  1. The entire international media are in cahoots with protecting the brain dead bumbling train wreck that is Joe Biden .
A half hour of absolute B / S from the fricking idiot this morning where he repeatedly made a fool of himself and the U S , if the British media stay silent on this 30 minute clown show I pronounce the international media dead and buried and the TRUTH along with it.

  2. Great picture at the top today Ed. I thought the same thing yesterday. Checkout was sniffling as I went through on Saturday. Touching every item I was taking home. There are many easy ways to pass viruses if you think about.

But try not to think about it too much. Have a great day all.

  3. So the pill testing outfit are pleading for minimum 1mil govt funding so they can test illegal drugs for morons to consume illegally but safely…
    https://i.stuff.co.nz/national/125380846/woman-died-after-taking-mdma-at-rave-at-aucklands-bastion-point

Coincidence that stuffed scrape the bottom of the barrel and write about a death that happened 3 yrs ago.. yea nah these fucks know how to manipulate the govt and lobby for theses groups.

To my knowledge most drug deaths in nz are due to overdoses of the known drugs idiots ingest and not due to nasty additives like other countries, even the above case would not have been prevented if tested as it was a case of taking too much.

    • Well people are people and young people are gullible.
I would rather testing was done than kids die unnecessarily.
apart from that it another way of short circuiting the gangs.

But then I guess you old people have forgotten what you were like as a teenager.
Its so easy to be wise when you think you are grown up.

      • Im 34 viking, most of my mates are heavily into mdma and other drugs and not one of them would bother testing them. They take it to get munted and its now a cheaper better option then drinking all wknd with piss all of a hangover.

I dont see why we should subidize morons taking party drugs, if theyre that concerned then they can pay 5bux to get a test done. Id rather they die of stupidity then be given confidence to continue dumb fuck behaviour.

          • Ed Im not an easily led fuckwit like most my age so no chance of them dragging me down.
Told one of my best mates a few weeks ago not to take a pile of magic mushies he found at work… few hours later a crying freaked out clown rang telling me he was gunna die. Told him he probably is gunna die wished him luck and hung up 🙂 , ill quite happily let a mate or family member collect a darwin award esp if i warn them prior.

The idiot lived but tied up ambulance for a while, fingers crossed it didnt come at some other poor persons expense that was awaiting help.

  4. How come NZTA didn’t cock up their funding of our roads but Waka Whatsit under this clown car have AGAIN FAILED when it comes to budgeting. Too much spending on ideology instead of necessary infrastructure. To make that easy for the Labour MP’s to understand, it’s buying fags and booze over essentials such as paying the rent.

Rural roads may suffer as transport funding hole opens
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/rural-roads-may-suffer-transport-funding-hole-opens?auto=0

The lower funding indication came as the council was hearing feedback on its long-term plan, used to benchmark what the council would do and spend in the coming decade, including $53.6m on its roads.

Half of that, or $27.4m, was expected to come from Waka Kotahi as it usually funded 51 per cent of council road works.

But the council was last week told that Waka Kotahi might only fund $22.3m for roads in Marlborough, leaving $4.9m of the council’s money “sitting without a brother to balance it”.

    • WG i believe its the maori name, literally anything maori sucks back money and blows/defrauds/misappropriates any funding be it taxpayer monies or iwi trusts.

Seriously they need to do an investigation to see if just adding a te reo name increases the likely hood of fraud/ failure/ budget blowouts. Would also be interesting to compare private vs state and see what one is worst for getting bled dry by maori association.

      11

      0

      • When I see an agency with a Te Reo name, I assume that it is specifically for people who self-identify as “Maori.” If it were for the general public, surely its name would be in a language that all citizens could understand.

Not a very transparent government, when you can’t understand what the names of government bodies mean.

        21

        0

      • If a government department gets a Te Reo name, sure this must be an expensive process that involves a huge amount of “consultation” and “permission.”
Does the government actually “own” the rights to the names of these agencies or does a licensing fee have to be regularly paid to the iwi think-tank that approves the final name?

        10

        0

        • Not to mention taxpayers paying the cost of changing all department signage, stationery and advertising to include the joint maori name. That cost isn’t insignificant. Multiply those costs through all departments. It is nothing though compared to the cost of a whole separate health system for the special people.

No wonder our major infrastructure is falling apart.

And that’s one of the problems here.
NZTA have anything to do with roads Vehilces and anything else all lumped into one monster. (Steven Joyce) Chop it up into smaller more accountable bits.

    • Te Reo as a brand does not work.
      NZTA had hard earned respect,
Waka Kotahi has lost that respect, mostly because of the dumb actions / directions of this Government.
If this Government is voted out one of the quickest ways to regain respect is to re brand back to
      NZTA with appropriate policy support.

        They reverse nothing of Liebour.

NZTA has never been functional and stuffed up the Kapiti expressway which they had final authority on.
It was formed in 2008 just before the Nats took over.
        They never reversed it

When it was actually building roads like transmission gully etc rather than cycle ways and cycle bridges. Planning and doing.
Maintaining speed limits while making safety a priority.
And also funding 51% of maintaining rural roads.

  5. So of the 39,000 Britons infected with the Indian variant of COVID, 42 have died of or with the disease. Of that 42, 12 were fully ‘vaccinated’ and another 7 had the initial treatment shot. In all a mortality of 0.10% which is consistent with the mortality rate overall.

I’m amazed the DM published this given the stat of 29% of the deceased were fully ‘vaccinated’. Is there something wrong with this? Does anyone else get the feeling that there will be no “return to normal” even with the majority of sheep being led to the dosing pen?

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9681613/Study-shows-29-people-died-catching-new-strain-vaccinations.html

    15

    • I would like to see the age and comorbidity statistics for the 42 of the 39,000 who died “with” or “from” the Indian variant.
It could be that the vaccine is only really effective for a specific strain of the virus (like with annual influenza shots that have to be changed each season).

I am sure that governments around the world have learned so much about how to manipulate their populations in the wake of this pandemic. What is amazing is how closely governments have followed each other.

Keep the population in fear and they will listen to you. If they listen to you, a high proportion will obey.
      Fear = obedience.

      • Ref: https://toyokeizai.net/sp/visual/tko/covid19/en.html

See the chart “Tested Positive By Age” right side, third down. Of the people who tested positive, the death rate has been very low for the 50s age groups on down.
Also bear in mind that the “50s” group includes people aged up to 59. If male, many will be lifelong smokers. A significant number of this group will have comorbidities such as hypertension, pre-diabetes or diabetes, or be on immune-suppressing medication due to other medical complaints.
In the 40s cohort, of the 109, 862 positive cases, only 95 have died (and we don’t know their pre-existing conditions). That’s a death rate of 95/109,862 which is 0.086%. How is this different from a typical “bad” year of influenza of a couple of years ago?

      5 minutes and worth it

Ned Beatty as good as it gets

Sadly I see he has just passed away in the last day at the age of 83.

Over 150 roles incl: Network, Superman, Deliverance,
He was a stage actor in his 30s when he was picked for Deliverance, his first movie.
He went on to totally eclipse Burt Reynolds with an illustrious career.
      RIP Mr Beatty.
The scene in Network is chilling, and accurate.

  6. Some observations from a rural South Islander driving around the East Coast, yesterday Tokomaru Bay to The Kaha Hariki, about 180 kms.
The roads are shit, not the windy hilly bit but the potholes, bumps, slumps and rough condition of the seal. It is a S.H., NZTA should be ashamed.
Rubbish on the roadsides everywhere, worst we seen since Spain and they were the worse of 34 Countries in Europe.
The town ship buildings are very run down, Ruatoria, Hicks Bay etc.
Graveyards of wrecked cars at frequent intervals.
    Seat belts not being worn.
    Lots of horses everywhere.
Lots of useless non productive land.
Cleared pine tree areas not replanted but have seen good land planted in pine and why would native trees be planted.
Maori have often a darker shade than South Island, I guess we mix and match more readily.
Mongrel Mob members strutting around with very arrogant look.
Noticed young Maori boys looking at them, are they impressed, probably.
Saw 2 young slim attractive well dressed teenage girls walking in Ruatoria, what does the future hold for them if they cannot get away?
So many Marae’s, almost all empty even though it is a Sunday.
So many Latter Day Saints Churches, Mormons.
100 km speed limit with most corners 25, 35, 45, 55 advisory. Why bother.
Electric Car rechargers in most towns, can not see any locals owning one, their cars all seemed to be low slung black with dark tinted windows.
Best ever Fish and chips from Waihau Bay.

    • I told you so yesterday.

electric car chargers but the potholes not fixed.
you can see the wonky footprint of Liebour there.

I would not be surprised if some locals rigged up a couple of bait freezers to the car chargers.

      Good observations.
I worked in student days in a pub in Wellington and there was a large contingent from Tolaga Bay who drank there.
I picked up on their lifestyle pretty well.
It s largely slow and non changing.
Even this century the kids regularly ride horses to school.
Shoes are not a big thing in the area.

A famillly of scum squat in a mans house for 4 yearsand oh thats a civil matter wr cant be involved in that. I know people who live in this town and surprise surprise l hear the squatters are maori as far as lm concerned the bloke id be justified in blowbing all these cunts away

    • “A man puts a all lives matter graffiti on his bulldozer blade and gets an instant visit from the cops.”
Perhaps the police have been instructed that “White supremacists use this phrase” and so are obliged under their current directives to investigate.
What policeman is going to risk his pension by refusing to follow orders from above?

      12

      0

        • The answer maybe is to hire a gang from the opposing side to assist them to pack up and leave as their is no tenancy agrement, police are not interested, can’t on sell it with squatters, wonder if he has a mortgage, even if he demolished it, which would cost him, the section would not be worth more than 5 grand, on a good day. So is the answer just walk away and leave the problem to the local council? The bank must bare some responsibility in this mess. But they will say not us, not our responsibility.

    • I feel for the guy.

      this is interesting

“He asked the South Taranaki District Council to shut off the water supply to the house, but this was declined.

South Taranaki District Council group manager community services and Infrastructure Fiona Aitken said under the Health Act, it was not legally allowed to stop the supply of water to a property. ”

They just bought a whole lot of hurt.
A bit different in Auckland where water is billed separately – and in addition- to main rates bill.

I guess this guy will still be paying property rates for 4 years and even if he stopped they will place a lien on the property so no proceeds could go to him until council $ was deducted.

But basically council are saying ‘we will never cut off the water’
This makes it interesting for others in dispute with council

In Auckland they did cut off the water for Penny Bright.
Maybe South ‘naki Council has a different Health Act to Auckland Council. //
      Mmmm.

Interesting she was on about council lack of Transparency more than 15 years ago.
And this is a real issue now in both central and local Govt.

  8. Hi Folks
Perhaps we need a new party in NZ based on Liberty, Equality and FraTernity. To be called the LEFT party.

Wouldn’t go down to well with Labour who want: Control and Domination rather than Liberty; ‘some are more equal than others’ ‘Equality”; and deeply divisive ‘Fraternity’.

Not sure about right leaning voters either. LEFT would probably be classed as far right, racist, privileged, supremacist etc.

Okay, probably not a goer. Looks like 50million Frenchmen were wrong!!

  9. This is a picture Bruce Jenner in a movie in 1980.

    Caption today is ‘Caitlyn Jenner’.

There he is as a bloke in a bedroom scene with a woman.

    https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0674781/mediaviewer/rm1443452160/?context=default

Does this make this a very early lesbian scene then?
1980. They were not showing that.
    I’m confused.

Jenner was asked to audition for 1978 Superman.
    He declined.
If he did the role would they have to rename to Superwoman?
    What about subsequent Superman/woman movies.

Cant people just stay in their lane?
Oh hell, is that hatey speech.
    Will I get a visit ?

      • Yes, an utterly impeccable athlete in 1976 when he won Gold for the Decathlon.

        the irony in 1976.
He was not yet taking hormones to be a women but East German women were taking hormones to be more like men.

The sadness is that the Olympic records have been amended to show the winner as Caitlyn (puke) Jenner.
Surely the right thing to do would be to disqualify the person for being in the ‘wrong lane’.

Or you have two lanes, born with :
        1. XX chromosomes or 2. XY chromosomes.
But the IOC is so corrupt, sensible decisions will not be made.

If he didnt have anything to do with that family he would still have a cock and balls now. For a few hundred million bux many men would put a skirt on and have an operation.

  10. I note on the latest covid 19 vaccine ads on the radio the language has changed.
Its no longer “protects against covid 19” its change to “protects you from covid 19 symptoms?

Also im yet to hear any of the so called members of the community that are encouraging everyone to get vaccinated mention anything to do with the health of themselves or others as a reason to get jabbed, the only talk of it for selfish and monetary reasons.

  11. I came across a new word in a cafe in Raglan.
The fish of the day was something called Ta-ra-hi-ki. (BTW, “tara” is Japanese for “cod” so I thought at first it was some type of cod.)

Our waiter was a very serious white guy with a ponytail.

It took me a bit to realize that he was talking about the fish name in English usage that is pronounced as “tera-ki.”

I wonder how long it will be before all the common English names of fish are replaced with the officially approved Te Reo ones? For example, restaurant staff will be forbidden to use the name “snapper” and will have to say “tamure” or risk losing their jobs.

    13

    • Tarakihi is the fish.
That is how it is spelt at Pak n save where I buy it , often.
      Spelt that way for years.
Great fish that can be prepped in so many ways with different adjunct flavours.

Going by the proclamations of late it all looks very scatter gun, we’ve had the lycra bridge, the change in road funding, E.V tax, hate speech and the attempted land grab all in a very short space. In the $tuff link Mike posted about the producer of the Cindy movie resigning they forgot to mention she is the partner of Captain Lycra, Simon Wilson the lefty loser who is scared of everything but bikes and regurgitates for the Horrid. I will give them the benefit of the doubt on this one, she does look a lot like Simon – be warned if you are thinking of opening the link, he must drink shit loads. Anyway, apparently she is also very friendly with that well known actor Clarke. The way Labour work, does anyone believe for a moment Cindy didn’t know about this? 15. Brian Cates
Writes for Breitbart, Epoch Times, RealClear Politics, NTD Television, Uncover DC

He posted this concerning Horowitz and Durhams investigations into Congress members.

Several members of Congress, their staff & family members were investigated and spied on for more than 3 years via subpoenas from a federal grand jury, according to a statement from Apple.
Only after the warrants were not renewed for a 4th year and was allowed to expire did Apple alert the phone & email account holders on May 5.
None of this was ever leaked to the news media.

Today DOJ Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz announced he’s going to check and make sure the people who got these subpoenas to seize records and spy on members of Congress for 3+ years crossed all t’s and dotted all the i’s.

    Why is Horowitz doing this?
Because Democrats are already screaming blue bloody murder that these subpoenas and warrants must have been illegal, violated procedures, and been based on faked evidence.
Yes, I know, the irony meter just broke.
Same people that spent 4 years lying about the Carter Page warrant & the Steele Dossier and Crossfire Hurricane.
So Horowitz is going to PROVE the subs & warrants are legit.

Next week is going to be crazy. Rest up.

Massive pain is coming. Durham’s scope includes investigating the leaks out of Congress of classified information that was used to drive the Trump/Russia Hoax from 2016 to 2020.

Her honour is the latest in a line of appointments made by the honours board to controversial recipients, including Prof Adrian Cheok, a robot sex expert and former far-right political candidate; Bettina Arndt, a sex therapist who interviewed a convicted paedophile and described the behaviour of female students as “sexually provocative”; and the tennis player Margaret Court, who has previously said transgender children were the work of “the devil”.

Commentary from Cairns police (below) is proof the socialist Queensland Labor Party has warned its corporate police to back off blackfellas committing any type of offences.

It was not me, the dog ate my home work, I did not know they were writing another book about me, I did not say that….

It just goes on and on.

How do you know when she is telling lies….. her lips are moving.

    What a disgusting creature….

  21. Speaking of disgusting creatures..
I went into a shop today to buy some bits and pieces.
I saw an employee so went up and asked where so and so was. Be fucked, it had tits and stubble. They were reasonably sized tits.
    It was weird.

  22. How inept do you have to be to leave a large surgical tool in a wound and not question where was?

Man left with ‘large surgical instrument’ inside abdomen after surgery at an Auckland hospital
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/man-left-large-surgical-instrument-inside-abdomen-after-surgery-auckland-hospital?auto=0

There was also an apparent lack of understanding by some WDHB staff about the purpose of the surgical count policy and lack of critical thinking by some staff about the risks of not counting all items that enter the surgical field.

    • Indeed. That’s what spike proteins do. (Call them “can-opener” proteins…)
Think of them as little can openers that stud the outside of the virus like horns on a sea mine. The virus uses the spikes to crack open the cells it wants to invade.
You do not want spike proteins floating around and causing mayhem.

  23. Who will believe the Chinese now?

…… the past week assessing a report of a leak at a Chinese nuclear power plant, after a French company that part owns and helps operate it warned of an “imminent radiological threat,” according to US officials and documents reviewed by CNN.

The warning included an accusation that the Chinese safety authority was raising the acceptable limits for radiation detection outside the Taishan Nuclear Power Plant in Guangdong province in order to avoid having to shut it down, according to a letter from the French company to the US Department of Energy …..

Did Biden coherently raise this with Macron at the G7
Will the Chinese shut it down?

Will this mean that a few more coal burning power stations will have to be built and others ramped up to take the extra load?
