  1. New Zealand signs too many treaties – over 1900 of them, not including UN declarations.

Declarations are legally non-binding. But as the recent fury over the review of a UN declaration demonstrates, declarations do have consequences.

Our Ministry of Foreign Affairs has never seen a UN treaty it does not want to sign. From experience, I can advise that the Ministry says to Cabinet: “This treaty will have no effect on any existing law or policy. Our international reputation will be damaged if New Zealand does not sign”.

ACT says New Zealand would save $11.2 billion if it was in power, proposing an alternative Budget that would see tax rates cut, minimum wage increases paused and the Zero Carbon Act repealed.

But ACT leader David Seymour believes middle New Zealanders are also “being taxed as if they’re rich”. Currently, those who earn between $48,000 and $70,000 are taxed at a rate of 30 percent.

ACT would cut that to 17.5 percent, which is currently the tax rate for those earning between $14,000 and $48,000. The party says it would also reverse the Government’s new top tax rate.

“ACT’s alternative Budget will make $11.2 billion in savings, taking on $23 billion less debt and deliver $3.8 billion per year in tax cuts.”

  3. Solar panels to be built on NZ farmland. They say they are going to farm sheep or horticulture under the solar panels?

A new company that wants to decarbonise New Zealand’s energy sector is investing $300 million into a solar farm big enough to power a city the size of Hamilton.
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/new-solar-farm-invests-300-million-construct-nzs-largest-powered-stations?auto=0

The plan involves 500,000 solar panels over 500 hectares of land which will provide solar energy to Dargaville, Kaitāia, Whakatāne, Edgecumbe and Whitianga.

    11

      • Solar panel output degrades at about 1/2 percent per year. So in 50 years the solar panel will still produce about 75 percent of their rated capacity and in 100 years will still be producing about 50 percent of their rated capacity. The first modern solar panels ever made 60 years ago are still generating electricity.

        4

        0

          • Most suppliers guarantee their panels will not degrade more than a certain percent in 20-30 years (usually 10% to 20%). That does not mean that they will not continue to output power longer than 20-30 years at a reduced rate. The panels don’t just quit after 20-30 years.

I don’t know what “maintained properly” means. I am assuming you mean wash the dust and bird poo off them occasionally. There is no normal maintenance like your car requires.

    • Can someone tell me where there is a SUCCESSFUL large scale solar “farm” ? These people should just throw the $300mill into the wind.

I should note that I think solar power generation has a place in small scale applications –house roof tops , use in some applications on farms etc. it will never work on a commercial scale for large “solar farm” situations. Otherwise why isn’t North Africa covered with solar farms and a cable linking them to the EU.

Local custom, islam, an innate and totally-cultural inclination towards theft of all and anything (especially when it IS tied down; more of a challenge), illiteracy, lack of intelligence (except to indulge in a culture of theft etc. etc.), Islam, anti-infidel feeling (even WHEN a dollar or two is to be made), superstition, islam, petty local dictatorships (masquerading as islam), etc. etc. etc. and islam…The list is some-what long…

        4

        0

      • You are correct that solar power generation has a place in small applications such as roof mounted arrays for houses.

Having said that, there are also successful large scale solar farms in operation.

Oil and gas will become more and more expensive to extract and solar is getting less and less expensive.

Large solar farms in the middle east are creating solar energy at a cost of US$0.02 per KwHr. Electricity created by burning gas costs US$0.023 per HwHr.

        From a webs search:

“Led by the UAE, Oman and Kuwait, almost 7 GW of renewable power generation capacity is planned to come online by the early 2020s, IRENA estimates.

Meanwhile, renewable energy accounts for 34% of total planned and committed power investments in the Middle East and North Africa, compared with 31% in 2018 and 22% in 2017, according to Apicorp. The region is expected to add 74 GW of total electricity generation capacity within the next five years, it estimated.”

I am obviously a solar power advocate and put a 5.3Kw array on the roof of our house 2-1/2 years ago.

        3

        2

        • Bert youve been greenwashed, so 5.3kw every hour for 10+ hrs a day//

Does it generate 5.3kw or is that just the discharge rate the invertor max out at?

Im very dubious of the solar scam, my fathers been messing around and installing them for council/water telemetary for 30 odd years and while they have their place with some applications theyre frought with problems and panels very rarely last beyond 5-10 years in the wilderness, in town or sheltered maybe better but abrasives blown into them etc wreck them pretty quick and being southland when it snows they fully cease to function untill it melts.

I looked at going off the grid but a diesel generator would have been cheaper for me to run and maintain our energy needs as sunshine hours and lower sun arc down these parts mean i need a system 5-8 times what should be required to keep up with demand.

To make solar efficient enough to be viable you really need sun tracking aswell, you gain another 25% from them, if youre fixed panels youre only ever gunna have mediocre output.

          5

          0

          • Hi SB,
Our array is rated at 5.3 Kw. Over the past 2-1/2 years we have averaged 20.6 KwHr per day or about 4 hours of full output. In the mornings and late evening we get a lot less than 5.3 Kw but over the entire day that is what the panels have produced. Our return on investment has been about 11.5%. So it will take 9 years to recoop the initial outlay. That assumes that the price of power does not go up in the next 9 years!

We can’t get this ROI on money in the bank and hopefully we will also recoup some of this investment if we sell the house before recouping all of the investment.

I am a 73 year old electronic engineer and have thoroughly researched solar energy before investing into this technology. Luckily we live in the North where snow is not a problem. Solar may not be an option for some people, but it is working for us.

    • In respect of these new solar fans, it will be interesting to watch the reaction of the now-conflicted gween;s; on one hand they’ve got their ‘clean gween’ non-polluting solar panels,, on the other these things (the panels (not the gweens, which are already in that sate) are an eyesore and visually -pollute all and everything around them,, while also reducing plant growth under them, as well=as (inconveniently) using rare-earths, and (Mined / oil based) components in their construction.

The silence will be deafening, as will the lack of ‘protest’ by this otherwise / always ‘anti’ group.

Yet had it been a coal (or gold) mine…

It will be interesting to see what develops…

This was justonother play to grab the blue vote that went wrong and now those involved are in damage control to soften the pain.
Thawed freeze: Government softens stance on Public sector pay restraints following
    backlash.
The Government has softens its stance on restraining public sector pay following two meetings with furious Unions.
It will now review the policy a year earlier and will consider cost of living expenses for Public Servants on moderate incomes, Public Service Minister Chris Hipkins said .
This was not a back down and the Goverment had always been happy to discuss cost of living increases.
This doesn’t match his statements last week that Publc Servants earing between$60,000 and $100,000 could only expect a pay increase in ” special circumstances ” with permission of the Public Service Commissioner.

Tea is much more dangerous than beer…
    Please avoid drinking tea.

I discovered this last night. I had drunk 14 beers
up until 3.00am at the pub while my wife was just drinking tea at home.

You should have seen how angry and violent she was when I got home.

I was peaceful, silent and headed for bed as she shouted at me all night long, and even until the next morning.

Please ladies, if you can’t handle your tea, just don’t drink it.

  9. Talking with a son in Queensland who had just been at a BBQ where he had spoken to a Nurse about the “vaccine”. She told him that there was no way in whole wide world that she would be taking the shot. She claimed there was a massive cover-up there with the side effects from it.

While there, a friend of the host turned up looking a little worse for wear…she had been up all night with her husband who had been carted off in an ambulance with an unknown fever. He had soaked the bed with profuse sweating but had no significant temperature…had since been put into isolation. He had the “vaccine” a couple of days earlier.

He told me that they had been under a bit of pressure to take it and had succumbed…I advised him to keep any correspondence relating to this pressure as there could be some Agent Orange type class action further down the track. Told him him he could still dodge the second shot…

Despite reading the anti ‘vaccine’ material sent to him, he replied…”too late, had the second shot yesterday”.

          • So they had been been given a grant, that was for the Wuhan lab, then stopped then renewed funding, then stopped.

The NIH shortly thereafter canceled the grant, stating at the time that the grant’s goal, which was to study how coronaviruses in bats transferred to humans did not “align with … agency priorities.”

The NIH has now reinstated the $7.5 million grant. EcoHealth had already developed a partnership with a WIV laboratory in Wuhan, China, under a five-year NIH grant. It was expected to run through 2024 but was canceled in April.

    • Fauci’s principles are so suspect, that he would have been easy prey to sellout, for his own aggrandizement, power, & greed.
Like many Rino’s, Nino’s Democrats, Labour & Greens, with much of the academia, media, judiciary, as the “long march” through the institutions etc., all with no principles to achieve “collective” means & ends.

Chinese document discussing weaponising coronaviruses provides ‘chilling’ information
      https://youtu.be/kuKPBur_TiI
      10 mins 12 secs : • May 9, 2021
      .
This is just a very short part, as much more detail in the vid.
      .
[Australia] Sky News host Sharri Markson has assessed “chilling” details from a document produced by Chinese military scientists, in which they discussed weaponising SARS coronaviruses five years before the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
      .
Ms Markson said the book was written by People’s Liberation Army scientists and senior Chinese public health officials in 2015.
      .
The documents describe SARS coronaviruses as heralding a “new era of genetic weapons” and said they can be “artificially manipulated into an emerging human – disease virus, then weaponised and unleashed in a way never seen before”.
      .
The Chinese-language paper is called ‘The Unnatural Origin of SARS and New Species of Man-Made Viruses as Genetic Bioweapons’.
      .
“The document also talks about the psychological terror that bioweapons can cause, it’s chilling,” Ms Markson said.
      .
“To be clear … while intelligence agencies suspect, and they’ve been investigating this since early last year, that COVID-19 may be the result of an accidental leak from a Wuhan lab, there is no suggestion it was an intentional release.
      .
“The significance of this paper is that it offers a rare insight into how senior scientists at one of the PLA’s most prominent military universities, where high levels of defence research were conducted, were thinking about biological research.”

      .
That is why Trump pointed to China, but the Democrats, Biden etc, had already been bought by the CCP.
      .
Will Ardern raise these concerns at the highest level?
How and by how much has she been bought, or is it just simply, “yes comrade”.
      .
Mahuta say anything? that supposedly threatens her most susceptible peoples?

      .
~ An NIH grant that involved the modification of bat-based coronaviruses and the transfer of $600,000 to the Wuhan Institute of Virology prior to the pandemic bypassed P3CO review because the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, led by Anthony Fauci, didn’t flag the project for review.

I was going to plant some native bush but now I can’t risk it being reassessed by an unelected racist apartheid maori board, so it’ll stay in grass. Hopefully I’ll still be able to build on it for my retirement in a few years, but as so many in the surrounding community live in containers I guess I’m safe for awhile.

A South African doctor from the Hawkes Bay (Elizabeth I think) called to defend the jabs. I was appalled by how uninformed she was. The final straw was when Peter asked about the compulsion for Border workers was the comment that requiring border workers to have the jab was no different from requiring workers to wear hard hats or other safety gear. Unbelievable as far as I know you can take the hard hat off when you leave work.

But back to your query over the relevant outrage over child abuse if the kids are Christian vs Judaic. Religion is a numbers game in its impact on the society which tolerates the garbage. In the last census that made sense (2018) over 50% of participants had no religion. Then there were about 173,000 Catholics BUT only 5274 Jews, about the population of urban Carterton.

IMHO this is why Jewish issues fail to get traction.

In the pouring rain outside Parliament, dozens of people took part today in a Lie Down for Life protest calling for better access to modern medicines – with hundreds participating in solidarity across the country.

Patient Voice Aotearoa’s chairperson, Malcolm Mulholland, read out the names of 50 New Zealanders who have died due to a lack of access of drugs, including Blair Vining’s name.

“It is a disgrace, and completely at odds with the current Government’s ‘be kind’ rhetoric. It is quite simple — unless the Government acts, New Zealanders will continue to die without adequate access to modern medicines,” Mulholland said.

“Kiwis are becoming medical refugees and fleeing to Australia to access medicine that they should be able to access here,” he said.

National leader Judith Collins is not backing down from questioning Māori co-governance proposals despite the Māori Party accusing her of racism.

“I will continue to ask questions on the constitutional nature that the Prime Minister’s clearly got some plans around, until she starts to answer those questions directly,” Collins said on Wednesday, following a heated debate in Parliament.

“I’m the leader of the Opposition. I’m not going to have my head petted and be told to sit down and be a good little girl.”

Waititi interrupted Collins as she put questions to Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern about He Puapua, a Government report commissioned in 2019 that sets out a roadmap to co-governance between the Crown and Māori by 2040.

Mice have been running rampant through large tracts of inland NSW and parts of southern Queensland, destroying crops and causing significant damage to tonnes of stored hay and grain.

Torrential rain and cooler temperatures were hoped to put a significant dampener on their numbers ahead of the sowing of the winter crop, however both have had little impact in only a few areas.

“It’s not just farm businesses – regional hotels, retail and food businesses, bakeries, supermarkets, childcare centres and aged care homes have also felt the impact,” CWA chief executive Danica Leys said.

  23. Cast ya eyeballs over this trendsetters..off Facebook. Bit long but needs sunlight.
    “Good afternoon all
I manage a national contracting business and as part of that process I get access to government tenders. On Thursday morning I was shocked to receive an email from GETS (Government Electronic Tender Service) that they have moved to a race based tender system. I posted the following post on the One New Zealand Party FB page and I note that John Ansell has also shown a similar type of move from the Reserve Bank. Please continue to do what you can to push back against such blatant racism.
There is a copy of what I got in the email below.
Apartheid Takes Precedents Over Price and Performance
“It’s official, On 3 December 2020, following a Cabinet agreement, the New Zealand Labour Government announced a new Apartheid procurement policy with a focus on ensuring that government agency tenders are chosen on a racial bias. The agency is forced to seek out suppliers based on their race and not their ability to provide goods and services based on price or performance. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Apartheid rule is that at least 5% of the total number of their annual procurement contracts MUST be awarded to Maori businesses.
All government agencies procuring any goods and services must provide a report that shows that from 5% to 100% of their procurement is from race-based Maori businesses. A Maori business is defined as either a Maori authority as classified by IRD, or a business that has at least 50% ownership.”
This is clear discrimination against otherwise well run non-raced-based businesses because Maori businesses will get not only an economic advantage i.e., Maori businesses get tax advantages, they now get a racial advantage too.
This move by the New Zealand Labour Government will make it legal for a government agency to source 100% of its entire procurement budget from Maori businesses. Can you imagine the potential for corruption as there are more and more governmental positions appointed solely to forward a Maori agenda.
New Zealanders must say NO to Apartheid! “

Other than the 3 deaths which of course had nothing to do with the vaccine.
Perhaps he should have a look at the Aussie reporting system where people are texted following a vax. 102,000 responses now to 2nd dose pfizer 74% overall response rate. 59.5% report adverse reactions, 22.6% time off work etc and 1.8% requiring medical intervention.
As it is done by txt it is likely to miss the really serious cases and a number of the elderly.
What other vaccine would have numbers like these?

    Reserve Bank Theocracy

If you find yourself a little grim about the gills, or damp and drizzly in your insides, spare a thought for Sam (not his real name) who started work this year at the Reserve Bank. Or as it is now known, Te Pūtea Matua.

Sam’s plight will make your woes less dire while giving you a quick shortcut to describe the nonsense of government.

Each morning Sam must confront the God of the Forest or Tāne Mahuta. Tāne is not a thing, a block of wood, or a sculpture. No. Tāne is a sentient spirit keeping his eye on poor Sam.

Sam knows this because Assistant Governor Christian Hawkesby recently devoted an entire address to the Institute of Directors explaining how the God of the Forest is watching over Sam and all who toil at the Bank.

“Each day as we walk through the security gates to enter our Wellington offices, Tāne Māhuta looks back at us as a reminder of our responsibility.”

That responsibility is to ensure that “Tāne will not wilt and lose mana”.

Mr Hawkesby’s Address makes clear that it is not just him on a New Age journey of discovery but the entire Bank and all who sail in her.

What is poor Sam to do? He could perhaps write a polite email:

    Dear Mr Hawkesby

I read with disquiet your 6th May address to the Institute of Directors.

I am a devout Jew/Christian/Muslim. I consider your Tāne Mahuta idolatrous and sinful. It is blasphemy.

I respect your right to your religious views but in return you must respect my right to mine.

Your religious views are a private matter between you and your God/s. They are not a matter for the workplace.

New Zealand also enjoys religious tolerance by keeping the state and church separate. The government and its organisations don’t profess a religious view.

That separation has enabled people of different faiths to live and work together without the violence and upheaval that bedevilled the world historically and which sadly still blights much of the planet. We don’t live in a theocracy.

I respectfully ask that your Tāne Mahuta be removed. That’s for you and your fellow believers in your private time. You can worship him or anyone you like, and build whatever shrine meets your fancy, but such worship and such shrines have no place in the workplace and certainty no place on a state agency.

    Yours sincerely.

What would happen to Sam if he wrote such a letter? I doubt his defence of enlightenment values would enhance his career.

He either has to play along or leave.

He will no doubt play along just like all others who choose to work for the government and now, sadly, all those who attend school or go to university. Bit by bit, day by day, his self-respect, integrity and his rational mind must be eroded. The Reserve Bank of New Zealand reveres a block of wood as the God of the Forest. He mustn’t question that. He must just go along with it.

His boss, whom he must respect and be mentored by, is on “a journey” into New Age animism. His boss sees nothing wrong in having the rest of us pay for his journey and his worship.

Indeed, it appears Mr Hawkesby works for his god rather than us. He says it’s his job to make sure Tāne Māhuta doesn’t wilt and lose mana.

Officially, Mr Hawkesby is responsible for formulating monetary policy, providing liquidity in financial markets, managing the foreign reserves, operating interbank payment and settlement systems, and the circulation of currency.

I am a libertarian. It’s wrong to have a bunch of bureaucrats monopolising and manipulating our money. I no longer need to have a long and tedious debate about modern monetary theory. I need only declare that the fellow in charge thinks a block of wood in the foyer is keeping an eye on him. In that one observation the intellectual edifice of big government comes crashing down.

If he believes that, he will believe anything. Facts and reason mean nothing to him. He has no understanding of the proper role of government or proper limits of policy.

The Bank and the Government can no longer claim the intellectual high ground. Tāne Mahuta has taken care of that. We are truly blessed.

  27. The Grandmother of all Blonde Jokes

This blonde decides one day that she is sick and tired of all these blonde jokes and how all blondes are perceived as stupid.

So, she decides to show her husband that blondes really are smart.

While her husband is off at work, she decides that she is going to paint a couple of rooms in the house.

The next day, right after her husband leaves for work, she gets down to the task at hand.

Her husband arrives home at 5:30 and smells the distinctive smell of paint. He walks into the living room and finds his wife lying on the
floor in a pool of sweat. He notices that she is wearing a heavy parka and a leather jacket at the same time.

He goes over and asks her if she if OK. She replies yes. He asks what she is doing and she replies that she wanted to prove to him that not all blonde women are
dumb, and she wanted to do it by painting the house.

He then asks her why she has a parka over her leather jacket. She replies that she was reading the directions on the paint can and it said …

“There’s only about 150 EVs at the moment. This announcement today quadruples that to 500, so that’s great progress but there’s a lot more to go,” Shaw said.

The Department of Conservation will be receiving $4 million for 118 new electric vehicles and charging stations, with the stations costing $10,000 each.

One of DOC’s current EVs is on Stewart Island/Rakiura, but it has no charging station so needs to run on petrol or charge on a diesel generator. The utes needed for the rest of the fleet would not be ready to buy for at least another year.

  29. Professor Explains Flaw in Many Models Used for COVID-19 Lockdown Policies
    By Andrew Chen
    May 10, 2021 Updated: May 11, 2021
    biggersmaller Print

Economics professor Doug Allen wanted to know why so many early models used to create COVID-19 lockdown policies turned out to be highly incorrect. What he found was that a great majority were based on false assumptions and “tended to over-estimate the benefits and under-estimate the costs.” He found it troubling that policies such as total lockdowns were based on those models.

  30. DECLARATION OF CANADIAN PHYSICIANS FOR SCIENCE AND TRUTH

    The Declaration
We are a broad and diverse group of Canadian physicians from across Canada who are sending out this urgent declaration to the Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons of our various Provinces and Territories and to the Public at large, whom we serve.
On April 30, 2021, Ontario’s physician licensing body, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), issued a statement forbidding physicians from questioning or debating any or all of the official measures imposed in response to COVID-19. 1
The CPSO then went on to threaten physicians with punishment – investigations and disciplinary action.
We regard this recent statement of the CPSO to be unethical, anti-science and deeply disturbing.
As physicians, our primary duty of care is not to the CPSO or any other authority, but to our patients.

  35. The Government’s wage subsidy scheme may have incorrectly paid out billions of dollars to ineligible businesses, and this is not being audited.

That’s the conclusion to be taken from the Auditor General’s report, released yesterday. It is highly critical about the lack of checks and balances on a scheme that has doled out $14bn to businesses.

The issue goes back to the launch of the wage subsidy scheme, when questions were raised about whether the scheme would be vulnerable to fraud and corruption, and cost much more than was required to keep the economy going. In response to these concerns, the Government promised audits would take place. Since then, whenever critics have again questioned the probity of the scheme, politicians have deflected this by claiming that the necessary audits were being carried out. It turns out that audits have not taken place, and various assurances about the integrity of the system amount to political spin.

1999 patents of corona virus came up.
2003, the small out break in Asia. and more patents, disease, virus, and to its detection and all of the measurement of it,
Connects Fauci and number of others controlled the cash flow that started.

So patent filed, but the legality shows the deviousness is illegal. Double jeopardy.

2007 a petition to keep application confidential & private.

Patent then means that control of who was authorized or not to make inquiries to research, use, develop a test or measure.

Means, motive monetary gain, to make profit from the virus.

    2012-2013
Federal funding for research, became impaired, as NIH questions legality of “gain of function” should be stopped, or is it just suspended, but, …..
Notices sent to stop, but clarified at the bottom not really.
More heat, questions then forced the move off shore in 2014 or was that part of the plan?
Sums up well how the blame is put.

Just remember the names who were in the thick of this, 🙁
