Actually not so funny, especially if, by birth, the individual’s ‘Culture’ is not that of their skin colour!!

Rest assured that this is not an uncommon situation in NZ and can result in major ‘identity’ problems for the individuals concerned.

Not sure what happened there – the ‘programme’ removed most of my post…

          To continue…

These problems mostly arise when the individual-concerned, when seeking their ethnic roots, tries to join the ‘culture’ of said group, only to find that that culture is so far different from the one they were born-into and raised-within, that, try as they may, they can (and will) never fit in.

In some instances, the term ‘Culture Shock’ is very relevant.

Observation suggests that while eventually (and reluctantly), such people return to their ‘nurturing’ culture and try to (usually successfully BTW) become comfortable within it, the ‘other’ culture never really leaves and will reassert it’s influence and in most unexpected ways. The ‘Desire to join’ is ALWAYS there and will remain-so for as long as they live.

    • Kea, as you know, the probability of death by coronavirus in a normal person under the age of 50 is very low.
Ref: https://toyokeizai.net/sp/visual/tko/covid19/en.html See chart “Tested Positive by Age” (right side, 3rd down).

Looking at the 40s age group (and these people ALL tested positive for the virus). Of the 67,001 cases (positives) in the 40s segment, only 66 died. We do not know what co-mobidities these 66 presented with. This group would include those aged up to 49 years. Smoking is common in Japan, so a 49-year-old male smoker could have been puffing away for about 30 years. Not good for the lungs.

Note the 20s segment. Of the 102,315 cases ( ALL tested positive for the virus) only 3 cases resulted in death and 0 cases resulted in “serious” illness. What does that tell you?

  1. Bidens latest presser about gun control was an absolute train wreck, surely they can’t let this continue.
As they walked out into the rose garden Joey very nearly tripped KAMALTOE Harris up by suddenly cutting in front of her,it makes you wonder what World leaders make of all this ?
should we ask horseface what she thinks?

Re: ‘But do we really need to get there?’

If you view ‘civil war’ as being something which causes chaos and from which the Macro-Billionaires, multinationals etc. will profit, then there is actually nothing wrong with it, and if some of the ‘little people’ get killed, so what. Armaments make money and are ALWAYS profitable.

Viewed from THAT perspective, such conflicts are actually to be ‘encouraged’ – as we are seeing in the US.

  3. SOUTH AUCKLAND NCEA MATHS PROFICIENCY EXAM

    1. John has 2 ounces of dope. If he sells a baggie to Hone for $50 and 2 bullets to Tracey for $25 per bullet, what is the street value of the rest of his stash?

    2. Bubs pimps 3 girls. If the price is $85 per trick, how many tricks per day must each pro turn to support his $800 per day P habit?

    3. Willie gets $200 for a stolen BMW, $150 for stealing a Skyline, and $100 for a 4×4. If he steals 1 BMW, 2 Skylines and 3 4×4’s, how many more Skylines must he have to steal to have $900?

    4. Wiremu got 12 years for murder. He also got $25,000 for the hit. If his defacto wife spends $250 per month, how much money will be left when he gets out? Extra credit bonus: How much more time will he get for killing the pro who spent his money?

    6. If an average can of spray paint covers 2 square metres and the average letter is a quarter of a square metre, how many letters can be sprayed with three 250gram cans of spray paint with 20% paint free?

    7. Henare got 3 girls in the gang pregnant. There are 27 girls in his gang. What is the exact percentage of girls Henare knocked up?

    8. Bernie is a lookout for the gang. Bernie has a pitbull that eats 3 small cats per week at a cost of $15 per cat. If Bernie makes $700 a week as a lookout, how many weeks can he feed the dog on one week’s income?

    9. Billy steals Joe’s skateboard. As Billy skates away at 25 kph, Joe loads his sawnoff shottie. If it takes Joe 15 seconds to load his gun, how far away will Billy be when he gets whacked?

    25

    0

    • I got 7/9

#4 I failed to take into account the time off for assaulting a prison guard.

#9 I was never good at calculus.

Do I get 9/9 if I accuse the teacher of white privilege?

      17

      0

      • Answer to #9, Brig, is never. Even neglecting reaction time from when Billy steals skateboard until Joe starts loading, Billy will be 104m away before Joe can fire. With sawn-off shotty at this range Billy would be unlucky to get hit with a single spent pellet. Unless, of course Joe’s using a slug, and it’s an extremely lucky shot, in which case Billy could be in for a rebore.

    • A good test there nasska. Just have to delegate to get the answers.

      1) Never budgeted in their lives. The police always calculate the “street value”

      2) “Roast busters” are good at figuring that out.

      3) The “fence” will know as he can figure, then there is supply & demand of Skylines will sag, therefore to discount the price paid to Willie.

      4) Wiremu can only be sure of getting his “patch”, that must be defended, even by his life.
Gang social welfare having drugged & boozed the money, will take care of him when he gets out. The gangs never “double patch”.

      5) Dud question, Duhh ๐Ÿ™‚

      6) What really overwhelms the paint can? The artistic sprayer will need to also calculate in how much would be used up in “huffing”.

      7) Another dud question,. Henare may fancy he is a stud, but sloppy 2nds prove otherwise.

      8) The cats are luxury entertainment feed, and after all the pitbull is unregistered, so now it is impounded.

      9) False question, as always loaded. ๐Ÿ™‚ 3 rifle bullets to the back of the head, semi automatic, lying around loaded, as per Denver Chance murder.

  4. I was watching some Indian bloke bleating about closing the border on T.V last night. It got me thinking, this covid crap has been going on for at least a year now. If you can’t find your way back here in that time things can’t be that bad over there, or maybe they just keep going back for holidays knowing they’ll never have to pay for MIQ. The good part about all this is if I go to the pub I now get served by a white barmaid who speaks English and isn’t a dodgy “international student” trying to get citizenship under the “family” reunification or an arranged marriage.

    • From the Herald: “Covid 19 coronavirus: New Zealand’s India travel suspension leaves Kiwi family in limbo”
“Bhandari, a New Zealand citizen, and his wife have been living in India for the past eight years where they have enjoyed the support of their wider family as they raised their son.”

So, Bhandari has a NZ passport, but has been living in India for the past 8 years. I guess he wants to raise his son as a “Kiwi”.
      // (sarc.)

To the Herald, if you have a NZ passport, you are a “Kiwi.” End of story.
What do you think of when you hear the word “Kiwi”?

It’s getting overused these days as everytime Hosking interviews a Labour Twat, I hit it, and everytime a Covid announcement comes on I hit it, and every time the idiot doing the afternoon show before HDPA comes on goes woke, I hit it….. Anyway I did a whole lot of reading around the Vaccine and have decided they can give it to the Lefty Twats first. I am also very keen that feral communities get it first too. Then if the warnings around ADE ( Antibody-dependent enhancement) and Pathogenic Priming do come true we’ll have a much smaller problem in society moving forward.

    • R O L, I’ve been painting my house and came to the area where all the tv ,sky ,fiber cables go into my house on the 2nd floor, wrongly I cut the sky cables and the tv aerial cable to tidy up the look as we use a cell type modem for our net etc I didn’t think we needed them.
We now have zero free to air programming and we all agree to leave it that way, what does that say about NZ TV? the newly installed fast fiber has never worked and spark have given on it and given us the free cell 4g modem ,,,,It’s NZ 2021 , taking you back to the 70s ,thanks Cindy.

  13. I agree. A certified self-contained sticker on a window of a van or station wagon does not make the vehicle ‘self-contained’. It’s a rort that has been going on for years.

    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/proposals-freedom-camping-rules-include-1000-fine-vehicle-confiscation

That included making it mandatory for freedom campersโ€™ vehicles to be certified self-contained or to only be required to be self-contained unless they are staying at a site with toilets, to improve the powers of Government land managers and to strengthen the requirements for self-contained vehicles.

    • I am a NZMCA member so meet all the criteria but would hate to see a person who pulls over for a sleep hit with this. My B.I.L. had this happen to him in Queenstown, been drinking so parked up on the roadside and received a $200 ticket. In the meantime heaps of vehicles were driving around with a blue sticker on them they purchase of the internet.

      9

      0

      • Typical of the ticket nazis. Someone having a Zzzz on the side of the road is not what this law is intended to catch. Surely that is a pure safety issue and taking a break from driving when needed is encouraged. This new law is intended to stop campers shitting in the bushes and leaving human waste to be cleaned up by locals or the council.

        7

        0

    • I looked on in horror as intellectual and moral cripples were conscripted in the war against “freedom” camping.

Basically more cycle lanes, less parking – companies should subsidise hop cards rather than have company cars! All fossil fueled cars should be banned, rail should be everywhere, public transport should be free or heavily susidised. The real question here is, is he sniffing glue or drinking varnish?

    15

    0

  16. All green transport alternatives are predicated on people living in filthy congested cities.

No consideration is given to those productive people in rural and regional locations.

They blather on about the end of the private car, but don’t tell us how a farmer will do the 120km round trip to get groceries. Or how a hunter will get up the Dobson Valley. Or getting to a quiet picnic spot up a local river.

Cities represent the lowest state of humanity. The subhuman parasites infesting them should be better controlled, using reasonably inhumane means. Until such time as they learn some humility and stop being shit people.

    • Sue Gray has been shut down by the system.

It is all to cover up that the “safety trials” do not conclude until 2023.

That trial use is now going ahead on sort of on “emergency” basis, yet the media and academia slide around those points.

    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/manufacturing-companies-question-hike-in-power-prices-theres-just-no-explanation

Data from energy consultancy firm Energy Link shows wholesale power prices are nearly seven times higher than they were a year ago, at $314.44 per megawatt hour (MWh) and have reached as high as $500 (MWh) in the past fortnight.

The soaring prices forced the temporary closure of the Norske Skog paper mill in Kawerau and has led New Zealand Steel to scale down its operations at its site in Glenbrook.

A recent report by the investment brokerage firm Forsyth Barr put the prices rises down to a lack of rain, hydro lake storage falling to its lowest level since 1996 and a shortage of natural gas.

    9

    • Many of us on YSB have had the same thought. National have forgotten their roots and retrained their sights on chasing votes to the left. Their brains have been scrambled by the demanding socialism that has infected the population of our dear country. Last election hubby and I jumped ship to vote Act after a lifetime of voting blue.

      • National have tended socialist since Robert Muldoon’s time. NZ is a socialist country & will not change readily.

What National used to provide was an economic catch-up after a term or two of Labour’s reckless spendups. They were comparatively conservative when it came to finance. This I supported even as a truck driver before I got onto the land. It made sense!

Of late they have abandoned fiscal conservatism & allowed the party to be taken over by evangelical Godbotherers complete with their half baked dreams for social control. I will never vote for such crap & I know of few who think otherwise.
