      • In a free society, do citizens have the right to go about their business without being monitored directly and constantly?

        Already, we are monitored sporadically, but not constantly. By “sporadically” I mean that the State can know where you are every time you:
        – Use a credit or Eftpos card
        – Pay a road toll
        – Use your telephone
        – Walk in front of a street CCTV camera
        – Pass through a border
        These are discrete, one-time events. Granted, they can be pieced together to get an idea of a person’s movements, but they are not the same as realtime tracking.

        I don’t think we have constant tracking of citizens yet (unless your smartphone tracking function is ON).
        What is the benefit to the citizen of being constantly monitored by the State? What are the benefits to the State?

      No on-charges for diesel so road users have to buy disks.

    Going through Palmerston a bus driver was standing beside the front of the bus waiting to cross the road, I don’t think he appreciated it when the horn went off beside him judging by the raised hand with protruding finger I saw in the rear vision mirror.

    • These “official” falsified certificates are not fakes (in a way). The information they claim to certify is false, but the documents themselves and the signatures on them are authentic and original.

      Okay. Fine the person who presents these documents to the NZ government.
      Yes, but the documents are real. The Indian went to his doctor, asked for a certificate, and the doctor wrote one out for him. How do you prove that the Indian knew that the document was a dud? (He is not a doctor.)

  41. In its response to COVID-19 China messed up. to an immeasurable degree.

    I can’t prove it but here’s the nutshell… They mistook C19 for something far far worse. Something much more ‘potent’ that they knew existed in the Wuhan lab.

    Their reaction was one of wild unbridled speculation that they were in big trouble. they pulled out all the stops , and it turned out to be just C19 – that they knew or understood quickly was much less dangerous.

    So the images of death on the streets of Wuhan could be a false attempt at covering up their over-reaction. Again, i have very little doubt that they thought something much worse than C19 was released from the wuhan lab.

    The UK’s House of Commons on Thursday unanimously passed a motion declaring Uyghur Muslims and other ethnic and religious minorities in China’s Xinjiang region are suffering crimes against humanity and genocide.
    This makes the UK Parliament the third legislature in the world—following Canada and the Netherlands—to have passed motions calling the treatment of the Uyghur Muslims in Xinjiang “genocide.”

    A little calculation of the population situation on earth.

    There are people who invoke the threat of an alleged “overpopulation”. What is it?

    Let’s do the math in a slightly simplified way.

    The world population is currently estimated at around 7.8 billion people. For simplicity, let’s say 8 billion. In digits: 8,000,000,000

    Now let’s allocate 100 m2 of living space to every single person. From newborns to old people on their deathbeds, every person has 100 m2 of living space at their disposal throughout their life.

    8 billion people x 100 m2 of living space = 800 billion m2 of living space requirement

    Let’s see how much that is in km2:
    1 km2 = 1,000 m x 1,000 m = 1,000,000 m2
    Consequently: 800,000,000,000 m2: 1,000,000 = 800,000 km2

    Now let’s mentally distribute this living space over three-story residential buildings. No skyscrapers, just 3-story buildings.

    The following area would be required for this: 800,000 km2: 3 = 266,700 km2

    Let’s put this area in relation to the area of Germany in 2020: 357,582 km2

    357,582 km2 = 100%
    266,700 km2 = 74.58% of the area of Germany

    or 0.18% of the earth’s mainland (149,430,000 km2)

    In other words:
    If every single person were given 100 m2 of living space, and this living space were distributed over three-story houses, the entire current world population could easily be accommodated in almost ¾ of the area of Germany. Not recommended, but mathematically possible.

    And there would still be plenty of space for parks, forests, gardens, paths, roads.

    While the rest of the world would be deserted.

    Is that what overpopulation looks like? How do you get a media-sensitive, self-indulgent humanity to look facts in the eye?
    Do we really know nothing better than to make life difficult for each other? What can we realize when we stand together as humanity?

  58. Nurse found dead in patients bathroom hours after having the Pfizer Covid Vaccine

    A nurse was found dead whilst on shift, slumped in the bathroom of the patient they were caring for, just hours after having the Pfizer / BioNTech mRNA Covid vaccine.
    The incident happened in the USA at a hospital in Iowa on the 3rd March 2021 and was reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) by colleagues who attempted to revive the nurse on the 4th March 2021.

    The report (which you can find here under VAERS ID 1071935)states that the male nurse was just twenty-eight-years-old and had no existing life threatening conditions, disabilities or birth defects. However just hours after vaccination the nurse complained of a headache and feeling dizzy, but was adamant that they would soldier on with their shift to give their patients the care they needed.
