  1. I’m so proud, once again Gayotearoa is punching above it’s weight ,we are sending a “man” to Tokyo to beat up the Worlds female weightlifters.
If this “thing” wants to impress me sign up for the Mens heavyweight division in Tokyo, this F- – -King Weirdo is turning our Country into an International laughingstock FFS.

    • What a pathetic cuntry we have become.

1918: The first man to split the atom.

1953: The first man on top of Mt Everest.

2021: The first man to beat girls in sport.

You DO realise, of course, that by using the male gender in ALL of your list, you are now at risk of being labelled a misogynist, racist, of being ‘antifemale, and being anti ‘gay’….

(I thought you should know; if only to ‘prepare yourself’ for the faux outrage which your list will cause)

    • Im ashamed to be a new zealander with shit like this “representing” us.

Out of curiousity dose anyone know its lifting capacity pre vs post transition?
Next we will be sending full grown adults that identify as children to go dominate kids sport.

The hubbard beast should be going to a mental institute not the olympics

    • If I was a female weightlifter I would publicly refuse to participate in this farce and I’d write an open letter to the Olympic committee explaining why. I’d try my best to gather as much support from not only my fellow female weightlifters, but also from athletes from other sports.

    • Its father is a Dick.
But Junior don’t want no Dick.

      Dick Hubbard.
      An oddball ultra Christian .
He used prayer meetings to start work in his Breakfast Cereal company.

He then stood against Banks for Auckland mayor in 2004.
Hubbard had no idea about local body running and when he was elected he thought he could make all the decisions like he could in his cereal company.
In fact there was a CEO already – it was Brian Taylor who was one of the best – and all Hubbard had was one of 20 votes on Council with a casting vote if needed.
      Oh Dear!
In effect he was a lame duck Mayor within a short time and it was cutting ribbons and kissing babies for the next few years.
He was also backed by the communist organisation City Vision so that made him more of an arzehole .

When he was selling out of his cereal company (2009) he wanted it to be all ‘ethical’ so he limited it in potential buyers.
So all he got was a partial (one third) sale to the Rotorua Energy Trust.
Eventually a couple of years ago it was all sold to a decent hard nosed capitalist- Graham Hart.

I guess the son wants to be ‘old mother Hubbard’ rather than ‘old father Hubbard’ to fit the nursery rhyme.
Being a chick with a dick in women’s weightlifting is closer to a nursery rhyme than reality.

      Daddy became Mayor (Mare).
Did the son become a true gelding?

      • From the site liked by Mike Hunty (above):

The governing Council of the Free Speech Union is made up of a group of New Zealanders from across the political spectrum who believe that free speech is a value worth defending. The founding council members are:

        Dr David Cumin – Academic
        Ashley Church – Business Leader
        Patrick Corish – Lawyer
        Melissa Derby – Academic
        Elliot Ikeliei – Politician
        Stephen Franks – Lawyer
Dane Giraud – Writer and Director
        Rachel Poulain – Writer
        Chris Trotter – Political Commentator
        Jordan Williams – Lawyer

        No “farrar moron”

        0

    • I read the blurb from your link, Mike, and thanks for the heads up. I value free speech immensely and I recognise that it’s under threat, but I don’t think that pretending they’re a ‘trade union’ that will protect ‘workers’ free speech’ is either believable or strategically valid.

I won’t be supporting them, either financially or otherwise. They’re on totally the wrong track as far as I’m concerned.

      8

      • Jordan Williams gave a hint of why they moved to union status in his email of yesterday:

…..”We need to stand with people being intimidated, cancelled, deplatformed, piled on by social media, doxxed and threatened with bankruptcy if they seek legal protection.”…..

Having the legal status of a union when a union dominated government is in power is probably a smart move. Makes the organisation much harder to single out & silence when free speech is being curtailed.

        • Nasska
Was that Jordan Williams for the Taxpayers ‘Union’ or ‘Free Speech Union” ?

Williams is generally associated with Farrar.
That does not work for me.

also I have Zero respect for Williams – when he was in court against C. Craig and had to use his Mother as a character reference.
That blew it all out the window for me.
If you are doing that after age 17 there is a problem.
There were not exactly high powered people standing up for Williams and you have to assume he is fairly ineffectual and no threat when the left wing media give him airtime.

There was a ‘spin-off’ about 5-6 years ago of the Taxpayers Union for Auckland Ratepayers Union.
It was apparently endorsed by Williams mob but was basically a lone old pommy lesbian on Waiheke Is. sending out diatribes.
It took some time to stop the bullshit flowing as there was no ‘unsubscribe’

I shall watch developments and keep my cash in my bra for now.
          Or prisoners purse !!

          0

          • Regretfully it is the same Jordan Williams. Since I loathe Colin Craig for what he is & what he stands for I work on the principle that the enemy of my enemy must have a few good, or at least useful attributes.

I take on board your comments about Williams but until someone else puts their hand up & fronts an organisation prepared to expose this governments duplicitous intentions re free speech he’ll have to do.

  2. Nasska hoisted his beer and said, “Here’s to spending the rest of me Life, between the legs of me wife!”
That won him the top prize at the pub for the best toast of the night!
He went home and told his wife, “I won the prize for the Best toast of the night.”
She said, “Aye, did ye now. And what was your toast?”
Nasska said, “Here’s to spending the rest of me life, sitting in church beside me wife.”
“Oh, that is very nice indeed, Nasska!” wifey said.
The next day, wifey ran into one of Nasska’s drinking buddies on the street Corner. The man chuckled leeringly and said, “Nasska won the prize the other night at the pub with a toast about you.”
She said, “Aye, he told me, and I was a bit surprised myself. You know, he’s only been in there twice in the last four years. Once I had to pull him by the ears to make him come, and the other time he fell asleep”

      • Its all very well judging war crimes in ww2 or for that matter any past engagment by the standards of today. However, Countries move on, civilains change in attitude and it is pointless trying to play the blame game or apologise for past atrocities. No country involved in war is ever squeaky clean in terms of its conduct. No one can control the actions of every soldier on a battle field. Atrocities happen. Period. What we need to do is learn from the past and try and not do the same. I read a lot of war history and watch a lot of you tube stuff on this. The bottom line is that in every war the biggest losers are the civilians, in every case. Woman and children, the aged especially. War is Hell. Lets hope we don’t jump into another one.

Donald J Trump started no new wars.

Obviously the anti-Trumpers like NZ Labour Party, NZ Green Party, The NZ Notional Party, D Farrar, All NZ MSM et al prefer war so they will be right behind new wars and atrocities.

      • March 10, 1945

Just past midnight, hundreds of B-29 Superfortress bombers arrived over Tokyo, having launched from the Mariana Islands, which the United States had recently captured from the Imperial Japanese Army at great human cost. The aircraft had largely been stripped of their armaments so that they could carry even more clusters of small incendiary munitions. Young American officers in the sky dropped hundreds of thousands of bomblets on the working-class section of the city, with its densely packed wooden dwellings mainly inhabited at the time by women, children and men too old to fight.

Over several hours, U.S. Army Air Forces warplanes destroyed the shitamachi, or the low-lying section of Tokyo, and killed an estimated 100,000 Japanese citizens in a firestorm.

The United States Strategic Bombing Survey later wrote that “probably more persons lost their lives by fire at Tokyo in a six-hour period than at any time in the history of man.”

The devastating results MOTIVATED military leaders to continue incendiary bombing raids on Japan’s other cities — both large and small — in hopes of forcing the Japanese to surrender.

Before the war’s end, firebombs dropped by B-29s killed hundreds of thousands of Japanese citizens in more than 60 cities before nuclear bombs leveled Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

      • When the Japanese had the power, it was practiced ruthlessly in the Bushido way.

…. starting on December 13, 1937, the day that the Japanese captured Nanjing.
During this period, soldiers of the Imperial Japanese Army murdered disarmed combatants and Chinese civilians numbering an estimated 40,000 to over 300,000, and perpetrated widespread rape and looting …..

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanjing_Massacre

Japan held many prisoner of war, and it was felt if the surrender of Japan could be achieved quickly it was worth doing.

… At the end of the wars Japanese soldiers at prisoner of war camps were told to behead, stab or shoot the 100,000 or so remaining Allied prisoners the moment an invasion began. ….
        http://factsanddetails.com/asian/ca67/sub427/item2531.html

It shows a cruelty on both sides, and the “feelz” that flowed into emotions of belief.
It seems insanity takes hold, into a different reasoning, in those ‘feelz’.

War, takes no stock of niceties, as it becomes survival, by either side.
It seems it con not really be contemplated by professors in armchairs in the nice lounges of their associates as what tips it one way or the other when the dogs of war are unleashed, that then seek power & control over others?

This is private property, some of the tech has been in development for almost 40 years and now govts want to strip rights and patents at the drop of a hat, this is a very dangerous and slippery slope to go down and as we know once govts do something once and get away with ot itll happen more frequent and be turned into some expanding law.

This is plain and simple marxism in action and part of the youll own nothing and be happy, i bet big pharma dodnt think theyd be first on the chopping block. If govts really cared about saving lives why didnt they do this with expensive cancer treatments and other drugs years ago?

  4. Is this a blanant attempt by Labour and the Police to hide figures on crime from emergency housing.
Police, MSD not collecting data on crime at emergency housing.
The Government can’t- or won’t – say if crime is increasing in and around emergency housing, because the police are not collecting that information.
Neither the Police or the Social Development Ministry (MSD) is actively monitoring incidents of violence or family harm in this type of using but encourages people to come forward if they feel at risk.
RNZ has been toldnemerous stories of people being victimized while living in Motels.
In what can be intimidating and violent- with the police often having to tun up.

Not the Nats, not ACT; essentially there isn’t anything on the ‘Right’ that could even mount a small challenge to the coalition.

  8. https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2021/05/provincial-growth-fund-marae-upgrade-announcement-massively-fails-to-deliver-on-jobs.html

Newshub can reveal a major Provincial Growth Fund (PGF) announcement made just days out from the election has massively failed to deliver on jobs.

Almost $100 million was earmarked to upgrade marae across the country. It was meant to create more than 3000 jobs, but with half the money already spent, it’s managed just 5 percent of that: 158 full-time jobs.

The cash splash caused a major backlash at the time.

National leader Judith Collins said it was “extraordinarily arrogant, but worse than that, it’s absolutely verging on corruption of the system”, suggesting NZ First was trying to buy votes.

    • I know one guy who will be happy. About 10-12 years ago I got talking to a lady at a gym I used to go to (before it went broke) and she said her son had got into rentals in a big way about 7-8 years before we were talking (so early 2000s). He had bought 40 houses mainly in Wanganui but also a few in Paihatua. Had it organised well enough that he could afford a manager to look after them and had a maintainence guy “on tap”. He was expanding into Gisbourne at the time.
So if he held onto them he would be doing very well.

  11. I wondered why the story kept being front and center for the kid that spent a night in the bush in Gissy/Tolaga Bay

I also thought, what the hell is a white, blond kid doing in Tolaga Bay but that probably makes me racist !!

So, turns out the family are loser-drongos

    From RNZ.
    I wont link

    They are below trailer trash
    They are tent trash.
    ———————-
“In January, Haley, her partner and FIVE OF HER EIGHT CHILDREN moved to Gisborne and lived two tents – a six and four-bed – putting them up and and pulling them down all around the city.

It reached crisis point when they were fined for camping at the beach by a Gisborne District Council officer.

“She didn’t even ask us to leave anything [she said] ‘well you’re not actually allowed to camp here, here’s a $200 fine’.”

Then, immediately, they were given another fine for using the campsite toilets.

“And she’s like ‘well that’s another $200 fine and if you don’t leave now, you’re going to get into massive trouble’ so I literally had to pack up and leave.”
    —————
    Extract ends

    What a slag
    Eight kids.
    How many daddy’s?
Still having them and does not control them..

No doubt a social welfare sink hole.
The other hole, looks like you only need to yell ‘open sesame’ and the spring loaded thighs open right up.

I’d say she is good for another five kids

Then the communist RNZ goes on about a housing shortage in Gizzy area.
Well when you have these slags breeding and hooking up with work shy blokes then you have the problem.

    ECON.
Demand. From slags breeding lots of workshy offspring
Supply – none. because these workshy dont build houses, do plumbing, electricity etc.
They buy tents from the Warehouse and pitch them illegally to breed some more.

    And
The Gisborne District Council officer. was actually doing her job (for the ratepayers who pay for this) but commie RNZ thinks that is a bad thing.
Yay. lets have lawlessness and people camping and shitting where they like and we, the taxpayer, will pay for them to breed to do more of this.

The media filth are low IQ as well as very dishonest.

Haley Allatt is the ultimate slag and no doubt her upstanding progeny are out breeding as well by now, all with no responsibility.

There is a level below trailer trash; it is tent trash.
So the kid would have been OK sleeping out in the open.

Soon the bluff oyster industry, the mussel industry, will get a big boost, when we will be paid in “sea shells”.
Can not wait, as the government could be so kind, and bag up said shells & distribute them to the public service for their year long hard work for a start.

Greens co-leader Marama Davidson is pushing for rent controls to address homelessness, the crisis she’s responsible for solving.

The Greens have launched a new online tool to show Kiwis just how bad renting is. The median rent price increased 6 percent in the year to March, data from Trade Me shows, and the figure – $540 a week – is the highest on record.

“We know that well over 40 percent of people are paying more than 30 percent of their income on rent and we still have well over 20 percent of people paying over 40 percent of their income on rent. This actually makes it really hard to live a decent life.”

  19. Golf Tomorrow?

A group of guys lived and died for their Saturday morning round of golf. One transferred to another city. It wasn’t the same without him.
A new woman joined their Club. She overheard the guys talking about their golf round. She said, “You know, I used to play on my golf team in college and I was pretty good. Would you mind if I joined you next week?”
The three guys looked at each other. Not one of them wanted to say ‘yes’, but she had them on the spot. Finally, one man said it would be okay, but they would be starting early – at 6:30 a.m.

He figured the early tee-time would discourage her. The woman said this may be a problem, and asked if she could be up to 15 minutes late. They rolled their eyes, but said okay. She smiled and said, “Good, I’ll be there at 6:30 or 6:45.”

She showed up at 6:30 sharp, and beat all three of them with an eye-opening 2-under par round. She was fun and a pleasant person, and the guys were impressed. Back at the clubhouse, they congratulated her and invited her back the next week. She smiled, and said, “I’ll be there at 6:30 or 6:45.”
The next week she again showed up at 6:30 sharp. Only this time, she played left-handed. The three guys were incredulous as she still beat them with an even par round, despite playing with her off-hand. They were totally amazed.
They couldn’t figure her out. She was again very pleasant and didn’t seem to be purposely showing them up. They invited her back again, but each man harboured a burning desire to beat her.
The third week, the guys had their game faces on. But this time, she was 15 minutes late, which made the guys irritable. This week the lady played right-handed, and narrowly beat all three of them.

The men mused that her late arrival was due to petty gamesmanship on her part. However, she was so gracious and so complimentary of their strong play, they couldn’t hold a grudge.
Back in the clubhouse, all three guys were shaking their heads. This woman was a riddle no one could figure out. They had a couple of beers, and finally, one of the men asked her point blank, “How do you decide if you’re going to golf right-handed or left-handed?”

The lady blushed, and grinned. “That’s easy,” she said. “When my Dad taught me to play golf, I learned I was ambidextrous. I like to switch back and forth. When I got married after college, I discovered my husband always sleeps in the nude. From then on, I developed a silly habit. Right before I left in the morning for golf practice, I would pull the covers off him. If his you-know-what was pointing to the right, I golfed right-handed; if it was pointed to the left, I golfed left-handed.”
The guys on the team thought this was hysterical. Astonished at this bizarre information, one of the guys shot back, “But what if it’s pointing straight up?”

She said, “Then, I’m fifteen minutes late.”

What we can be certain about is where religion prospers children are victims of violence & sexual assault. RNZ news has an update on the police investigations into the Gloriavale cult. From the article:

  24. Well worth reading if you are still considering allowing someone to stick a syringe of experimental biological agent in your arm. If you have already had the vaccine, well tough luck, maybe you will pay a little more attention to all those “conspiracy nuts” who have now been shown to have very valid concerns:

“The risk-benefit calculus is therefore clear: the experimental vaccines are needless, ineffective and dangerous. Actors authorizing, coercing or administering experimental COVID-19 vaccination are exposing populations and patients to serious, unnecessary, and unjustified medical risks.” Doctors for Covid Ethics, April 29, 2021

“The vaccines are dangerous to both healthy individuals and those with pre-existing chronic disease, for reasons such as the following: risk of lethal and non-lethal disruptions of blood clotting including bleeding disorders, thrombosis in the brain, stroke and heart attack; autoimmune and allergic reactions; antibody-dependent enhancement of disease; and vaccine impurities due to rushed manufacturing and unregulated production standards….

“…all gene-based vaccines can be expected to cause blood clotting and bleeding disorders…. The vaccines are not safe.”(“COVID Vaccines: Necessity, Efficacy and Safety”, Doctors for Covid Ethics)

Immunization with SARS Coronavirus Vaccines Leads to
Pulmonary Immunopathology on Challenge with the
      SARS Virus

Conclusions: These SARS-CoV vaccines all induced antibody and protection against infection with SARS-CoV. However, challenge of mice given any of the vaccines led to occurrence of Th2-type immunopathology suggesting hypersensitivity to SARS-CoV components was induced. Caution in proceeding to application of a SARS-CoV vaccine in humans is indicated.

Though I do like the point about the ethics, to weigh up more properly the risks, the economy, the people, the damage, and that time is needed for a proper trials, proper autopsies, compared to another way,
To more recognize that vaccines are “Emergency Use Authorization” as by FDA and so should be limited in numbers as New Zealand medsafe mentions, bearing in mind the trials are not complete, until 2023.

  25. Anyone out know how carbon credits work?
I was just looking at a real estate site and saw a property that has 20ht of mature pines on it –planted 1996 and estimated log weight in 2024 = 13,500 tonnes. It says the carbon credit value as at 2021 is $382,000. How does that work?

    5

    0

    • Have the credits already been claimed? Theres alota fish hooks if so.
Its a big ponzi type scam for big corporates and elite investors to plunder taxpayer money.

From a certain age (7?) The trees become eligible for claiming credits its supposedly to give incentive to plant trees via giving owners carbon credits in which they can trade on the open market instead of waiting 25-30years until maturity to get a paycheque.
Theres some formula they use to determine carbon sequestion and the ever increasing payout/credits each year until aprox 26yrs old. Once maturity is reached then in theory the trees are to be felled/milled and the CREDITS repaid… hahahaha nope they dont they just abondon and leave the trees or harvest and declare bankruptcy and avoid repayment, only the honest growers honour the system.

The big scam is currently the credits are capped so at the moment are around $30 per ton of co2 sequestered, the risk is if the caps removed and the price skyrockets then at maturity the owners may have to repay credits at a very high rate eg $100+.

Theres great riskto nz that if the price rises once caps are removed we will end up treebound in the sense we have so many plantations that are too expensive to repay upon harvest so theyre left standing, after 26? Years the trees are no longer eligible for credits.

Storm events that flatten large swathes or forest fires etc all count as felling of trees which in turn trigger the repayment of credits paid.

Another stupid flaw is natural native bush dosent qualify but you can put a dozer through and clear the land and replant with pine or the same natives and then claim credits… winning not!

Part of the scam aswell is plantations under 1000ha the owners cant claim/trade directly and must go through a middle man that clips the ticket heavily, its rigged so the big boys always win and small players get arseraped.

The now-46-year-old said he was forced to dig his own grave at gunpoint and was raped by a supervisor at the Whakapakari camp on Great Barrier Island, which was operational from the late 1970s until 2004.

“We all tried to get out of it. He was just kicking us back down into the grave and stomping on us to get back into the grave and face down.”

Established in the late 1970s by former star wrestler John De Silva, the camp was isolated and basic.

It became a dumping ground for kids the state deemed too hard to deal with. The young people thought they were being sent somewhere safe.
