          We still get healthcare in aussie, i think the arrangement is fine and nz should adopt the same policy for any foreigner that wishes to immigrate to nz, it would free us of alot of burdens esp the pasifika sponges.

          • It is fairly obvious what the problem is if you engage your mind.
            Many of those sent home have lived their lives in Aussie since a very young age.
            Some indeed only passed through here on their families way to Aussie. So they have been a part of that community for most of their lives which means they educated them and trained them in their way of life.
            How can we as Kiwi’s be responsible for the shit job the Aussies did of raising kids in their village?

            The older ones not so much bit its clear that they expanded their bad behaviour over there. again hardly our fault.
            Unfortunately all the bleeding hearts will lend them another tit and Andrew will let them free to terrorize the rest of us.

        Also notable was that Andrew Bolt drew a very careful distinction between us as New Zealanders and our depraved ‘government’. Good on him. I would tend towards a similar differentiation between ordinary Chinese people and their dictatorial rulers.

      • Andrew Bolt is giving us a hard message. We do have an elected government and we have to accept that. The response from me to Andrew Bolt is that I am embarrassed by stupid statement by Ministers O’Connor and Mahuta. Both are supposedly experienced but appear to have learnt nothing. Both make me cringe at the nonsense dropped on international media on our behalf.

        I do not accept this poor behaviour towards a key and long-standing ally. We do need Australia and we need political leadership that will standup to the oppression China is projecting. We are small, and while we have to accept that our influence is slight in international matters, we still need to retain our integrity.

        Tossing Australia aside is not supported by me. Our governments failure of ethics, courage and of integrity is embarrassing.

      • I’ve been absolutely amazed by the high rate of vaccination in Israel and (if reports are correct) the moves afoot by the authorities to curb their citizens’ basic human rights with a vaccine passport.

        I really thought that Israel was a bastion of democracy and freedom . I’ve been there and the people seem to be generally well educated too. So how come they’re allowing themselves to be treated like sheep all of a sudden? It doesn’t make sense.

        • As an individual taking a lifetime cautious approach to debt and managing it, I am not OK with the level of debt generated by trivia. For example, placing the supposed “homeless” in motels and cranking through a horrendous amount of “accommodation supplement, with eye watering debt levels being generated, is not responsible government management at all in my observation.

          How the “homeless numbers have ballooned is not readily understood, apart from the immigration flood, perhaps tsunami is a better word, and the bad behaviour from the accommodated has left a disgraceful legacy of debt and inner city crime that soothing political words will not reduce or correct.

          Record my dissatisfaction with the Ministers handling of debt. I do not have confidence he understands the task. Not sure the PM connects the dots either.

    …. Pfizer Vaccine is not FDA approved. It has only Emergency Use Authorisation in the USA. ….

      Its time we abandon this crap, its just another day and if ppl want a break then take it off and if not then work it. Get rid of public holidays along with time and a half day in lieu crap and just have extra annual leave.
      Its bullshit to be forced to close your business or pay penalty wage rates to open on set days of the year, even as an employee i hated being dictated when i took days off lije public holidays.
      When i was an employer if my wife and i didnt put our workers off and cover them ourselves (which would leave us understaffed) we made a loss every public holiday and due to the nature of the job (dairy farming/contract milking) we didnt have the option of simply shutting up for the day/weekend as its a 24/7 365 operation.
