  1. Cancel culture is alive and thriving ,it appears two shows I have been watching for years have been deplatformed overnight ” The Duran” and a newer show which is an offshoot of the Duran “Alex Christoforou” .
these people were not partisan hacks but made the mistake of ridiculing the ridiculous Dr Jills attempt at speaking Spanish to a huge crowd of 11 people on monday , Im hoping its a temporary ban or big tech have “made a mistake” as I found them to be very informative shows with zero political bias..

  2. This quote relating to ‘anti-Covid vaccine usage’ might be of interest, and appears in the latest NZ-Government issued ‘SuperSeniors’ newsletter

Note the ‘kindness-related’ wording of the opening sentence, which wording is why I’ve posted the quoted paragraphs here ‘just in case’ the ‘really-truly oh-so-caring’ CoL decides to ‘change it’s mind’ without telling anyone (as they have been known to do before)…

‘The big picture is that everyone will be offered the vaccine – free of charge. We are lucky that we can roll out the vaccination programme in a fashion that means we continue to protect every New Zealander without the experience of those life and death situations that so many other countries are facing.

Getting vaccinated is about more than just protecting ourselves – it’s about our loved ones, those at the highest risk, our economy, and ultimately our way of life.

Although the roll-out of the vaccine is a major step forward, we still need to remain vigilant. We need to continue to keep track of where we have been, whether that is through a QR code or just noting it down somewhere, like the free COVID tracer booklet. Remember to wash your hands, cough and sneeze into your elbow, and stay home if you’re sick’ (1)

    • TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

      I’m worried.

I once knew a guy called Mr Flu. He used to come around and show his face every winter and kill thousands but all of a sudden he has disappeared and is now nowhere to be seen.

Whenever I ask where he’s gone all the Covid sheep attack me and tell me to shut up but honestly, I’m starting to get a little worried now. If you know anything about his whereabouts then please contact me.

      Kind regards,

      BG Rissole

      • If New Zealand sees 500 flu deaths in a normal year, then what is happening this time? Are the 500 staying alive? Are they dying of something else?
Are these would-have-died-in-a-normal-year elderly accumulating like forest fuel, only to result in a huge “die-back” when things return to normal?
How would the government react to a bad flu year that kills off 3-years’-worth of accumulated elderly? Lockdowns again?
People forget that dying is part of a natural process.

    • What it doesn’t say is that you cannot be MADE to have the vaccine. For some people pre-exisiting conditions make it more dangerous to have that not to have. Sue Gray made this point in her recent video, and the vaccine Safety Data Sheet has a long list of cautions, many of which will affect those of us over a certain age.
IMO it is disingenuous for the health authorities to be so openly suggesting the vaccine will be safe for all, and not alerting people to the risks. My wife has a hidden immune-compromising condition that has led to our doctor telling her she must not have the vaccine.

  3. Personally I would far rather the money went into bowel cancer testing and this was more readily available for the whole country, Vaccines are just a pathetic ‘frightening the masses’ show of the government. Follow the money and you will find that Bill Gates has made billions from this ploy to keep us all in our places and the ptpm is part of this dreadful new way of life.

  4. Northland is full of ferals. Paihia has unfortunately always had a bad element and frequent crime against tourists, or otherwise. Now it appears they’ve brought the ferals out of the hills and put them in tourist accommodation. Crime is up, no police, and locals are going to have to patrol themselves. FS, what sort of ghetto is this country turning into? What happens when tourists come back?

More police please: Packed Paihia meeting calls for more officers in Bay of Islands

Re: ‘What happens when tourists come back’: They (the tourists) WON’T come back, because Tour operators are no fools, don’t need the adverse publicity, and when Lonely planet and their ilk put the word around, even the most-hardened ‘freelance’ travellers / backpackers will avoid the area..

And the a result? The area will fall even further behind.

That the local iwi can’t even agree amongst themselves certainly doesn’t help…

    • “Northland is full of ferals”… the whole country is mate its not just a northland problem. Gangs and homelessness are about the only things in nz experiencing exponential growth!!!

I really dont know why we give scum benefits and attempt to house them, just cut them off and let them live like true ferals. Maybe a law change to legalise lethal force for protecting yourself and your property from them.

  5. I stayed in the Paihia Pacific last year, thankfully for only one night. The place was full of trash that looked remarkably like gang members who didn’t seem to sleep. Nobody in their right mind would go out late at night. The whole town seemed to be full of beneficiaries living in motels. It’s a real shame, Paihia used to be such a great place for a winter break. Thanks for fixing that homeless problem Cindy.

There seems to be a good life for these snake oil salesmen, as they seem to gain enough supporters, then able to enforce & control us all to skim us for their enriched life style.

What does NZ’s climate commission make of this?
Then all the political representatives at maybe different levels, go along with this, to impose costs onto their constituents.

No direct responsibility to be sheeted home to them, and no accountability.
Just like all government departments, commissioners, etc.. and such, that are given tyrannical powers.

So why do so many of the people keep believing false prophets?

  8. Judith Collins vows not to’play politics’ if Covid 19 creeps into New Zealand through Trans- Tasman bubble. But I bet the same can’t be said for Jacinda Ardern our Prime Minister as she has played Politics with Covid-19 since day one of the pandemic arriving on our shores . Jacinda Ardern will blame the previous Government at the first chance of anything going wrong just like she has for the last three and a half years.

  9. If the government’s obsession with “health & safety” require warning labels for wine bottles, then surely the motels that house MSD clients ought to have a warning sign placed out in front to warn the public of the associated risks.
After all, in front of every farm gate there is a sign notifying the public that this is a hazardous zone with risks to health.

    Why the lack of consistency?

  10. LOL. Excellent Mike! “she doesn’t add anything when she is here”

Mike Hosking says he doesn’t want PM Jacinda Ardern back on radio show after interview
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2021/04/mike-hosking-says-he-doesn-t-want-pm-jacinda-ardern-back-on-radio-show-after-interview.html

On Wednesday, the Newstalk ZB breakfast host interviewed Jacinda Ardern for the first time since she cancelled her weekly slot.

“I don’t want her back. She’s made her call and she can live with it. The management and production side argued she should come back on a periodic basis based on the fact that when there is a big deal, a big headline, big news, that we get her back on.

The broadcaster said Ardern doesn’t want to be on the show and “doesn’t add anything” when she is.

“Did she answer the questions to your satisfaction? Did we raise some reasonable salient points? Did we demand some accountability and not get any yet again?”

“So the overarching question I would ask is are we not better on this programme, you and I collectively, not having her on the show? She didn’t want to be here, she doesn’t add anything when she is here so who is the winner and who is the loser?”

  12. Thank you again for signing ACT’s petition to reverse the Government’s proposed interest deductibility changes. Every signature adds weight to our campaign. Nearly 13,000 Kiwis have now signed.

A quick update from Parliament. Yesterday, Revenue Minister David Parker told us that the Government had announced its intention to remove interest deductibility without knowing how many taxpayers it would affect or how much revenue it would raise.

You can watch the video here or below. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=274661037567615

This is panicked, poor-quality lawmaking. New Zealanders deserve higher standards from its Parliament.

ACT believes that rather than blaming Mum and Dad investors with divisive language, our Government should be uniting New Zealanders behind good ideas to solve our housing crisis, like those found in ACT’s plan.

If you can spare two minutes, please forward this email to other people who may wish to support our petition.

If you’re able to help us run campaigns like this one and reach more New Zealanders with our message, you can do so below.

  13. Background to sanitised mental health report.

Judith Collins slams edited mental health statistics as ‘deceitful’ and ‘extremely cruel’
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/judith-collins-slams-edited-mental-health-statistics-deceitful-and-extremely-cruel?auto=6246911190001

It comes after Stuff revealed many indicators usually included in a routine annual report of the Government’s mental health services had been removed after a months-long and contentious editing process revealed in an Official Information Act request, including wait-times, suicide stats and the overall proportion of the population using specialised mental health services.

“There was clearly an argument going on within the top echelons, the Ministry of Health, about whether or not some statistics should be reported on, such as suicide statistics and wait times, because they were apparently negative.

  18. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has lifted its global growth forecasts and now expects the economic growth of the six per cent for 2021 – the biggest boom since 1980.

In an optimistic new report the IMF said the path out of the pandemic was increasingly clear.

It upgraded its forecast for 2021 to 6 per cent from 5.5 per cent and its forecast for 2022 to 4.4 per cent from 4.2 per cent.

The rebound follows a global contraction of 3.3 per cent – the worst ever excluding times of world war.

In advanced economies, pent-up demand would drive growth based on savings from 2020, as vulnerable people get vaccinated and contact-intensive industries resumed, the IMF said.

To some extent this reflects the more rapid slump and rebound New Zealand experienced in the second and third quarter of last year due its success in eliminating Covid-19.

Most economists now expect the New Zealand economy to track side ways through with modest growth later this year and next.

        0

        • It would seem that we are not on the good side of the Tytler cycle or as there are similiar circles of fate,
          .
“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government.
It can only exist until the majority discovers it can vote itself largess out of the public treasury.
After that, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits with the result the democracy collapses because of the loose fiscal policy ensuing, always to be followed by a dictatorship, then a monarchy”

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Fraser_Tytler,_Lord_Woodhouselee
          .
Further development and versions of “tyrannies of democracy” were looked at with :- one of his views being:-
          .
Tocqueville compared a potentially despotic democratic government to a protective parent who wants to keep its citizens (children) as “perpetual children” and which does not break men’s wills, but rather guides it and presides over people in the same way as a shepherd looking after a “flock of timid animals”.
          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexis_de_Tocqueville

So that is why we seem to have a “podiumcracy” which will eventually get the “wobbles” on the high wire, and then transform, or be superseded.
          .
So that with a knowledge of history helps see that democracy is “high wire act” and on a loose wire at that too.
          .
‘Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe.
No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise.
Indeed it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.…’

          Winston S Churchill, 11 November 1947
          .
Some parts of the cycle seem to move faster than I quite like, but then can it be slowed, or does it suddenly jump?
          .
All lightly done as through wikipedia, but still interesting and contrasting points about the issues of democracy.

It is understood they were unaware of the seriousness of the incident until contacted by a member of Moata’ane’s family the weekend prior. …..

The police did not seem to see that attack as a major issue?

In Hamburg, doctors gave information into a Central Health Passport Archive (circa 1934), under something called the ‘Health-Related Total Observation of Life’. This file was to contain reports from doctors, but also courts, insurance companies, sports clubs, the Hitler Youth, the military, the labor service, colleges, etc. Any institution that gave information would get information back in return. In 1940, the Reich Interior Ministry tried to impose a Hamburg-style system on the whole Reich.

    • Interesting fact that although Nazi Germany was vilified for its policies on eugenics they were only copying the USA actions of the time.

……”After the eugenics movement was well established in the United States, it was spread to Germany. California eugenicists began producing literature promoting eugenics and sterilization and sending it overseas to German scientists and medical professionals.[3] By 1933, California had subjected more people to forceful sterilization than all other U.S. states combined. The forced sterilization program engineered by the Nazis was partly inspired by California’s.[4]

The Rockefeller Foundation helped develop and fund various German eugenics programs, including the one that Josef Mengele worked in before he went to Auschwitz.[3][5]

Upon returning from Germany in 1934, where more than 5,000 people per month were being forcibly sterilized……”…….

  29. Valneva’s COVID-19 shot set for Phase Three trial this month

The French drugmaker, whose shot uses the technology behind its licensed Japanese encephalitis vaccine, tested its vaccine in 153 adults with three dose levels based on a schedule of two doses with vaccinations three weeks apart.

The vaccine, Valneva said, was “generally safe and well tolerated across all dose groups tested, with no safety concerns identified by an independent Data Safety Monitoring Board”.

Valneva said the vaccine, for which the U.S. company Dynavax supplies an adjuvant, was also “highly immunogenic”, with “more than 90% of all study participants” developing significant levels of antibodies to the coronavirus spike protein.

  30. Another cindy fuck up.

The apple industry is pleading for help as thousands of tonnes of fruit go to waste, devastating growers.

Due to a severe labour shortage, huge volumes of apples have been left on trees this season and the industry is predicting losses of more than $600 million to provincial economies.

Small orchardist and exporter Bruce Mitchell’s family has been in the industry for more than 50 years.

This season he left six blocks of royal gala apples on the trees due to a lack of pickers.

      • Obviously something will happen with how money has been put into circulation, with no productivity gain.
Money is a commodity for some.
Just how that will work out, can be so messed around with governmental decrees, taxes, hair cut versions of rationing etc.. interest rates, shortages, over supply, and then a mix, as markets will be pushed by around, demand supply.

I struggle to understand it, but know it can be very ruinous if you are caught on the wrong side of the elephants.

I know I had seen that too? What’s everyone freaking out about

Then from another prophetic guy, sometimes right, but not always.
It will have an effect, housing, rents, food, land, transport,

The Federal Reserve has trapped themselves; either they raise interest rates and bankrupt the Treasury, or they don’t raise rates, let inflation spiral out of control, and bankrupt the American people, said Peter Schiff, chief market strategist at Euro Pacific Asset Management.

“How does [the Fed] fight that inflation without bankrupting the U.S. government? The answer is it can’t. My thinking is, if it can’t fight inflation without bankrupting the U.S. government, it won’t fight the inflation, which means it bankrupts the public because it destroys the value of the dollar,” Schiff said.

The price of Carbon? another joker or clown in the pack, also be in the system?

I recall back many years ago the alarm during the Reagan years, when he lowered taxes, but the Congress would not cut any spending, and so the deficit then rose to what was called considerable heights to some consternation.

I recall the years of inflation back in the 1980’s and the interest going from the nice 3-4%, picking up to 12-15% then soaring out for some to well over 20% plus some if considered risky, paying 35%.
        A treadmill at the time.
How it will show this time round, as it seems something is waiting to be the final catalyst.
Controllable? Ruinous? Governments always do best out of inflation, as they have the most borrowed.

    • Testing testing more testing, more Covid.

…. It was found to be only 79 per cent accurate at rooting out positive cases on average when the test was given by lab scientists.
This dropped to 73 per cent accurate when used by doctors and nurses, and barely 60 per cent accurate when people tested themselves.
Innova did not dispute these results, but said appropriate training in how to administer the tests improved their performance. ….

…… ‘When the prevalence rate of coronavirus falls as low as it is at the moment then an increasing proportion of cases are likely to be false positives meaning that cases and contacts will self isolate unnecessarily.’….
…. mass testing was ‘going to do more harm than good’, ….
…. ‘It is now obvious that in an environment of low prevalence, mass asymptomatic testing makes false positives a real issue.’…..

Creating more fear, and now to demoralize the public.
