  1. Officials not tracking how much money is given to Emergency Housing Moteliers for damage, Carmel Sepuloni admits that’s ‘not ideal.
Unknown sumsof money are being handed over to Moteliers to cover damages caused by emergency housing clients- officials aren’t keeping track of what’s being spent and can’t put a figure onit, system “not ideal ” Minister says.
In the last three months of 2020 Emergency Housing Grant’s cost about $82 .5 million for 8,500 clients, however some people have” high and complex needs and can act out in ways that causes damage to motels”, Carmel Sepuloni says.
Damages or loss are charged to the client and they are required to repay it back to MSD in a way that does not cause hardship she says.

How can the public tolerate such incompetence and stupidity from a Government lost in it’s own self importance when distributing taxpayers money.

  3. WTF? How can they not be accounting for the repair spend. FS that’s my money. They’re not even keeping tabs on what they’re spending? I actually call bullshit on this. Not even this lot can possibly be that useless. Even a small business itemises repairs and maintenance. The truth will be that they know how much it is, but don’t want US to know.

Unknown sums of money are being handed over to moteliers to cover damages caused by emergency housing clients – officials aren’t keeping track of what’s being spent and can’t put a total figure on it.

That’s “not ideal”, admits Minister of Social Development Carmel Sepuloni, who wants a system that can better monitor those costs and the damage being caused.

  4. “Segregation didnt work on the 20th century” go judith, well thats certainly rarked up the woke mob… watch them circle like vultures now along with the woke media and cancel judith.

Youd also think by now any internal documents would have a nice big warning on them “private and confidential, sharing this document or information contained within will lead to legal action and we will seek damages” (or however the legal mumbo jumbo is worded)

Bye bye national, my prediction is the greens and act will each get a larger party vote the national next election.

  5. An Australian or NZ fairytale….

Once upon a time there lived a stately handsome Prince.

    One gorgeous sunny day his servants saddled his best white horse for him & he rode across the country to the castle where a very beautiful Princess lived. The Prince entered the castle, knelt in front of the Princess, kissed her hand & spoke;

“Beautiful Princess, will you marry me?”

The Princess said no & so the Prince lived happily ever after & he went hunting & fishing every weekend & every night he was in the pub till stumps with his mates & he’d play golf all afternoon & rooted any girl that crossed his path & also the neighbour’s wife & the neighbour’s daughters & he went to the footy & the cricket & ate pizza & drank beer & left the toilet seat up all the time & watched dirty videos & surfed internet pornsites while he farted & burped & scratched his balls & drank more beer….

  6. Here’s another interesting comment from Going Postal this morning:

    sileic • 6 minutes ago
Mum has now been in hospital for 5 days without getting any further forward in finding out what is wrong with her. I spoke to my Aunty today who said, in passing, that the head pains and exhaustion has been goong on for longer than Mum told me. Mum told me, the day before she went to hospital that it has been 3 of 4 weeks.

Aunty reminded me that Mum first mentioned headaches a lot longer ago after she got new glasses. After a couple of weeks she went back to the opticians and they said there must have been a mistake in making the lenses and she went back to her old pair. (Assuming dodgy glasses were straining her eyes and causing headaches.) This makes it three months ago, and while I don’t have the exact date, around the time she had her first vaccine jab.

One never has any idea if something a stranger says online is true but all the reports of ‘side effects’ I am convicned there are far more people getting ill, or worse, than the sad but accepted tiny proportion that happens to taking even the oldest, most tested, and well tolerated drugs.

It is one thing to see something online and think about what is happening to other people and their loved one. It is qiuet another to think it might be happening to one’s own Mother.

    • This does seem to be something similiar rolled out a number of times;- about 90 years ago.

      Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson’s Remarks
….. emphasize that abiding by the one-China principle is an important part of China-Australia relations.
Taiwan is an integral part of China’s territory.
The Taiwan question is China’s internal affair that bears on China’s core interests, and brooks no external interference. …..

etc. which is said that all the foreign forces should be kept out, whilst they conceded whilst making pledges about some of the issues.
How well that went, and how many times it was repeated.

      • Yup. I really don’t beleive China wants a hot war. One, it will fuck up their trade dominance. Two, domestic turmoil as body bags start piling up. I don’t belive the average Chines punter wants to upset the apple cart. The CCp will play games with India in the himamlayas, Taiwan, The Phillipines etc, but at the last moment, they will retreat. Why play this game? It plays havoc with western stock markets and western trade. They are not stupid. Although they have a massive army their technical power is stillnot equal to the USA or NATO. and they know that.

  8. Has anyone else received the ‘Happy Happy, Joy Joy, We’re all in this together for our own good’ ‘Lets get the jab’ pamphlet about the incoming virus vaccination plan?

While all ‘sweetness and light, jolly hockeysticks’ in it’s wording, I notice that the little document makes absolutely NO mention of the fact that such an injection is actually VOLUNTARY, the ‘implication’ being that we will ALL be so keen that we will climb all over ourselves and others in out enthusiasm to be ‘jabbed’.

One wonders what will happen to those who refuse…

  9. I have just heard the most outrageous ad on Magic Talk from the government’s Covid-19 propaganda department about the ‘vaccine’.

In it the kindergarten teacher’s voice told us that this ‘vaccine’ was produced so quickly because ‘research had been going on for years’ on similar problems, and ‘the world had pulled together’ on it. This is debatable, but let’s let this ride for the moment. What REALLY made me scream out loud was the closing statement that it was perfectly safe and that ‘ALL THE SAFETY TESTS HAVE BEEN DONE’!!!!!

I didn’t record the ad unfortunately. Did anyone else hear this disgusting piece of lying propaganda? Does anybody have a recording of the ad or can point me to a site containing the audio?

If I can get a recording I’m seriously thinking of lodging a complaint to either the Broadcasting Standards Authority or the Advertising Standards Authority (maybe both).

I phoned the radio station and complained to the producer, but perhaps understandably they didn’t want to let me air my concerns live as it was off-topic (Peter was talking about rugby funding and the National Party’s ineffectiveness at the time), but she did indicate that they’ve had several calls of a similar nature.

Anyway, they replaced Plunket with the Leah Panapa/ Danny Watson duo. Dull dull dull. So I switch off at 12. Fools. ( EK, I heard that ad. Disgraceful )

          • Bandwagon wokeness. There was a Maori on TV the other night insisting Northland’s township Kamo should be renamed Te Kamo and emphasising the correct pronunciation. I have it on good authority he is a ‘born again’ maori after refusing to have anything to do with maoridom in years past. The locals were not impressed with his suggestion.

You cant criticise leftards for not listening to your opinion if you dont reciprocate and listen to them, quite a childish and naive way to deal with it by just switching off because you dont want to hear contradictary opinions… thought that was reservedfor our silly ptpm

      • “quite a childish and naive way to deal with it ”
Really? I dont switch off because I dont want to hear contradictory opinion..I find them both batshit boring, unfunny and generally fuckin average as talk show hosts. Im not interested in Panapas cheese scone recipes ( she could actually do without them, just quietly ).
Obviously the new panty wearing mincing poof CEO of MediaWorks ( ex Air NZ ) thought otherwise.
When Sean Plunket got the arse card from his 12-4 slot, I cancelled my Hello Fresh weekly food order as a protest. They advertise on MW, I told them why I was cancelling and I emailed the MW CEO and told him as well. Heard back from Hello Fresh..but not a dickey bird from the MW CEO. So, the wireless goes off at 12pm.

          • I call Peter Williams every now and then, but I switch off at midday coz the ‘news’ isn’t worth listening to and I can’t stand that woke Watson creep and the Panapa woman. Like waikatogirl, I sometimes listen to Ryan Bridge, but I’ve never phoned him and I only switch him on if I’m stuck in traffic.

Used to listen to Chris Carter on Newstalk in the afternoons but turned off after he was replaced by waffling Watson.

    • It is poosible this woman has GBS ( Guiliane Barre Syndrome). My wife got it after a dose of bronchitis and ended up exactly like this woman. If i am right and they do not recognise it quicky she will end up in dire straits. The common thing with people who get GBS
( a relatively rare auto immune issue) is that everyone has had an infection of some sort recently –could be anything from food poisoning to pneumonia. We read of a situation in the USA where 3 women got it at about the same time and they had all had a flu jab in recent days.

      7

      0

      • 2015 I had to go to hospital for a heart procedure. The second one ,so I thought I would be safe and have a flu shot. Only the second time ever.
In a very short time like about a week I started to get rather ill. Three trips to the hospital and many tests later they still couldn’t tell me what the problem was until my GP looked over all the results, turned to me and said, You have polymyalgia.
WTF’s that I said. We don’t really know but it seems that like things like polio, malaria and other infections there is something that upsets your nervous system.
How did I know I was not well. Couldn’t walk and the pain in my hips was excrutiating. Couldn’t lie down and the pain was so bad I went to the hospital at 3am. twice in a week. Not kidding when I tee you you freeze up.
Turns out the only way to fix it was take prednisone in large doses. At year 6 still have to take a small dose each day.
Now I’m no sook so when I tell you the pain was unbelievable that’s what I mean.
Its my conclusion that I got this from having the flu jab. I’ve argued this with the specialist and the Doctors but oh no oh no..
My chemist tells me that currently they are getting one new case a week. all in oder people. I met so many with the same issue and even the specialist who was a rather bright older Chinese man had no idea except that he had a patient list back then in 2015 of over 500.

        this sounds very similar.

        4

        0

        • Viking, one can often wonder how things connect up, and if the numbers prove one way or the other, or just that your body system is differently set up.

a patient list back then in 2015 of over 500.

With numbers that like that, it would seem that a study group of that problem could be started.
Things like Blood group, and other +ive or -ive, bits & pieces.
Also to set them to be independent of other medical things.
Even curious to see who & how died off?
          Any trends? Increasing numbers?
Any other commonality, like as you mention the flue jab, but any thing else in common.
Maybe a control group, that do not get vaccines. 🙂

Many of us are living well past our allotted time, being saved in one area, so it always seems that some other parts of the body wants to throw the towel in later on.
Amazing though how little tricks of “Doctory” & some meds can get you past it too.
Though I do wonder at some times the beating on the rest of the body by the meds, etc., while patching up the malinger part. 🙂

Life is to be lived & to make the most of it, while you have got it, and then there is the price to be paid. 🙂

    • The bastards were all set for this to go in Nov 2016.
Killery as the sick old critter in the WH.
The Thing even has its death squads ready.

Then Trump came along and all these things were delayed.
This is why they had to steal the election last year ( From their pt of View) .
      Everything was set to go.
      Now back on track.

      -Wars and conflict.
      -Massive tracking of citizens
      -Corruption of the monetary system
      -Reduced rights
-Division of people into opposing groups (The Russians manipulated this well in 1917 )

They were able to keep some things going like the final defilement of Hollyweird and woke shite in place of movies
      Pushing the trannie stuff.
Slower than they planned but it was ticking over.

Trump actually did a lot to set things back like take them out of self destructive Climate nonsense.
No new wars to create fake distracting enemies.

The (manufactured) rhetoric in 1990 against the Iraqi people in the USA was phenomenal and yet most Yanks could not find Iraq on map then, and many could not now.
Hate of people in order to create wars; climate fear porn; covid etc is all manufactured, story boarded and played out in a studio before being released as propaganda through fake news outlets…it is how they roll.

If you can think Russia 1917 you will get an idea of USA today .
A key step is taking out the opponents of the revolution.
Eg Twitter banning, debasing opponents like GiuIiani

Look at the current massive anti-US police drive in media around the world.
US Cops tend to not be Demonrat voters.
They see the results of the Demonic policies every day and have to deal with it.
Most people on YSB are aware of real statistics, not fake crap rolled out by media filth.
Most people around the world are not, and lazily listen to media spread lies.

      Russia 1917. meet USA 2021
It would have been USA 2017 if Trump had’nt MAGA’d the 2016 election.
80 million Americans saw this and in 2020 voted for him but the election was stolen by evil critters.

Search warrants were carried out at 11 properties throughout Bay of Plenty, Northland and Auckland on Thursday morning, with Operation Tarpon targeting key players of a drug syndicate operating in New Zealand with links to a Mexican cartel.

Police allege those involved “conspired to import a large quantity of cocaine and methamphetamine into New Zealand via shipping containers”. It’s also alleged that some of the group imported a smaller quantity of cocaine from their central American contacts by courier mail to sell and distribute in Aotearoa.

The eight men arrested, who age between 26 and 62, face multiple drug-related charges, including conspiracy to import a Class A controlled drug, importing a Class A controlled drug, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and possession for supply.

  15. It is 25 years since the Port Arthur false flag massacre (28th April 1996). Martyn Bryant’s mother wrote a book about her son and here is a excerpt from a review of it on Amazon:

The author Carleen Bryant too is a victim of the 1996 incident at Port Arthur in Tasmania. Like all the other living victims, her pain goes on. In her candid book My Story – a book only a mother could write – she reveals the life of her family and more specifically of her son Martin who was made the patsy for that terrible incident. Without reservation, she details his mental difficulties and his physical ineptness. For example, he was unable to assemble simple Mecano parts. (He received a pension because he had an IQ of 66, putting him at the lowest level of functioning. In short, he is a boy-man.) Mrs. Bryant openly reveals his blunders and incompetence which, added to all the other facts known about him, tells us that he was totally incapable of premeditating, planning, and then perpetrating that terrible incident. For example, he was unable to drive the BMW as it had manual-change gears. There was NO trial and there is NO hard evidence confirming anything pushed in the official narrative. People who believe he is guilty should curtail their understandable rage and examine the facts, starting with what is revealed in this book. That dear Mrs. Bryant endures what evil officials have done to her innocent son – and to her – confirms the strength she draws from her faith in Jesus Christ. God bless you both…….

    • I agree with Kea on this.

      Read between the lines

      She said
‘someone was planning to raid their property in South Head and steal their cannabis crop. ‘
Smith (the assassin*) was on methamphetamine at the time.

OK, so whacked out on P

      Was there any proof?
      Just her word.
      The guy is dead.
      He can’t counter anything.
      One shot
      Boom

‘In the trial in February this year, her defence was one of self-defence,’
      Self defence …against a loving (?) partner

Smith’s lawyer Susan Gray said her client was genuinely remorseful,
and since the shooting had turned her life around, (key words)
kicking her addiction to drugs (key words)
      and successfully studying.

All standard stuff when getting off an assassination charge

Put a weepy blonde in front of the judge and he falls apart.

So she went from Drug user, drug grower and dealer ,and accomplished murderer to…
…a great member of the communidy .
      0 to 60 in 4 secs.

      I just don’t believe it.
So common in NZ like the woman in Christchurch who poisoned her husband and the sister had to do the leg work because the cops were so F..ing useless…as they always are with murders
This is the same biased nonsense as “Women school teachers dont shag underage school boys , just because…”
Oh noes, if a woman says it was not murder well heck we will let her off.
      Even drug dealer women.

      Who killed Scott Guy?
That was also an assassination, well planned and executed. Like this one it seems.
You would have a list of suspects of less than 4 of who had motive, opportunity, and means and still no conviction; even of the cops’s brother (McDonald) who stood trial.

      NZ Courts.
Full of useless pricks and some even become the Children’s Commissioner.

  18. ‘Fit and healthy’ man dies of blood clot days after Covid vaccine

The 55-year-old man, from Tamworth in NSW, died on April 21 as a result of blood clots in his lungs, the Northern Daily Leader reported.
It is unclear what type of vaccine he was given, and it’s unknown whether his death was linked to the vaccine.

The news comes two weeks after the death of a NSW woman, who developed blood clots days after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccination.

‘Healthy fella’: NSW man who died after getting the COVID jab identified

The “fit and healthy” man from Tamworth died in hospital last week about a week after rolling up his sleeve.

Meanwhile, a 71-year-old Sydney man has also died after getting the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
According to 7 News, the man had several underlying health conditions and there’s no evidence his death is linked to the vaccine at this stage.

  19. It’s not a vaccine.
People are lining up to be poisoned.

Arizona lawmaker says she tested positive for COVID-19 despite Pfizer vaccine

She later said on Twitter that she was fully vaccinated and receive the second dose of Pfizer’s shot nearly three months ago.

Even still, Hernandez says she has a fever, migraine and has lost her sense of taste and smell.

All of the FDA-approved vaccines are approved to reduce the chance of contracting the virus and limit severe symptoms if you do, but none of them are a cure.

  21. Morning of Day 2 in Rotorua. Lack of Asian tourists significant. I am more conspicuous than I would prefer. Hoards of school holiday families.
Police cars working Fenton Street (now a 50 km/h speed limit) and pulling speeders doing 55 km/h over. This could be just a cover for the police to monitor Fenton Street crime.
No gang patches seen so far.
Fat brown dudes sitting in front of Dunkin Donuts for a hour in the morning. Tattooed “buskers” abusing music outside some of the cafes new the lake.
A lot of vacant commercial property seen. For example, of the four corner sites on the intersection of Ereura Street and Fenton Street, three of them are vacant. Many more backpacker hotels than I remember.
In general, Rotorua looks like it has taken a punch in the face from the government’s Covid-19 policies. Nevertheless school holiday trade is looking busy. Auckland tourists will save Rotorua, I guess…

    • …..”Auckland tourists will save Rotorua”……

Only until the street assaults, the rapes, the burglaries & the race based targeting of tourists becomes common knowledge. Then the moteliers will lock themselves in fortified housing while the ethnics wreck their units by night & the tradies fix them by day, paid in cash by WINZ who don’t keep records as per the instructions of their racially corrupt Minister.

Rotorua will become another Porirua or Mangere but the stench of the unwashed, work shy low life will be masked by the hydrogen sulphide.

Faced with complaints from parents about the indoctrination of children, an official in Rockwood School District, Missouri, instructed teachers to create two sets of curriculum: a false one to share with parents, and then the real set of curriculum, focused on topics like activism and privilege, according to a memo obtained by The Daily Wire.

  24. From ACT:

    Dear Saggy,
Today the Government released the official advice it got prior to announcing its recent housing changes. It confirms what we already knew. Mum and Dad investors will pay more tax. Some will sell up and some will have to increase rents. Tenants will be hurt.
Here’s what the Government was told:
    • The interest deductibility change will mean the average landlord will pay about $4,125 more in tax.
    • Most landlords will consider increasing rents or selling which will have negative impacts on child poverty and disproportionately impact Māori and Pacific people. This will put pressure on emergency grants, state housing and overcrowding.
    • The Government is also considering a new stamp duty, rent controls, and limiting rent increases to once every 12 months per property (instead of per tenancy).
This is a divisive plan. It punishes Mum and Dad investors and it will hurt renters.
Labour doesn’t seem to get it. New taxes and regulation isn’t the answer to the housing crisis – we need to instead replace the RMA and fix infrastructure funding, as suggested in ACT’s Build like the Boomers plan.
ACT will reverse the interest deductibility change, and repeal the bright-line test, and the stamp duty and rent controls if introduced.
Please forward this email on to anyone who may be interested in signing our petition.

    Yours sincerely,
    Brooke van Velden MP
    ACT Housing Spokesperson

  25. Government considered capping rents to stop landlords passing on increased costs
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2021/04/government-considered-capping-rents-to-stop-landlords-passing-on-increased-costs.html

ACT’s housing spokesperson Brooke van Velden described the policy as a “renter’s tax” because landlords will be forced to pass on the costs to their tenants.

National leader Judith Collins wrote on social media:
“Their own Ministry of Housing and Urban Development told them their recently announced changes will just send rents even higher. Labour needs to understand you can’t pile more costs on to Kiwis and expect that to make housing more affordable.”

  27. Growing older has a shit load of downsides but it does provide its occasional high spots.

One of them is when people try to tie you down to a time & a place. I’ve found that stating that you hesitate to guarantee anything because the mad bitch masquerading as a Prime Minister is as likely as not to have a brain fart & close down NZ tomorrow over some Covid bullshit tends to provoke reactions.

They range between agreement & purse lipped, silent yet palpably hostile disapproval amongst the, normally female, Jacindaphiles.
