  1. I am a stupid boy asked our opinion on bitcoin yesterday, so here is my two “Satoshis” worth.

People like Max Keiser say it will go to the moon (500k by end of year) and other shrewd investors like Jim Rogers say don’t touch it ‘’as the people with the guns decide what currencies we can use or not use at the end of the day’’.

So far Keiser has been dead right with Bitcoin going back to the days when it was only worth one dollar but for a more conspiratorial view lets follow FDR`s adage that ‘’there are no accidents in politics’’(or big finance).

Given the murky background of how Bitcoin was introduced to the world with the fictitious character called ‘’Satoshi Nakamoto’’,maybe it is just a massive psy-op to make crypto currencies edgy and cool? And when the central banks issue their ‘’Fed-Coin’’ etc using blockchain technology they will be more readily accepted?

As in FDR`s day, holders of physical gold were accused of ‘’hoarding’’ and forced to sell to the State at less then market value and holding gold was illegal…maybe holders of Bitcoin will be forced to swap their ‘’unregulated’’ coins ‘’used to fund domestic terrorism’’ or such like terminology for the ”safe and regulated” State issued crypto currency.

    • Theyre fuckwits, ive had severalmates and employers taken to ERA by scum.
Stupidest one was my co worker was theiving lots of petrol, boss went down and caught him in the act and cops couldnr come for a while so he took the fuel can and syphon hose as evidence. Worker got suspended then fired, ERA ruled my boss had to pay the scum thousands for emotional harm for the theft of the workers fuel can and because it was a small town he got a bad rep and couldnt gain employment in the area 12k payout from memory
The scum syphoned the quad bike twice a day for almost a year and never had to pay a cent back, same guy got 28k payout from next employer for getting fired dealing meth to the other workers.

Fuck ERA theyre worse then tenancy tribunal.

        • Also reminds me of a mate who hired a winz recruited douche, turned up for work for 4 days then done the old move outta the house and disapear in the middle of the night trick. Mate didnt think anything of it untill a few weeks later he was getting taken to court for unfair dismissal!! Turns out the scum had done this to every employer previous and would get 20-30k payouts each time, that was clearly easier then working. Anyways my mate wasnt having a bar of it and vowed the cunt wasnt getting a cent, he spent over 40k on lawyers but didnt care it cost more then the payout would have as he was a man of principals.
And lefty losers dont understand why migrant labour is a nore desirable option, kiwis are lazy drugged up scum.

          • A robust legal system should have systems in place to detect serial users.
You would think that the system would recognize and red-flag serial payout-receivers like this lazy guy.
Or does the legal system not care if it can be routinely taken advantage of and abused?

            • ERA operate along same lines as our pathetic justice system, past offences/history is sequestered and only evidence for the current case is allowed. My mate didnt know the dude had successfully won payouts from every previous employer untill after the ruling. ERA rules in the employees favour well over 90% of all cases, clearly discriminatory against employers.

              • And how is this good for the sustainability of businesses, which employ people and create the wealth that forms the basis for government taxation income?

    • Dud Judges.

If you dont like lawyers remember the entire collection of judges comes from the pool of lawyers.

There are so many places these critters can hide out.

Andrew Becroft of the Annoying Kids Mob was a judge before this.
So pathway:- Lawyer > Dudge > Annoying prick talking shite about kids affairs.

An example of when you think a judge can be bad, they can also get worse.
      Abandon all hope.

    • I developed a very good question for former employers of a job applicant.
I explained that there were three answers to the question I would put. Any answer is a good answer. The answers can be Yes, or no OR I am not going to answer that question.
The question; Was that person involved in any employee dispute process?

    • Ah, but Putin bad.
      Treason May says so.
Orange Man never condemned him so there must be collusion.

The novichok hook line and sinker story was so bad it looks like it was devised by a six year old on crack.
Novichok so deadly ….. it does not kill.
I am sure people will downtick me (decades of fake gnews working) for that but here’s the thing…
Covid is so bad that most people need a test to know they have it.
      Same story, different day.

The anti Russia 2016 interference story thing run by Fruity’s mates, the Demonrats, for four years was just as silly.

There is still lots of Russian propaganda run by corrupt western media and yet because peoples are conditioned to fear Russia , westerners automatically believe it.

Western (controlled, co-ordinated, and not free) media will go on about corruption in Russian elections and Putin is illegitimate…..
What about the US 2020 Election.
      Who is Pravda now?

COVID-19 RNA Based Vaccines and the Risk of Prion Disease

    Results

Analysis of the Pfizer vaccine against COVID-19 identified two potential risk factors for inducing prion disease is humans. The RNA sequence in the vaccine [3] contains sequences believed to induce TDP-43 and FUS to aggregate in their prion based conformation leading to the development of common neurodegerative diseases. In particular it has been shown that RNA sequences GGUA [4], UG rich sequences [5], UG tandem repeats [6], and G Quadruplex sequences [7], have increased affinity to bind TDP-43 and or FUS and may cause TDP-43 or FUS to take their pathologic configurations in the cytoplasm. In the current analysis a total of sixteen UG tandem repeats (ΨGΨG) were identified and additional UG (ΨG) rich sequences were identified. Two GGΨA sequences were found. G Quadruplex sequences are possibly present but sophisticated computer programs are needed to verify these.

The spike protein encoded by the vaccine binds angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE2), an enzyme which contains zinc molecules [8]. The binding of spike protein to ACE2 has the potential to release the zinc molecule, an ion that causes TDP-43 to assume its pathologic prion transformation [9].

    6

    • Mate, that makes perfect sense to me but it’s not the GGΨA sequences that are the problem at all. It’s all the slampoflerks swimming around with the potential to flumm our egonodules that worry me.

Believe me. This is not a good time to have your egonodules all flummed up.

      8

    • You left out the most important sentence in that document….

      . Approving a vaccine,
utilizing novel RNA technology without extensive testing is
extremely dangerous. The vaccine could be a bioweapon and even
more dangerous than the original infection.

      11

      • The “vaccine” is a messager between your DNA and proteins. Science do not fully understand the process that can go array and apparently “may cause infertility, auto-immune diseases and other unknown side effects” yet the world is being injected willy-nilly.

Those who are for the vaccine scoff and dismiss any concerns raised that it is experimental, blindly accepting their jab with total submission.

  4. https://pandemic.warroom.org/2021/02/08/fauci-pushes-kid-vaccination-with-little-to-none-research/

Dr. Maria Ryan reports there has been “little to none” Wuhan virus vaccine research conducted on adolescents, with Moderna publicly admitting they cannot get parental consent for children 12 and under to enroll in their experimental trials.

“We as an industry cannot just put out a vaccine without testing it,” Dr. Ryan said. “And we have to have volunteers to test.”

This means Tony Fauci is pushing vaccines for children this summer as a means for herd immunity without adequate research in place.

Southland farmers voted blue and yellow, wouldve been more blue if collins hadnt of fucked off the hunting farmers with her appalling performance on cindys gun law select commitee.
Southland farmers have been fighting this shit for many years with enviro souths land plan then damien came in and threw an even more retarded plan on the table, so retarded infact that even ES reject it.

      • Can you prove they did? I live in an area that supposedly swapped from blue to red, actually in a town that we are told was one of the towns that switched to red. Small town, most people know each other, this town never swapped from blue to red. My personal feeling is our election was a test run for the USA fraud to see if people would be outraged and if they could steal an election

I have never questioned the NZ voting system. But after what happened in the US I have started asking myself a number of questions. First one, why did John Podesta make the visit to NZ? Second –do we buy the answer given to the FIFO question about vote counting machines / software . They said under the 1990 (?) Election Act all votes are counted by hand but at the same time we read that Auckland Council have been evaluating machines and software. The report said they were down to choosing Dominion or Scytl !!! Why would the ACC be looking at counting machines but nationally they are supposedly counted by hand ??
              Something is not right.

  5. A young man presents himself at the local monastery, saying that he has a calling to train as a monk. He is required to pass a test along with all the monks. A bell is attached to his penis, and he is warned that if the bell rings then that proves he is not suitable for the sacred calling that he has chosen.
Then a beautiful and naked young women walks into the room, and the sound of one bell ringing fills the air. In fact his bell rings so vigorously that it falls off! He bends over to pick up the fallen bell, and suddenly all the bells from the monks behind him are heard to ring.

An extensive report produced by the U.K. government today has detailed all the suspected side effects, including death, reported by medical staff or the people who received at least one Covid-19 vaccine between early December 2020 and January 31, 2021. The two vaccines currently in use in the U.K. are the Pfizer/BioNTech and the Oxford University/AstraZeneca. A Mid-South doctor has died of a COVID-related illness. However, he never knew he had the virus and he’d been vaccinated….

Williams, an Orthopedic Surgeon for OrthoSouth, died February 8 of multisystem inflammatory syndrome or MIS, a condition usually affecting children and attacking the immune system.

“The immune system attacks the body in many ways and causes multi-organ system failure,” Threlkeld said. “It affects the heart, the gastrointestinal tract and other places.”

Threlkeld says Williams tested positive for COVID antibodies, meaning he had COVID at one time, but he never knew it. And he had gotten his second COVID vaccine just weeks before his death.

    • That sounds to me more like septicemia.

I looked it up this new thing
      https://www.thelancet.com/journals/eclinm/article/PIIS2589-5370(20)30271-6/fulltext
Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C), also known as pediatric inflammatory multisystem syndrome, is a new dangerous childhood disease that is temporally associated with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

      That sounds bit fecking convenient.

      Whereas, from healthline:
“Septicemia is a serious bloodstream infection. It’s also known as blood poisoning.
Septicemia occurs when a bacterial infection elsewhere in the body, such as the lungs or skin, enters the bloodstream. This is dangerous because the bacteria and their toxins can be carried through the bloodstream to your entire body.
Septicemia can quickly become life-threatening. It must be treated in a hospital.
If left untreated, septicemia can progress to sepsis.
Septicemia and sepsis aren’t the same. Sepsis is a serious complication of septicemia. Sepsis causes inflammation throughout the body. This inflammation can cause blood clots and block oxygen from reaching vital organs, resulting in organ failure.”

Sepsis can damage the lungs, heart, liver and esp kidney.
Sepsis kills more people than lung cancer or heart attacks.
      Therefore more deadly than Covid

Chances are he was infected possibly by the covid needle.
How many times has this happened?
      ‘COVID-related illness’ fits this narrative.
If you get infected from a needle while getting the covid vaccine , well it fits.

Since we live in a post-truth world and media print or gabble complete bollocks then it is well worth questioning a convenient narrative that fits the fear mongering.

  12. No wonder Victoria’s State Premier, Jack Daniels (who has just placed Victoria into another ruinous lockdown) is such a traitorous weasel:

    From the official State website…

    “A snapshot of our diversity

Victoria is home to one of the most culturally diverse societies in the world, and is also among the fastest-growing and most diverse states in Australia.

At the 2016 Census, Victoria’s population was 5.93 million. It increased by 10.7% since 2011, compared to 8.8% for the whole of Australia.

    Of Victoria’s total population:

28.4% were born overseas in over 200 countries
49.1% were born overseas or born in Australia with at least one parent born overseas
26% spoke a language other than English at home
59% followed one of more than 130 different faiths”

      • “There are not enough swear words to describe that cunt.”

        BGR will try:

        40. Cow
If someone calls you a cow, regardless of whether they are Kat Slater or not, you cannot truly feel offended. Cows are beautiful and without them we would never have burgers. It’s the same as calling you a cattle, which is how posh people pronounce kettle so simmer down.
        39. Damn
This isn’t even a swear word and I’m annoyed that I’ve included it in the list to be honest. It’s the most fire album of 2017 thanks to Kendrick Lamar, and I refuse to regard it as anything else. It’s also something a beaver builds, aside from lasting and meaningful friendships.
        38. Crap
Anything that’s an anagram of ‘carp’ simply cannot be seen as threatening and that is firmly but fairly the law in this country. It literally means poop, which is a perfectly normal bodily function. When you’re under the age of 11 it feels like a really cool word to use, but then other 4-letter c-words barge their way into your vernacular.
        37. Bloody
Unless you are describing the viscosity of blood, this ‘swear word’ is too tame to be taken seriously. It’s like a garnish for regular words, e.g. Those bloody beetroots are delicious, etc. There are far more adventurous bodily fluids that can be used to insult a person, if you ask me.
        36. Sod
‘It was reported that the murderer appeared to fall into a blind violent rage after he was referred to as a sod’, is a sentence you will never hear in a court of law. Calling someone a sod is about as effective as calling them a clumptyduff, which is a word I just made up. You are a sod, Keith, a combination of turf and grass.
        35. Bugger
Oh dear, the crumpets are out of date, well bugger our luck, Jeffrey. If you get your swearing tendencies from Downton Abbey, then this one is the curse word for you. I’m almost certain that a bugger is a person that has a large collection of insects and you’ll do well to convince me otherwise.
        34. Git
Definitely more of a jokey nickname than a serious swear word, you simply cannot take someone seriously if in the heat of the moment, the best insult they can muster up is git. At best, it’s a typo of GIF. If someone had poisoned you and you were using your last dying breath to tell them what’s what, the last thing you’d call them is a git.
        33. Arse
“I can’t believe you’ve burned down my house, you are such an arse”, said no one ever. The whole point of a swear word is to emphasise your emotions. By using another word for ‘bottom’, you’re unlikely to impress anyone by calling them an arse. If anything, you’ll be ridiculed for the rest of your natural life for using such a tame little word.
        32. Bint
Watch out, we’ve got a badass over here. Throwing out words like bint is sure to get you locked up for crimes against banter, that’s for certain. It’s mostly used in relation to women, but, go with me on this one, imagine calling a man a bint. Well he’d just be devastated until the end of time to be on the receiving end of such a heated and cutting insult.
        31. Munter
This word originated when someone mistyped punter. ‘But ‘m’ and ‘p’ are quite far apart on a keyboard’, I hear you say. Listen, I just make up these facts, not the logic behind them. Good luck ever getting your frustration across with a word like munter in your repertoire, you blatant Enid Blyton character.
        30. Minger
TRUTH: I once watched an episode of University Challenge where one of the contestants’ surname was legitimately Minger. So when she buzzed in an answer, the voiceover would announcer her as ‘Queen’s University Minger’ and I’ve never laughed so much in my entire shitty life. I can’t find the footage but please can someone try harder than I have. It was gold.
        29. Balls
If you’re a little fraidy cat, maybe this word will offend you and also everyday things such as fresh air, water and flavoured yoghurts. Balls can refer to any number of things. One time, I read an article in a college paper and the writer was so afraid of balls that he/she wrote it as ‘b*lls’. THAT COULD’VE BEEN ANYTHING! That pervert could’ve rested his bills on your face for all we know.
        28. Arsehole
Brigadier General Rissole is an asshole.
        27. Bullshit
Although an undeniably great word, it’s not particularly effective. A word that we use more or less every day is inevitably going to lose its touch over time. I’ve described the most innocent of experiences as bullshit, such as a stain on my shirt or the threat of nuclear war. I need something more from a swear word. More finesse, less livestock excrement.
        26. Pissed
I’d like to make my feelings perfectly clear on this word: Why can’t we give it one meaning. If someone is described as being pissed, it’s hard to determine whether they’re drunk or annoyed, or both. We need to settle on one definition and I’d like it to be in reference to insobriety. Glad I could get that off my chest. Thank you.
        25. Shit
Let. Us. Challenge. Ourselves. To. Use. More. Inventive. Swear. Words. Shit just isn’t cutting the mustard for me anymore, we can do better. The world has gone to shit, so let’s not allow our vocabulary to do the same. Better words for shit include: turd, post-food, faeces, love package, and dump.
        24. Jesus Christ
It’s just a man’s name FFS. If you were to drop a heavy object on your toe, you’re hardly going to shout ‘GRAHAM SMITH!’ Swear jars deserve better circumstances for being filled. Jesus Christ is not a swear word, nor should it be regarded as such. It gets a 0/10 for effectiveness.
        23. Bitch
Schoolyard taunts were always retorted with: ‘A bitch is a female dog, dogs bark, bark comes from trees. and trees are beautiful so thanks for the compliment’. It was extremely extra but it distracted the bullies for long enough so you could Heely away from the situation rapidly. You wouldn’t call someone a pen (female swan) or a tigress (female antelope jk it’s a tiger).
        22. Son of a bitch
Technically all male dogs are sons of bitches and I just won’t have a bad word said about a dog. Ever. This is a safe zone for dogs. Dogs are among our most popular readers here at JOE, and we are legally obligated to acknowledge that by making them feel comfortable and catered for. Who’s a good boy? You all are. Even the girl dogs too.
        21. Bollocks
*sighs* It’s with a heavy heart I must announce that we’re back to the anatomy swearing again. Bollocks is just a fancier word for balls but we’re still dealing with the same premise. Please see number 29 above for my feelings on the matter.
        20. Bellend
Yet more anatomical cursing. In terms of housekeeping, it’s nice that there’s one single word to describe the head of a penis, but I think users of swear words would actually find the term ‘penis head’ a far more satisfactory way to refer to someone that is precisely that. Try it yourself. Call someone a penis head today!
        19. Tit
Again, you’re going to find that calling someone a boob is far more satisfactory than this allegedly vulgar term that Drake and Josh’s sister coined during that wonderful television show. Tit is also a type of bird, and probably more satisfying than calling someone a chaffinch.
        18. Fanny
One time I met a girl on holidays and her name was legitimately Fanny, so I struggle to take this swear word seriously. Add to that, the fact that Americans use it to refer to an overall butt and we’re in a situation where the word has lost all credibility entirely. Geographically speaking, where even is the fanny?
        17. Snatch
Here are my personal understandings of the word ‘snatch’ – it is a movie directed by Guy Ritchie and it is the act of grabbing something aggressively. I refuse to acknowledge it as any other meaning, let alone a swear word. Much like the current price of Freddos, it’s just not good enough.
        16. Clunge
This particular swear word sounds like something a plumber would do with some weird looking tool when you’ve overloaded your toilet. ‘Yeah looks like it’s an easy enough job, I’ll just get behind the sink, give it a quick clunge and we’ll be good to go’. Also, calling someone a vagina is 100% more satisfying. That’s tried and tested.
        15. Gash
I went to school with a girl whose surname was Gash, so I can’t now and never will take this curse word seriously. It also sounds too violent for the nature it’s intended to relate to. ‘The patient has suffered a serious gash, but is said to be in a stable condition’. Hah he suffered a vagina, what an idiot.
        14. Prick
A nurse’s warning before an injection is difficult to take seriously when used in a swear word capacity. Yes it’s also a word for penis, but at the same time it’s an effective method of drawing blood. For instance, pinch wouldn’t be a great swear word. ‘Fuck off Jeremy you utter pinch’.
        13. Twat
Or as the Americans say, *shudders*, twot. It’s a decent swear word, especially if you really want to undermine someone without going the full monty and calling them the c-word. Twat is a lighter, more family friendly version of many insults that you can get away with if you don’t particularly fancy being murdered.
        12. Punani
A fair recipient of the title Funniest Swear Word Ever, this particular curse is very versatile, it sounds like something off an Indian menu and can be shortened to ‘poon’ if you’re feeling adventurous. Unlike many of the above entries, punani is actually far more satisfactory than its true meaning – female genitalia. ‘Derek, you’re such a female genitalia’ doesn’t have as much oomph.
        11. Pussy
This special curse word is a lot of fun because people, particularly the elderly, use it frequently without any malice intended. Many of us will have been subjected to our grandparents trying to get the cat indoors by saying ‘Here pussy’ and had to stifle our laughter. If a group of lads go on patrol in Magaluf but not for pussy, did they ever really go on patrol at all?
        10. Minge
Definitely a French word for something like grapes, minge is a very decent swear word. It’s exotic, edgy and always a great grounds for outrageous graffiti. I’ve seen ‘Kelly has a smelly minge’ scrawled across more bathroom doors than I’ve seen it scrawled across hot dinners.
        9. Cock
Despite one being on the front of a Corn Flakes box, cock is a really solid swear word. You can describe a situation as being cock, a person as being a cock and if you’re feeling particularly spicy, a group of people as a load of cock. Cocks literally make the world go round.
        8. Knob
It’s the silent ‘k ‘ that really clinches this one. Any swear word for penis is typically a winner, as this top ten fully reflects. Knob, similar to number 11 in the list, is an everyday word that can often be used innocently which makes its appeal as a swear word even more so. Shoutout to the shop in Dublin that’s legitimately called ‘Knobs and Knockers’.
        7. Dickhead
Close your eyes. Picture a person with an actual dick for a head. Open your eyes. Doesn’t the world feel brighter somehow? Like everything hasn’t quite fallen to pieces just yet. Every time you call someone a dickhead, an angel’s dick falls off. If you’re feeling particularly intellectual, you can call someone a Richard Cranium and see how long it takes for them to figure it out.
        6. Dick
A shortened version of the aforementioned swear, dick is particularly excellent because it’s also a popular name among elderly men. I used to play tennis in a club where there were two coaches named Dick and Willy. Needless to say, it wasn’t long before I was asked to leave the premises and return when I’d matured. Still haven’t gone back tbh.
        5. Bastard
People are called bastard all the time, with little regard to whether their parents were married at the time of their birth. Most of us know a few legitimate bastards, but mostly it’s the inauthentic bastards that get told what’s what. I’ll call anyone a bastard if they wrong me, so watch your back.
        4. Fuck
The average adult uses this word upwards of 200 times a day, 400 if they’re working in an office environment, or with children. Everything about the word ‘fuck’ is perfect. Fuck you, fuck me, fuck him, fuck her, fuck you (plural), fuck us, fuck them, fuck everything. Fuck.
        3. Motherfucker
In the business of swearing, things are taken to a slightly edgier level when you bring a parent into it. Technically, everyone’s dad is a motherfucker, but in my experience, they don’t enjoy being made aware of this fact. In instances of extreme frustration, motherfucker, at a beefy four syllables long, can offer the desired release.
        2. Wanker
Most people are wankers, it’s a perfectly normal thing to do. But for some reason, folks aren’t too keen on being reminded of that, particularly those in a position of power such as parents, teachers and members of the clergy. If you combine the appropriate hand gesture with wanker, you’re onto a winner.
        1. Cunt
I felt nervous even typing this word. Cunt is the one of the few swear words that’s just an absolute no go in many situations. In my house, you can get away with a decent selection of bad swears, but if you even so much as try to drop a C-bomb, you’ll be emancipated by sundown.
Cunt is versatile, it’s forceful and the combination of the harsh ‘C’ and ending with a sharp ‘T’ is borderline sexual. It’s the ultimate insult. Ideally, I’d like to live in a world where it’s socially acceptable to use the world wherever and whenever you like. I want to jokingly call my employer a cunt when he says my language is disgraceful – and not get fired this time.

  14. Another political attack, using the judiciary in law-fare in France.
    .
The trial comes as opinion polls show Le Pen will likely face off again against Emmanuel Macron in next year’s presidential contest, after her National Rally made its strongest showing ever in the 2017 vote.
    .
Le Pen shared the gruesome images in December 2015, a few weeks after Islamic State group jihadists killed 130 people in attacks in Paris, in response to a journalist who drew a comparison between IS and her party.
    .
One of the pictures showed the body of James Foley, an American journalist beheaded by the Islamist militants.
    [later deleted for the family]
    .
Another showed a man in an orange jumpsuit being run over by a tank, and the third a Jordanian pilot being burned alive in a cage.
    .
“Daesh is this!” Le Pen wrote in a caption, using an Arabic acronym for IS. ……
    .
….. The crime is punishable by up to three years in prison and a fine of 75,000 euros ($90,000).
    .
Le Pen, a lawyer by training, has said she is the victim of a political witch-hunt — she refused an order to undergo psychiatric tests as part of the inquiry.
    .
She was also stripped of her parliamentary immunity over the pictures.
    .
“Marine Le Pen had no intention, nor even any awareness, of endangering any minor. She was responding to an attack, a provocation, by a journalist,”

    • The juggle of students.

150 students aged under 18 and a guardian flown to New Zealand to quarantine in a hotel modelled on the existing Covid-19 MIQ facilities.

Chris Hipkins said the proposal, now being spearheaded by the Schools International Education Business Association (SIEBA), was “under consideration”.
      https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/education/124168570/covid19-proposal-for-schoolrun-miq-for-international-students-under-consideration

That would not seem to be change the situation, but give another finger to point at if there is an out break?

One would wonder if those lecturers, academia could do better and inspire to work by practical organizing “local” fruit pickers, vege pickers, planters & pruners, staff for pack houses etc.. 🙂
A great way to experience life first hand in NZ.

If that happens, it says schools and tertiary institutions will start the year with between 25,000 and 30,000 foreign students, when under normal circumstances the figure is closer to 100,000.

In late January, Universities New Zealand director Chris Whelan said the fall in numbers would cause difficult financial decisions at universities.
      https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/education/300224426/foreign-students-prepare-to-leave-country-as-study-visas-expire

The demand on quarantine centres for students would seem to mean no one else can in to NZ,?

        • This branding exercise of “NZ 100% Covid Free” is going to cost a lot more than many people think.
I get the feeling that the NZ government is simply following the lead of the Australian states.
I am appalled at how scared ordinary Kiwis are (especially women) and what lengths they will go to to “comply.” Such a pliable population!
You can really understand how pogroms and purges are so easy for a government to initiate.
It’s as if New Zealanders learning nothing from the sacrifices of its men and women in WWII to fight authoritarian tyrannies. (I do think the Japanese government learnt its lesson well.)

These men and women are now in cemeteries over New Zealand.

The present generation are obsessed with men wearing panties.

            Go figure!

            • You can only say “times have changed” if you can remember back far enough to when things really were different. Aucklanders in their 60s may recall leaner, poorer and whiter times of 40 years ago (I suppose). But to Aucklanders in their 20s, this city has always been a Chinese-and-Indian-rich bonanza.

Each generation has its own memories of “how it used to be.”
“How it used to be” is constantly changing, depending on your perspective.

          • In my travel up to Manukau heads stayed in a camping ground. The tow car and the camper both had MAGA stickers proudly displayed on the back. There were 5 other campers there on the last night. While packing up and connecting the tow car to the camper, 3 men came over to help. They all saw the MAGA’s and commented about how true it was. I went inside to get them some. These men were in their 70’s. The other couple were in their 80’s and refused to take any. This proved that the really elderly around the country have been taken in by Cindy and her lies to protect us all from the Chinese flue.
On the trip to the restored lighthouse I climbed up inside to have a look. To my surprise there was a plaque saying the witch Helen Clark had officially opened it. I left some of my DNA sliding down over her name.

          • ……”the sacrifices of its men and women in WWII to fight authoritarian tyrannies”…..

NZ women had much to atone for during & after WW2. They, with the assistance of the scummy Xtian churches, used the absence of the men fighting in WW1 to push for abstinence in NZ. From Wikipedia:

……”On 10 April 1919, a national poll for continuance was carried with 51%, due only to votes of the Expeditionary Force soldiers returning from Europe.”……

IOW they were prepared to use the killing fields of Europe to advance an idealistic notion of greater good & remove the rights of ALL Kiwis to drink.

As a dry alky I’m naturally not keen on alcohol but I have more respect for the rights of others than the sisterhood of the time.

Worst thing man ever done was teach women to talk, 2nd worse thing was letting them vote. 3rd worse thing was letting one run a fucking country!!!

Good work on being a dry alky, wifey is 2 months into that journey and what a world of difference its made.

              • Women spearheaded the temperance movement here & overseas. There’s quite a good record of what went on at https://nzhistory.govt.nz/politics/temperance-movement

In the Wairarapa, where I hail from, Masterton was a classic example of what could happen when the mad bitches took control. The borough was dry but the surrounding areas weren’t. Although alcohol couldn’t be sold in Masterton until the late 40s it was brewed there, the product being transported by truck over the Waingawa bridge into Carterton territory then transferred to cars & trailers & driven back to be consumed in private homes. Needless to say the hotels in the surrounding small towns did a roaring trade.

As to me I’ve been dry for 21 years & intend to stay that way. Not being able to drink is my problem & is fuck all of a reason to stop others from doing as they want.

I wish your ball & chain all the best in her efforts. It’s not easy but definitely worth it.

The Women’s Christian Temperence Movement was not a radical outfit. It was very conservative. In the 1890’s there were a lot of drunken larrikins in our country and they all had one vote. Horror! They might for a socialist outfit. Sheppard’s mob pointed out to the puritanical men in parliament that if women got the vote it would solidify conservative tendencies.

              • Yes Iaasb, an American woman in the mid west, like Ohio, where anti-alcohol anti-tobacco, strongly anti saloons, and anti-prostitutes and with some Woman’s Temperance Paper that became quite major in the late 1880’s and then internationalized by the 1890’s and their organizing spread across quite a bit of the world.
In the States more linked to “non conformist churches” not Anglician or Roman Catholic.

That helped co ordinate the likes of Kate Sheppard as also their goal was woman’s suffrage.
The politicians could see the writing on the wall, if more than half the votes were woman, and this was the pressure point they used, from 1893.

How could a politician even get through the “primaries” into any Party, when the woman were active?
So promises traded to get a position.

Churches also relied on money and it was so the woman could direct their husbands resources to it.
The choice of “hot tongue” and “cold bum” and so the spirit of man was traded on. 🙁

      https://thepienews.com/news/new-zealand-to-reopen-to-1000-intl-students-from-april/

Only students who are returning to the study are able to apply for places in the program, meaning new international students are ineligible,

  17. Well can anyone convince me that ex vice president Pence isn’t an absolute fucking louse? This gutless bastard is as unprincipled as Mitch McConnell; they hitch up to the Trump train when it helps them get reelected and then run when the truth needs telling (very Republican). Shit they remind me of Winston Peters and his campaigns, sucking up to the public, then running from his “previous bottom lines” (when he has a chance to achieve lasting positive change) distancing himself from his statements with a phrase like “that was during the election, this is what we have to do to get power”. How is it that morals and values are so plastic and elastic? In Peters case it’s simple he’s a low form of maggot that preys on the elderly and those sucked in by the MSM, so that he can achieve being pivotal and important, while retaining his incompetence and corruption. Pence just does it better.

Once they post their videos on their website I can highly recommend that you take the time to watch the presentation by a Canadian Professor Byram Bridle a vaccine expert. If you have the time Ramash Thakur and Simon Thornley were also quite interesting.

  19. Now that 2021 is past holidays, it’s become clear that rental inventory on Trademe has become very high. Auckland and Nelson are the most extreme, but Hamilton is also at a level not seen for a few years, and Nationally we are at equilibrium, where demand is equal to supply, unfortunately not in the places we want them.

This is having an impact on prices, which in the last 6 months got well above the long term trend as a percentage of Household Income. Expect prices for equivalent properties to be falling in Auckland and to begin topping off in the other major cities.

    https://jonette.co.nz/listings/posts/inventory-is-very-high.html?fbclid=IwAR2ePIqiWo94guXZp6gcBzBFG-gYQv6muAUaQpF_8NuCVmvfovAO-uHpwQ0
