  1. What did that racist child molesting Harvey Weinstein loving black Woman Oprah Winfrey remind you of when she waited 10 seconds to say “WHAT” ? oh yeah that’s right one of those circus sideshow games where you’ve gotta roll the ping pong ball into the clowns mouth.
And no I didn’t watch the crap but I have seen the endless pisstaking of the black dykes scripted response to the pig Markles answer, what a joke the once mighty USA has become but never fear Joey has done a presser where he stated ” We are focused on making maternity pressure suits for female fighter pilots” at the same time forgetting the name of the secretary of defence , the US is in big trouble folks.

  2. Cindy is very busy this week. She has some difficult
decisions to make. What tea towel to wear next week,
what colour, what type of fabric, how to do a sad / frowny
face. It’s a tough job being a part-time Prime Minister.
She could however, just wear a paper bag on her head.

Have a great day, you awful peasants.

  3. Bill Gates and his allies in “Big Tech” and “Media” are forming an axis to be able to control what can be said which will set the terms of what they consider “Free Speech”.

This is much more than taking President Trump off twitter.

…… Microsoft has partnered with a number of tech and media companies for the purposes of creating a system of tracing content on the internet which would serve to destroy only privacy and anonymity. …….

    .
…… anyone who develops a meme, writes an article (or any type of document), audio, or whatever—would be susceptible to having it traced back once it reaches the internet, through a set of signals which would identify its “provenance”—or authorship. …..

…… have the ability to “track and de-anonymize information from the moment it created on a computer.” By so doing, these companies would have the ability to attach signals to the information which would allow it to be censored and/or suppressed wherever it goes online. ….
    .
….. Even if the information was shared by a third person, the attached signals would still prevent the information from being shared online due to the point of origin, while once again allowing that information to be tracked back to the source.
    .
Imagine for a moment that you send an email to a friend which complains about say coronavirus lockdowns or maybe about possible election malfeasance.

      • A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious.
But it cannot survive treason from within.

An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly against the city.

But the traitor moves among those within the gates freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.

For the traitor appears no traitor; he speaks in the accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their garments, and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men.

He rots the soul of a nation; he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city; he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist.

A murderer is less to be feared.

      • Actually in 1995 Bill Goates said the internet would not be a thing.

They were still fucking around with Windows 95 and released a half baked version.
Win 95b 2 years later was the one that worked ; but delivered less than half what they were touting in 1993/94.

When Microsoft had to build software itself the result was usually bollocks.
Most of their successful products were purchased as working software.

        e.g. DOS 1.0
MS DOS Ver 4.0 and 6.0 from in-house were crap.
Windows was stolen from a JV with IBM and MS could not get it to work for years.
        SQL Server came from Sybase.
The email was crap for years and loved the Blue screen of death.
WordPerfect was superior to MS Word by a country mile.
M/soft killed that off by giving them the wrong code for development for Win95.
In Europe MS would have been prosecuted and fined heaps.

The real brains in Microsoft was Paul Allen and he got cancer early.
        Goates stiffed him.
Goates shafts anyone who gets in his way.

William Henry Gates III comes from a family of scuzzbuckets and is one of the most evil people in the world today.
He has a track record virtually without exception of making shit products that take over half a decade to start working normally, not even exceptionally.

Why would anyone let this shitlicker near medicine?

  7. After Odaku-sen musings on swear words having a sexual connection to a non sexual situation, I thought about a ‘Bring Back Bugger’ effort..
(I see Maggy is already on board with her comment in the YSB cooking section on curry the other night).

As an expletive, bugger is a level up from ‘strewth’ and a couple up from ‘crikey’ and has a sentimental connection to our parent’s and grandparent’s generation. I am wondering whether government funding could be sought to preserve the word and encourage its useage, before it is lost to our grandchildren and future generations.

Anyway, what I really wanted to say…A Prime Minister, be buggered….she and the other buggers in the bugger’s muddle have buggered the country…she can bugger off.

    16

    • Toko, I have enjoyed your & Odaku-sen’s musings.
Tthose words are natural, and though self censored for some generations, need to be liberated to help preserve them.

A good start would sprinkling them through out all replies to officialdom.
You are right, they need preserving & the government should pay a bounty for every time one of those “old tyme” English words are in reply to an official.

Even Hone Harawira is up with the play with “mother fuckers” knowing they have much more natural recognition than his “te reo” 🙂

  8. News item from 2025:

Apparently a Mount Roskill bloke was looking over the fence when he saw his neighbour Mohammed with his wife, burying their daughter up to her neck in their garden. They were about to throw rocks at her head so he called the police & we can say that good Kiwi justice as now practised has prevailed.

He’s been charged with religious intolerance & Islamophobia.

  9. Social Engineering to convince people that taxes are “love”.
The concept is;- Love is unconditional, not to be held responsible or accountable.

Or is it that taxes are legitimatized by government when it really is ;-Taxes are the practice of Government slavery.
Despite claims to the contrary, it is just as difficult to hold it to account, and who is responsible.
Funny that as now all “slave holders” or beneficiaries of slavery are being held to account.

    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/-1-million-day-spend-emergency-housing-disgrace-national

“Crowded motels are becoming hotbeds of dysfunction with families reportedly being forced to raise their children next door to gang members, drug-dealers and criminal activity.

“This is happening on the Government’s watch and it must take responsibility for fixing it.”

When questioned about this by National during Parliament’s Question Time, Woods defended the Government’s track-record on homelessness.

“What we are is a party and a Government that is committed to finally owning up to the fact we have a homelessness problem in this country, that we have a housing crisis and that we are putting the actions into place.”

  16. Poor English writing.
“A complaint about the use of te reo Māori does not raise an issue of harm as envisaged by the standards.” The BSA said…

The first problem for me as a translator is the meaning (in this context) of the phrase “use of te reo Māori”
    Does the writer mean:
    a) The use of English but with some Te Reo words for which no English equivalent exists? (i.e., the appropriate use of loan-words)
    b) The use of English but with some Te Reo words for which common English equivalents exist? (Quite common among the woke.)
    c) The use of Te Reo as the main language, supported by some English words if the terms don’t exist in Te Reo?
    d) The exclusive use of Te Reo (without any English)?

The writer has an idea of what “use of Te Reo” means, but hasn’t communicated it in her writing. (The writer is likely to be woke, irritated and female.)

    To nitpick:
    1. English doesn’t use macrons (“Māori” is Te Reo, “Maori” is English).
    2. Names of languages are capitalized in English writing, so “te reo” should be “Te Reo” in formal English.

    12

    0

    • Odaku-sen

I take it that if you were to translate a written ‘Maori’ word into Japanese, you would be translating an English Maori word rather than the te reo one.

I would imagine a te reo word written in Japanese characters with all the macrons, would look pretty damn funny.

But Japanese like English doesn’t use macrons you will say….aha got you,,,what about Japanese te reo?..mind boggling stuff you have started here O.s

      6

      0

      • Do you mean a woke English sentence that uses a word like “tamariki” when “child” would do (a sentence talking about children of any race, not exclusively Maori)?
Or do you mean the translation of a sentence of English that contains the term “tamariki” because the context of the sentence is Maori, i.e., a discussion of the abuse and murder of children in South Auckland)?

The way I would translate the two sentences would differ, depending on the underlying intention of the writers choice of words.
Translation is a dark art at times…

If the text referred to “children” in general, then I would translate “tamariki” as 子供 (child or children). If the text was about Maori children in a Maori social context, then I would translate “tamariki” as タマリキ (ta-ma-ri-ki) using phonetic katakana characters (for a loan word). I would then add a footnote to the translation discussing the meaning of タマリキ in this context.

        8

        0

    • You know far more about language and my language, English, than I.

My preference, instead of using the term “te reo Maori “, would be to write instead “Maori language” as that would be better word usage in my view if writing in English. The sentence was primarily in English and was referring to a language.

      1

  17. I don’t think the BSA is the body to give a response to the indoctrination question.
Yesterday I posed the question what does ‘official ‘ mean as far as language use means.
I don’t believe it means that English , as the common language , should be continually challenged by using terms from another language to try and affect change .
I believe that ‘official’ is more recognition that it could be used in some communications where it is appropriate and meaningful.
It does NOT mean that it is used as a means to push an agenda on to the general population.
It is being used by the politicians and elite Moori to say ‘we are in charge’ look out if you don’t take notice.

The complaints to the BSA are indicative of a restless and infuriated ,frustrated middle New Zealanders who are watching the slow destruction of our once great society.
Where does one go to complain as the politicians don’t represent the people any more.?

    14

    • I would argue that Te Reo should be spoken as Te Reo.
To chop Te Reo up into pieces and to sprinkle these into English to add “wokeness” and flavor to the target language is nothing more than a corruption and degradation of Te Reo.
It’s like that annoying habit of trendy Japanese TV celebrities to add English terms when perfectly good Japanese ones exist. (I have heard the English like to add a little French for flavor as well…)

      10

      0

    • My take on the use of “official language” is that a fluent speaker of that language (be it sign language or Te Reo) would have the theoretical legal right to use that language in communication with public entities such as local councils, government departments, the courts, the education system, etc., and that said entities would not legally be able to refuse to communicate solely on the grounds of “we only speak English, so there!”
(Said entities could refuse to communicate in Te Reo on the basis that: a) they had no competency in the language, and b) the other party is a native speaker of English and is being vexatious.)

  19. National Party wants greater access to medicinal cannabis

The National Party’s deputy leader and health spokesperson has a bill before Parliament this week which aims to make medicinal cannabis more affordable and accessible.
    https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/political/438044/national-party-wants-greater-access-to-medicinal-cannabis

Dr Shane Reti said the bill has three key points: that cannabis with low THC can be obtained over the counter, it improves the MedSafe consenting process and the prescribing regime would be pharmacy dispensing such as in the US.

Dr Reti said the bill also addresses some issues under the current regime, such as tightening up the eligibility of who can manufacture medicinal cannabis.

    5

    0

    • On first read I thought that the servants of the Vatican have flip-flopped again.

I now see that by tightening up on the rules of who can manufacture medicinal cannabis to limit the activity to pygmy, one-legged deaf mutes native to Mars they will ensure that human suffering is kept to levels predetermined by His Holiness.

      • I’d at least like the choice for those with illnesses to try prescription available med cannabis. Does it alleviate symptoms? Might be more effective for some ailments than harsher chemical drugs? Who knows unless it is made available.

I agree with National the gangs, or those with convictions should be kept away from this potential cash bonanza.

        • Largely agree but since medical marijuana is a product with all of the high inducing THC removed from it a prescription is probably overkill. That aside I have zero trust in National not to have an ulterior motive behind this new legislation that will never pass the House.

As a political party that ceded the 2020 election to devote its time to killing support for legal marijuana in the poll & watering down the end of life legislation to the useless pap it now is I will never support nor have any faith in National for so long as my arse points to the ground.

It’s bad enough when politicians are cucks. But when monarchs cuck, there is no longer any need for monarchy.”

She was pissed off her son wasn’t eligible to be a “prince” as royal protocol stated he was too far removed down the line from the crown. Nothing to do with his “colour”. And Megan and Harry were told they and her son were not eligible for the British government to pay for their security when they chose to depart from their royal duties for Canada/US.
Whaaaaaaaaaa. She is attention seeking and out to bring down the British monarchy.

David Lange, when speaking about the preposterous proposition that Queen Victoria, the head of the most powerful empire in the world at that time, entered into a partnership arrangement with northern Maori chiefs for the governance of NZ…said, “she was not that kind of lady”.

I would like to think that QEII was not that sort of lady to kowtow to such a pathetic allegation in such a mealy mouthed, woke sort of way.

    • Simple, should have just named the poor kid, “Prince”.
It is nothing to do with the royal family.

When Michael Jackson wanted some royalty as off spring it was simple.
Just named him Prince Michael ‘Blanket’ Jackson II
      https://www.scmp.com/magazines/style/celebrity/article/3075077/5-things-you-may-not-know-about-michael-jacksons-youngest

When Prince Michael Jackson II had enough of it and changed his name, then the other brother Michael Joseph Jackson Jnr “usurped” the name “Prince”. 🙂

So it really is just Ginger & Whinge, seeking “victimhood”, and not sorting themselves out.
Upon birth, their Archie was entitled to the title of earl or lord — and eventually he will be able to inherit Harry’s title, Duke of Sussex.

  20. Fifty years ago there was an imminent danger of New York being buried by ice as the new ice age was upon us according to “experts” at the time, I remember the scary headlines quite well.
Now watch this new video from Tony Heller:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfUSQXwM0sw

Then look at this utter drivel I just received from the Climate Change Commission:
“The Climate Change Commission bases its assessment of the causes and impacts of climate change on established peer-reviewed scientific literature, and the consensus of the world’s scientific community.
A key part of the establishment of scientific knowledge and any scientific consensus is the continual testing, refining or rejecting of hypotheses and theories based on new data and information. Indeed, this is a key strength of the IPCC process, where conclusions and scientific understanding are continually updated as new evidence is reviewed and incorporated, and the uncertainty around the conclusions is refined accordingly.
On the basis of this process, the consensus of the world’s climate scientists is that the earth is warming and humans are primarily responsible. For a range of statements of that scientific agreement, see https://climate.nasa.gov/scientific-consensus/.

The Commission is satisfied that the body of evidence of human-driven increases in global energy content is clear and unequivocal.
    Ngā mihi

Is it worth putting in a public submission to the CCC before the cut off date at the end of the month do you think?

    • “The Commission is satisfied that the body of evidence of human-driven increases in global energy content is clear and unequivocal.”

Of course it is. The jobs of the commissioners depend on it!

    • I understand your frustration Alice and why you might be questioning putting in a submission. The submission would be worthwhile, if only because it will stop the CCC saying there was no dissenting views. Include Tony Heller’s video –it will get them angry, if nothing else.
Another suggestion –if they are promoting more use of electricity (EVs and no more gas in residential premises etc. etc. ) just ask them where the nuclear power plant will be built and when will construction start.

      • The Climate Change Commission members should be required to put up a personal bond equivalent to the amount of money they will be paid for their time on the Commission.
If it turns out that human-driven increases in global energy content is NOT responsible for climate change then each of the Commissioners would forfeit their bond.

Put your money where your mouth is! (Watch them run for cover.)
No New Zealand official will ever take responsibility for their actions. It’s part of Kiwi culture! (Remind me again how many officials lost their jobs over Cave Creek.)

      • Good point. I am putting in such a submission despite their assertion of the first ever and possibly only scientific consensus ever being reached. I have been reading the material. I am not hopeful contrary submissions will be taken heed of but they cannot be allowed to get away without some kickback.

      • Yep. Frontline workers, politicians both national and local (since they think are so indispensable), sports people (since they need to travel international events), special needs people (umm special K), older people, indigenous people (since they have such bad statistics), academics and teachers (since education is so important), Labour Party members, Jacindaphiles and Karens, then after every one of that lot are all done, I will line up.

  22. Dear oh dear Seymour.

‘Jacinda, I’m here’ – David Seymour announces raft of recommendations for Government’s Covid-19 response
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/jacinda-im-here-david-seymour-announces-raft-recommendations-governments-covid-19-response?auto=6238397310001

One of ACT’s recommendations includes making the Covid-19 Tracer app compulsory everywhere in New Zealand.

“It’s compulsory for businesses to display QR codes, but no-one’s required to actually scan them, how crazy is that?” Seymour said.

Another suggestion from ACT was for the Government to implement Baker’s traffic light system.

  23. Laura Bassett is an American journalist. She is a former Senior Culture & Politics Reporter at The Huffington Post and now writes for GQ.
    She tweeted today,
“Huffpost employees, after a year of working through a pandemic that isn’t over, were invited to a meeting today with the password “spring is here, “where they were told 47 of them would be laid off. They would only know if they still had a job if they didn’t receive an email by 1.”

She added, in a second tweet,
“That is cruel and psychotic and ridiculous”.

A response from a member of the public to this was:

“Cruel and psychotic”? That is the left defined.
Welcome to the knowledge of your own stench.

  24. Every time Willie Jackson opens his mouth to flap his gums about how Maori have been done wrong all he does is to confirm that he is an idiot.

Maori I know are really pissed off with him as his main goal is looking after number one.

He does not give a toss unless there is something in it for him.

  26. A balanced response to COVID-19
International health data and experience is showing that New Zealand’s goal of elimination of Sars-Cov2 and use of lockdowns is unnecessary, and even more harmful than the problem we’re trying to solve.
Plan B represents the knowledge, perspectives and questions of the multi-disciplinary group of expert and passionate people that set it up in April 2020, on how and why New Zealand should modify its response to COVID-19.
This is a record of our stand against the Government and medical advisors who tried to eliminate the virus using lockdowns and other social control measures, while waiting for vaccines.
COVID-19 Science and Policy Symposium Webinar
We are hosting an international Covid-19 Symposium on Friday 12 February, from 7.30pm GMT (8.30am, Sat 13 February NZ time). See here for details.

  27. Has this been posted yet? What demands will Pfizer make of New Zealand and how easily will the mad cow give in?

Pfizer is demanding countries put up sovereign assets, including bank reserves, military bases and embassy buildings, as collateral for expected vaccine injury lawsuits resulting from its COVID-19 inoculation.
Argentina and Brazil have rejected Pfizer’s demands. According to legal experts, Pfizer is abusing its power.

    • Yes. Still worth repeating.
Some one has to ask either Hipkins or Ardern about what was traded?
      What indemnities?
      What was agreed?
An official information inquiry to find out what the NZ Pfizer’s deal actually is.

Can this pop up in a question in Parliament?
Will a journalist put it to one of them?
Can it be bought up on talk back radio?
      Spread this to other blogs?
Of course, great to see it bought up again.
