  1. Yes Mike but this is the result of the people voting for a Leader that is kind and caring with no understanding of how to fix this Country’s urgent policies.
Those waiting for public housing has risen to 22,409 and this is a jump of one thousand since the end of september last year as both rents and house prices are surging in a red hot property market.
The waitlist has surged and exploded by about 8,000in the last year and more than quadrupled since the Labour-led Government was elected in 2017.
    https://i.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/300209428/public-housing-waitlist-grows-by-1000-in-two-months-to-new-record-high-as-high-rents-hit-the-poor
The Prime Minister is all about votes and won’t go near anything that could put her Government under pressure as it is easier to pay subsidies to the poor to help shut down decent .

  2. Morning deplorable rabble. Another day, another dollar.
Actually, might only be 50 cents. Someone has to pay
for Cindy’s makeup for her women’s magazine photos.
Have a great day and remember, don’t rock the boat.
    Sink the fucking thing.

  3. Supply and demand. Like I said yesterday, people want to come and live here. They want to get away from Covid. NZ is considered clean and safe. On top of that, returning Kiwis with lots of cash, so many that MIQ is fully booked until April. Add in quantitive easing, low interest rates and FOMO..Kapow!! House prices aint dropping.

  4. Police have quietly shelved their annual cannabis eradication operation in a major change that has blind sided frontline staff and the police minister.

For more than 20 years, officers have taken to the skies with the New Zealand Defence Force as part of a national operation to find back country cannabis plots.

However, Stuff can reveal top brass at Police National Headquarters, which provides more than $700,000 a year to fund hundreds of hours of flight time for helicopters and planes used in the operation, have decided to scrap it.

One of the reasons the operation has been grounded is a lack of appetite from the leaders of the 12 police districts.

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/crime/123986572/police-slash-annual-cannabis-operation-blind-siding-frontline-staff-and-officials

Good that will bring the price down and maybe people will stop using meths.
That will mean less burgs, thefts, and crime.
Save the taxpayer a lot of money and the $700k can be spent on retreiving gang firearms instead.

What’s not to like but wait the whingers and anti’s will be along to tell us the police should uphold the law.

  5. The cops can distract violent “clients” by playing their guitars. //

    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/t-neatuas-new-police-station-have-no-cells-barriers

It will be a police station like no other; there will no holding cells, no barriers in front of the counter, instead, there will be space for community hui and a cup of tea with police staff.

“The building has been designed to create an operational area that can be secured but also has space to accommodate community hui or gatherings that have nothing to do with police work.”

  6. Is Biden going to be assassinated so Kamala/Nancy are put in control from day 1?

So the thing about the fascistic left is that they’re not very smart and they’re not very imaginative. Plus they are so arrogant that they can’t help gloating about things before they happen so they can show each other how utterly moronic, gullible and stupid the general public are.

Before they pull despicable shit they leave breadcrumbs that the saner, more concerned members of society can pick up on.

Remember when Podesta was in NZ and he casually tossed out there how NZ was a “big juicy target” for an attack ……… and just days later the mosque shooting happened. Breadcrumbs were left. The nationwide brainwashed kids “Climate School Strike” was planned for the same day – what better cover could be made than using everyone’s kids as human shields to make sure that every helicopter mum’s irrational ‘mother hen’ anxiety level was was maxed to the full – got to have a huge distraction to divert attention away!

Remember how over and over and over again lunatic leftist idiots like Nancy Pelosi proclaimed that there was an absolute certainty that Trump was not going to win the 2020 election. Breadcrumbs. Against the backdrop of the distraction of months long BLM city burning protests – to divert attention away.

And now we hear that Creepy Joe’s daughter is ‘afraid for Joe Biden’s safety’ and the DNC’s Stasi FBI are vetting the National Guard soldiers in Washington (presumably to make sure there are no “white supremacists” among them who might assassinate Biden) – these things are being reported to make sure the Breadcrumbs are in place. And any unfortunate outcome for Biden ………. will be being played out against the background of a star-studded gathering of the Hollywood and DNC pedophocracy just to make sure there is a distraction – to divert attention away.

It was obvious that from the start the CCP/Swamp cabal wanted the utterly unprincipled and devastatingly corrupted Kamala Harris installed (from when she first appeared as the most deeply unlikeable DNC Pres candidate). A “female woman of color” ticks so many of the lunatic leftists’ bucket list of “firsts” that they love to onanise about.

I know that this is an insane-sounding, unhinged scenario. But we are living in the most utterly insane times of all ages. When you see the same pattern of events being repeated over and over – it’s hard not to expect similar results to be repeated over and over too.

  7. You just couldn’t make this shit up. But apparently we pay people to do just that. FS a sizeable chunk of NZ parents don’t even send their kids with lunch. And they want us to cook capsicum until it’s “easily squashed between your thumb and forefinger”, and then cut it into strips. The country’s gone mad.

“The rules from the Ministry of Education (MoE) take effect on January 25 and ban early childhood education centres from feeding kids risky foods such as whole nuts, chips, dried fruits and sausages.

The MoE also provides instructions on how some non-banned foods should be prepared such as grating raw carrot and apple for children under three or removing strong fibres from “stringy foods” such as pineapple for children up to age 6.

In the past, Rachel has packed her son’s lunchbox with dried fruit such as sultanas as well as seeds, stonefruit, cucumber and capsicum. Under the new rules, dried fruit and seeds will be banned. Sausages, cheerios and popcorn are also on the banned list.

Stone fruit must have the seeds and skin removed. How to prepare cucumber and capsicum isn’t specifically mentioned in the rules, but could potentially be cooked until “easily squashed between your thumb and forefinger” and cut into strips.”

New choking rules make ‘battle of the lunch box’ even harder for parents

    • More rules. No, the answer is less rules and regulation.

The nation is being cosseted and confined to a point where resilience and getting on with your responsibilities as an individual are potentially getting lost.

Local and central government needs to be pulled back from the authoritarian busy body mode we are seemingly increasingly heading towards.

      12

      0

    • I read your link description and I immediately thought it was the rules themselves which were choking. But no, it’s about choking!

We are literally being choked to death by these fascist cunts who come up with this shit. Who the hell do these people think they are?

The fuckers are telling us what we’re allowed to feed our children now FFS! When are the good citizens going to stand up and throw off the yoke?

    • All food will be pureed and smoothies, whizz blenders provided, so the staff can put all food through this. It will be for the good health of the children.

This formula for breakfast and hot lunches in schools pureeing will continue as “precautionary” systems for the good health, safety, and well being of the children.

An investment of funds will go into dentistry, for the removal of all teeth on children.
Nor will dentures be needed under this lifetime system
That will be a major savings in later years. 🙂 🙂

The returns on that investment will continue for many years, as much cheaper costs in running “rest homes” and the staff do not have to worry about cleaning, tracking dentures.

Cheers and do not forget to say “cheese” 🙂

“Please come fast I’m having an argument with my wife & she says she will jump out the window of your hotel”.

The manager responded, “Sir that’s a personal matter.”

Husband: “The window won’t open! That’s a maintenance matter!”

    • 8Thank you WG for posting that link to Donald Trump’s farewell speech.

The I have never been a full-on Trump fan. I haven’t had TDS, but I’ve tried to take a balanced view of the man and I’ve found myself sitting on the fence for the past 4 years.

But this speech was absolutely riveting! Why on earth do the world’s press not to mention all the most rich and powerful hate this guy so much???

America is truly in a dark place right now.

    • Even basic maths is beyond them. There’s possibly 15% of the population who believe in a magic man in the sky. Then there may be another 10% on top of those who could be described as social conservatives who know better than everyone else how to live their lives. The balance of the population who are not awestruck by Cindy don’t give a fuck & just want sane economic management with personal freedom.

Appealing to a quarter of the country’s voters seems to be narrowing down the potential for a win.

CIA Director Gina Haspel is personally blocking the declassification of documents detailing corruption at the highest levels of the intelligence community during the 2016 election, according to The Federalist co-founder Sean Davis.

While new information about wrongdoing at the FBI has recently been declassified, including recent revelations about Hillary Clinton campaign’s collusion with Russia, Davis reported on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Wednesday that Haspel herself is standing in the way of the declassification of other relevant documents.

  13. FFS ,I took my old ma into Godfreys to buy a new vacuum cleaner and she settled on a cordless Dyson ,it has a good warranty but to keep the warranty valid it must be returned every 12 months for a “full service” at a cost of approx $60.00 for 3 years in a row, so $180,00 all up ,when I told the guy what to do with his warranty he said “no no no you don’t have to do it but we recommend it” cunning little bastards you can just imagine how many old folk they rip off with this B/S.

    10

      • Yep. Consumer Guarantees Act covers this. These salespeople try and push an extra warranty onto shit they sell. Harvey Normans, Noel Leeming are particully bad for this. Extended warranties are not needed.

“The Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) protects consumers by:
allowing you to seek repairs, replacements or refunds when goods are faulty
setting minimum guarantees for all products and services.
All New Zealand businesses and people in trade have to meet their responsibilities under the CGA. This means if you have a problem with a product or service, you can do something about it.”

    • I had a similar problem.

I took my old lady into “Peaches & Cream” in Wairau Rd to buy a new big black rubber cock and she settled on a cordless ‘Womanizer”, it has a good warranty but to keep the warranty valid it must be returned every 12 months for a “full service” at a cost of approx $20.00 for 10 years in a row, so $200 all up ,when I told the guy what to do with his warranty he said “no no no you don’t have to do it but we recommend it if you stick it up your ass”.

I was 28 weeks and 5 days pregnant when I received the first dose of the COVID19 vaccine. Two days later (12/25/2020 in the afternoon), I noticed decreased motion of the baby. The baby was found to not have a heartbeat in the early am on 12/26/2020 and I delivered a 2lb 7oz nonviable female fetus at 29 weeks gestation. I was 35 years old at the time of the fetal demise and the only pregnancy history for this pregnancy included a velamentous cord insertion that was being closely monitored by a high risk OB. My estimated due was March 12, 2021.

Joe Bidenstein just made a solemn speech about shining the light on darkness and quoted “we’ve gotta shine a light on the darkness between sundown and dusk ,ffs look it up on fox he’s getting worse by the second, Dr jill has had a spiral perm for the big occasion and doesn’t look a day over 70 ,what a pathetic joke the U S has become .

    • Yeah, cia head was trying to block it but has since resigned, now it looks like Nancy is trying to block it. Interesting that the fbi released documents that John Kennedy asked for an investigation into her dad and possible mafia links. Or that her brother was charged with raping an 1a and 13 year old girl. Her family might actually give the clintons a rung for their money

  16. The Greens are demanding a wealth tax. Still.

They say wealth is a net worth of a million or more. And would be taxed at 1%

So if you own an AVERAGE house, you could end up paying $10,000 a year. God help you if you saved a bit for retirement on top of that.

      She consciously uncoupled from reality.

Still, got to give credit for marketing ability – this is like selling pets rocks.

  18. Police to ‘predict’ hate crimes through Twitter for the first time

Police will use artificial intelligence to predict real-life hate crimes based on Twitter comments in the first trial of its kind in the UK.

The AI system, which was developed by Cardiff University researchers, will be used to match hateful comments on the social media site to locations in the UK in an effort to prevent violence offline.

Researchers proved that as the number of “hate tweets” – those deemed to be antagonistic in terms of race, ethnicity or religion – made from one location increased, so did the number of racially and religiously aggravated crimes, including violence, harassment and criminal damage.

  19. Stuff today carries a story about a prospective landlord who says more people should set up container homes for rent in their backyards. This coot is trying to find an agent or advertiser to locate a tenant for an abode based on a shipping container he has constructed in his back yard.

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/life-style/homed/housing-affordability/124000766/aspiring-landlord-says-more-people-should-set-up-container-homes-for-rent-in-their-backyards

While I accept that it should be up to code & relevant standards re insulation etc I don’t see that there’s anything inherently wrong with living in a container. We have an incompetent government which can’t begin to match its promises on housing with actual houses. Do we insist that a container is substandard when families are crammed into motel units or sleep in their cars?
