  1. Healthcare for nz cost a staggering amount of money. (22.2bil) https://i.stuff.co.nz/national/health/125152531/health-sector-needs-nearly-222-billion-just-to-stand-still

I know many of you folk on here are suckers for free universal healthcare but imo its time changes are made, the cost keep going up and up and is almost unsustainable esp with a destructive govt and no incentives to lead a healthy life.

Personally i think it needs to start heading into a subsidy type system, id like to see it done away with entirely but thats unpalatable to many so why not hovt subsidize say 80% of healthcare costs? Having a 20% finacial penalty would be enough to wake a few folk up and takea bit of personal responsibility, i also dont see the current system very fair where a small portion of the population absorb a large chunk of the funding, surely someones life has a cutoff point to the public funding they recieve, imo it should have a lifetime cap and once exceeded pay it yourself why should 1 person get 500k of healthcare whilst another gets 20k and it costs us all the same in tax? Cindys all about equality isnt she…

    • I can’t see that working. The parasites would be exempt and the hard working taxpayers would still have to fork out. I do agree with the concept though. A lot people I associate with. Don’t seem to take any responsibility for their health. Eat crap, don’t exercise and drink too much. Happy to take any medication. They will all line up for their jab. Most have businesses, trades or a degree. But they all only live in the present. Cindy lovely. Trump bad!

    • I won’t down tick you southern man but will say it is a daft idea.
Just stay away from Lumsden Poteen.

The ‘unwaged’ and ‘working poor’ etc will still not pay anything and yet the working and those who make the effort will still pay their taxes (they will not be reduced) and pay an additional charge for medical.

This is like saying do not have a pension for those who have saved in their working life because they are well off.
This always leads to the same conclusion.
Those who never saved will get looked after (even long term wasters, Shane’s nephs on the couch) and the workers who paid the taxes have to self fund.

Then you need to apply the same in education.
      It gets messy.
It also discourages people from maintaining health if they have to pay.

      I understand your sentiment.
there is currently no real incentive to look after your own health.

Well there is a clear and present danger in other aspects Right NOW to be concerned about

      – Three waters and handover to Maori of control of water. Sure it will start with 50% of the South Island, then North Island then more percent until a full control
      This is under Mahutas.

-Conservation land. DOC controls (badly in my opinion) one third of the land area of NZ. It is under-resourced to do so and in addition like the other marches through the institutions the Wrong people are getting on control.
There are moves to place this under maori control as ‘guardian of the land’ (Puke).
Have you tried to climb Mt Tarawera in the last 20 years. See what happens. Licenced thugery is what.

      -Councils. Another ‘review’ under Mahutas.
You may laugh at her but she has tremendous power at present – as much as a Bill Birch or Steven Joyce in times gone by .
The whole structure of councils, is being looked at and done by a tribalist Maori person.

These are ****clear and present danger***

The rework of the Health system – destroying DHBs – will be a massive cock up like everything Ardern’s mob touch.
They dont care. Power is the key.
Power and control for its own sake.
Combine all this with the attack on free speech (from whose perspective ?) and the shit is already spraying off the fan.

      • Im about 15mins from lumsden mate, havent seem any spud juice floatin around the place… plenty of magic mushrooms at the moment tho.

Tbh with health id like to see universal healthcare gone and replaced with user pays but thats highly unpopular especially with the older sponges and those with irresponsible lifestyles.
I could stomach the current system if it was capped at a per person $$$limit, i also see it pointless providing public funded cancer treatments and other life extending treatments to those older then the average life expectancy, total waste of money imo.
Harsh and blunt opinion i know but in reality its probably what needs to happen to sustain it in the long run.

Higher quality healthcare and outcomes for fewer people… quality over quantity in other words.
The major flaw is diddling by politicians/wealthy/elite.

    • Came up with this in looking in googling for Prosser.
As time has past, it can show an interesting “take” on things. 🙂

Back in May 2011 Prosser wrote this in Investigate magazine. page 5.

On pages 22 – 27 Ian Wishart has an article about China’s growth & expansion.

“She was just trying to comfort you.  What’s so

  5. The lead article on newscrub has a “political commentator” accusing Collins of race baiting. This commentator just happens to be Shane Te Pou who is a labour party activist and further to the left than Karl Marx. Why do they insist on treating us as morons who are incapable of making informed decisions on our own? Another nail in the coffin for the worst news source this side of Stuffed. 6. Did anyone hear Hosking this morning about the TV3 poll? Half of those were online and were given a choice of who should be the National Party leader. The choices included John Key which was intended to bring Collins vote down. Does TV3 get government funding?

    20

    0

    • TV3 is massively funded by the taxpayer.
It is like Working For Families (WFF)
TV3 /new shub/media jerks is subsidised by NZ On Air.
      Bigly.
It is a beneficiary, so like all beneficiaries, one needs to consider their ramblings in context.

Notwithstanding, mediajerks is 100% owned from overseas. Discovery channel.
All the crap that is called ‘comedy’ 7 Days, Jono and Ben , Golriz’s blithering dildo etc is paid for by the taxpayer.
Shows like the Sat morning political show is fully funded (was up to 2017, hard to dig out now) ; soppy/soapy stuff like Westside was fully funded.
TV3 spend the rest on ‘reality crap’ and cheap repetitive yankee cop shows.

NZ on Air used to have far better reporting – excellent in fact- but like everything polluted under the scabby sick, sixth Labour Govt, real facts are buried deep.
      Transparency has been usurped.
But Trannies are OK with them.

for funding dig your way through this.
      https://www.nzonair.govt.nz/news/?type=latest-funding
      eg
-Patrick Gower On…2, 2 x 44 mins, Ruckus Media for Three, up to 31,750

see further waste and Maori TV is fully funded (hence no ads as far as I know) and when it was transparent was at $60 million a year in 2017.
Most NZ Govt info stops at 2017.
eg Tumeke Space S1: Part 1, 5 x 22 mins, Mukpuddy for HEIHEI, up to 217,400
or Ahikāroa 4, 20 x 26 mins, Kura Productions for Māori Television, up to 88,050
some real wasteful crap in there.
      Frighteningly so.

The annual report was attached to the main web page.
Now if it is there I challenge you to find it, but there is a ‘Diversity Report’
I understand NZ on Air is about $130 million a year to the taxpayer from 2019 figures (plus Maori TV)
Of course there would have been a massive distortion in this in 2020 with all the govt funded media adverts/propaganda

The real question you need to ask.
Is Tova N0’Brain a doe eyed lezzie (or a 12 year old boy) madly in in love with Ardern in an infatuation that is not returned ?
Is Wee Tova confused that Ardern is in the NZ Labour Pardy and not actually a lezzie ?

So roll your shitty sleeve up now
And to the new world order bow.
And if your fucking cock drops off,

  8. IRISH TALKING CLOCK
After closing time at the bar, a drunk was proudly showing off his
new Apartment to a couple of his friends.
He led the way to his bedroom where there was a big
    brass gong and a mallet.
‘What’s that big brass gong?’ one of the guests asked..
‘It’s not a gong. It’s a talking clock,’ the drunk replied.
‘A talking clock? Seriously?’ asked his astonished friend.
‘YUP, it is’ replied the drunk.
‘How’s it work?’ the friend asked, squinting at it.
‘Watch,’ the drunk replied. He picked up
the mallet, gave the gong an
    Ear-shattering pound and stepped back.
The three stood looking at one another for a moment…….
Suddenly, someone on the other side of the wall screamed,

‘You ASSHOLE! It’s 3:15 in the MORNING!’

      https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/300308009/covid19-gaming-billionaire-and-john-key-outline-very-different-postpandemic-futures
…Speaking two hours later, Key outlined a possible darker future. He said widespread reluctance to get vaccinated could see the gains slip away as borders reopened, and outbreaks become more prevalent than in well-vaccinated countries.

“I am amazed at how many people I run into who aren’t going to take the vaccine. Well-educated, thoughtful, good people.”…

      John Key is an arze.
      A pro-poison person
      Fill those veins.
Just like he filled our Largest city with unskilled liquor store workers and uber drivers.
300,000 in 4 years and no houses for them to live in.

COVID Vaccines: Necessity, Efficacy and Safety
    Doctors for Covid Ethics

Abstract: COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers have been exempted from legal liability for vaccine-induced harm. It is therefore in the interests of all those authorising, enforcing and administering COVID-19 vaccinations to understand the evidence regarding the risks and benefits of these vaccines, since liability for harm will fall on them.
In short, the available evidence and science indicate that COVID-19 vaccines are unnecessary, ineffective and unsafe.

  15. Chris Trotter, on this shows up the control media exerts in the questions asked in the Reid poll.
    .
….. Expecting the mainstream media to acknowledge its own deficiencies as the supposed protector and facilitator of democratic discussion and debate has become unrealistic.
It no longer sees its role in such terms.
Its responsibility, now, is to impart the truth – as officially defined – to the population, while doing everything within its power to ensure that this official version of reality is not effectively challenged by anyone – up to and including the Leader of the Opposition. ….
    .
….. It would also, almost certainly, have shown that most Kiwis know next-to-nothing about He Puapua, or its recommendations; and that, when appraised of some of the report’s more radical proposals, their responses tend to be less than favourable. ….
    .
…. It’s a game played out every day in Moscow and Beijing.
The only serious distinction between the players there, and the players here, being that ‘there’ they know that the name of the game is “Propaganda”; while ‘here’ they still think it’s called “Journalism”.

  16. Covid 19 coronavirus: Government social media moderators set to pounce on vaccine misinformation

An army of Government social media moderators are set to pounce on vaccine misinformation spread online and quickly counter it with facts.
And the vaccination campaign won’t aim to convert the “hardcore” 10 per cent of Kiwis likely to outright refuse to get jabbed, and will instead focus on convincing the “vaccine hesitant”.

Those who will need more convincing were found to be women, Māori and Pasifika, in a lower household income and between 35 to 44 years old.
Other findings of the representative surveys of almost 1500 Kiwis conducted in September and December were:
    • 18 per cent (about 652,600 adults) were unlikely to have a follow-up dose if required.
    • Māori were marginally more likely to get vaccinated if they could talk to someone they trust about it.
    • 21 per cent would not get a vaccine if they saw a credible-looking social media post or video which alarmed them or opposed the vaccine.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/money/2021/05/small-increase-in-ocr-will-hit-mortgage-holders-hard-economist.html

NZ, the biggest of the ‘big four’ banks in New Zealand, says it expects the OCR to increase 400 percent – from its present 0.25 percent to 1.25 percent – by the end of 2023. ASB thinks it’ll hit that mark in early 2024.

The Reserve Bank will meet to decide its next move on May 26, after the delivery of this week’s budget.

“There is no question that the picture is evolving and that it is getting harder to argue that super-stimulatory monetary policy is the medicine that the economy needs for a prolonged period,” said ANZ chief economist Sharon Zollner.

  18. So how are Labour going to get “the nephs” off the couch and out working?

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2021/05/concerns-for-migrant-workers-temporary-visa-holders-as-govt-s-immigration-overhaul-slammed-as-racist.html

Migrant workers are reeling after the Government outlined its plans to close the door to low-skilled labour, leaving temporary visa holders in limbo and raising questions about racism, exploitation and families’ futures.

On Monday night, Economic Development Minister Stuart Nash – filling in for an unwell Immigration Minister, Kris Faafoi – delivered a speech to business leaders in Auckland regarding the Government’s proposed immigration overhaul.

He reiterated the Government’s intention to target high-skilled workers and wealthy investors while shifting away from low-skilled migrant labour, suggesting a crackdown on temporary visas is imminent.

    • High-skilled workers and wealthy investors won’t pick fruit.
What incentive do “the nephs” have for fruit picking?
      – The fruit is far away from the whanau
      – The government pays a living dole that can be topped up with undocumented work-for-cash
      – The “nephs” simply have no incentive to get off the couch
      – The “nephs” families won’t put any pressure on them to work

To date, the media has swamped us with articles about the countless demands and accusations from the Maori Sovereignty Movement. VaxChallenge: Nga Kaitiaki Tuku Ihu Medical Action Society Incorporated v The Minister of Health – Court Decision

The High Court has just released its decision on the urgent challenge to the Pfizer vaccine approval and vaccination rollout plan, agreeing with the plaintiff that it was reasonably arguable that the Minister’s approval was unlawful.

Her Honour Justice Ellis has agreed that everyone in New Zealand over 16 is not a limited number of patients, and so the decision is arguably ultra vires the requirements of s23 of the Medicines Act, and she has urged the government to reconsider the lawfulness of the provisional consent they granted for the Pfizer vaccine.

Her Honour stopped short of ordering the vaccine rollout to stop, out of concern of undermining public confidence in the vaccine and wasting vaccine stock that is already in New Zealand.

You can read the full decision here- https://kti.org.nz/?page_id=315

Seems like a bit of a cop out and no consequences for a government that is breaking the law. Good though that she says the decision is made on the basis that the vax is not mandatory.

    • TV1 6pm news only barely acknowledged “a court case”. That’s all the country’s propagandists gave to Sue’s High Court challenge to the clown car for rolling out covid vaccines to everyone over 16. Will NZ’ers lose control over choosing their own medical treatment?

I know, give myself an uppercut for watching the lying pricks! 🥴

    • Yes Curious, if it was just a “technicality” as the over paid Government lawyers are now saying why did they let it go to Court and not just remedy it at the time? Answer —arogance !!!
The Judge seems to have come to her decision quite quickly so it is was obviously a fairly simple straight forward issue for her.

  24. NEW ZEALAND MEDIA’S DISGRACEFUL ALLIANCE WITH DISCREDITED PARTISAN ASSOCIATED PRESS

We’ve known for years Associated Press is a fake news organisation. Partisan liars. Yesterday they told one of the biggest lies ever, and yet NZ media, like a drug addict who can’t get enough of the stuff that is killing them, keeps syndicating their lies. A recent survey showed NZ media at its lowest level of trust ever. That level won’t improve while they continue to reproduce lies from the AP.

Canterbury brewery owner resigns from company after offensive social media post
The owner and director of a beer brewing company under fire after an offensive online post about Māori has resigned.

    BUT
Marilyn Yosores, co-owner of Eagle Brewing and Gaughan’s partner, informed shareholders via email that Gaughan would be resigning his position as owner/director and transferring his nearly 75 per cent shares to her. She currently holds 17 per cent of the shares also.

Local Māori were urged to boycott the business by their tribe leader, with Ngāi Tūāhuriri upoko (head) Te Maire Tau saying Gaughan did not reflect the multicultural town of Kaiapoi, but that he had been “exposed for what he is”.

REALLY. Kaiapoi has violent history in Maoridom.

    • This Canadian woman, wisely & steadily and brings a great perspective of the numbers, in what drives Covid and the alleged Climate Change.

      COVID Policies….or Climate Policies
      https://youtu.be/XNYlAO-FHio
      13 mins 02 secs : • May 13, 2021

COVID and climate policies share a fundamental problem – computer simulations (also known as models) drive them.
They also share a common challenge – the silencing or shaming those who question either set of policies.

Recently, elected officials have started calling lock-down protestors ‘white supremacists’ because the protestors used Tiki torches or images from the Charlottesville.
It should be noted that the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) feels so strongly about freedom of speech for EVERYONE – including bigots – that they have gone to court to ensure that even bigoted views could be heard.
While this seems reprehensible to Canadians, freedom of speech is also integral to our Charter, as is the right to peacefully protest.

This video explains that the lockdowns originated with someone who has offered many failed predictions in the past, and who is not qualified in epidemiology.
Recently, Prof. Douglas Allen of Simon Fraser University has done a study of lockdown policies through 80 academic papers, finding that there are many flaws in the inputs.
The Epoch Times reports that: “Based on his lost-life calculation, lockdown measures have caused 282 times more harm than benefit to Canadian society over the long term, or 282 times more life years lost than saved.”

Clearly, most of the people protesting lockdowns are ordinary Canadians who are suffering from bad COVID policies – they do not deserve to be called names for speaking up for their rights and needs.

Now people see the real damage that faulty models cause society – the same thing is happening with climate policies and their reliance on equally poor climate models.

It is time for open, civil debate – not more name-calling.
An adult debate on COVID and Climate policies is necessary before the climate activists try to impose ever more damaging climate lockdowns on society.

Environmental groups are developing a new hostility towards electric cars, and for once, their arguments are worth listening to. Massey students and staff do not have to pay for trips thanks to a scheme funded by the university, Horizons and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency.

Despite that, patronage on Massey bus services has fallen 61 per cent year-on-year.

Horizons’ transport manager Rhona Hewitt said the pandemic had a massive impact on passenger services, which were taking some time to recover.

But watch the video. Tells us a lot more.

    • …..”Buses are a scam on the ratepayer”…..

Ditto in the Wairarapa. Massive buses that could cart upwards of fifty passengers travel around Masterton & down to the lower valley seldom with more than three seats occupied including that of the driver who must have the loneliest job in the region.

Provide the service & the public will support it say the socialists. Isn’t ten years of lack of patronage long enough for the wankers to admit they’re wrong?

  29. This change goes beyond mere consultation and puts unelected advisors in a position to directly impose costs on Carterton District Council ratepayers.
Elected members have an incentive not to increase pressures on ratepayers, lest they get turfed out by voters. Unelected members don’t have this incentive. This moral hazard is compounded by the fact that most Māori land is exempt from rates, meaning marae members won’t bear the costs of the council initiatives they push through.

Isnt there 1000 mongrel mob in prison? Or is that gang members in general? Even so do they really think theyve locked up 12% of gang members haha doubt it, their estimates are way out.

Judith Collins is lashing out against a Ministry of Education initiative that speaks of the importance of recognising “white privilege”, saying those behind it “should be sacked”.

One part of the initiative’s “blueprint” mentions the need to build critical consciousness, which it says means “recognising white privilege”.

“Building critical consciousness means reflecting critically on the imbalance of power and resources in society, and taking anti-oppressive action to do something about it for the better,” it says.

“It means recognising white privilege, understanding racism, inequity faced by Māori and disrupting that status quo to strengthen equity.”

  34. IMPORTANT.
Sue Grey has requested as many people as possible send the email below to their MP and share it far and wide.
Obviously you can change the wording to suit if you wish. Needs to be done tonight or early tomorrow on the latest.

    Dear MP
The High Court ruled today in Nga Kaitiaki Tuku Iho Medical Action society Inc v Minister of Health and others [2021] NZHC 1107 that it is reasonably arguable that the provisional consent for the Pfizer vaccine is unlawful.
The government has responded by announcing it will change the law tomorrow without consultation or due process.
This is not just a technical law change.
Medsafe used the s23 “Provisional Consent” process because their own advisors said they could not give it a full s20 consent for everyone in NZ over 16 because the safety, efficacy and integrity testing was incomplete.
This is not surprising because so far there has been only two months of study, and the full clinical trials wont be finished until 2023. The approved data safety sheet and Risk Management Plan identify an array of risk, uncertainties and possible harm.
IN SIMPLE TERMS NOBODY KNOWS IF THIS NOVEL mRNA VAX IS SAFE, IF IT STOPS INFECTION OR TRANSMISSION, or IF THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS HAS INTEGRITY.
The vaccine could not be approved because it fails the simple s22 test of showing the benefits exceeds the risks.
The proposal to change the law tomorrow IS NOT a minor technical change. It is a change that will protect Pfizer at the expense of public safety.
As an ELECTED REPRESENTATIVE your duties are to the public of New Zealand. These duties include:
    * the duty to act in the public interest
    * the duty to uphold the rule of law and treat the law with respect
    * the duty to promote best medical practice and approve a medicine only where the benefit exceeds the risk, especially when the intent is to inject healthy people against a disease that is not here,
    * a duty to engage your brains and think – Pfizer demanded an indemnity and confidentiality before they would supply here- ie they don’t trust the safety of their own experimental product
    * a duty to uphold the NZ Bill of Rights and the freedoms it protects
    * respect for democracy including the requirement that all laws have social license from the public especially before our health is put at risk or our rights are removed

    • No point, the corrupt fucks ar the beehive will create, destroy and bend laws as they see fit to suit their agenda and narrative.

Good on sue for her win and its great that someone stood up and held them to account but in reality its all in vain if they just do jiggery pokery to bend the law to suit anyway.

Unless someone successfully puts a manslaughter or murder charge on the cunts for a vax death then they will continue on with their current plan.

      7

      0

      • I suspect you are right. I don’t really expect the email to make a difference but at least I have said my bit.
A manslaughter charge will be more likely to succeed if they have been repeatedly warned.

        4

    • Good on Sue for continuing to push it.
Gutless Chris Bishop did not even stop to think for one second before he took the knee. To think people are actually thinking of him as a future leader.

One point –I thought Pfizer has immunity from prosecution.

      6

      0

      • apparently, BUT do those giving the needle get immunity, do the MP’s who pass this change get immunity and why should they?
If you were a DR would you prescribe this?
will the charges be manslaughter, death by misadventure or murder and will the coroners cover it up when that arises, as is currently looking like being the case in Remuera?

        2

        0

    • So how is it that NZ medsafe, who by by passes the FDA of the USA of EUA of “Emergency Use Authority” on their NZ systems, that pan out as not being good enough.
That now revolves around the government has to under urgency make amendments to the law.

At the same time the same NZ med safe can capriciously with-hold use of HCQ, Ivermectin, fenofibrate to be prescribed by Doctors, as raised in comment above:-
      https://ysb.co.nz/have-your-say-763/#comment-144733
Note in the video on the Vladtepes blog where Australia has banned effective treatment, and it seems New Zealand is deviously doing the same.

National & ACT should be questioning why the above medicines and others can not be prescribed by Doctors for Covid patients.
That needs to be explained, as a matter of “urgency”

Then people will have real choice,
The choice being the ‘short-term’ anti gens created by the vaccine.
The T cell protection that seems to be long lasting.

      4

      0

    • so here is my contribution.
      Hullo Jan,
I am one of your local voters. Oh, you don’t know me and that’s fine.
I see that your Government is about to change the Saftey Law relating to this Phizer Vaccine.
The Law is there to protect your constituents from the uncontrolled use of trial Medications.
It is there to protect the population of New Zealand from zealots who without care or responsibility would medicate our population.
One would expect an MP to understand the consequences of allowing medicines to be given to anyone and everyone at the whim of a few individuals, especially when the evidence from oversea’s is that the vaccines that this change to the Law allows are in themselves killers of people.
Before you and your colleagues start changing our Law perhaps a suitable enquiry by non conflicted parties should be undertaken.
It may seem a trifling thing to your leaders but consider what happened with the Salt Vaccine or the Thalidomide medication. Think about the consequences for example of Methamphetamine and the scourge oversea’s of the open use of various other drugs.
It is not a sensible position.

There is also the risk when someone dies from the vaccine, and it is when and not if and its has possibly already happened in Auckland, that someone then must be held accountable for a death. Will it be manslaughter or murder and would you want to be facing a court with that charge.

Please consider your position very carefully, do a lot more research than what our supposed health service give out before you rush through this new legislation.
You are responsible to your constituents, all those people in Merivale you looked after for years, not the drug company or some individuals stamp the feet moment as displayed by Andrew Little.

There is no need to rush this through.

      Robert Anderson.

A list of emails is here. https://www.nzcpr.com/quick-email-mps/

Now one for ACT and The Nats.
