  1. I have an employee. Hardly turns up for work, steals money,
continually lies, and barely speaks English.
I’d like to sack her, but I can’t. She is the Prime Minister.
Have a great day folks, and let’s be careful out there.

  2. This is a part of the aspect that Sue Grey is making points in her case.
    .
Here is a great spirited and well informed submission to the School Board in Orange County that takes on a serious depth as she proceeds.
She had to speak fast as there was a time limit.

URGENT: OC CA TRYING TO EVADE INFORMED CONSENT OF PARENTS – LEIGH DUNDAS : APRIL 2021
    https://www.bitchute.com/video/kJ9LeMaP0wto/
    3 mins 37 secs. : April 2021
    .
Touched on was the Nuremberg Code, and the formulation of the Kodex.
    .
The ten points of the [Nuremberg] code were given in the section of the judges’ verdict entitled “Permissible Medical Experiments”:
    .
    1) The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential.

INFORMED so that consent is truly voluntary.
    .
    2) The experiment should be such as to yield fruitful results for the good of society, unprocurable by other methods or means of study, and not random and unnecessary in nature.
    .
    3) The experiment should be so designed and based on the results of animal experimentation and a knowledge of the natural history of the disease or other problem under study that the anticipated results will justify the performance of the experiment.
    .
    4) The experiment should be so conducted as to avoid all unnecessary physical and mental suffering and injury.
    .
    5) No experiment should be conducted where there is an a priori reason to believe that death or disabling injury will occur; except, perhaps, in those experiments where the experimental physicians also serve as subjects.
    .
    6) The degree of risk to be taken should never exceed that determined by the humanitarian importance of the problem to be solved by the experiment.
    .
    7) Proper preparations should be made and adequate facilities provided to protect the experimental subject against even remote possibilities of injury, disability, or death.
    .
    8) The experiment should be conducted only by scientifically qualified persons.
The highest degree of skill and care should be required through all stages of the experiment of those who conduct or engage in the experiment.
    .
    9) During the course of the experiment the human subject should be at liberty to bring the experiment to an end if he has reached the physical or mental state where continuation of the experiment seems to him to be impossible.
    .
    10) During the course of the experiment the scientist in charge must be prepared to terminate the experiment at any stage, if he has probable cause to believe, in the exercise of the good faith, superior skill and careful judgment required of him that a continuation of the experiment is likely to result in injury, disability, or death to the experimental subject.

    .
Most noticeable is that no politician should have any part of advocating for this trial, as they have done more than enough by exemptions to compensation, and granting “emergency” application.
    .
I am sure if one goes through point by point, as each point is quite sharp and good, then you can add much more meaning, and questions, and also note where the government is not in compliance, not only in what the ‘podiumicate’, and also by what they omit.

    • This article raises the question about possible, probable points about whether there could be as yet unproven, untested chances of altering DNA, and shows there are some incidents that so far can not be explained.

…Assumptions, …. biological dogma, …. unique and unknown risks, …. research gaps, … may work for the good, but there seems to be no consideration of any down side.

Nor is data of this supposed experiment fully open, so it can be fully discussed and debated, to be considered with the above Kodex. That goes for masks, social distancing and lock-downs.

  3. We need to print money to keep property prices up. Most money is created by mortgage debt.

If Ardern stops handing out debt, then property might be forced to sell at market value. And people who borrowed too much would be in trouble, as would the banks that own those people.

Banks own houses. Slaves own the debt.

    17

    1

    • Arderns stoked, with her house value going up 430k last year shes over the moon that her poor economic decisions, silly rules and landlord bashing has had the desired affect.

      Be kind… to house prices

      27

      0

    • How high could house prices go?
It depends on who the buyers are. If the buyers are the speculators with capital and deep pockets, who are buying on the assumption that property prices only ever go up, then the price of premium houses in Auckland will continue to rise. They become less like houses and more like desirable objects d’ art (pardon my French). Why would you pay millions for a Wahol? Because you know it will be worth more over time and that it is desirable in the eyes of other wealthy people.

If the buyers are ordinary workers, then the amount they can borrow cannot exceed the amount that they can repay over the life of the mortgage. For example, if you and your wife (both working) can afford to pay $100,000 a year for 30 years to pay off your house, then the maximum you can pay (ignoring rising wages and/or interest rate changes) must only be about $2 million. I got these figures from a mortgage calculator. At a mortgage rate of 3% for 30 years, for a mortgage of $2 million, this couple MUST pay $8,432 a month, making an eventual interest total of $1,035,549 PLUS the principle of $2,000,000.

At present, $2 million will buy you a basic 3-bedroom in Auckland with access to some of the better schools. For the pleasure, you and your wife will have to stump up 12 x $8,432 a month = $101,184 a year to service this beast. FOR THIRTY YEARS!!

No wonder you have one or no children!

How can this be good for society? And this is just for a $2 million house. Hardly out of the ordinary. What happens if one of you loses their job or falls ill?

      12

      0

      • When things return to some sort of normality after this plandemic, NZ will be swamped with applications for residency. Cashed up, they will pay whatever it takes to secure a house. They will have figured out that living down under is preferable to living ‘up there’ in the shitholes of Europe, Americas etc. One million bucks for a piece of land only wont be uncommon.

        11

        0

        • If you think that things ANYWHERE in the world will EVER return to any sort of normality (let alone in NZ), then I have a beautiful new bridge to sell you.

Things will only get worse. This time next year New Zealand will be a totalitarian police state and its population will be living in a virtual prison camp as the digital age closes in on every one of our freedoms. Forget the clampdown on international travel – that’s been a forgone conclusion for over a year by already – now we are looking at needing a digital ID just to be allowed to go to the shopping centre.

          12

          0

          • International travel creates jobs and brings in foreign currency. What government would want to give that up?
Think how much the NZ economy has lost due to the shutting down of tourism and the international student trade (backdoor residence). At least the tourists go home and leave some of their money behind. The new residents (working at the liquor store or driving taxis) would remit a lot of their earnings back to the Old Country before eventually seeking to bring their aged parents out to Auckland on (um) “compassionate grounds.”

            (Maybe I am being a little harsh…)

What have Cindy and co Stuffed up this time? It’s pointless doing a hit job on Collins and replacing her with the God bothering Uncle Fester, and as long as Muller is an M.P I won’t vote for National anyway.

  6. There were comments here about the co-founder of Black Lives Matter buying a mansion in an exclusive White area in California….here is more to the story:

“As protests broke out across the country in the name of Black Lives Matter, the group’s co-founder went on a real estate-buying binge, snagging four high-end homes for $3.2 million in the US alone, according to property records.

Patrisse Khan-Cullors, 37, also eyed property in the Bahamas at an ultra-exclusive resort where Justin Timberlake and Tiger Woods both have homes, The Post has learned. Luxury apartments and townhouses at the beachfront Albany resort outside Nassau are priced between $5 million and $20 million, according to a local agent”.

I have learned that a person’s actions tell you much more about them that what they proclaim.

Will a Green redistribute the money from her family trust to the poor of South Auckland? Will she marry someone of a different ethnicity? Will she not help her children get that summer internship after talking to the girls at her tennis/golf club? Will she she not help her children to get on the property ladder by guaranteeing their mortgages? Will she expect her children’s households to be within an easy drive so that her children and grandchildren can all come to the family home for Christmas and other holidays?

    Teaching Maths In the 1980’s

A logger sells a truckload of timber for $100. His cost of production is $80. Did he make a profit? Yes or No.

    Teaching Maths In the 1990’s

A logger sells a truckload of timber for $100. His cost of production is $80 & his profit is $20. Your assignment: Underline the number 20.

    Teaching Maths In the 2000’s

A logger cuts down a beautiful forest because he is selfish & inconsiderate & cares nothing for the habitat of animals or the preservation of our wilderness areas. He does this so he can make a profit of $20. What do you think of this way of making a living?

Topic for class participation after answering the question: “How did the birds & opossums feel as the logger cut down their homes?” (There are no wrong answers. Feel free to express your feelings, e.g., anger, anxiety, inadequacy, helplessness, etc.)

    • I’ve just heard this stupid woman (not the SLG, the other one) telling Peter Williams that she “would happily take one (a jab) for the team” and then she went on to say (I paraphrase) that everyone should be jabbed.

Ordinary intelligent hard working freedom loving New Zealanders are absolutely fucked.

      15

      1

      • The average person would far prefer safety over freedom. That’s partially a product of the cotton-wool-wrapped risk-adverse society and education system this country has developed.
With so many people in positions of power who really feel an urge to
        – “right the wrongs of the past,”
        – “achieve equality of outcome,”
        – “not leave any child behind,”
        – “keep people safe,” and
        – “be kind”
then no wonder so many feel the urge to rush out and get “vaccinated” (as well as support compulsory vaccination).

  8. Government putting more beneficiaries into greater debt with loans totaling almost $2 billion.
Figures released to One News under the Official Information Act show almost 560,000 people now owe $ 1.9 billion to the Ministry of Social Development its 50,000 more people than in 2018 when it was $1.5 billion worth of interest free loans, that were handed out for things like School Uniforms, the Dentist, Electricity and car repairs.
Each person owes almost $500 more than 3 years ago with the average loan being $3420.
Green Party spokesperson Ricardo Menendez March said the Crown have the ability to wipe the debt that beneficiaries havens this would have a resetto get people back on their feet with not having to lose $20, $30 or $40 of their weekly income.

    • So the tattooed one says:-
“If they cannot do anything then we’re going to need a new Government that cares,” Mamaia said.

So is that a part of where she sees through the Ardern administration of “non delivery” and those other media articles that some seem to think it is a turning against Ardern.
Is this the way many others who are not happy with Ardern, and want those “entitlements” delivered NOW!

Those other supposed swinging voters, will all have well paid jobs or a money flow linked to government, so more like a doubling down by those academia, bureaucrat, technocrats, believing a bit of Green will spice up Labour for their causes and agendas.
So will it be more Greens in power? with Labour?

a lack of long term thinking”, said Seymour
Just what plan, or policy can counteract this well paid “entitlement” ?

Particularly as the belief in many parts of the world, that MMT Modern Monetary Theory is the way to go, yet can see that a billion trees to plant, a 100,000 kiwi-build houses are all part of the Magic Money Tree MMT a mythological dream land.

So double down and vote, with a bit of KFC etc., so that NZ will do it better,
punch above its weight, and so be a
      world leading progressive state.

Who is going to get the government they deserve in 2 years time?
      The colonizers? or the decolonize-rs?
      Socialists? or the Capitalists

  11. Yeah, yeah… Here we go again with speculation about the Nat leadership. The msm love to manipulate and influence political moves.

Duncan Garner: National leader Judith Collins is a dead woman walking
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2021/04/duncan-garner-national-leader-judith-collins-is-a-dead-woman-walking.html

OPINION: The latest poll for Judith Collins might be the catalyst for MPs to dump her as the National Party leader.

She’s in a world of woe.

Collins should be making mincemeat of Labour and their clumsy attempts to reign in house prices, not to mention the bright-line or capital gains tax they’ve effectively stretched out to 10 years.

Add in their failure to build houses and make inroads into child poverty – no wonder they pray day and night for COVID-19 to continue. Well, they don’t actually – but what a distraction and it’s worked for Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.

Already former ACT party leader Richard Prebble has said Collins should go, as she can’t win.

    • Who can compete against the MMT the Magic Money Tree where unicorns romp around in fields of kindness?
Houses prices remaining high, or higher, as money sloshes around.

Change leader, enough to gain over 50% in an election?
Though it is a truth that I and quite a few others here want pointed out regardless, and a hopeful path for many others to at least consider
Does it matter when only 10% or 20% or 30% or 40% or 49% of the polls?

Despite all the plans, & policies, there is a systemic control & doctrine in practice.
If who ever is pitching correctly, then Cassandra will be eventually be written on the epitaph.
I still want the truth spoke out, as “never never never give in” and so a remnant remains, that perhaps eventually an alternative will be sought.

    • I saw a very recent address by J. Collins in the house in which she really ripped into Ardern and the Government – all very good but didn’t see it reported on in the media, would 100% be certain was not on either of the two Government propaganda channels that I never look at , and the opposing front bench was empty.
Doesn’t matter what she says or what she does, the perception as endorsed by the Media Party never changes.

  13. Latest from Hobsons Pledge.
Segregated voting looms for 19 soft-touch councils
“Since February 1, when referenda on Maori wards were outlawed by the Labour Government, 19 councils have outed themselves as soft touches by considering or resolving to establish segregated voting via Maori wards or constituencies for next year’s local body elections.

They are the Hamilton, Invercargill, Palmerston North, Tauranga, and Wellington City councils, the Horowhenua, Kaipara, New Plymouth, Ruapehu, Gisborne, Whangarei, Taupo, South Taranaki, Waipa, and Whakatane district councils, and the Hawke’s Bay, Horizons (Palmerston North), Northland and Taranaki regional councils.

These councils want to follow Environment Bay of Plenty, the Waikato Regional Council and the Wairoa District council in separate voting although 56 of New Zealand’s 78 local authorities have no plans to go down this path.

Nine of those councils simply ignored the signatures of their ratepayers who petitioned for the right to vote on the matter, which was permitted under the Local Electoral Act 2001 until February 1.

Bearing in mind that signatures collected n New Plymouth are not included, those received compared with those required were:

    Received Required

    Northern Regional Council 8703 6027

    Whangarei District Council 5133 3080

    Kaipara District Council 1376 790

    Tauranga City Council 6000 4742

    Taupo District Council 1756 1241

South Taranaki District Council 903 847

    Ruapehu District Council 551 385

    Gisborne District Council 792 1625

New Plymouth District Council Not available 2874

    TOTAL 25,214 21,611

Mistrusting their constituents, a number of these councils had asked central government to remove the right to petition for referenda.

Hamilton councillors initially voted against Maori wards but after bullying from the local iwi, Waikato-Tainui, according to deputy mayor Geoff Taylor, the council will re-vote the issue on Thursday.

Councils try to justify racially segregated voting on local councils as giving effect to Section 4 of the Local Government Act 2002, guaranteeing a seat “for Maori” at the top table, reflecting the Treaty of Waitangi, and increasing Maori participation in local government.

However, the Local Government Act 2002 does not require Maori wards, Maori representation on local government overall is already proportional to population percentage, and there is absolutely nothing in the Treaty about voting arrangements.

No council proposing Maori wards has ever given voting turnout figures for the three councils with Maori wards because if they did, they would have to show that turnout continues to lag.

For instance, overall turnout in the most recent election at the Bay of Plenty Regional Council, which has had Maori constituencies since 2001, was 43.2 percent, but turnout for Maori roll voters was 35 percent.

The Kohi Maori constituency, where the Maori population is 18,500, returned only 4037 votes; the Mauao constituency, population 19,850, returned 2716 votes; and the Okurei constituency, population 18,300, had only one candidate so there was no vote.

Be aware, the establishment of Maori wards and constituencies in local government is a key goal of the Maori sovereignty movement.

It features on page 46 of He Puapua, which is the guiding document to implement in New Zealand the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples that Maori Party co-leader Pita Sharples signed New Zealand up to in 2010.”

All in line with this report, Released Under the Official Information Act.
This seems to be quietly supported by Nanaia Mahuta who at the moment has come out in support, and so is ratified by the Ardern’s administration that will put in place many more parts of that report.

      • Words all come with cultural assumptions.
The Herald assumes that words can be dropped into English with no regard for the cultural context.
It is fashionable to replace “funeral” with “tangi,” but I don’t think that the two are the same.

Another trend is to substituted “child” with “tamariki” (a child in the care of Oranga Tamariki).
“Child” and “tamariki” are not the same thing. The former generally comes from a loving home with two parents who want the best for their offspring. “Tamariki” in the news are rarely from two-biological-and-married-parent households.

    • Chris Trotter raising up the issues of tikanga maori, of the maori report, He Puapua
Worth a read as it seems that CT does not see this as good way to go.

For some reason this report seems to stay below the radar, and so copies should be sent to ACT.

For a classical liberal party like Act, the idea that a fundamental transformation in the nation’s constitutional, legal, political, economic and cultural arrangements could be contemplated in secret, and enacted piecemeal, without the prior passage of an authorising referendum, piles anathema upon abomination.

Act’s leader, David Seymour, should be demanding from the present Minister of Maori Development a categorical rejection of He Puapua’s “roadmap”.
At the very least he should be seeking a rock-solid commitment from Willie Jackson – and the Prime Minister – that the creation of a bi-cultural state, founded squarely upon the prevailing reading of te Tiriti o Waitangi and the provisions of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, will only proceed on the basis of a two-thirds referendum majority.

Chris Trotter at least wants these issues raised, so that many people will know that stone by stone and quietly, New Zealand’s democratic system is being totally changed to tikanga maori over 40 years.
Even now, you can see the small incremental steps.

Taubenberger was thought to have died around three weeks before his body was discovered, although it wasn’t clear if he died before the trip or during, the Daily Mail reported.

    • What happens if the voters decide that they don’t like the State compelling you to take a vaccine with the reward of everyday services?

It does sound very authoritarian and something that the CCP or other totalitarian state would try to do.

This is a great opportunity for any opposition parties in New Zealand to clearly differentiate themselves from the Ardern regime. Will they let this opportunity slip through their buttery fingers?

Any opposition party has to clearly articulate the dangers of such government authoritarianism. At the moment, all the average Kiwi is hearing from the media is “safety, safety, safety über alles!” The opposition must spell out to people the dangers of what this country could morph into: papers, compulsory ID, tracking, facial recognition, disarming and prohibition on self-defense, etc.

Have we got to the point where the police will say that they are “just following orders”? History, anyone?

  18. More Breaking…

    Colour me surprised..

“The Electoral Commission has referred the Māori Party to the police following its failure in declaring $300,000 in donations.
Donations over $30,000 are under law required to be declared to the Electoral Commission within 10 working days, though three donations made over the course of March and October last year were not declared until recently.
One donation was made on behalf of John Tamihere ($158,000), another from Aotearoa Te Kahu ($120,000) and the third from the National Urban Māori Authority which donated the sum of almost $50,000.
The Electoral Commissions publicly stated the referral was officially made on Friday the 9th of April, though that it would not be making any further comment.”

“No accountability for $1.9 billion mental health spend

The key announcement in 2019’s glossy “Wellbeing Budget” was a massive $1.9 billion spend on mental health services. That’s 1900 million, or $1000 for every household in the country.
Two years later, the Mental Health Foundation says the mental health system is in worse shape than when Labour was elected.
In fact, the Government’s latest annual report on mental health services was delayed by a months-long editing process that removed key figures – including wait times and suicide numbers.
So what on earth do we have to show for the $1.9 billion? Where is the accountability?
    “We told you so”
Responding to the Wellbeing Budget back in 2019, we warned this spending would likely disappear into a black hole. It’s absolutely no pleasure to be proven right.”

“Seventy-two spin doctors in the waka”

New Zealand Transport Agency “Waka Kotahi” now pays 72 spin doctors in its communications team. Annual communications salaries have leapt from $2.2 million to $4.6 million in a single year.
What do all these spin doctors do? Many would have been tied up with the agency’s recent rebrand, from ‘NZ Transport Agency’ to ‘NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi’. It remains unclear how this rebrand helps roads get built. In fact, there’s a reason why we still call it NZTA – if we used ‘Waka Kotahi’, people wouldn’t know what we were talking about!
No doubt the agency’s spin doctors will busy themselves with another rebrand soon when they drop the English part of NZTA’s name entirely. But in the meantime, we looked at the agency’s Youtube channel to where all this communications money is going.
The Transport Agency has posted 90 videos to Youtube this year. That’s about one per day. Most of these videos have received less than 1000 views. In fact, dozens received less than 100.”

“Creative NZ caught handing out money to a crook”
    Mika X

The Herald reports that our, err, “friends” at Creative NZ awarded more than $100,000 in taxpayer-funded grants to entertainer (and former Opportunities Party candidate) Mika X and his associated companies while he was being investigated and charged for trying to sabotage a court case.
It’s simply not credible that Creative NZ did not know about this. The fact Mika X (now convicted) was facing charges was the worst kept secret in both the art and legal communities. Creative NZ are either lying in saying they did not know, or their ivory tower is so out of touch with the arts community they need a clean out.

  20. Travel bubble with Aussies a laf…SkyNewsAU.

TRANS-TASMAN BUBBLE – GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!
“The new Trans-Tasman travel bubble announced by NZ PM Jacinda Ardern is “rubbish” and “worse than nothing”, according to the IPA’s Policy Director Gideon Rozner.
“As far as I understand, it’ll go a little something like this: you can book a holiday to New Zealand, you can pay for a holiday to New Zealand – but if there’s one or two cases in Auckland and Jacinda Ardern decides to shut down half the country again, good luck getting there,” he said.
“Now if you land in New Zealand and there’s an outbreak back at home – well as we all know you’ll have trouble getting home as well.
“If you’re in the air and there’s an outbreak back where you’ve come from then as soon as you land it’s off to mandatory detention – sorry hotel quarantine – for you.
“Even if the planets align and you finally get your holiday to New Zealand the best you can hope for is paying through the nose for a heavily inflated airfare to sit in seat 27F in Air New Zealand economy for hours on end wearing this… dehumanising undignified face nappy.”

New Plymouth District Council pulls support for controversial Remediation NZ compost business
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2021/04/new-plymouth-district-council-pulls-support-for-controversial-remediation-nz-compost-business.html

Langford said more serious environmental concerns had been raised about the site over the past two years and it was clear the expected standards were not being met, which was a major factor behind the council decision to transport food waste to Hampton Downs.

“As kaitiaki, we set high standards for contractors and suppliers when it comes to managing our environmental impact. Because of the serious environmental concerns we have, we no longer support the renewal of Remediation NZ’s consent.”

  22. Moderna Chief Medical Officer Admits mRNA Alters DNA

    At 1:00 in, Zaks states,

“In every cell there’s this thing called messenger RNA or mRNA for short, that transmits the critical information from the DNA in our genes to the protein, which is really the stuff we’re all made out of. This is the critical information that determines what the cell will do. So we think about it as an operating system. …. So if you could actually change that, … if you could introduce a line of code, or change a line of code, it turns out, that has profound implications for everything, from the flu to cancer.”

    • Posted earlier this morning and fits in well here, as there seem to be some hint that things genetically possibly could be changed.

This article raises the question about possible, probable points about whether there could be as yet unproven, untested chances of altering DNA, and shows there are some incidents that so far can not be explained.

  25. Fucking legend.

Vladimir Putin Just Officially Banned Same-Sex Marriage In Russia

With the stroke of a pen, Russian President Vladimir Putin formally enacted a series of anti-LGBTQ+ amendments banning marriage equality and transgender adoptions, and centering “a belief in God” as a core value of the country. The homophobic and transphobic amendments were passed last July in a national referendum, with over 77 percent of voters casting their ballots in support of the measures. According to a report in the AP, the new rules also reset Putin’s term limits as president, meaning he can serve an additional two six-year terms in office.

Personally i find it quite disturbing that employers and employees that are vaccine hesitant be forcefed the govts version of “facts”, i suspect we wont get far into the public vaccine rollout and theyll make it mandatory for every employer in nz along with threats of “restructuring” or ” redeployment”

I feel sorry for those border workers that want to wait a bit or not get a jab at all are going to lose their jobs or get demoted to cleaning toilets.

The long lines of Milan’s ‘new Covid poor’

Some of those standing in line hide their faces with a scarf or even a plastic bag, fearful of being recognised.
Many leave with several packages – one for each member of their family. Inside, there is milk, yoghurt, cheese, biscuits, sugar, tuna, a kiwi, a tiramisu and some bread.
Such sights were rare on the streets of Milan, but across the wealthy north of Italy, more than 720,000 people have fallen below the poverty line in the last year.

The poll results prompted former ACT leader Richard Prebble to speculate over the weekend that National could lose its status as the main Opposition party and be overtaken by ACT

Seymour said he cannot control the views Richard Prebble expresses. But he suggested National has only itself to blame for its failure to pick up in the polls.

“The National Party’s been in power for two out of every three years since the Great Depression so if you think New Zealand needs to do better and hasn’t reached its potential, then it’s difficult to think the National Party might be the solution,” he said.

“Some people might even say that they’ve been the problem.”

True. A party that has served NZ well has been infiltrated by Xtian evangelicals & has squandered its support by following the dictates of an imaginary god.

Easy come, easy go. Though it’s a pity about New Zealand paying the price of their hallucinations.

  30. Or, the virus is in the vaccine.

Study finds COVID variant affects vaccinated individuals more than unvaccinated

The South Africa variant of the coronavirus affects vaccinated individuals more than those who are unvaccinated, according to a new study from Tel Aviv University and Israel’s largest healthcare provider.

The study, which was published Saturday and still requires peer review, looked at 400 individuals who tested positive for the coronavirus despite receiving at least one dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine and compared the prevalence of the South African variant, B.1.351, with the same number of people who have not yet received a vaccination.

“We found a disproportionately higher rate of the South African variant among people vaccinated with a second dose, compared to the unvaccinated group,” said Adi Stern of Tel Aviv University. “This means that the South African variant is able, to some extent, to break through the vaccine’s protection.”

    • I see that the researchers are putting it down to the vaccine not fully protecting against the South African variant.
There is no mention of potential Antibody Dependent Enhancement which, if Mike Yeadon is correct about the slow mutation of the virus, is a more likely reason imo.
