  1. Child: When I grow up I want to be a socialist

    Parent: You can’t do both
    *****
“I’m a socialist drinker!” The bartender chuckled and asked me, “Don’t you mean social drinker?”

“No, I only drink when someone else is paying.”
    *****
How do you starve a Socialist?

You hide their food stamps under their work boots.

A Communist, Socialist and Capitalist all agree to meet at a cafe.

The Communist and the Capitalist arrive on time but the Socialist is late.

A hour later, the Socialist rushes in.

‘Sorry I’m late guys’ he said, ‘I had to wait in line for a sausage’.

‘What’s a line?’ asked the Capitalist.

‘What’s a sausage?’ asked the Communist

very very interesting. That much loved arsewipe Micheal Joseph savage was must have been Jacinda’s father. Weill they behave in the same manner.

  3. Whanau Ora Minister has no issue with National Urban Maori Authority donation to Maori Party.
Well this is a issue as it has supposedly happened before when they had the warning in 2017 when it was rumored that a Government Identity had donated money to Labours cause to pay for the Interns bought into NZ to help canvass people for the Labour vote of the 2017 Election subsequently called slave gate run by Matt McCarten’s.
Now in the findings it is alleged that they had donations that Matt McCarten’s, Andrew Little who was Labour Leader at the time could not find out where some and especially one donation had come from ,so Labour and McCarten’s were slapped with a wet bus ticket.
Well now we have momentum calling for a Maori Health Authority to be formed and this will be supposedly announced on Wednesday 21st of April 2021 by Health Minister Andrew Little.
So again we head into the unknown and the worry is that it happened in 2017 and again in 2020 it has all the traits that it will happen again and we will se money siphoned from Government Identities for Political gain and if the Maori Party escape Prosecutions and get slapped with a wet bus ticket , after the Whanau Ora Minister has said he has no issue with the National Urban Maori Authority to the Maori Party.
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2021/04/warning-new-maori-health-authority-will-fail-if-not-independent.html
It’s always Labour Calling out National on donations never themselves yet it always seems to get covered up whenever the problem arises.

  4. Last night I watched the funeral of HRH Prince Philip on YouTube (49 minutes)

    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2ynBRJEQ5fE

It was tragic and staggering to see the death of a civilisation so graphically displayed with all the pomp and ceremony being carried out in the empty church. The Queen sat alone. Totally alone. Muzzled like a dog, while the other members of her family sat apart, equally muzzled and separated from each other by the dictats of fear imposed by the totalitarian state.

This was not a funeral for one man. It was not even a funeral for a once great country. It was the funeral for a whole civilisation and human progress.

What have we come to, when we allow ourselves to be imprisoned by fear, our businesses closed, our social cohesion atomized and our whole society to be literally destroyed in this way?

Although I am an atheist, I think I’m beginning to acknowledge the existence of evil, and what is happening now to our humanity is nothing but pure evil, driven and fed by irrational fear.

We must stand up united and say “Enough. We will not put up with this anymore!”

    • The distancing shit was all for the media, do you think afterwards behind closed doors they all stayed seperate and the sat the queen in the corner on her own? Nup hugs close contact.

EK you shoukd be asking why the fuck they bowed down to the politicians retarded rules, the queen of enhland should do what she wants but chose to make evrryone virtue signal instead of be normal.

      • Covid trolls Iaasb. Plus the royals simply don’t flout the laws of Britain, however stupid they deem them to be. It simply isn’t done.

Isolating the wife at the funeral after the death of her husband of 73 years, whomever they may be, was disgusting and I hope the sight of the lonely widow will make the world demand f’n “kindness” and a return to normalcy.

I think you’ve hit the nail right on the head there, WG. It’s a constitutional monarchy, and as such they must be seen to ‘obey the rules’.

        • Yes wg.
It showed up the cruelty of lock-downs, particularly when other things were opening up in the UK.

Also shows up the absolute nonsense of the vaccine, then remaining masked, and socially isolated.

…. Queen Elizabeth is fully vaccinated. ……
….. received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine …..
….. Buckingham Palace confirmed in January that both the Queen and her 99-year-old husband, Prince Philip, received their first doses, …..

          https://people.com/royals/queen-elizabeth-received-second-covid-vaccine-before-outing/

This part also needs to be talked about, just what value was that vaccine?
So was the Queen at risk of endangering others?
Was the Queen at risk, despite having been double jabbed?

  5. Today the sheeple celebrate the opening of the trans tasman bubble…
Instead of celebrating getting 0.0003% of a freedom back we should be fucking protesting everything else they stole from us inb the last year or so!!!

Fucking morons cant see the “bubble” is really just the govt throwing us scraps, they made a huge deal and worked extremely hard to give us the absolute minimum they could.

    20

    • At any moment they can declare that they have ‘found’ two or three people somewhere who are ‘infected’ (although they don’t have any symptoms and don’t even know they have it).

They will then clamp down and throw thousands of people’s lives into chaos with the reintroduction of imprisonment (AKA ‘quarantine’) for travellers.

They are using classic Pavlovian conditioning tactics here. They are treating us like dogs and if we are going to survive we must stand up together and say “Enough!”.

      • Damn straight EK, sad thing is we all know jacinda is just otching to wield her sword of power and get one over scomo by halting the bubble and causing kaos.

  6. If 500 or so (mostly elderly) die of influenza in a typical year in New Zealand, how many died of it in 2020?
If the same happens in 2021 and 500 more don’t pass away, won’t we have a “forest fuel” accumulation of another 500.

What happens (post COVID-19) when a routine influenza strain does the rounds? Will we see the death of 500 + 500 (2 years’ accumulated “forest fuel”) in one season? Will the government be able to resist the opportunity of this “tragedy” to announce further reductions on freedom for the healthy?

Or will these elderly (living on borrowed time) constitute a further burden on the health and welfare system? Add to the fact that NZ is an aging population, so the long-term trend will be for more and more boomers to check out.

  7. What is the excitement.

    I am genuinely confused here.

People going on about being able to go to Aussie when you have been able to go to most (and most populous) states for six months.
    Half a year.
Quarantine free – except for some pauses in February 2021 when Ardern decided she hated on KFC teenage workers.

It has been so easy to get to Aussie thousands of People wanting to go to Australia have stopped in NZ MIQ then gone straight to Oz – quarantine free.
Australia restricted numbers half a year ago so travelers quarantine in NZ – it was easier, cheaper, and they could exercise outdoors .
Since I dont bother much with NZ media idiots I am not sure if this has been reported in NZ.

So, it is BAU except that now NZ Govt have stopped being retards, people can travel to NZ from AU without so-called quarantine(when you are not even sick) .
This has simply penalized NZ businesses which the Govt has been doing since 2017.
You know, compulsory wage increases without productivity; extra sick leave; shutdowns at hours notice; removing 90 day trials; new holidays completely at employers expense and so on.

What is this ‘bubbles’ shit. I though that was Michael Jackson’s monkey.
    Kindy talk.

So Aussies were not able to come to NZ because of the stubbornness and stupidity of Ardern and her mates when their death and disease rates in most States have been lower than NZ per capita and yet she has been importing sick bastards with false certificates from India by the plane load.

I’m not celebrating stupidity and malice.

  8. Governments around the world seem to be enthralled by “things we can say threaten us, but we don’t really know for sure.”

    – Overpopulation (not distributed evenly throughout the world)
    – Acid rain (forgotten about)
    – The coming Ice Age (a big deal until the early 1980s)
    – Y2K (what happened?)
    – Ozone layer destruction (forgotten about)
    – CO2 as the climate-change-controlling trace gas
    – COVID-19 as the killer of populations (government definitions of “COVID death” are misleading)
    – The headlong rush to “renewable energy” without factoring in the decommissioning expenses (where do you bury all those used turbine blades and worn-out solar panels?)

What amazes me is that so many governments around the world all swim in the same direction and talk about the same “threats.” What can we conclude?
    a. The threats are real the and governments are looking out for us?
    b. The governments are all following the leader (no one wants to buck the trend)?
    c. Governments are heard animals?
    d. Puppet masters are pulling the politicians’ strings?
    e. Social networks are encouraging “groupthink”?
    f. Our leaders have the best scientific minds that money can buy?

      • The reason why governments love serious existential threats that may never materialize is that they can impose all measures of taxes and restrictions (for our own good, you know) and yet still have the supposed “killer problem” fade away from the public mind once the (paid) media stop pushing it.

For example: “The sea level is rising. Pay taxes and let us restrict you more!” Then, a decade later after all the taxes have been collected, the issue is swept under the rug and left to die. Next, the government comes up with a new existential threat to scare the sheep with.

The old sailing days, allowed people to take information by letter, as was the news.
It was mulled over, discussed, debated, to what can it mean?
It gave time to think, where the individual actually was.

They knew a reply would take 6 weeks or so to go back, if overseas, and then another month for a reply.
Now it seems as Lange joked, “reef fish” darting around in unison, sometimes swept by fear, other times by enticement of food.

The academia traded on the likes of Rhodes scholars, Nuffield scholars, exchange students, that then built up a network of similiar university inculcated trained minds, that have since kept in contact.
Their career leads into positions of influence.
Who do they owe their allegiance to?

However like fire, which is a good servant, but a bad master, there is an unrecognized flaw which b,c,d,e,f, can be manipulated, in line with our super fast communications.

    • I have several greedy extended family members that would love it. i find it totally disgusting that someone can challenge a will and get it changed because its “unfair” to usually a derilect POS child the deceased had spawned.

Under state distribution of an estate say a long lost love child comes forth and makes a claim theyll usually recieve the same as another sibbling even tho they had nothing to do with the parent since birth, ive seen it happen to a mates wife and they only just got it sorted late last year but her father died in 2016!!! The only winners in the end were the lawyers.

“We are consulting on fundamental questions. How important is the freedom to choose what happens to our property after we die? Do we have a duty to provide for our family and whānau? Should succession law reflect the obligations to partners and family that exist during our lifetimes? How can the law help families avoid and resolve disputes about a loved one’s estate?”

The Commission notes the potentially different perspectives among Māori.

“Succession is an important kaupapa for Māori and engaging Māori voices in our consultation is a priority for the Commission. We ask about the relationship between tikanga and state law in any reform.”

After consultation, the Commission will finalise its recommendations for reform in a report to the Government due by the end of 2021.”

  9. David Seymour: Harsher penalties for hate speech than for assaulting women, children

Act Leader David Seymour says the Government’s proposal to criminalise hate speech will have a chilling effect on political debate within New Zealand, with proposed laws containing penalties of up to three years imprisonment.

“We’re actually, for the first time in many generations, seeing freedom, civil liberties, political rights going backwards around the world, and some of these authoritarian regimes are looking more competent than they have for a very long time. I think that’s a real problem, and it reflects the fact that democracies are struggling to digest difficult problems.”

      • Do you think that National might be saving up all Labour’s boo-boos in order to do a great dump of Labour’s combined failures and curtailing of freedoms, apartheid legislation etc. at a time which is more suitable and will have a greater impact rather than speaking out (whilst the media right now will give them no air time) in smaller soundbites which would not have outcome that a deluge of Labours failures and ridiculous policies (e.g. free speech) lumped together would have? One great big hit at the right moment may well be better- no?

I used to believe that would be the case when Key was leader. Every term I waited and waited and waited for the timing to be right for maximum effect before the next election. Each time I was disappointed with nary a complaint from National or their rhetoric was as strong as a wet bus ticket. Last election I finally abandoned my life long belief in the founding principles of National and voted for ACT.

  10. Osaka and Tokyo are again experiencing rising daily numbers of positive coronavirus PCR test results. What annoys me is that the Japanese media don’t provide age breakdowns when they report the number of people who are “seriously ill” or who have died.

For example, NKH News reported 286 people seriously ill in Osaka, but they didn’t provide an age break down or even the median age. There is one hell of a difference between
    a. the median age of these 286 people is 72 and
    b. the median age of these 286 people is 35.

Why won’t the Japanese state media provide information like this which is in the public interest? The answer (obviously) is that it will counter the official narrative.

Journalism is telling the truth, getting to the bottom of things, not opining, not projecting.

  12. Praise the Lord and the Holyman
    Mr Holysheet

What a saviour that man is (even if he is one of those damned campervan drivers)

I just had look at the Fruityblog*

What a disgrace that idiot Farrar is.
If he had any sense it sure has left him.
First time for over a month I indulged and it seems it has notably declined even in that short period.

There is one article where Fruity rabbits about Derek Chauvin, the police officer on trial (on trial at this time, still ongoing ) for the death of George Floyd.
Dumbass Fruity Farrar simply declares Chauvin = Guilty.

Most of his commenters disagree (and that is with a harsh moderation regime)

Then the idiot Farrar not only calls Brenton Tarrant a white supremacist, he emphasises it.
Complete tosh from this has-been politico.
Again most of his commenters take a contrary position to his incorrect, immature, and underdeveloped opinion.

I dont bother with their long rambling general debate.

I am curious why the commenters stay there with this intellectual dwarf but given they have such weird vices it is probably better they do not migrate to YSB.

So, well done to our Editor for his two years of a quality blog and a strong, questioning mind
(Despite his being a campervan driver. I have done 1700 km in last 2 weeks; bloody campervans; Grrrh)

The beady-eyed critter, David Farrar, is a sandwich short of a picnic and clearly lived on the coat tails of John Key.
Without Key his true colours show: gray and dull.

In fact these Freedom Hubs are growing so fast we’re starting to lose count of how many there are ..
This means, there’s a very good chance there’s already a Freedom Hub near you where people are speaking freely, leaning on each-others empathetic shoulders, sharing vital information, and supporting each other through this tough season.
After what feels like an eternity of isolation, it’s so fantastic to walk into a room full of people who remember the “old normal” and who are choosing to live normally again..
This is why we’d love for you to come along and feel not just normal, but fantastic with us too.

  16. Boo hoo.
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern ‘disheartened’ by ACT’s anti-hate speech law campaign
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2021/04/prime-minister-jacinda-ardern-disheartened-by-act-s-anti-hate-speech-law-campaign.html

But ACT leader David Seymour immediately pushed back, saying he’s equally “disheartened” by the Prime Minister’s suggestion his party is not willing to engage.

“Democracy and the ability to have civil and honest conversations is already becoming imperilled, which is why this is the worst possible time to empower lynch mobs who choose to take offence at ideas they don’t support,” he says.

  17. Listened to cindy on the radio, she was telling everyone about the trans tasmen bubble and it was her idea. (Even though SCOMO did it 6 mths before her)
She was that excited she was jumping up and down and you would think she was wetting herself!
Just remember folks, if she pulls that lockdown shit, get a job. Even casual, to pay the bills.

    • Why do so many follow him?

Posted last night, but noting it is World Economic Forum, that is the same seeking the “The Great Reset” and to “Rebuild back Better”

Shortly coming up 2 years ago.

This needs to be shown more, to show that Ardern is well connected to Klaus Schwab and that World Economic Forum.
To put the perspective of her “kindness” “well-being” budget etc.. really means as WEF puts it:-
“you will have nothing, and you will be happy”

So what did she do since.
So many things said, that would have had her pinned down at the last election.
Saying one thing, yet tearing down how the measures are torn down, and so many “definitive” targets. etc. etc…

  18. Did you cross the line?

    Moving the line
This video explores exactly what ‘Moving the Line’ is in the context of the Field Model.
What happens when someone ignores your No?
Line moves can often be excused for smaller decisions, but they can also be serious enough to make you question the respectfulness of your relationship

Now see how it is really sorted, with great active discussion as well.

Will not be doing “whatever” again too soon.

I am sure New Zealand laws can soon be sorted to culturally incorporate this too and made just as welcome? 🙁
Then they can be us, as we become them.
    Destiny is in demographics.

  19. A blind man went to a restaurant. menu sir? asked the owner. I’m blind, just bring me one of your dirty forks, I will smell it and order.
The confused owner went to the kitchen to retrieve a fork, and returned to the blind man. The blind man smelled the fork with a deep breath, yes I will have the lamb with seasoned potatoes and spring vegetables.
Unbelievable, thought the owner. The blind man ate and left.
Two weeks later the blind man returned. The owner, wanting to know how good his smell is, quickly went to the kitchen where his wife Brenda was cooking and said, do me a favor and rub this fork over your private part which she did.
He then goes to the blind man and gives him the fork. The blind man takes it and puts it to his nose and says, Fuck me! I never knew Brenda works here!🤣

  20. Approval given for conversion to forestry

A company owned by European interests has been granted government approval to buy three North Island livestock farms to convert to forestry.

Kingheim Ltd, jointly owned by Austrian and Irish interests, has been granted approval under the Government’s special forestry test “one-off purchase” process to buy nearly 1500ha in the King Country and Waikato.
