Just 2 weeks ago I went to see the Dolly Parton show here at the live theatre. It was a great show with the lady herself narrating it on a screen, including, I might say, her saying something about her breasts.
Lots of songs and costumes.
If it comes your way, go watch it.

https://www.baycourt.co.nz/whats-on/event-details/tctl/24322_eventdetails/event/fb61ac66-5a86-42b5-aa2b-162fcb7d7800

9 to 5.
Presented by Stage Right Trust

Tumble outta bed and stumble to Dolly Parton’s hilarious musical!

With a rip-roaring score by the Queen of Country, 9 to 5 The Musical is set in 1979 and tells the story of three workmates pushed to boiling point by their sexist and egotistical boss. Concocting a plan to kidnap and turn the tables on their despicable boss, will the ladies manage to reform their office, or will events unravel when the Chairman of the Board pays an unexpected visit?

Inspired by the iconic 80s film and brought to you by Dolly herself, this hilarious musical is about teaming up, standing up, and taking care of business!

This year Stage Right Trust are supporting Dress for Success Bay of Plenty – We would also like to encourage patrons to bring any unwanted female business wear to donate. Items can be handed to our programme sellers on show nights and will go directly towards supporting Dress for Success clients.

Dwarf farm. Which one is he?

AI Overview

The names of the seven dwarfs from Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey. [1]
The Seven Dwarfs and Their Personalities

  1. Doc: The self-appointed leader of the group who wears glasses and often stumbles over his words.
  2. Grumpy: The cranky and cynical member who initially dislikes Snow White before growing protective of her.
  3. Happy: The cheerful, jolly, and optimistic optimist of the group.
  4. Sleepy: The lazy and perpetually tired dwarf who constantly fights off yawns.
  5. Bashful: The extremely shy, blushing, and sentimental dwarf.
  6. Sneezy: The dwarf famous for his massive, powerful sneezes caused by hay fever.
  7. Dopey: The silly, mute, and childlike youngest dwarf who wears a oversized purple tunic.

So put your number pic in the comments.

I will start with 1 or maybe 7.

“If you’re praying for a common-sense decision by politicians, I wouldn’t hold my breath.”

In December 2024, Minister of Racing Winston Peters announced a ban on greyhound racing, with the sport to be phased out over 20 months.
At the time, Peters cited years of concern around racing accidents resulting in dog fatalities or injuries and the failure to improve key performance indicators outlined in three separate reports.

Can’t have competition with horses, can we?

Whanganui’s Hatrick Raceway still to be sold following greyhound ban

I think V2, that was the plan of Peters and the Horse Racing Industry all along, was to get rid of the Dogs and have the money put on the Dogs at the TAB diverted into Horses. This is the Horse Racing Industry having influence over Peters as Minister for Racing.

Another demolition of a great NZ industry, infrastructure and the fabric of this country by self centered fuckwits.

SEEKING A RETURN ON INVESTMENT?
RadioNZ is tracking the big money being raised to fund the 2026 election. You can see their data analysis here. A standout feature is how weak National’s small individual donations are. They are very reliant on a small group of very large supporters. Even ACT gets better individual support.

Another notable feature is how many of these heavy-hitters are from the horse racing industry, expecially for NZ First.

there’s alot of less than average out there.

RNZ radio ratings — listenership back over 500,000; Morning Report audience risesRNZ has made strong gains in Auckland and overall but dropped back in Wellington and Christchurch.
The number of people listening to RNZ has risen back above the important 500,000 mark following a period of major on-air changes at the public broadcaster.
And John Campbell is having a positive early impact as Morning Report co-host — the show’s audience is up 6300 to a total cumulative audience of 342,800, according to the latest GFK numbers released today.
Campbell started at Morning Report, alongside Ingrid Hipkiss, in April.
While the full impact of Campbell’s arrival in major cities won’t be known until the next survey — and for all of New Zealand until later next year — RNZ will be taking heart with today’s numbers.

CIA director travels to Moscow for secret talks
The director of the CIA travelled to Russia in a military plane on Tuesday for talks.
John Ratcliffe arrived on a US air force Boeing C-17 Globemaster transport plane, which was seen flying above Moscow. A US motorcade stopped traffic in the Russian capital later the same day.
It is unclear who Ratcliffe was travelling with or planning to meet. The visit is Ratcliffe’s first known trip to Moscow since he became head of the CIA.
Before the visit, Washington told counterparts in Ukraine to suspend strikes on Russia until the delegation had left Moscow, according to reports.

I am not sure whether I am mentally retarded or this country has gone to the Dogs, bigtime.

I was reading the latest edition of the Ruapehu Bulletin and contained therein is an advertisement from the Conservation Department for “Notification of License Concession Application”.

This Application for a “License Concession” is from Fire and Emergency New Zealand to continue to have a Fire Station at Whakapapa at The Chateau on Mt Ruapehu.

DOC, in the Advertisement, are calling for people who want to object to this “Concession” to do so in writing by mid September.

Maybe I am devoid of understanding but why does a Government Department (DOC) have to “License” another Government Department (FENZ) to operate on Government controlled land and to protect public facilities. The cost to FENZ to put in this application, the cost of their Legal Fees, writing and submitting their submission etc must be huge and just a great waste of public money.

There has been a Fire Station on Ruapehu for many, many years, but now FENZ have to plead with DOC to keep it there and go through a whole pile of bullshit to maintain FENZ’s long stand facility on the mountain. Quite frankly FENZ should just say, “Fuck It, we are off, see ya” and should there be a fire (as there was a large one just down the road in February), let the place burn to the ground.

What a waste of time and money, but I guess it keeps the drongos in DOC busy and enables them to “consult more with IWI on an inconsequential matter.

A ‘miracle cure’ for cancer or a triumph of marketing over medicine. Survivors of the “Podium of Truth” may be forgiven for expressing scepticism. From https://expose-news.com/2026/08/25/cancer-vaccines-dont-let-them-inject-you/

#. “After five years of being bashed on unsafe, ineffective, uncontrollable spike protein-producing (Spikevax, mNEXSPIKE) vaccines, Moderna is solidly back home in the cancer business, and their stock performance couldn’t be any better.”

The English language has been hacked & “vaccine” no longer means what we think it does. Instead of immunisation it now refers to using mRNA as a vector to deliver targeted chemotherapy.

Cancer sufferers grasping at straws is understandable. The mangling of the vernacular to allow greedy, murderous pharmaceutical companies to pad their balance sheets is unforgivable.

Currently, there is a treatment process in place where Ultrasonics are used to kill tumours. The ultrasound is used through a lance, and that is pushed into the tumour. The ultrasonics explode the tumour cells. It’s happening, works and is cheap to do.

Ultrasonic sound bubbles burst at around 4000 degrees and kill the cancer cells.
I have a couple of big baths if someone needs treatment.

An email from the Free Speech Union that landed in my in box last night referenced an informative Substack article on the subject of the Online Safety Bill currently being promoted by Alopecia Jesus. The author is David Harvey, a former District Court Judge but don’t let that put you off a fairly long though well written opinion piece. He is not an activist nor a handwringer like most of his ilk.

https://djhdcj.substack.com/p/a-law-that-the-people-it-targets?r=1n1c25

The Bill is just a long form version of “Won’t someone think of the children!” The devil is in the detail & the associated loss of freedoms of speech. There are only limited options & they won’t work as intended. From the précis in the FSU mail:

#. “Document verification turns every covered service into a honeypot of passports and driver licences. In 2025 Discord exposed roughly 70,000 users’ government IDs through a compromised vendor, and the Tea app leaked tens of thousands of verification selfies and IDs. A leaked password can be reset. A leaked passport cannot.”

#. “Facial estimation is spoofable — Australian teenagers reportedly defeated the cameras with a drawn-on moustache — and genuinely inaccurate in the 13 to 17 band that actually matters.”

#. “Inference is behavioural profiling, a surveillance technique the Bill elsewhere lists as a risk and here repurposes as a safety tool.”

As the Judge writes:

“A law its targets can defeat with a felt-tip pen is not regulation.

It is theatre — and that evidence was available before New Zealand chose to proceed. “

There is an unknown behind the legislation & it intrigues me as it is a yardstick of how far the WEF have penetrated the governance of this, supposedly independent, archipelago at the arse end of the South Pacific.

Scenario 1.

Alopecia Jesus & the wet, Catholic Nats actually & really believe that the Online Safety Bill will miraculously work as intended. There could also be a presumption that even if it doesn’t it is a step in the right direction & can be tightened up later. Data that tracks internet users is merely a handy byproduct.

Scenario 2.

The WEF have stirred up the handwringers & the socialist teachers to lay a framework of concern to build the legislation on. Now that the base is there Luxon & his venal bought & paid for mob are under instructions to get the tracking of internet users under way & cemented in while the sun shines on the project. IOW the kiddy winkies are useful idiots for the cause.

Trust or cynicism? I’ve made my choice. What’s yours?

Another way also of setting up a base to own your finances.

I now find the  Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act. is also creeping along.
As some corporates like even one of the Freezing Works I know, are now demanding that their clients have to sign up with all attendant ID, addresses, IRD numbers all in some sort of verifyable form that has to be signed, before paying out, and after taking & slaughtering some stock. Bastards.!

Why do I get the awful feelz that it just takes some “captain’s call”, out side of legislation or a court-order, and your funds can be syphoned off for some other reason, like Net Zero, Carbon taxes, Environment, Climate Change, etc., etc..

At this stage it is just one freezing works company, but that is being pushed & is in a creep mode.

As many Truckers in Canada of Freedom Convoy found when Trudeau was able to freeze their bank accounts for supporting and protesting.

will this be the lead item on our MSM today?

https://www.rt.com/news/644646-rochdale-grooming-gang-retrial/

“A 2014 report on rape gangs in Rotherham found that social workers, youth workers, and police officers ignored reports that 1,400 children had been abused by the gangs, partly for fear of being seen as racist. A nationwide audit published this year concluded that authorities in 50 towns and cities were reluctant to investigate the gangs due to the fact that the overwhelming majority of perpetrators were of Pakistani origin.
The most shocking report, funded by Restore Britain MP Rupert Lowe and published in June, found that Pakistani rape gangs operated in 149 of the UK’s 317 municipalities. The report determined that a “bare minimum” of 250,000 women and girls had been raped by grooming gangs since the year 2000, and that senior politicians helped the gangs escape prosecution. “

New Zealand Centre for Political Research Facebook Group
Frank Newman  ·

Philip Crump: Covid – Off-LabelMedsafe approved Pfizer’s booster at six months. New Zealand moved to five, then to four, and finally, three. The more interesting story is how the law changed to allow it.

The Government has now responded to Phase Two of the Royal Commission of Inquiry into COVID-19, released in March. It will not proceed with standalone pandemic legislation, preferring a review of the Health Act to balance public health, the economy and the rights of New Zealanders.

Before designing the next framework, it’s worth considering how some aspects of the last one worked. Notably, the story of the booster interval shows how quickly a medical decision can become a programme decision.
In late 2021 Medsafe assessed Pfizer’s evidence and approved its booster at least six months after the primary course. How boosters were deployed was then for the Government. The difficulty arose when the programme wanted to operate outside Medsafe’s approved terms.

New Zealand’s technical advisers, the COVID-19 Vaccine Technical Advisory Group (CV TAG), recommended shortening the booster interval to five months. Four days later, the Government announced four. Six weeks after that, it was three.

This is not an argument that three months was wrong. Australia and Britain were shortening intervals too, and there were real epidemiological reasons to boost people sooner. But as New Zealand moved from six months to five, then four, then three, Medsafe’s approved six month interval never changed.

What changed was the decision-making machinery. A judgment that began inside the medicines-regulatory process as an assessment of safety and efficacy became a programme judgment, balancing clinical risk against population benefit, operational simplicity and public communications.
