  2. Study: 56% of Liberal Women Under Age 30 Have Been Diagnosed as Mentally Ill

Part of the reason liberals and conservatives disagree about the causes of poverty and wealth is that they disagree about the extent to which personal choices or external forces directs people’s lives. In other words: they disagree about the role of personal agency.

    • I think. I have free will.
      Therefore, I have agency.

To blame others for your failings in life is comforting, as it lessens personal responsibility. While other people (and the rules and conventions of society) may be partially to blame for your situation, it is a defeatist attitude for you to hold that you are somehow a helpless victim.

Being passive is not a good strategy.

  3. COVID-19 Coronavirus: New Zealand donates 1.6 million vaccine doses,Ardern calls for ‘team of 7.8 billion.
She made this announcement at Gavi Covax event this morning NZ time where she was the first world leader to make a pledge in a special video made for the event.
“In New Zealand we have been tackling COVID-19 collectively, as a team of 5 million” she said in a prepared video, now we need to act globally as a team of 7.8 billion.

I have been saying for months this is about Jacinda Ardern and her wannabe Celebrity and Famous ambitions , not about the people or the Country and she will stop at nothing to achieve this goal or status even if this saddles future Generations with debt that will take decades to pay back.

  4. The double standard of Twitter, on just what the “block”, and then what they put into “trending” and their mix of convenient reasoning.

Twitter Promotes Story Using ‘Breached’ Data To Dox Police – After Banning NY Post For ‘Hacked Material’
Twitter’s featured story doxxes low-level police officers who donated small amounts to help colleagues who have garnered the ire of Black Lives Matter, using data breached from charity website GiveSendGo. …

….. Twitter then put it atop its “trending” section, which is manually curated by the site – after it silenced all references to an election-eve New York Post story that was damaging to the Joe Biden campaign, claiming it violated a policy that Twitter will not promote hacked materials.
There is no evidence the Hunter Biden laptop featured in the story was hacked. …..

    https://www.dailywire.com/news/twitter-promotes-breached-data-to-dox-police

Notice the other cases and perspectives of how they reason this.

Also note that hacker system, DDOS, that is connected to 4chan, but it seems its purpose & actions are not the exactly how 4chan is so often media portrayed.

Such hacking systems like DDOS and in its nutty way, supported by the likes of Guardain media, twitter, exposes that a lot of information can be hacked.
That means also official government information on you, and when the media choses by deeming their agenda to be a priority will fully expose you, to create fear & control you.

Can we still keep supporting the cabal of face book, twitter CNN., CBS etc..,
Consider that Biden has their back, so they do not have to answer to any one,
That goes for how the government in New Zealand with its “repeaters” and their agenda.

    10

    0

    • Further about twitter and Guardain is another extension of this hacking is also the doxxing to Kyle Rittenhouse supporters.
This shows that in their eyes that he is guilty now, not innocence until proven guilty.
So Rittenhouse supporters are doxxed and then have to account why to attorney generals, their employers etc…

The Guardian noted that donors attempted to conceal identity by donating with GiveSendGo’s anonymity feature, but identifying details about them were preserved, and they were able.
      https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/548663-data-breach-shows-public-officials-police-have-donated-to-rittenhouse

So it would seem that all information you give can be hacked, and then shown by the rogue media, social media, and they will find ways around laws to do this.
It is bad enough as it is, but even when they know they could be making people lose jobs, or endangering them, & their families and friends.
That is how the government want to run, so it is at an arm’s distance to them, as they encourage stasi set-ups.

      • The latest figures show there are more than 2800 full-time jobs, 2410 part-time jobs and 1689 jobs where officials can’t say if they are full-time or part time.

It adds up to about 7,000 jobs if both full and part-time are put together.

But ACT says the numbers are disappointing because effectively, there are only 2800 full-time jobs.

“We are still paying for it but we haven’t got the jobs that were promised, act said all along that politicians are not going to be able to invest people’s money and create more jobs than the people who had it in the first place could,” ACT leader, David Seymour told 1 NEWS.

  6. Are the top executives of our Health System as stupid as this article portrays.
Letting Andrew Little loose on the Health Portfolio and making changes that will mater to those that need these services is like saying we can’t do any worse. Well look at Andrew Littles resume and it not pretty lost the largest membership in union history on his watch, stood twice in the seat of New Plymouth to reach Parliament and failed, became Labour Party opposition leader and record 30% in any poll while National were the Government, finally gifted the Leadership to Jacinda Ardern who then became Prime Minister with Winston Peter’s help and I could go on and on.
    https://i.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/opinion/300279006/our-health-system-is-under-stress–things-must-change
The only stress the Health system is under is Politicians throwing money at it without addressing the problems first, it about working as a team a giving those with the greatest knowledge a chance to fix it before people like Andrew Little get near it with his communists view.

  7. More feminist logic.

UK. Rape suspects can choose to self-identify as female.

Rape suspects are able to self-identify as female, it was revealed after a freedom of information request by a feminist policy think-tank.
Police Scotland said that if a rape or attempted rape was perpetrated by a “male who self-identifies as a woman . . . the male who self-identifies as a woman would be expected to be recorded as a female on relevant police systems.”

  9. An unheralded figure in the immigration stats released this week was that 120,000 more people left New Zealand than arrived in the last year.

That number will include departing tourists, students and people on working holidays as well as those leaving for jobs overseas. But as Australia and other places accelerate faster than us out of this pandemic we wouldn’t want the view to take hold again that New Zealand is a place you leave in order to succeed.

Over the last decade or so our country has built a reputation as a more vibrant well-connected happening place. We don’t want to lose that.

    • There are three new apartment block opened or going up near Eastridge at the top the ridge looking down on Mission Bay. There’s a block of 10 units at the top of Kepa Road, and two more luxury blocks up in Coates Avenue. Oversupply? Who knows. Maybe Chinese will buy them just to secure their money out of China. It will be interesting to see how many of these units are kept vacant.

Could be a glut. (Who knows.) It sure would be nice if my daughter could buy a 2-bdrm apartment for 4-5 years’ worth of her salary. Then she might move out.

Judge Orders New Election After 78 Percent of Mail-In Ballots Found Invalid, Notary Arrested

The judge ruled that 66 of 84 absentee ballots that were cast in the election, or around 78 percent, should have never been counted, according to WCBI. Nicholas Holliday was declared the winner of the alderman seat by 37 votes, while challenger Robert Devaull contested the results in court.
“The court is of the opinion there is probable cause that several individuals involved in the disturbances during election day at the polling precinct ‘willfully and corruptly violated’ one or more of the above criminal statutes,” according to the judge.

  11. You get what you wish for when in GOVT>

Low lake levels and constrained gas supply have again pushed wholesale electricity prices up, causing some large manufactures to curtail production.

The Norske Skog Tasman Mill has been stopping and starting production since March, and running at reduced capacity.

New Zealand Steel has also had to cut production at a time demand for steel within New Zealand is at a record high.

Electricity providers are watching closely. Transpower, which owns and operates the national electricity grid, is issuing daily security of supply reports and will start holding bi-weekly industry briefings. It’s also developing an “outage watchlist” it intends to publish shortly.

The Government has set up an “inter-agency response group” to monitor the situation.

Energy and Resources Minister Megan Woods last week warned the industry she had asked officials to assure her prices were commensurate with the “level of scarcity in the market and risk of a shortage later this year”.

  13. BOMBSHELL: Montana Supreme Court Email Scandal May Lead to Arrests, Impeachments.

Various press outlets have reported, but largely under-reported, a developing scandal regarding the Montana Supreme Court and their refusal to abide by information requests for their email correspondence on publicly-owned servers.

Staff working for Montana senators emailed Supreme Court Administrator, Beth McLaughlin, on Wednesday, asking to obtain the full results of their poll conducted on public servers. However, McLaughlin emailed the staff back, claiming that she did not retain records. This seems to be in clear violation of Montana law, which has codified the “right to know” in regard to record requests. That the Supreme Court does not retain its email correspondence is a transparency issue that the state’s liberal press outlets would theoretically want to correct.

  14. Finally a bit of commonsense in Canada, where Ontario politicians are trying to bring in even more controls.
    ,
    @AndrewLawton
37 of Ontario’s 44 municipal and regional police departments are not going to randomly stop and question people for being outside their homes, despite provincial authority.
Here’s my real-time tracker for those wanting to follow along.

    https://twitter.com/AndrewLawton?
    .
I am not sure if this covers enforcing masks or allowing no masks though.
    ,
This needs to be talked about a lot more, even here in New Zealand, so the cops can see, they can think differently. instead of being mindless enforcers.
    ,
Though this is early days of the Canadian police not entirely following political decrees and seemed to be questioning those edicts,
    ,
…. The new powers allow police to stop people at random and ask why they are not at home and where they live. …..
    ,
…. The statement comes after several police services across Ontario said they won’t comply with new powers to stop people and question their purpose for leaving home during the COVID-19 lockdown.
    ,
On Friday, a number of police services took to social media to say they have no intention of conducting “random” stops. …..

    https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/ontario-police-random-spot-checks-1.5991872
    ,
New Zealand needs to know any future “lock down” will be done, and ongoing questions need to be made.
We need to be more ready to make these issues and how policing will be done in New Zealand,
    ,
The government should fear the people.
Not the people fear the government and its stasi style with police enforcers.

  15. Google Found Guilty Of Misleading Australian Customers On Data Collection

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has been pursuing legal action against Google’s “misleading conduct” since Oct. 2019.
“This is an important victory for consumers, especially anyone concerned about their privacy online, as the Court’s decision sends a strong message to Google and others that big businesses must not mislead their customers,” ACCC Chairman Rod Sims said.
“Today’s decision is an important step to make sure digital platforms are upfront with consumers about what is happening with their data and what they can do to protect it,” Sims said.
The ACCC claimed Google breached Australian consumer law from at least Jan. 2017 when it gave users the false impression of opting out of location data collection when the ‘location history’ setting was turned off.

    • I was involved in the consent renewals for the Waikaremoana power scheme a few years ago.Three power stations below the lake .
It was a fascinating time and the way they built that with picks and shovels and wheelbarrows was extraordinary.
I have a book about it and I don’t think many copies were printed.

      • That is a book I’d like to read. Love being up there.
Huge amount of history around the Lake, much of it untold.
        amazing place to go.
Had heaps of fun there too years back before everyone got uppity.
Knew a family that had a batch there way back and a boat on the Lake that never left the Lake.
Found some graves there one day.
Lake was formed by the biggest earthquake ever in NZ 3000 years ago. The boulders re still there.
Trout there are beautiful to eat.

      • …..”the way they built that with picks and shovels and wheelbarrows was extraordinary”……

Getting the turbines, generators & everything needed to build a power scheme on site was an amazing feat too. The only way was to ship them to the port at Waikokopu https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waikokopu then rail to Wairoa on the only piece of the Napier/Gisborne rail link built at that stage. From there they were dragged over 50km by traction engine & bullock teams to the three power stations.

An incredible piece of technical adventure.

  16. Looking at how “Critical Race Theory” is being taught to his kid in New York City.
At the price he is paying I would also be concerned.
    .
~ Andrew Gutmann, 45, had announced in an April 13 letter posted by Bari Weiss this week that he has chosen not to reenroll his daughter in the all-girls school
    .
~ Gutmann said on Saturday that he penned the 1,700-word letter he mailed to 650 different families because ‘someone had to speak out’
    .
~ He claimed that the school’s ‘once-rigorous curriculum’ completely changed after administrators ‘managed to sneak’ in an increased emphasis on race
    .
~ Jane Fried, Brearley’s head of school, sent a message to the school’s families on Friday in which she said students were ‘frightened’ to receive the letter at home
    .
~But Gutmann claims that students should not be ‘frightened’ by receiving a letter …..

….. I object to, as we have been told time and time again over the past year, that the school’s first priority is the safety of our children.
For goodness sake, Brearley is a school, not a hospital!
The number one priority of a school has always been, and always will be, education.
Brearley’s misguided priorities exemplify both the safety culture and “cover-your-ass” culture that together have proved so toxic to our society and have so damaged the mental health and resiliency of two generations of children, and counting.

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9483085/Father-pulled-daughter-NYCs-54K-year-Brearly-School-says-speak-out.html

So many more good points are bought up in this letter.
Some parts of this should also be customized and put to the School Board of Trustees in New Zealand. 🙂

  17. Four weeks ago on Sunday, I was round at a rental mowing the lawns and finishing off a tiling and paint job in the bathroom. I had a lot to do in the afternoon, but there was no way the tenants would let me go without sharing their Sunday family lunch. I could not have imagined that I’d be mowing there today, and telling them the house was sold, and they were going to have to move. The father was crying. Then I went next door, mowed and told those tenants that their house was sold as well. Pretty crap day. They are all lovely people. I imagine this is a scenario being repeated around the country.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2021/04/warning-new-maori-health-authority-will-fail-if-not-independent.html

    John Ansell writes:
10 OF JACINDA “COMRADES, COMRADES!” ARDERN’S ACTIONS THAT MORE THAN JUSTIFY THE CHARGE ‘COMMUNIST’:
(A charge that gets easier to justify with every passing law.)
    1. Abolishing under unprecedented urgency (one day’s notice) the public’s right to democratically reject racist wards.
    2. Indoctrinating and guilt-shaming children with a Soviet-style history curriculum that boils down to six words: ‘Brown Man Good/White Man Bad.’
    3. Turning children into communist activists via a Climate Change Teaching Resource that resembles a Hitler Youth manual.
    4. Using the cover of a suspiciously convenient pandemic to bribe the media to be her “sustained propaganda” factory.
    5. Having her bribed media cancel truth-tellers like John Banks, Michael Bassett and Sean Plunket.
    6. Using a suspiciously convenient massacre of New Zealand Muslims by an Australian to disarm innocent New Zealanders — while keeping supportive violent gangs armed to the teeth.
    7. The imminenent “hate speech” (ie “speech THEY hate”) law that will make telling the truth an imprisonable offence.
    8. The world’s cruellest abortion law.
    9. The current Bill banning silent, peaceful protests 150 metres from abortion clinics.
    10. Comrade Ardern’s growing contempt for New Zealanders in ramping up her use of the word “Aotearoa”, despite 90% of respondents to a November 2020 Research NZ poll saying they don’t want to be Aotearoans.

If you get caught over there because of lockdowns etc, don’t panic!
Think abought getting a job, they may just welcome you with open arms and you will only comeback to pack your possessions and sell the house.
It’s a longtime since I worked there, but I dought it’s changed much. I use to do fly in fly out and shutdowns from here. In my younger days ofcourse.
You just need to get a tax file number from Austax, (IRD).
Open a bank acc. You need to be able to prove who you are, passport, etc.
Some jobs may require joining a union. Manly construction, i would think!
If you are a tradie and need tools, buy secondhand, internet or shop.
Stick a copy of your trade certs, etc cv in your bag just in case.
You may need some training, but there are schools everywhere and some you can do online.
Stay with family, friends, live cheap and enjoy the experience! Just think, before you panic!
Kiwis are everywhere, just ask for pointers, recommendations and they may hook you up a job.
Even if it’s casual, it all helps to lower costs!

    • You have been able to fly to Australia (most states) without Quarantine; from NZ for SIX months.

Why is there so much confusion over this?

Is this because the media scum were busy protecting Ardoom that she would not let the Aussies in here while businesses suffered?

In fact because Aussie restricted MIQ from Q4 last year , people flew into NZ then on to Australia.
      By the thousand.
Places were more accessible, you could do daily exercise, and it was cheaper.
I dont think this has been covered .
      Not sure.
Again, I dont rely on NZ mediatards to keep me informed but this is what has been happening.

so, going one way to Australia has been the gig for half a year.
It was paused several times in Feb while Akl was in lockdown.

      So
it is not ‘now that the bubble is opening’ you can go freely, because NZers have had access for half a year.
It is just the dickheads in NZ dragging their feet that has been the problem
      What a retard term: ‘bubble’.
      Are we at cindy kindy?

“According to the current knowledge, the virus SARS-CoV-2 has a diameter of 60 nm to 140 nm [nanometers (billionth of a meter)] [16], [17], while medical and non-medical facemasks’ thread diameter ranges from 55 µm to 440 µm [micrometers (one millionth of a meter), which is more than 1000 times larger [25]. Due to the difference in sizes between SARS-CoV-2 diameter and facemasks thread diameter (the virus is 1000 times smaller), SARS-CoV-2 can easily pass through any facemask”

      • China is the goodest at that shit.
If you help a mate out with a few bucks, you get penalized and docked that money.
If you don’t spend your alloted funds…you lose it. No savings…period.

    • Bn, Is that because there is no cash in China to push under the mattress, all being digital bank currency?

      Yes Iaasb
There was a trial in Canada about 1975 – 79 for 4 years.
This shows it, but I think the reviewer does not seem to any real analysis and I get the impression of rose tinted glasses, as there is an agenda to do it again.
Finland also has a small trial running. Both trials only about 2,000 people received.
There is some costings of nation wide, and there the costs seem to be very high.
      Canada looking at again.

This article is a bit more realistic, plus more recent trials.

….. Last week, at the Liberal party policy convention, a majority of members endorsed a resolution to introduce a universal basic income model to Canada.

At the convention, Alex Spears, of Young Liberals of Canada, spoke on the resolution, saying a universal basic income (UBI) is “completely consistent” with Liberal values, which include “making sure that no one is left behind” and having a “strong and robust social safety net.” ….

…. “I think we can all agree it would be a fantastic thing to give lower-income individuals more money,” Moffatt said. “(But) it would either come from reduced spending elsewhere, or taxes would have to increase, and that’s ultimately the problem.” ….
      https://www.toronto.com/news-story/10374210-what-are-the-pros-and-cons-of-universal-basic-income-in-canada-/

Interesting it brings up other times and examples.
One of the problems in Alaska that is close to doing it in practice is that people want the money, just like as said, that to vote for the largess of the state for themselves.
That may explain some of the candidates that stand for election too. 🙂

    • Do not like that site as they are in cahoots with the World Economic Forum, and Klaus Schwab pops up, 🙁

It was bad enough that banks were able to hair cut money in your bank account.
Now with digital online banking it seems that your own accounts can be cleaned out.

Also with as I mentioned this morning, how twitter and cabal friends support that hacking, publicize the information to further their agenda of creating fear by the doxxers/brown-shirts to gain political control of you.
Just as liable to pull a lot info on you out of government departments too.

This needs to be shown more, to show that Ardern is well connected to Klaus Schwab and that World Economic Forum.
To put the perspective of her “kindness” “well-being” budget etc.. really means as WEF puts it:-
“you will have nothing, and you will be happy”

So what did she do since.
So many things said, that would have had her pinned down at the last election.
Saying one thing, yet tearing down how the measures are torn down, and no definitive targets. etc. etc…

  23. Demonic: Biden to Ramp Up Experiments Using Aborted Baby Body Parts

David Dalaiden, the spokesman for the Center for Medical Progress told Bill O’Reilly that Planned Parenthood had been selling baby organs for years.
This was absolutely shocking news at that time! Who would think that liberals would be so evil to harvest and sell aborted baby body parts? And yet here we are.

  24. Stephieboy is sitting on a Mt Roskill park bench looking rather forlorn when he is approached by a young lady. She asks him:

“Whatever is the matter with you, you look really upset”.

”Can you see all those houses over there? I built all those houses with my bare hands but do people call me stephieboy the house builder? No…… & can you see all those boats in the harbour? I built every one of them with my own hands but do they call me stephieboy the boat builder? No”.

    ”But you fuck one goat….”
