leadership will be rounded up and locked up in the newly designated Capitol Building prison block.

Trump will consider the exposure of the Deep State and the Swamp to be his ‘mission accomplished’ and he will retire to private life. Pompeo (after receiving Trump’s blessing) will run for Pres and win in a 48 state landslide. The new Republicans will hold massive majorities in the Senate and the House.

The truth about Bush (9/11), Obama (Obamagate, Benghazi and creating the ME migrant crisis on demand) will see previous Presidents charged with treason.

Obama’s HQ just a mile down the road from the WH on Pennsylvania Ave must already feel like he’s in Gitmo.

There will be a series of disastrous and tragic calamities domestically impacting on the CCP (Three Gorges will collapse, there will be uprisings around the provinces, famines will end with the CCP losing complete control as civil war erupts – with heavy support from the USA for the rebels)

The Tarot tells me it’s going to be BIBLICAL!!!

Or maybe a dementia patient will take office in the White House and lead the USA into a golden new age of prosperity.

    • The CIA got so used to destabilising governments around the globe – they forgot that they’re not supposed to do the same at home.

FBI and CIA need to be burned to the ground and rebuilt from scratch. They’re irredeemable.

  23. Got yarning to a young chap living in a caravan at a mates place and was just perpetual sob stories and poor me type stuff “cant afford rent too expensive” ” cant afford to go anywhere aint got money” bugger bro thats no good what you been up to then why not go to work old xxx down the roads looking for a hand on the farm….. “nah fuck that i got 5grams of molly and an oz weed yesterday im just gunna chill a few days”.

That my friends is the same story many of our dole bludging citizens can tell 🙁 at least hes too proud to accept the dole for now but he was muttering he may bite the bullet and go to winz.

    9

    1

    • Well I am fully over the sob stories about needing a house and rents are too high. I am not OK paying tax into a system that is placing people in motels as is happening at present. I’ll accept once I pay my legal dues as tax the government has it to do what it wishes but at present I do not believe they have a mandate for the scale of payout for “housing”. The issue is well overcooked and some serious pull back is required.

Housing is a personal matter to resolve. It is not a matter for the scale of government involvement we currently have. We have struggled all our working lives to maintain our home. It has never been easy and my view is the political shift to kindness is not suitable at all for developing the resilience this country is increasingly going to need. The young bloke in the caravan with his dope is an example of a drain not an asset to the community. The message to him needs to be short sharp and to the point. Sort out your stuff fast, develop personal responsibility – the taxpayers are not going to continue to support your current lifestyle.

And if the rubbish drugs you are have paid for and are consuming get you a bad reaction, free health care is not longer available.

  26. The Lie Minister, the LEFT, dishonourable Jacin-DUH Ardern
has been very quiet. Too quiet for my liking. She failed to front
up to the prison riot, she has allowed her sock puppet Chippy
to be a ‘tough guy’ regarding the Covid scam and the ‘rollout’
of a nationwide vaccine. She has something planned and it
    is going to be nasty.
Now, I did say a few days back that I wasn’t going to focus on
what she and her moronic govt. were or were not going to do.

I want to enjoy the wonderful blessings I have. BUT; I am very concerned
for my fellow honest, hard working, tax-paying, family raising Kiwi’s.
Ardern is bad news, and I hope with her next insane lockdown-which
is going to happen- that we will come out of it OK.
I think we have been lulled into a false sense of security. that everything is
all right now. The storm is coming, a bitch of a hurricane named Cindy.

  27. From General Flynn

When the legislators, courts and/or Congress fail to do their duty under the 12th Amendment, you must be ready Mr. President to immediately declare a limited form of Martial Law, and temporarily suspend the Constitution and civilian control of these federal elections, for the sole purpose of having the military oversee a national re-vote. A vote that assures a fair election in every jurisdiction and reflects the true will of the people. Federal candidates only. Paper ballots. No computers. Hand-counted with both parties watching every vote. Only registered voters. Photo ID to prove residence. Conducted safely with everyone wearing masks and six feet apart, just like we did in Ohio. Only then can the winning candidate be accepted as legitimate by a true majority of We the People who must give our consent to be justly governed! Unfortunately we are at a point where we can only trust our military to do this because our corrupt political class and courts have proven their inability to act fairly and within the law.

You must also act, like Lincoln did, to silence the destructive media’s one-sided propaganda designed and proven to influence the election outcome, and end the unlawful censorship of Big Tech, to restore the confidence of the American People in our electoral process or we cannot continue as a nation. Failure to do so could result in massive violence and destruction on a level not seen since the Civil War. Limited Martial Law is clearly a better option than Civil War!

    It’s not over just yet.
