  1. Good morning all you stars of the only blog worth reading. Here we are, its Sunday in a week of another day off to appease the mob. Great stuff for the ptpm and her lot, busy cooking sausages to an already to a mostly obese lot of people with huge health issues why not? That will help of course with kindness and care and they will have received enough cash to enable them to be happy with how the day went but just for a day, tomorrow there will be more issues for them to complain about. Happy days.

    A nice day where I am. About 25 degrees Celsius and light breeze.

    It is 48 years since New Zealand’s warmest day.
    7 Feb 1973.
    There were a number of places in the top half South island where the temp was officially recorded as over 41 deg.
    Rangiora gets the official record.
    42.4 deg C
    There was close to this in Marlborough and CHC hit 41.6 C
    The North Island hit 39.2 in Ruatoria. The highest North Island temp ever recorded.

    Last year about this time Gisborne hit an high of 38.2. A full degree below the highest.
    Most of the ‘highs’ that the media filth rabbit on about in the last ten years are still 1 to 3 degrees lower than 1973.

    This was 48 years ago.
    Is there globby warming?
    Nearly half a century and not beaten.

    • I remember 1976 being a stinking hot summer – our banana palm produced fruit. But every summer was hot back then. I also remember the Wahine storm of 1968. I’ve never seen wind like that again and we lost my favourite apple tree in our Hamilton garden. Not many years after that they were predicting it was going to start cooling in the atmosphere so black office buildings to attract heat were a necessity… Then it got hot again… Bloody weather!! 😎

          Thailands pharmacies are great for buying drugs. You dont need to go to a Doctor and get a script. Just walk in and explain ya symptoms and they will dispense appropriate medicines. Very regulated and the people working in them are highly qualified. Cheeep as well. Kea, Viagras are around $2 each and apparently, they work very well.

      My wife was at the school pool a few weeks back and over heard some year 6 kids, she thought she misheard what they were talking about untill 1 of them said “show them the video”… yup they were watching extreme hardcore porn.
