FFS Jeff Bezos gets out into space after spending billions of dollars and burning up precious earth resources including more pollutant than any one man has produced in 4 billion years of the earth’s life and says “its beautiful, and we are destroying it” , the fucking out of touch with reality piece of shit can just fuck off and die .

  2. At last weekend’s Sunday church service the local Vicar explains that he must move on to a larger congregation that will pay him more
There is a hush within the congregation.
No one wants him to leave because he is so popular.
Fred Smith, who owns several car dealerships in Glasgow , stands up and proclaims:
‘If the Vicar stays, I will provide him with a new Mercedes every year and his wife with a Volkswagen mini-van to transport their children!’
The congregation sighs in appreciation and applauds.
Sam Brown, a successful entrepreneur and publican, stands and says, ‘If the Vicar will stay on here, I’ll personally double his salary and establish a foundation to guarantee private secondary school education for all of his children!’
    More sighs and loud applause.
Agnes Jones, age 88, stands and announces with a smile, ‘If the Vicar stays, I will give him free sex.’
    There is total silence.
The Preacher, blushing, asks her: ‘Mrs. Jones, you’re a wonderful and holy lady, whatever possessed you to say that?’
Agnes’s 90-year old husband, Joe, is now trying to hide , while his wife replies: ‘Well, I just asked my husband how we could help, and he said, ‘Fuck him’.

  3. Vitamin D Therapy Reduces COVID’s Inflammatory Storm

The Effects of Vitamin D and COVID-Related Outcomes
An overwhelming volume of research makes it clear that this hormone produced in our skin can save lives
    By Joseph Mercola
    July 19, 2021 Updated: July 19, 2021
    biggersmaller Print

Do you know your vitamin D level? If not, getting your blood tested—and optimizing your levels—is one of the simplest and most straightforward steps you can take to improve your health, including in relation to COVID-19. Vitamin D, as an immunomodulator, is a perfect candidate for countering the immune dysregulation that’s common with COVID-19.

As early as November 2020, it was known that there were striking differences in vitamin D status among people who had asymptomatic COVID-19 and those who became severely ill and required intensive care unit (ICU) care. In one study, 32.96 percent of those with asymptomatic cases were vitamin D deficient, compared to 96.82 percent of those who were admitted to the ICU for a severe case.

    https://www.theepochtimes.com/mkt_morningbrief/the-effects-of-vitamin-d-and-covid-related-outcomes_3896844.html?utm_source=morningbriefnoe&utm_medium=email2&utm_campaign=mb-2021-07-20&mktids=1e7ad63b6875b8c5fe4742f32769cedb&est=6Y95VgkQLAcomiYUl8IhpO9ZcvWDIX8a95z73VyHhqHi7oX0aAWRj6OhyLKyX7U%3D

If you have an infection, your body will release cytokines to help combat inflammation, but sometimes, it releases more than it should. If the cytokine release spirals out of control, the resulting “cytokine storm” becomes dangerous and is closely tied to sepsis, which may be an important contributor to the death of COVID-19 patients.

So they were right all along. This also explains why New Yorkers got hit and Texans mostly didn’t. Get out in the sun and make your immune system work.

    • It was well before Nov 2020 Viking. I read about much earlier in 2020 ( about March / April). My wife and I bought some supplements as well as getting out sun as usual. We both think it has helped our health –last winter and this winter, so far, have been the best for a long time.

    • A girl realized that she had grown hair between her legs.

She got worried and asked her mom about that hair. Her mom calmly said: “That part where the hair has grown is called Monkey, be proud that your monkey has grown hair.” the girl smiled.

At dinner, she told her sister: “My monkey has grown hair.”

Her sister smiled and said: “That’s nothing, mine is already eating bananas.”

  4. Interesting that cindy and mahutapotomus refused to say anything bad about china or side with 5eyes untill it came to something affecting a big business her buddy bill created.

Will be halarious if she pokes pooh bear a few more times and completely pisses of the ccp, shes tried really hard to wreck the economy and crashing exports will be the icing on the cake.

    • Not going to happen. China doesn’t buy stuff off us because they love Cindy or any other kiwi. It’s all about satisfying the average Chinese in the cities and towns. They are only one week’s food and away from the next revolution. Our timber exports are booming to China. That will only increase next year when the Russians stop all log exports.
As Australia found out last year, you can call their bluff, they can stop buying luxury goods, Wine crayfish etc, but ask yourself why the iron ore exports are increasing at such a rate?

      15

      0

      • The iron ore exports are growing because they are building so many coal powered and a few nuclear power stations to drive their electric cars!
In a couple of years you are going to see our electic cars on the side of the road and owners hitchhiking!

    • Remember the allegations her Labour Party was funded by the CCP?

We’ve had carefully curated messages saying nothing bad about China and refusing to condemn then. Then all of a sudden calling out a cyber attack right when our cyber security resilience rating drops from 19th in the world to 48th in the world? We’re now behind the likes of Nigeria, Kazakhstan, Ghana, Tunisia and Azerbaijan.

Melissa Lee (National) reported on this a few days ago. I don’t think it made it into the news though.

I think there is some kind of political theatre afoot here with Labour preparing cover for something.

  5. It shows you what a year in Politics can do for you when people regard you as one of the top Ministers in Labours first term only to find out your lazy and out of your depth and this could be applied to Kris Faafoi at the present time.
Revealed : More than a 1,000 doctors and nurses waiting in residency queue, GP’S are urging the Government to urgently re-open the residency for healthcare workers to avoid losing them overseas.
There are more than 1,000 registered doctors and nurses stuck in the frozen Immigration queue-and Newshub have spoken to one doctor who has given up and leaving, Nina Franshams first New Zealand holiday was a kiwi classic traveling in a campervan she saw how beautiful the country was and knew how great it would be for her children.
She moved from the UK in December 2019, loving it so much, she encouraged other foreign doctors to move to Northland-but love has its limits.
“Our lives feel incredible temporary and incredible frustrating” she told Newshub.
Graham is stuck in the frozen residency for skilled immigrants- unable to access Kiwisaver, healthcare or buy a house, so reluctantly is moving back to the UK.
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2021/07/more-than-1000-registered-doctors-and-nurses-waiting-in-new-zealand-residency-queue.html
This country has a shortage of doctors and nurses and we have a Labour Government that’s just caught up in their own importance that they can only see of what they want instead of the needs of New Zealander’s .
This is incompetence of the highest degree and Faafoi needs to resign over this stupidity.

    • Even if theyre needed i dont think anyone should be pushed up the queue or given priority. The whole point is there shouldnt be the ginormous backlog they have currently, ffs theyve had a whole year to catch up and done sweet fuck all, why are they only processing 2019 applications now?

    • Cindys labour govt… the joke that keeps on giving.

I see cindys loving having all these books n movies made about her, perhaps someone should write a real and honest account of her time as PM, id call it “succeding at failure”. Seriously tho someone should write that book and list the half page of achievements and the 3287pages of failures.

So therefore the book would have (at most) half a page of text followed by 3287 blank pages, and be priced at $500,000 per copy (cos the gummint has to tax everything and robboo likes to make a profit)?

Can’t see it being a best seller, although the woke liberals will probably fall over themselves to get a personally-signed copy (for an extra $250,000 in folded US bills) to show how ’empathic’ they are) but then again…

The chief of the Tokyo 2020 organising committee on Tuesday did not rule out cancelling the Olympics if COVID-19 cases spiked, as more athletes tested positive for the virus and sponsors ditched plans to attend Friday’s opening ceremony.

There have been 67 cases of COVID-19 infections in Japan among those accredited for the Games since July 1, when many athletes and officials started arriving, organisers said on Tuesday.

    • On the Japanese news this morning (Nippon TV 4:33 a.m. local time (7:33 a.m. NZ time)). New coronavirus positive cases in Tokyo surge to 1,387 people (some 500 higher than a week ago). Of these cases, those due to the delta (Indian) strain record their highest number to date.
No talk of cancelling the Olympics (just around the corner.)
The Japanese public are following the directions of their leaders to try and reduce the spread of the virus, but nothing seems to be working and the public are growing weary. I don’t see a lot of death. Life goes on.
Business operators (especially in hospitality) are complaining that their industries are suffering and yet the infection rates continue. I think the public are just going to accept the consequences of infection just so that they can get on with their lives.

  10. There’s critical thinking (and the questioning of narratives that it prompts).
And then there’s the non-critical acceptance of ideas and narratives.

If you were a member of the elite, would you want the ordinary people to engage in critical thought regarding popular narratives?
Instead, if you are a bank leader or a powerful politician, would you engage in public acts designed to reinforce popular narratives, such as “taking the knee”?

I often wonder why supposedly intelligent and well-connected people act in such an unthinking manner, but perhaps it is because they want to encourage non-thinking and acceptance.

Logically, the elites must think: “This narrative is to my advantage, therefore I must encourage the ordinary person to accept it as much as possible. One way is for me to make public displays of endorsing this narrative (even if I do the opposite in private).”

    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/sign-farmers-protest-critical-te-reo-m-ori-place-collins?auto=0

On Friday, farmers and tradespeople turned out in force in their utes and tractors in more than 50 towns and cities across the country to protest against what they say is a lack of consultation about the Government’s new environmental regulations.

Among those at the protests, one person’s vehicle sported a sign that said they lived in “New Zealand, not Aotearoa”, and claimed te reo Māori was being “rammed” down people’s throats.

A photograph of the sign, captured by an NZ Herald journalist, was widely shared on social media. Many called it racist.

Calls to feed Kiwis first before exporting New Zealand food
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2021/07/calls-to-feed-kiwis-first-before-exporting-new-zealand-food.html

Poverty researcher Dr Rebekah Graham said while working on her thesis on food insecurity, she interviewed a woman who walked for 90 minutes each day to get a free community meal.

“They would have loved high quality meat and they would have loved to have regular fresh fruits and veggies.”

New Zealand produces enough food to feed 40 million people, exporting much of it, including $16 billion worth of dairy, $3.7bn worth of beef and $3.9bn worth of sheep meat a year.

    10

    • “Poverty researcher Dr Rebekah Graham said while working on her thesis on food insecurity, she interviewed a woman who walked for 90 minutes each day to get a free community meal.”

That’s 45 minutes each way. Assuming that the woman walks at 3 km/h, that means she walks a distance of just over 2 km. That’s not such a great distance. Mind you, if she worked on minimum wage ($15) for 90 minutes, she could earn plenty of money to buy basic ingredients from the local supermarket and prepare the food herself.

What is wrong with these people. They will go to no end of effort and trouble to get “free stuff.”

      • “Thesis on Food Insecurity”….. Sounds like a soft degree. PhDs are supposed to be breaking new ground or major discoveries, bringing some new discovery to the academic discussion on the table. What has she brough to the discussion that is worthy of a PhD? Food security is based on economic principals around supply and demand. As long as supply meets demand there will be food security. And the world, if it stopped waste has plenty of supply… We evidently supply enough food for 40 million. I’d say we have oodles of Food Security…..

        • PhD’s have not been what they used to be, for years. I got some research done about 15 years ago by a research unit attached to Otago University. I recall having discussion with the guy leading the unit who also supervised PhD students. He got his PhD in the 1970s when they were worth something. He told me that Universities had turned into “graduate factories” with no quality control. He said one of his students was due in that afternoon for a meeting but she would not turn up.
“Why” I asked. “Because she will have not done they work” he said.
” What do you mean? You have to tell her what do like an undergraduate ? ”
          ” Exactly ‘ he said.
That conversation was 15 years ago. Imagine what it is like now.

        • I remember a full page ad on the back of the Listener back around 2010. It was advertising how great Otago University was. The full page ad showed “Dr Glam”, otherwise known as Ian Chapman who in 2012 he finished his PhD in Glam Rock.
What amazed me the most was not that Ian was doing such a trivial and pointless PhD, but that Otago Uni thought, out of all their inmates, that it the best to advertisement for higher education.
And what job did he get??? He now teaches students about performance, song-writing and music iconography at Otago University.
So he fits right in with ethos of uni’s, suck the students dry leaving them a debt and then spit them out or in his case, make them work to pay off their debt by drawing in more unsuspecting victims.

    • What does a community meal consist of?
      3 course meal? or 4 or 5.
      Entree?
      Soup?
      Mains?
      Dessert?

Does she eat all the courses?
Does she go back for 2nds? or 3rds?

A loaf of bread & a dozen eggs would make for a breakfast, for a week, or is that hidden?

With that diet, and some exercise, sounds all part of, “you will have nothing, and you will be happy”, so why the complaints.

National leader Judith Collins is accusing the Government of pressuring police commissioner Andrew Coster into ditching armed response teams – and wants them brought back amid spiralling gun violence.

“We had the Government basically pushing around the police and getting the police commissioner to stop that trial when it was clearly needed – and we’re seeing the results of some of that now,” Collins told The AM Show.

“I represent Papakura electorate – [I] have done for almost 20 years – people there don’t like the fact that they have to live next door, in some cases, to armed gang members.

“It’s very important… that he gets back into that front line and starts listening to his troops,” Collins said.

“People in south Auckland do not want armed gang members – they’d much rather have an ART or unit that’s able to help whenever they need.”

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2021/07/rental-property-wofs-chl-e-swarbrick-branded-naive-mark-richardson-called-out-for-victimising-himself-in-fierce-clash.html

Green Party MP Chlöe Swarbrick has accused staunch landlord advocate Mark Richardson of unnecessarily “victimising himself” during a fierce clash over the Green Party’s proposed warrant of fitness (WOF) for rental properties.

The Green Party is calling on the Government to introduce WOFs for rental properties to ensure the Healthy Homes Standards are being upheld for tenants, who are more likely to live in damp, unhealthy homes than homeowners.

Swarbrick suggested that in the context of landlords charging an average of $500 per week, a WOF with an estimated cost of $150 to $250 “makes a whole lot of sense”.

Can Rand Paul be more effective? and follow through.
Does he run the risk of being censored? and/or censureship?
Yeah Nah ….. the answer is in the video, Rand Paul, pulled his punches, got his sound bite, so he could use that raise money for re-election.

An interview of about Dr, David Martin’s original statement.
That is the guy that followed the patent set up from about 1999, and the interlinking companies.

Dr. Martin is sort of covering and reaffirming the grounds he has exposed, but it seems to remain suppressed, not only debated, discussed, thought about.

      The criminals actually indict themselves.
Collusion, Racketeering, a form of domestic terrorism.
Is the Spike Protein a biological weapon?

The story is not really about a virus.
He shows a great connections of how this was colluded, and conspired in very recent years, so that a dogma, the answer being science, that saves humanity. 🙁
It is good as he uses all the FDA, NIH, the words, documents, etc., of what all these high elite have actually said.

From @ 23 mins 23 secs he does go out on limb of conjecture, sort of understandable, but not totally on facts as he wonders about things. up to 26 mins.

Though he has been before a Congressional Committee, but not being amplified by the media, or deeper questions by media.
So what drives him, his to keep announcing, where ever he can, as the Courts and others refuse to look into this..
So that some person or people can push forward to bring this up more openly for full on discussion, and more true consideration, with independent investigations, proper set up for studies, and inquiries.

@31 : 15 mRNA Vaccine does not fit into patents, as technically it was NOT a vaccine, as there is “a legal standard for what defines a vaccine” & also an “FDA standard”.
[So it got through on EUA?]
@31 : 35 mRNA Injecting a stimulant to produce a toxin, for the 2ndary benefit that you hope your body builds an immune response, to the toxin your body produces.

@ 32 : 23 Clinical trials did not measure an immune response.
They did not measure infection response.
They did not measure transmission [shedding] response.

[to think if that TB vaccine, shedded so it affected othesra

So the benefits of what every other vaccines purports to have, was never measured in these trials.

There seems to be no transparency of just What Is In The “Vaccine” the other material as he declares.
So can not comment on those issues.

Transmission, a form of “shedding” and the effects, and there seems to be a concern.
Humans were not encoded to make S Proteins, so the risk to people, but it is known and documented to be a known risk & concern.

Department of Justice has ‘prosecutional’ discretion, even if a crime has been committed, as intent seems to be an escape hatch in not prosecuting a crime.
So a conflict of interest, and so crime can run unchecked.
Like Spike protein being transferred a month before from Chapel Hill labs to Moderna, in 2019 before the pandemic was recognized. Documented, as sending samples in November. and was sent to media, but that media continues sitting on it.
Compares to Rand Paul questions to Fauci, but Rand Paul choked, as this Doctor sent all that info to Rand Paul when it should have been a “knock out blow”.

Rand Paul, turned it into a sound bite for raising money for his re-election campaign, as Rand Paul, social media

June 11th Ron Johnson’s letter was provided with that information by Dr Martin, but they stop short of stating a crime was committed, and a nice way to raise money for re election.
Gives then most credit to Ron Johnson for the little he did,.as further than all others .

The public system has failed the public.
Many do not want to turn the stone over, search to see what is really going on.
The media and the politicians all playing the sound bites, but not getting anything done.

E&OE of my understanding of what is said. 🙂

Nor did Rand Paul do a “knock-out” blow, so will the evidence be able to be produced to prove lying?

Good riddance Fauci, but the rest of the crew are still well ensconced in power.

I couldn’t sleep last night and was scrolling through a discussion about the Lewis Hamilton / Max Verstappen racing incident on the weekend around 2:30am that led to a bit of profile scrolling and discovering more and more things. One of the very interesting discussions was around vaccine passports. The very basic point was:

Why the fuck is it a vaccine passport rather than a display of immunity?

Or words to that effect. And that’s a bloody good point, because if there are travel restrictions other countries are enforcing to require vaccination – then surely an unvaccinated person who has had Covid-19 should be as free to travel without MIQ? After all, you have a natural immunity rather than an artificial one.

First prize, of course, is if the world would wake up from this collective derangement and accept that this is a virus that we’ll all have to live with like all the other superbugs out there and we can all go about our lives as normal.

Either way, passing it on to ACT HQ.

    • What are the practical differences* between: a) a person who has had a strain of the coronavirus and who has naturally recovered, and b) a person who has been vaccinated twice recently by, say, the Pfizer vaccine.

      * Differences:
      – In terms of ability to become re-infected with another strain of the coronavirus
      – In terms of ability to transmit a strain of coronavirus to others
      – Degree of illness if infected by a strain of coronavirus

If there is no practical difference, then authorities would want to know which of 3 categories a traveler would come under:
      1. Vaccinated twice
      2. Exposed to and naturally recovered from the virus
      3. Neither vaccinated nor exposed to the virus

And all this ignores the effects of any newly emerging strains of the virus which may (like flu virus mutations each season) render the current vaccines ineffective and also be capable of infecting people who have recovered from bouts with earlier strains of the virus.

    • GP practices are normally the administering centres for any other health outbreak, so why are GP’s practices not included in administering clotshots? Is it that the clown car don’t want patients discussing their suitability to receive said clotshot so all the sickly patients obediently line up at the approved clotshot centres?

  19. Would somebody pop over to my plcae and give me a stiff upper cut? I was borde so i wondered over to the Herald. There this article caught my attention and I stupidly started reading the opinion piece,

This quote had me thinking what the fuck? “And it encouraged the usual sort of denial comments that do nothing to add to the debate. I overheard the day after the protest a comment that “we need some research, the climate is always changing, how do we know that fossil fuels actually play a part?”

Which was, as Alanis would have pointed out, somewhat ironic given that 24 hours after the Howl of a Protest, the northwest of the South Island experienced a weather-bomb of biblical proportions. ”

The weather bomb of biblical proprtions has FUCK all to do with the long term climate changes. However, the watchersnews has flooding ocurrung in every continent. Now to cause flooding, you need rain, which needs clouds. Lots of them. And its an inconveneint truth that more cloudiness is associated with cooler periods. So yes there could be a link, but it would be arguing that we are moving into a cloudier, wetter, COLDER period…. Now that would be Real Irony.

    • Just another tosser who does not understand the broader picture and decides the Ute Tax is the focus, rather than the straw that broke the camel’s back.

      * What about the land reclassification as the government steals productive land off farmers?
      * What about the national pugging rules that fucked over the South Island farmers?
      * What about the governments’ negative messaging about farmers, who are the cleanest, most environmentally friendly in the world?
      * What about the suicide rates of our farmers under this fucking Labour government?
      * etc.

Ben Kepes is a dick. And if you go look up his credentials he’s not just as the Herald says “a Christchurch-based investor and entrepreneur”. He seems far more aligned recently with the government than with business.

      He’s on the board of:

      * Kordia – a state owned enterprise
      * Ᾱkina Foundation – who helps businesses, government agencies, social and community enterprises tackle challenges like poverty, inequality, environmental degradation and climate change
      * Paenga Kupenga – a shadow organisation with very little available beyond having a few Christchurch councillors on their board
      etc.

And then also supplies outdoor wear and workwear through Cactus Outdoor. I wonder how many of his products end up in the rural sector?

A leading economist is warning high inflation may have a bit more “stickiness” in it yet – and it could take a few years to tame.

“Under the bonnet, there’s a whole lot of inflationary pressures out there,” he said on Tuesday. “Globalisation is starting to reverse [and] Government policy’s got a pretty strong redistributive element to it – that’s adding an awful lot on to costs.

Bagrie predicted that during the next six months, New Zealand will start to wear the cost of several infrastructure projects.

“They’re going to get absolutely blown out of the water… because we’re seeing an awful lot of construction cost inflation out there,” he said.

  22. Shortages. You will notice some shelves at the supermarket are empty or some of your favourite brands are no longer available.
Well it is the same with getting parts. I have two ATVs in pieces waiting on parts along with six other bikes. The agents have run out of those parts in NZ and are waiting for more from overseas.
No loan bikes available as they are all out on loan. Luckily I managed to scrounge a relative’s spare bike.
I recently received an email from a local agent to put my name down to secure a new ATV. I will have to join the queue as no bike no work.
Not since the Muldoon days have we had to put our names on a waiting list to get new equipment.
When is this crap going to bite the rural sector?

      • They’re going to be a challenge to design. Car batteries are north of 650kg so I’d imagine that nothing under a ton would power a ute that would carry a useful load even with a modest range.

The centre of gravity in a 4×4 with a battery maybe 400 to 500mm above ground level won’t inspire confidence.

      Ooooooh scary drought.
      —————
Stage one water restrictions are in place across Auckland
On 26 November 2020, Auckland Council’s governing body voted to adjust mandatory water restrictions for residential water users. Since 14 December 2020, residents have been able to:
Use hand-held hoses and water blasting devices so long as they are fitted with trigger nozzles.
      Commercial water users can:
Use a hand-held hose fitted with a trigger nozzle
Use a regular hose for health, safety, emergency and biosecurity reasons
      blah blah
      ———
540 mm of rain so far this year and they still call it a drought.
Over half a metre on every roof , concrete drive or patch of lawn and it is a drought.

Christchurch gets about 600 mm for the whole year.
      As does London.

The Government has spent $8.1m to buy a motel in Rotorua for temporary housing.

But while the deputy mayor backs the step by officialdom from paying motieliers to house emergency housing cases to becoming a landlord itself, it has been slammed by local National MP Todd McClay.

Kāinga Ora announced the purchase on Wednesday saying the 30 unit property would provide over 80 people with temporary housing.

The agency said the 0.66 hectare site would also offer longer term redevelopment potential for “new warm, dry and healthy public housing in Rotorua”.

From memeory I remember reading they could have been 125% but I may be off here. However, thats still a shit load more energy bouncing around as the temperature gradient between the poles and tropics is steepened, generating stronger winds.

If you want evidence the MSM including Newshub are part of Labour Party propaganda machine then look no further than the miniscule coverage given to the massive farmer Groundwell protests last Friday and since then. New Zealanders turned out in over 50 towns throughout the country, shops were shut and free food was handed out there were tears and applause, shared stories of hardship and camaraderie everywhere up and down the country. In my home town of Kerikeri 500 vehicles turned up which is unprecedented for our little town. One News had it as their 5th story on the late news that day which tells us a lot.

I think we need a monthly tractor protest, and if that doesn’t get attention a weekly one and then we need Yellow Vets and blockade Auckland for a whole fucking week. It can be done. We just need smart organisers. Then maybe she’ll notice. ( The next stage is burning tractor tyres and pangas, but hopefully we wont need to go there. 28. “Let us start with a principle: that civil government has zero jurisdiction over thought. Let us also recognize that this isn’t just about what they perceive to be the “truth.” It is about power over what can be said.

Their problem is that the truth is an ever-fixed mark. While they cannot transform the truth – the truth, by its very nature, is unchanging – they circumvent this limitation by exercising power over what can be said.

This gives the impression that what can be said is what is supposed to be said, and that what is prohibited must certainly be false. Not by the merits of the claim but whether the claim is allowed to be communicated or researched or even debated. This is how falsehoods win over the truth, and how politics corrupts it all.”

  29. https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2021/07/national-leader-judith-collins-calls-for-police-minister-poto-williams-sacking.html
National leader Judith Collins has called for Police Minister Poto Williams to be sacked over her response to questions about arming police officers.

Collins made the call after Williams was interviewed by Newstalk ZB about National MP Simeon Brown wanting to bring back Armed Response Teams (ARTs), which were trialled last year and discontinued.

Williams was asked if she agreed with a statement issued by the group People Against Prisons Aotearoa after Police Commissioner Andrew Coster confirmed ARTs would not go ahead.

“We are committed to disarming, defunding, and abolishing the bloodstained, racist institution of policing and replacing it with community justice,” spokesperson Emilie Rākete said at the time.

Williams said she was “not giving them the time of day”, referring to People Against Prisons Aotearoa’s statement, but she did not condemn Rākete’s words either, which Collins says is unacceptable.

“The interview was a train wreck from beginning to end and quite frankly it is time the Prime Minister steps in to replace her with someone who is capable of advocating for and caring about police officers.”

The Police Minister told Newstalk ZB she was concerned about Māori and Pacific communities, with regard to arming police.

Here’s a particular egregious lie, that the “epidemic is now solely in the unvaccinated”. It is said by, among others, the POTUS & the director of the CDC.
Folks, they’re lying into your faces. Why?

Have a look at the way Kiwis back in the 30’s built the hydro dams on the Waikato River. They’re curved back against the weight of the water so the pressure goes into the bedrock on either side.
