  1. Yep, so am I.
There’s nothing new under the sun.
Just more people who have never bothered to take the time to study history.
From which it seems the world never learns.

  2. Here is a test of those Founding Principles.

The Government will hold off from announcing further gun reforms until its $208 million buyback scheme “beds in”.

It is understood high-level policy, on what will go into a second Arms Amendment Bill, was agreed by Cabinet last Monday and a law is being drafted.

In a rare move, the Government has also reached out to the Opposition for consultation, which may also hold back any announcements.

The Government is aiming to gain cross-party support for the bill, in the same way, it did with the first law, which passed almost unanimously.

So are the Nats. going to stand up and be counted and refuse to confiscate people property or are they going to roll over once more and allow the socialists/Marxists/communists to take away our property and our rights.

I think we already know that they will fold.

Pity people like Granny Maggie Barry won’t fight the subjugation of our property rights as much as she fights to prevent people from making their own decisions about their life’s end.

Will Simon and McClay stand up and be counted as defenders of property rights?

Let’s just see if they have the balls to be real men.

  3. The report about so called white supremacy in Auckland Uni shows how far our educational institutes have fallen in standards or should I say how effective the indoctrination has become. It appears a male student has challenged an Indian lecturer over the TOW and has upset all the petals so now has left the Uni.
It is an absolute tragedy .

  4. According to a headline on the TVNZ site the harridan has decided for NZ that Jon Venables, the fellow that, as a child, murdered another child, is not welcome in NZ.

Apparently Britain is trying to resettle the man outside it’s shores to give him a second chance.

Mr Venables should, along with his name change, get a tan, convert to islam and start selling lawnmowers.

The harridan would hop on her private 747 and go get him personally.

I suspect if her beloved UN pressured her to take him on ‘Humanitarian’ grounds she would quietly do it and not make it public…

      • Got a billion dollars to find to compensate law abiding gun owners (and line the pockets of numerous wide boys who will be out to make a fast buck at the expense of the scapegoated, innocent gun owners too of course. A billion dollars may well not be enough once such people get a sniff of such a lucrative new trough).

    • In the past whenever I’ve taken my baby-almost toddler out and been given a paper straw (indignantly: “we don’t have any plastic straws”), I’ve tried to make do with the sole paper straw I’d be given; I’d try to coax the structure of the straw back to being a tube or reversing ends etc. I got fed up at the last place I went that whenever my child collapsed the structure of the straw I got them to give me another one. I believe we went through 5 stupid straws. We could have gone through more if I’d not bothered to keep fixing the first one.

And as far as general shopping is concerned, I really loathe the new system. If I find a new store where I don’t have to bring fucking bags to, will get my immediate patronage.

      • A couple of smaller supermarkets down here like Supervalue will box everything for free but then a great deal of their clientele are older people that are possibly to set in their ways to remember the bag thing

        • Supermarkets have skip after skip of flattened cardboard boxes removed for recycling.
If they left them intact and put them out the front for customers to carry their purchases away in the place would look untidy – and virtue signalling is much more important than actually saving the planet.

          • The recycling isn’t currently profitable, so maybe the deposit scheme will get numbers up sufficiently that it will be worth a dedicated plant. I never did work out why Mere Mere was mothballed, we can’t even burn the stuff.

  6. For anyone who missed this very important and interesting post on the UN Migration Pact signed by Winston Peters, posted by Alice last night I’m reposting: Watch the 2nd one of Carol first.

“A couple of “Must Watch” videos just posted on You Tube. Not very professionally produced but very important subject the UN migration compact which may have such a damaging effect on New Zealand.”

    • Those above Utube videos by concerned New Zealanders, creating petitions, and sending submissions, regarding the UN migration Pact, that was “shorted” time wise.

Winston Peters said was non binding, yeah right.
He was happy to support Green Golly G in her innuendo of those questioning the UN Pact.

Canada’s immigration minister now on the move.

…. believes more of them should be able to enter through economic immigration programs. …
…. open up economic immigration streams to refugees in addition to humanitarian programs, …
…. “massively” ramp up this pilot as a way to bring more refugees to Canada …
…. re-imagining refugees as people who have assets to contribute, who have talents and skills that we need …
…. heard Conservatives shouting out of turn, calling the wave of irregular migrants who have been crossing into Canada by avoiding official border checkpoints “illegals” — a term he takes exception to.
“There’s a lot of fearmongering going on,” he said. …

  7. Lime e-scooter death: Auckland councillor calls for them to be removed from streets
    https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/113746489/lime-escooter-death-auckland-councillor-calls-for-them-to-be-removed-from-streets
“A councillor has called for Lime e-scooters to be taken off the streets after a man died.
Auckland councillor Christine Fletcher, who previously shared concerns about e-scooters said they should be removed until the outcome of a coroner’s investigation into the man’s death”.

So because one guy has died on a E scooter now the authoritarians on Auckland Council are calling for their usage to be suspended.
Maybe we should suspend usage of cars every time someone dies in an accident?,or suspend all swimming every time someone drowns?.
What a bunch of knee jerk nonsense from an ex National MP.

    • ANZ were one of the sponsors of that stupid trust another poster brought to our attention the other day that deals with ‘period poverty’, whatever in Sam Hill that is.
Maybe they should stick to banking and fuck off with the social engineering.

      0

      0

      • They should, but I accept that there is such a thing as period poverty. In low-income households, you try being a young girl wresting some money from a smoking or drinking parent.

Girls don’t go to school if they don’t have the requisite items. So they miss out. Again with our modern disposable world, women have always dealt with it, but they had clothing that was more disguising of ‘accidents’.

I have heard arguments regarding the cost of ‘budget’ items of a few dollars. I can assure you that they are not fit for purpose.

        0

        0

        • We are constantly told that the households in question cannot afford sanitary items which is a completely different argument from the money was available but was spent on booze and cigarettes instead.
Food poverty, shoe poverty, toilet paper poverty etc is all real if money is spent on other shit.

    Apparently responsible for this.

    https://emmatomkinson.com/2017/07/18/aussie-sibs/ social impact bonds.
Five out of the six social impact bonds in Australia have raised funds on the open market, following the process above. This has resulted in a greater number and range of investors than SIBs in other parts of the world. Investors include trusts, foundations, institutions (including superannuation/pension funds), charities and high net worth individuals. Individual investment is restricted to ‘wholesale’ investors. A wholesale investor is a finance professional or a ‘sophisticated investor’ i.e. one who has an income of over AU$250,000 per annum for the last two years or assets in excess of AU$2.5 million. An offer restricted to wholesale investors safeguards retail investors from buying products they do not sufficiently understand and is cheaper to issue. The minimum investment for all SBBs has been AU$50,000. All SIBs have been oversubscribed, with the most recent round for NSW mental health and Queensland’s OOHC SIBs reaching their target in one month. One SIB, OnTRACC, is privately financed by a bank and service provider. There are links to the information memoranda of several SIBs in the details below. These documents provided the information for investors considering investment.

        • I went in after 9 o’clock one time as you have just done, and voted and then it seemed to allow me to vote multiple times when it got refreshed. Anyway I messaged them about the ability to vote multiple times and they told me that once the show was over that the metric was basically set then and that since it was all a just a bit of fun,(except of course when it is against Simon) and that if people wanted to waste their time voting again and again that it would take many people to change it.

It would be if freedom of speech was the motive for the support. Rather I reckon it was the Godaddled, incensed that their boy should be required to tone down his ravings set in in Bronze Age Middle Eastern superstition, who were shovelling the shekels around.

The gullible & brainwashed rallied round the colours. Freedom of speech tagged along.

    • Funny thing Kea is that I would have been far more loyal to National than most of them. From 1972 when a young bugger complete with two mortgages, a kid & two jobs to pay for it all I voted blue largely at the behest of a bloody good boss. Since then I’ve voted for National other than when Muldoon walked off the farm & Bob Jones offered sanity. That’s 16 out of 17 elections covering nearly 50 years!

All in the Wairarapa yet there’s only ever been two National candidates worth a pinch of shit. One was Ben Couch & the other was Wyatt Creech. Both totally good buggers who identified with those they represented & served us well.

Why can’t we attract men like these two now?

        January 16th, 2011 at 1:38 pm

Meanwhile, across the Pacific, somewhere in the mid West –

Red “Judgement Day’ baiter lept to his feet, the M60 snug against His hip. Almost nonchalantly, He thrust His left foot forward against the dying leftist scum prostrate before Him and braced Himself before squeezing the trigger. The M60 commie killer leapt into life chattering into an ear-splitting crescendo while it spewed a torrent of HOT LEAD at the anti-democracy progressive leftist homo scum hand-wringing themselves towards His position. The ammo belt slid over His lightly greased left forearm. Almost inexplicably it occurred to him that although KY was the first thing He always packed when going away with His boys in case He got into a tight situation, this use wasn’t what He’d originally had in mind.

Almost as suddenly as it had leapt into life, the M60 stopped. The ‘death click’. A hail of angry HOT LEAD immediately descended on him; whining, cursing and spitting at him. “Like those lefty progressive scum on Kiwiblog” He thought. He stood there for a moment longer; defiantly, before ducking to cover. What to do now? “RELOAD”, Sarah’s voice seemed to hiss in his ear.

He turned to His companion for another belt of LEAD DEATH, only to find him cowering in the dirt, jabbering incoherently. “Kris, Kris, of all people” he cursed.

He grimaced and slumped, head in hands. It wasn’t the temple wound. “Hell, it was just a flesh wound” He muttered to Himself. The bullet had gone straight through and exited cleanly out the other side. He knew that as long as he kept a level head there would be no further blood loss. “I get worse headaches reading Kiwiblog” He snorted to himself.

No, it wasn’t the temple wound. It was the realisation, whoops, “realization” He corrected himself, that yet again He was the only One holding the line. “First those soft-cocks from Westboro Baptist didn’t even front at the LZ as promised. Some bullshit about a bring-a-cake fund-raiser. And now Kris”. An almost overwhelming sense of desolation and despair threatened to drown him.

But then he felt it. The sudden warmth emanating from his left breast where He had taped Sarah’s swimsuit photo. “Would She get my letter?” He wondered, thinking of the envelope also taped over His heart and addressed: ‘To Be Opened in the Event of My Glorious Death in a Hail of HOT LEAD Whilst Killing Marxist Scum’. “Would She do the eulogy? What if She had a conflicting appointment at the hairdresser?” “Would She tweet?”

He shook himself back to his senses. “No time for that; you’re carrying on like some progressive homo scum”.

He poised, knowing what awaited him Him but also knowing that He would take a lot more of them with Him. But before He could leap to His feet for the final defiant charge to glory, a familiar voice interrupted Him.

“Russell, for the tenth time your dinner is ready. And its the 16th today and if you haven’t put the rubbish out and done the dishes by nine o’clock, then you can go without it for another month …”

An interesting perspective is that with the ability to downtick – many social media sites don’t allow that including Youtube and Fakebook, I believe, as I don’t go there – it is used very sparingly.
