Where are you going to move it to that is safe? (There isn’t anywhere.) If you move it further away, the roads will probably be cut and you won’t be get to the facilities.

      All they can really do is set up helicopter pads. The roads and bridges will be taken out by a major quake.

    • Scientists are revising their risk assessment for the trans-alpine fault upwards on an almost monthly basis.

China has been open and thriving, without much of a vaccine rollout whatsoever, for more than a year, while the West is still inundated in lockdown madness. In the end, China launched WWIII in the form of the coronavirus, and won the war without firing a single shot.

          It is very much on the issues of medicinal and vaccination issues, and social media and communications.

          I have not gone through it all, but just perusing
          Chapter 16, 17, 18 & 19 runs many parallels for today.
          In this scenario, it would seem the vaccine is a bit more tested in part, but shows how it become only government backed in legislation, and so the companies were freed.

          However, after the experts had read through this, and could see how social media, news, seemed to cause issues, then lead onto “suppression” concepts, then leading onto the lock down & masking concepts evolving.

          The “modellers” probably had in their round the world communications then started to read up the scenarios, which the media were able to relate to, as “fears sell” and make money for them.

          This would seem to be one of the reasons why the New Zealand government among others, that threw away their previous thought out plans, to a panic-pandemic.

          Politically that then struck a chord with the polls, as “fear” media proved to do well, as politicians gained in the elections, even with the mess of lock downs, masks, and proving the “Modern Monetary Theory”, seeming to work.

          Project Veritas, with James O’Keefe at least exposed, not a medical, but a media agenda of CNN to use “fear sells”.

    • Disagree with #7 China has some big problems namely food shortage due to weather and crops not being planted during lockdowns. The Yangtze river and its tributaries behind the dam are close to 800 Kms and a depth at the dam currently about 165m is approaching the official danger level of 175m, downstream many towns are already flooded so releasing more water to relieve pressure has consequences and if the dam bursts there are 4-500 million Chinese living in towns & cities along side the river, a CGI simulation on You Tube shows the initial height of water at 200-250m with flows at 100Kph and still at 25 Kph when it reaches Shanghai 1000 Kms away. I reckon Xi Jinping is either quietly shitting bricks or he believes the lies told by the Dam operator although the downstream flooding is so big already its hard to dismiss. Don’t mention the Yangtze to our “foreign minister” as she likely thinks its a Chinese Takeaway meal and is eager to try half a dozen for a snack, 3 Pies will be close behind.

      In the North Island were two constantly under performing DHBs. Hawkes Bay and Wanganui (H is optional)

    “HAVE THESE QUESTIONS BEEN ANSWERED?
    WHERE IS THE PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE ANSWERS?
    In January 2021 a special Medicines Adverse Reactions Committee Meeting was held, to review any potential issues with the Pfizer Comirnaty (Covid 19) vaccine.
    This document has only recently been loaded onto the Medsafe website….3 months later.
    Key points from the meeting:
    *Medsafe considers that the safety specification for this product is currently inadequate and does not accurately reflect the IMPORTANT KNOWN RISKS, IMPORTANT POTENTIAL RISKS, OR MISSING INFORMATION.
    The RMP should be updated to include the additional risks and state how the missing information will be addressed.
    *The additional studies appear to generally address the information gaps, but the company should state specifically how they will provide information on the NZ concerns raised above.
    *In addition the provision of the results of these studies and provision of safety updates should be made a condition of approval.
    *It was noted that the benefit-risk profile for a COVID-19 vaccine may be perceived differently in New Zealand compared to other countries, due to the fact that the virus is currently largely contained.
    *The Committee discussed the clinical trial information available to date. The low numbers of participants who were very elderly, of ethnic minorities, and with various important comorbidities were noted.
    *It was also noted that the STUDY DESIGN DOES NOT PROVIDE ROBUST SAFETY DATA IN A NUMBER OF POPULATIONS
    *Nor does it provide adequate information about duration of immunity/need for booster doses, prevention of transmission, prevention of asymptomatic disease or prevention of severe disease.
    *GIVEN THE LIMITATIONS OF THE DATA, ROBUST POST MARKET INFORMATION GATHERING IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE.
    The Committee agreed with the proposed questions and comments on the Risk Management Plan. In particular, the need for more information on use in patients with renal and hepatic impairment, children and people with multiple comorbidities was emphasised.
    The need for information on coadministration with other vaccines was stressed, with upcoming influenza vaccination, herpes zoster/shingles in the over 65 year olds, and an adult catch-up programme for measles/mumps/rubella (MMR) vaccination likely to coincide with the introduction of any COVID-19 vaccine.
    *It was noted that low prevalence of COVID-19 infection in New Zealand means that vaccine-associated enhanced disease (VAED) MAY be less of a risk compared with other countries.”

  43. National Party will meet in June for special conference on constitutional changes

    The National Party will host a special meeting in late June to put big constitutional changes to its members, Stuff understands.

    One of the big changes that will be put to members is whether the party’s constitution needs to be amended to include explicit reference to the Treaty of Waitangi.

    The changes have risen out of the review into the Party’s 2020 election campaign and how the party conducted itself during its three years in opposition.

    The review was carried out by the party board and remains secret, even MPs aren’t allowed to keep a copy of it.

    Other recommendations will have to wait until the next campaign. The review found that National was hampered in 2020 by a lack of diverse candidates.

    National Party President Peter Goodfellow has previously told members that the board will “fully accept” all of the review’s recommendations.
    Goodfellow has been approached for comment.

      National could win the next election if they would only adopt this philosophy in their constitution.

  46. My name is Jim Traue. I was born in Auckland; as a child and young man I lived in Palmerston North, Hawera, Rotorua, Frankton Junction and then back in Auckland; but I have lived most of my life in Wellington. By birth, by domicile, by loyalty I am a New Zealander. I have no other home.

    My parents were born in New Zealand, and their parents before them. My paternal great-grandfather, the first Traue in New Zealand, was born in Berlin in the Kingdom of Prussia. He cam here in the early 1870s and married a Fitzgerald, born in British India of Irish parents. Since then there has been an admixture of Welsh and English blood to this original German-Irish stock.

    They, my ancestors, have determined my genetic inheritance. They have determined my height, my shape, the colour of my eyes, the colour of my hair (and, alas, the lack of it). They may well have determined how I react, how I respond, that is my temperament. That strong Celtic strain from my ancestors may explain a certain gift for words. But my great-grandfather also had a love of the English language and wrote it like an angel though he spoke with a German accent.

    But others, all of them outside my blood lines, have shaped my ideas, my beliefs, my values; from others I have learned the things I hold dear, the things that identify me as a person, a unique individual, and that have given me my standing, my reputation in the community.

    That is my genealogy, that is my whakapapa.

  47. Another obvious border cockup. Infected airport cleaner worked in both the green zone and red zone. I’d have thought you would keep them separate to prevent any chance of catching and infecting others but cleaners are employed to work in both zones.

  54. Dr Polyakova, who is the Medical Director of a hospital in Kent has said that the “levels of sickness after vaccination is unprecedented” among NHS staff, confirming that some are even suffering neurological symptoms which is having a “huge impact on the health service functioning”.

    The doctor, who progressed into medical management of the hospital over the past three years says that she is struggling with the “failure to report” adverse reactions to the Covid vaccines among NHS staff, and clarified that the young and healthy are missing from work for weeks after receiving a dose of either the Pfizer or AstraZeneca experimental vaccine.

    “Some even require medical treatment” Dr Polyakova said, “Whole teams are being taken out as they went to get the vaccine together”.

    In response to the arising question of making Covid-19 vaccination compulsory for NHS staff, Dr Polyakova said –

    “Mandatory vaccination in this instance is stupid, unethical and irresponsible when it comes to protecting our staff and public health. We are in the voluntary phase of vaccination, and staff are being encouraged to take an unlicensed product that is impacting on their immediate health.

    “I have direct experience of staff contracting Covid after vaccination and probably transmitting it. It is clearly stated that these vaccine products do not offer immunity or stop transmission.

    “So why are we doing it? There is no longitudinal safety data available and these products are only under emergency licensing. What is to say that there are no longitudinal adverse effects that we may face that may put the entire health sector at risk?”

    Both the Pfizer and AstraZeneca jab are only licensed for emergency use only, as confirmed by Dr Polyakova. This means that the manufacturer of the vaccine, in this case either Pfizer or AstraZeneca, are not liable for any injury or ill-effect that may occur in the recipient of their product.

    The Medical Director didn’t stop their though as she went on to attack the coercion and mandating of experimental medical treatments for NHS staff, comparing it to a Nazi dystopia –

    “Flu is a massive annual killer, it inundates the health system, it kills young people, the old the comorbid, and yet people can chose whether or not they have that vaccine (which had been around for a long time). And you can list a whole number of other examples of vaccines that are not mandatory and yet they protect against diseases of higher consequence.

    “Coercion and mandating medical treatments on our staff, of members of the public especially when treatments are still in the experimental phase, are firmly in the realms of a totalitarian Nazi dystopia and fall far outside of our ethical values as the guardians of health.

    “I would never debase myself and agree, that we should abandon our liberal principles and the international stance on bodily sovereignty, free informed choice and human rights and support unprecedented coercion of professionals, patients and people to have experimental treatments with limited safety data. This and the policies that go with this are more of a danger to our society than anything else we have faced over the last year.

    “What has happened to “my body my choice?” What has happened to scientific and open debate? If I don’t prescribe an antibiotic to a patient who doesn’t need it as they are healthy, am I anti-antibiotics? Or an antibiotic-denier? Is it not time that people truly thought about what is happening to us and where all of this is taking us?”

  55. Cambodians who flout Covid rules could face 20 YEARS in prison after parliament passes draconian law

    New legislation adopted in Cambodia would make violating coronavirus measures a serious offense punishable by up to two decades behind bars. The harsh law has been criticized as a way to crack down on dissent.
    Passed unanimously by the country’s parliament on Friday, the law calls for a three-year prison sentence for those who break quarantine orders, and up to twenty years in jail for any group that intentionally spreads the virus.

    Cambodia’s Health Minister Mam Bunheng hailed the law as a way to “protect public health.”
