    A broad range of inexplicable events happened on Hancock’s watch: dodgy death certificates, care home dumping, perpetual contradicting of his boss, vital facts kept from colleagues, overstated PHE mortality stats, huge percentages of people who went into hospital for minor surgery yet wound up dead from SarsCov2, corrupt drug trials conducted by Oxford Recovery, evasion of questions about vaccination-related death, blatant lies to the commons about vaccine approvals, hard-sell vaccine marketing condemned as totalitarian, and both delays and groundless exaggerations in relation to the Indian/Delta variant.

    But there is something about the Midazolam story that has at last stirred the police into some kind of action. A threatening slate-grey and brown cloud of doubt hangs over it that can only be grasped if one accepts the reality of depraved people in public life.     Apparently more than half the high school girls asked had been harassed. Probably right as no doubt more than half the boys have been harassed.

    Kids are horrible to each other full stop. In my experience girls where the worst. But we must shame just kids who are boys.

    • In some respect the new anything goes culture has to carry some of the blame here. Kids are alienated from their parents and the concept of the normal family is frowned upon. Kids are not taught how to handle alcohol, and then we wonder why things get out of hand when they are released into the wild. My daughters, as far as I know, have not had sexual harrassemnt issues, but they don’t drink excessively and the friends they hang out with look after one another. The other thing we have to determine is what exactly are they defining as sexual harrassemnt. A wolf whistle, or persistent unwanted, inaproppraite behaviour. Sexual harassment has to be unwanted and persistent, else its flirting. And there is a difference.

        • I have long advocated New Zealand giving a home to the most beautiful and highly endangered of the big cats the Snow Leopard. Snow Leopards would be at home in the Southern Alps where they would predate on their natural food the Himalayan Tahr, hares and other goats. There has never been a recorded incident of humans being harmed by Snow Leopards and indeed they would be a wonderful tourist attraction and could easily be controlled if their numbers grew by foreign hunters who would pay a fortune to hunt them. Having Snow Leopards in New Zealand would be a 100% win win situation with absolutely no downside.
          It is so sad that our Department of Conservation is not interested at all in real conservation.

  26. I mentioned last week about the twice jabbed brother in law having to self isolate and not to travel after spending a night or two at that Wellington hotel.

    His test came back negative and he is now staying with us. He told me that he followed all the ‘protocols’ because of the hotel stay and that he was instructed to report to a medical centre to get tested. Following that direction, he duly fell in line with all the other medical centre clients waiting to have their run of the mill medical complaints attended to.

    By the time it came to his turn at the reception desk and he explained his situation, he was told to remove himself forthwith from the building and to take himself and any possible delta strain virus that he might be habouring and to wait in his car.

    He said he was initially in disbelief about having to go to a medical centre for the test considering the Government and media hype about the Wellington situation and queried the official giving him the instruction.

    While he is with us, I told him that I didn’t want him shedding his spike protein near us and have told him to wrap himself in tin foil while in the house. He will follow instructions from some unknown person at the other end of the telephone, but he’s not taking my direction too seriously.

    • There is, of course, a party that has been reading all the think tanks work and has an actual, real solution to the housing crisis.

      ACT would repeal the Resource Management Act and replace it with separate Environmental Protection and Urban Development Acts. The Urban Development Act would be based on the recommendations of the Productivity Commission’s Better Urban Planning report and significantly expand the rights of property owners to build on their own land. The Environmental Protection Act would be rules-based, to provide property owners with certainty and confidence, and focus only on those environmental issues not addressed through other schemes (e.g., climate change considerations, already included in the Emissions Trading Scheme, would be expressly excluded).

      We need to get the governmental restrictions off so the cost of land use reduces. And part of that is actually repealing the RMA. If you’re interested in the detail, there’s quite a bit of it here, but you have to follow the links to discussion documents and they are oh so very dry.

    • In a personal contribution to this story, my daughter has been involved with the mental health unit in Auckland, largely related to severe, racial bullying at school. They discharged her against the advice from myself, her school guidance councilor and herself. Then she tried to commit suicide. Fortunately she failed. We’ve tried to get her re-admitted, but the current wait time for a mental health practitioner to do an assessment visit for a critical case that is at risk of suicide is 6 months.

      My local MP has been very supportive and I’ve passed our story on to Mike King as well. We’re now working through the Gumboots Friday program, which is worthwhile to donate to. They get things done in a week, rather than 6 months.

      This government is fucking useless and to see Ardern not only defend it but try and promote themselves as if they’re doing something good? It fucking rips my shorts. She needs a good slap in the face to remind her of how fucked up her government is and how badly they are failing New Zealanders.

        the same frustrations 10-12 years ago when our eldest son was
        acutely unwell. There was no beds for a teenager in the mental

      • Mental health has been starved of resources ever since the two greatest bitches in the history of NZ, namely Jenny Shipley & Helen Clark, shut facilities everywhere in favour of “community care”.

        This “community care” is an ongoing fiasco & consists of a few overworked mental health nurses trying to get patients to take their medication while these unfortunates live on the street or in rundown dosshouses.

    A Tasmanian professor has pointed out that more than a million people are in lockdown because the Qld Govt insisted that someone from regional Victoria (where there were no cases of Covid) quarantine in a hotel for 14 days. The miner caught covid while in the hotel, flew to the NT and the rest is history for the people of Darwin and Perth.

    “She said the recent example of a mine worker who travelled from Bendigo to Brisbane on June 17, and was directed to quarantine in a hotel because of Queensland’s COVID border restrictions for Victoria showed how a so-called hard border could have unintended consequences.

    Professor Bennett said the miner had come from an area of Victoria which was “exceptionally low risk and hadn’t had an exposure site for some weeks”, but according to Queensland’s rules, the man had to go into hotel quarantine, where he caught the virus.

    It was not until after he travelled to the Northern Territory that he was diagnosed.

    “Now we’ve got cases in the Territory and potentially across Australia as a result of that,” Professor Bennett said.”

      I wasn’t expecting it to be turned into an article (I don’t write for The Daily Expose) and I’m not happy about my name being anywhere near a headline that says Whitty gave an order to kill people (why do you have to sensationalize things like that?).
      My point was simply that hydroxychloroquine was given in a very high dose in two trials (and others) back in April and that Ioannidis, Kohnlein and Wodarg have spoken/written about this and its possible role in the excess deaths.
      I have no idea what Whitty’s intentions were or whether he was even aware of the dose being used.
      The only thing I know is that he signed the message asking the NHS to enrol patients in those trials.
      Questions need to be asked about what went on in these trials but the idea Whitty gave an order with the intention to kill patients is not a claim I ever made.

      Just to clarify.
      Most of this article is from a comment I left in response to the article on midazolam.
      The headline from which you have quoted has nothing whatsoever to do with me.
      I am not affiliated with Daily Expose and am surprised my comment was turned into an article and somewhat aghast that such a headline was used with it.
      I certainly made no allegations of what Whitty’s intentions were.
      I’d have preferred it if Daily Expose took the info I laid out in the comments section and did their own piece with any extra info they themselves found out rather than take my comment and add this headline which I don’t like my name being under.

      The worst is sensationalism.
      It is seen for some other reasons that HCQ at those levels are not so good with populations of certain genetics.
      Also to look at what experience the panel of Doctors had, and just what dosage levels, and compared to being spread over 24 hours.
      There are 36 pages laying out the conditions of that trial.
      It is sort of sailing up into the wind, and just what & why is too high a heading for the dosage rate?
      Were there other trials, with a lower dosage rate?

      At the end, how did the Control group fare with the other 3 parts of that trial?
      Was that dose rate too high?, or too late?
