  1. I wish I got into question time when I was a young binge drinker….. Imagine playing a drinking game when every time you hear ‘after 9 years of neglect’ or ‘after the previous governments lack of action’ you have to have a drink, you’d be up there at Winstons daily level of intoxication every time you played!

  2. I know not everyone is a fan of Gervais but this was pretty good,

    @rickygervais

It’s obvious to me that Jo Brand would never actually throw battery acid on anyone. It’s even more obvious that she would never waste any of her fucking milkshake.

        • I’ve been trying to find out if Jo Brand defended Mark Meechan (Count Dankula) or not. I cannot find her defending him at all or if she did, she was damn quiet about it. As such, I hope the British “justice” system throws the book at her.

Maybe then Leftards will realise the same rules apply to them and maybe, just maybe they’ll realise that inhibiting free speech is a bad idea.

(Gervias, unlike Brand, publicly defended Meechan).

    • I do wonder if Joe Brand has already used Battery Acid as a facial foundation now that her bile is completely acidified.

  3. This was about a honeytrap, but hardly sophisticated. I heard of a much more sophisticated one. A friend who suspected her husband of putting it about was told a good trick by a private detective.

The husband had bought a mid-life crisis Harley and wanted to go off on a road trip staying at camping grounds. The private detective suggested that she put lawn clippings in the bottom of his sleeping bag, while she was packing for him for his trip.

When the husband got home there was no complaining at all about what was in his sleeping bag, he clearly hadn’t used it on his trip.

The trap snapped and he confessed.

The lesson to learn? Pack your own bags lol.

    • The lefty government love a bit of biff, they even had a minister do it, and I believe the speaker of the house is known for a bit of a punch up with Tau Henere ( apologies for the spelling its incorrect) So how can a man who beats up people be the saviour of his families welfare? It must be lovely living in that family, he has beaten his wife and now two others I am guessing they all walk on eggshells every day. But mental health has gotten a good boost of funding, so the kids and perhaps wife can access those services.

    • Wife-beating is “low end offending”. We wonder why we have a massive domestic abuse problem in NZ. “he was under the influence blah blah” well no surprises there. NO excuse.

    • Been heaps of these sort of bleeding heart cases over the years.
One that sticks out in my mind from a while back was that overstayer from Tuvalu who required dialysis who had been served a deportation notice and could not stop beating up his wife.
The courts bent over backwards to let him stay with three “final” warnings if my memory serves me right.

  4. The Jo Brand thing annoys me.

The left are allowing it to grow because it reinforces their argument that real people are just being picky and pathetic when they object to the left way of seeing things and therefore are not worth listening to.

Freedom lovers need to rise above this type of shit – which goes against the cry for freedom of speech anyway (there is no way Brand is inciting anyone to do anything) – and continue to fight hard for freedom of thought and expression, whether we agree with it or not.

Picking on a comedian trying to be funny won’t help this fight!

    • I like Jo Brands dry humour, but she’s clanged on this one.
Lunatic lefties are more likely to see this as a call to action than an unfunny joke, but it does remind me of the hysteria over John Cleese’s comments about Palmerston North.

    • Fair point Tinman like you i prefer these people out themselves on social media or wherever most eventually can’t help themselves it’s their moral superiority that makes them believe they are untouchable, yeah most of them are bloody stupid like Brand but the entertainment that follows is pure gold and as this site is dedicated to free speech we can hardly be the same hypocrites we claim the left to be

      0

      0

    • On this point I disagree

The left have to experience their own medicine – the vile Alinsky rules have to be used against them. If it’s OK for a big fat tub of lard to incite violence things because she meant it as a joke, then it’s OK for me to call Jo Brand a big, fat tub of lard (because I meant it as a joke). See rule 11 (“If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside.“)

If the left want everyone to behave nicely and not say mean things, we have to follow rule 4 (“Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.“). And why do I refer to the comedienne as a big, fat, tub of lard – well refer to rule 5 (“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon) after all I’m only joking when I say it.

As a better man than me once put it “it’s not tiddlywinks, we’re playing here ref!”.

If the Left are allowed to use the Alinsky rules with impunity then Free Speech will be extinguished forever. This is about not being the loser who turns up to a gunfight with a knife! (Refer to Rule 10 – “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition..

Everything the left do is governed by the Alinsky Rules. If it becomes too horrible for them to use the Rules because they’re used back against them (preferably with interest) they will be defeated. The Rules have to be viewed in the same way as chemical or nuclear weapons – they dare not be used for fear the opposition uses them too. Mutually Assured Destruction.

We are in the endgame of the culture war here and they’re firing nuclear missiles and the good guys are trying to play the white man by being civil (those days are gone forever). It’s a fight for the soul of the human race and a tickling stick just doesn’t cut it.

      • Very good.
        “experience their own medicine”
As so many have had no life experiences, no business experience, no understanding of history, all about feelings, yet so happy do the bully boy Alinsky tactics.

  6. I was watching the tail end of the Project last night while we’re cleaning the kitchen, waiting for Lego Masters to start to see if the challenge was interesting enough to watch or if I’d head back to work.

They were showing a video of a woman doing the whole run-over-the-garbage-bins thing. Spoiler alert, she fell in a bin. The hosts’ comment was “white trash” with much laughter.

It’s such a different standard, isn’t it? If a host had said “black trash” or “coloured trash” or something similar they’d be without a job in a week and there’d be a few formal complaints laid.

  7. Tarrant in court today. Or rather he will be present via video link. Few people are being allowed into court and there will be no cameras. All 51 murder charges will be read out.

A serious murder/terrorist charge has reached court in a timely manner. Somehow not so the young man accused of sexual assault at the Labour camp 18 months ago. Are they hoping to wait long enough for the judge to deem his right to a timely trial has been abused?

  8. Titirangi is being overrun by rats. All those people who decided having their own chickens and fresh eggs has fueled the outbreak. “Throwing your scraps out on the ground is not a good idea”. Yes, rats are opportunists and soon breed quickly when there is an abundance of free food. Will the ACC step in and assist residents to rid their properties of these pesky rodents?

Best tip so far: Mix rat bait with Pix Peanut Butter. Nuts and seeds are favourites of rodents.

PS: found a link but they insisted in signing in so flagged it.

    • “Best tip so far: Mix rat bait……..”

Better still, get the tight-arsed green hippies to let the moths out of their wallets & buy bait stations. That way they won’t spend their weekends burying their neighbours’ dogs & their pet cats that have expired through secondary poisoning.

      0

      0

    • They have village chickens, where people had originally dumped them in town or close, so people have been feeding them and it is that food I believe which is feeding the rats. Too much food being given to ducks at duck ponds has issues too causing botulism and the fouling (not fowling) 😉 of the water, causing botulism.

  9. I had a quick scroll through Kiwiblog for shit and giggles this morning. There was an interesting guest post about tax, indexation and beneficiaries.

You’re a real estate agent. Don’t presume to lecture us on what it means to work for a living. It’s a concept you’re not qualified to talk about.” – gump

Mamma Bear is a recent real estate agent. Through her, I’ve met a few real estate agents. The vast majority of them work their asses off and all for the chance to make money. They’re not salaried. And when do they work? Customer facing usually when everybody else has stopped working. So when you’re busy scrolling through Trademe looking for property after the kids are in bed, or when you want to spend your weekend walking through Open Homes – there’s the real estate agent giving up time with his or her family to take your call at 9pm or to set-up and clean-up after you in the open homes.

But that’s not all they do – they also have to be sales people that are busy building a pipeline and that involves a whole lot of door knocking, relationship building and effort.

How much effort goes in to taking a buyer to several open homes – hell – Mamma Bear spent 4 hours per weekend for about 2 months on a buyer looking through properties, who ended up buying through another friend at a whim. And then had the gall to call Mamma Bear for help on the legal side of things as the agent she had chosen was useless. How would you like to work for a week with no income? Because when the buyer buys through a different agent, you get stuff all despite all the effort you put in.

Granted, when you’ve put in the hard yards, when you’ve built a team and a reputation and you’re successfully employing a number of people you start to coin it. The money is good if the market is good. But there’s a lot of hard work to get to that point and a lot of hard work to keep that going; especially when we have a government hell-bent on destroying the property market.

  10. It’s OK when the left incite violence to their political opponents

I know our esteemed host posted on the fat, old, hypocritical and deeply revolting Jo Brand (it’s ok that’s not offensive – I intended it as a joke bwahahahaha) yesterday.

However, I think it’s important to air this think piece on this incident by one of the people that the fat, old, hypocritical and deeply revolting Jo Brand (again I mean that only in an affectionate way as a joke hehehe). Carl Benjamen – who stood as an MEP candidate in the recent EU elections.

Differently to the FOHDRJB (a joke! I promise) he makes a reasoned, calm and sane case about the hyprocrisy of the situation and the terrifying parallels with the “2 minutes hate” sessions of George Orwell’s increasingly factual novel – 1984.

If you listen to the BBC or any of the ‘acceptable’ establishment commentariat – Carl Benjamen is literally Hitler who has to be banned from ever saying anything in public. I listen to his YouTube clips regularly and he just seems like a sane, smart and eloquent ordinary person who is worried about the insanity happening around him.

Make your mind up. Is Carl Benjamen a menace to society? Or his he just saying things that the Left don’t dare let anyone of their indoctrinated accolytes hear in case they start thinking for themselves like the poor persecuted Winston Smith in 1984.

Scary times, very scary times. Especially as we are past the halfway point towards another election when the vile behaviour of the left will ramp up again – when the first milkshake attack on David Seymour occurs – I’ll be blaming the FOHDRJB and her ilk for it.

  11. We’ve got the USA moving 1000 troops plus drones into Poland, pissing the Russians off big time, missiles being exchanged with Israel, two oil tankers torpedoed with one sinking in the Straits of Hormuz – is it time to be concerned we have numpties in Wellington running the country if a real war breaks out?

  12. I see the hobbit haters – supporters of the COL have been handed their arses.

The devious little pricks went into the election claiming that they would repeal the “hobbit law”.

A major fail and victory for the film & screen industry however this will be spun into the COLs idea.

I will never forget watching the evil queen at the LOR premiere in Wellington pushing through the crowd in Courtney Place with sweet cheeks to meet the actors. She was so excited, squealing like a wee piglet.

    0

    0

    • The trouble for them is most of the supporters for the “Hobbit Law” were also supporters of the CoL. I know many people who work in the industry and at the time were appalled by the Aussie union trying to get involved. Those people were and are all ardent Leftists. They were also happy with the legislation that was passed.

  14. Increase in firearm-related homicides ‘enormously concerning’
    https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/crime/113025353/increase-in-firearmrelated-homicides-enormously-concerning
“The number and public nature of firearm homicides in south Auckland is “enormously concerning” says a top south Auckland cop”.

Enormously concerning maybe but also entirely predictable.
When the government insists on importing poor uneducated people who then live in ghettos and follow American gang culture why would we expect to see anything different than an orgy of violence and mayhem.
I’m not actually sure what is worst, the violence itself or all the pathetic soul searching about what can be done to solve this problem when it was completely man made and preventable in the first place.

    • Received by e mail this morning this may be “fake news” but, on the other, it is all too believable:

Here’s an anecdote I heard the other day about a certain Auckland Police Station – when they went into their armoury to tool up for the armed patrols following the March massacre, half of their 14 Bushmasters were missing and half of those remaining had serial numbers which did not match those registered in their own records…

      • Some dirty cop left the dooor open for his mates, get in swap guns, bugger off. Get in touch with plod, offer them back on the quiet for $250 grand. just like in Palmy Nth. Plod will of course pay up to keep Joe Bloggs and co in the dark about their shady deals.

        0

        0

    • “a lot of those shootings are around [gang] patch protection and looking after their drug trade, from which they make millions”.

So it makes perfect sense to waste vast sums of taxpayer’s money confiscating guns from statistically the most law abiding citizens in the country and even more money on trying to introduce a registration scheme which those doing the killings will simply ignore. The police have lost the trust of licenced sporting shooters and the governments knee jerk actions seem likely to result in a bonanza for criminal gangs as tens of thousands of formerly lawfully owned guns disappear onto the grey or, even worse, the black market.

He fires off with “My Dad works in as a dancer in a gay bar and afterwards turns tricks for the dirty old men who want a quick suck”

After the bell has gone and the class finishes, the concerned teacher sidles up to little Johnny and asks if it’s true that his Dad works as a dancer and a male whore? Johnny looks around to make sure none of his mates are nearby and says
“Nah, it’s not true, my Dad works for TVNZ as a journalist in the newsroom, but I was too ashamed to admit that in front of the class, so I made up something less embarrassing to tell them instead”

    • I could handle their partisan pap if it wasn’t promoted as true or factual.

We live in a world where it takes longer to read the warning labels on a food package than it takes to eat the over processed, sugary crap it contains. (eg. May contain traces of nuts, gluten……..) In the words of David Lange, “a slow reader could starve to death”.

Compare this to my proposed mandatory warning preceding everything that comes out of TV3, MSM News, Red Radio etc. Example:

“The words following this warning contain Lefty propaganda excreted from the arse of a juvenile graduate of a left leaning tertiary education provider. No research was undertaken & no facts were inconvenienced in its preparation. Contains unmitigated bias & the opinions of a retard. Totally one sided & dedicated to the retention of Chompers & the CoL for another three years”.

At least then we would know to consign the article to the shitter without further ado.
