i dont see how averaging a bunch of polls showing theyre under 5% equals theyre now above 5%???? what mental gymnastics are the performing to do that!

if we want to play their retard game then winnie must be over 20% and act on 15%.//////

i think theyve double counted the top leaders points twice or something…. and everyone knows two wongs dont make a right 🤣🤣🤣

Nah, look its easy to show that any number equals any other number

Start with two numbers that are the same: (a = b)

Multiply both sides by (a): (a^2 = ab)

Subtract (b^2) from both sides: (a^2 – b^2 = ab – b^2)

Split both sides into parts: ((a – b)(a + b) = b(a – b))

Cross out ((a – b)\) on both sides: (a + b = b\)

Replace (a) with (b) because they are equal: (b + b = b)

Add them up: (2b = b)

Morning all, very cold hereup sky just starting to get light. I see Bill Oddie of the Goodies has died. He was 85. I can remember him years ago but can’t imagine him being old.RIP Bill – Ikky Thump and their holiday in Wales where it never stopped raining until the snow started will live forever. No doll was involved in this one.

He often spoke about overpopulation and advocated British couples having fewer children with which I agree. But I never heard him say a peep about the population growth caused by the immigration of low IQ rat like breeders from the third world so in my book he was a c**t.

One prominent example is from a 2014 appearance on BBC One’s Sunday Morning Live, during a debate titled “Is the UK too hostile to immigration?”

Bill Oddie argued that overpopulation was the core issue, not immigration, and suggested restricting the number of children British families could have (comparing it to aspects of China’s former one-child policy). Key quotes include:

  • “There should just as likely be a restriction on the number of children that British people have because over-population is what you are talking about here, the big problem.”
  • “So you say these perfectly well-qualified people can’t come in, but the woman down the road has just had her 10th baby. Well I’m sorry, but they are the people that really should be contained. It would make a difference.”

He also expressed strong views on British identity and attitudes toward immigration:

  • He said he was “very often ashamed to be British” and described the British as “a terrible race” due to “chauvinism,” “hooliganism,” and isolationism.
  • He praised multiculturalism, noting how immigration had enriched his north London neighborhood with diverse shops and builders, and criticized anti-immigration sentiments as ridiculous (“this is our island and we don’t want anybody else in it”).

Grok.

All pushing to ban in various ways, “free speech”.

A continuation of Ardern’s decree on banning, total censure-ship of a manifesto, to making it a “Christchurch Call”.

Then all the strings they systemically pulled in shutting down access to data, information, because they deemed themselves as the “only source of truth”.

And so it looks to continue where they can for the moment, while awaiting to bring it all on if there is a change of government.

Willis stuffing up again. The Reserve Bank requested for it to be able to roll over $10 million it did not spend last year, into this year. Unless Willis can show the RB budget/funding was somehow bloated last year then refusing this request is crazy.
This is exactly what Government Departments should be encouraged to do —if they can be financially prudent one year and the surplus can be carried over they could be able to look at worthwhile ambitious projects for the future. We all do this in our household budgets.
By refusing the rollover the RB ( and other Departments) will just continue the usual spend up on wasteful things at the end of the financial year, so they do not have their budgets cut for the following year. This stupidity has been going on for decades.

If she had a rider to her refusal along the lines of ” Adrian Orr bloated the RB organisation massively during his tenure so there is plenty of room for cut backs to give you the additional revenue ” then I might give her some slack, but I doubt that rider was added.
