These medical arseholes still don’t get it do they?
Time they were censured and sent DCM.

Nelson GP censured after prescribing Ivermectin for Covid-19A Nelson doctor who prescribed the unapproved drug Ivermectin to treat Covid-19 has been censured for professional misconduct after a tribunal found her actions compromised patient care and brought discredit to the medical profession.

The Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal upheld charges against Dr Caroline Wheeler following a hearing in Nelson earlier this year, finding her guilty of malpractice and bringing discredit to the profession.

The disciplinary action arose after Wheeler issued an anticipatory prescription for Ivermectin in November 2021 to a patient, Gary Cunliffe, to use if he contracted Covid-19. When Cunliffe took the medication after becoming infected in July 2022, he was subsequently admitted to hospital with seizures.

His in-hospital treating clinician lodged a complaint with the Medical Council of New Zealand, triggering an investigation that revealed Wheeler had prescribed Ivermectin to multiple other non-enrolled patients without notifying their regular GPs.

https://www.stuff.co.nz/nz-news/361031295/nelson-gp-censured-after-prescribing-ivermectin-covid-19
Although Wheeler has since retired from practice, the tribunal ruled that a formal censure was necessary to uphold professional standards and maintain public confidence.
Wheeler was censured and ordered to pay 25% of the total costs incurred by the tribunal and the Professional Conduct Committee.

With any good fortune, she will tell them to get fucked. Did the patient get a jab? Not covered here. Oh but he got COVID and had seizures. How disgraceful.

Reading a Breitbart article re patrons being kicked out of a Women’s only Sports Bar for wearing clothing that said no men’s in women’s sports. The bar had rainbow flags flying and probably had plenty of trans in there.
Made me think, what has happened to the Maori only speaking cafe in Taupo/Rotorua from a few months ago, anybody know did it open, has it closed.

From AI.
Yes, Rotorua’s Rumaki Cafe opened at the end of July 2026 and remains open.
Details

  • Location: 1240 Fenton Street, Rotorua
  • Concept: Promoted as Aotearoa’s first full-immersion te reo Māori cafe, where the language is used at the counter and in the kitchen.
  • Accessibility: Despite initial media reports about a strict “no English” rule, the venue includes a welcoming area and visual cues or QR codes to support visitors and learners with little to no prior knowledge of the language.
  • Hours: Open seven days a week, operating as a cafe by day and a licensed restaurant by night.

So you’re no too late to visit HP.

The votes are barely counted in Saxony-Anhalt, and Berlin’s answer to a 43.8 percent landslide for the anti-mass-migration AfD is not reflection. It is a threat.
Bild reports Chancellor Friedrich Merz told his party’s federal executive on Monday that Germany has 𝘢 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 and 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 to defend it against 𝘢 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵-𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵.
Read that again. The party that won first place and 39 of 83 seats is the one the Chancellor is promising to 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞.
The party that crashed to 17.2 percent, his own CDU, is the one that gets to decide what counts as ‘extremist.’
It gets stranger. Saxony-Anhalt’s own domestic intelligence office has already classified the state AfD as 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵-𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘵, a label that unlocks powers to surveil and infiltrate it. As Breitbart notes, that sets up a scenario where 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐩𝐲 𝐨𝐧.

Merz, according to Bild, said the CDU lost 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 and that the result 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴. Churches issued statements of concern.
Per Breitbart, a major union demanded every 𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘤𝘦 freeze the 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘴 out. Not one of them asked why voters in nearly every demographic, including the youngest, walked away from them.
The AfD is still three seats short of a majority, and its only realistic partner is Sahra Wagenknecht’s populist-left BSW, which also wants mass migration stopped.

That is the ‘bombshell’ Berlin fears most: 𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐝.
𝐀 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 ‘𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬’ 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬.

i got a heads up start of covid from a mate in the industry that prices were about to skyrocket so i bulk purchased my main rounds esp the rimfire as i was shooting petfood for a living back then. what i purchased at $105 per brick is now just shy of $500.

fwiw i was at a hunting store yesterday and the firearm prices were pretty reasonable i thought esp compared to the inflation everywhere else. accessories are pretty pricey tho.

Britain will run a mobilization drill next year on its 95,000-strong “𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞” 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐬, testing whether the Ministry of Defense can even find veterans, call them up, and equip them if a war with Russia broke out, LBC reports. Armed Forces Minister Louise Sandher-Jones told a House of Lords committee it would happen “𝘰𝘯 𝘢 𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯’𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦.”
Here is the part that should embarrass every politician in Westminster. The British Army has shrunk to roughly 𝟕𝟏,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 — 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬. Live-fire exercises in some units have reportedly been suspended until April to save money. And Lord Robertson, who ran last year’s defense review, warned that officials did not “𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵” of their own reservists even are.
So the government’s answer is to raise the maximum call-up age for some veterans 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟓𝟓 𝐭𝐨 𝟔𝟓, and to lower the legal threshold for mobilizing them from “𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳” to mere “𝘸𝘢𝘳-𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴.” Sandher-Jones herself conceded that when she left the Army and learned she was in the strategic reserve, she “𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯.”
Meanwhile London pledges 3.5% of GDP on defense — by 2035 — while the Treasury will not even set a timetable for hitting 3% until next year. This is the same British government that finds time to sanction Israel and lecture Washington. 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬. Now they are rehearsing how to call veterans as old as 65 back to the barracks to find out how hollow the force really is.

Should Russia come calling with weapons against the UK, studies done back in the 70’s indicated that any war (Which would be nuclear, not ‘conventional’ BTW) would be over in about 30 minutes, and that the USA would probably not get involved.

“butter up with the Labour Party”
Then throw the Land value tax & Universal Income Benefit out, and march on to gain the max out of bringing in a “Capital Gains Tax”.

As always the biggest gain for being a government, is inflation, as they have the most borrowed, so the most to gain.
The most sure way to make Capital Gains work even sooner & much more for a government.

So what does TOP care about inflation? Crickets.

What will the chances be that the IWI, Ngati Rangi claim all the land that is the Waiouru Military Base?

After all Ngati Rangi are building 50 houses there for the Army and betcha, they will retain ownership of the houses, be granted (gifted) the money by the Government to build the houses and then claim the land because their houses are on on the yet to be claimed land.

Something stinks here, why are Maori building houses on Government land, who is funding them, why can’t the Government or Army fund these houses out of their housing budget and build them, themselves, what is the rental agreement between Ngati Rangi and the Army, who has retained ownership of the 50 houses and what are the rewards, long term for the IWI?

i dont think itll sway many of the millions of supporters hes lost, they know a trillion less debt and trump impeached and removed from office will be far better off for americans then a bribe that will never happen.

If “it is the customer who pays the wages”, (Henry Ford) and there are fewer workers producing this stuff, therefore no wages, isn’t that also no customers?

Adair Turner argues that China’s technological prowess will inevitably drive down industrial employment worldwide.

China’s huge trade surplus, now running at over US$1 trillion per year, poses important macroeconomic and trade-policy issues, which were recently addressed in a valuable Project Syndicate compendium. But aside from short-term policy choices, it is also vital to understand the deeper implications of China’s manufacturing prowess for global trends in employment and relative prices.
China’s “Made in China” strategy, launched in 2015 to achieve leadership positions in advanced industrial sectors, has been stunningly successful. The United Nations Industrial Development Organization estimates that, on current trends, China’s share of global manufacturing value added, which was 6% in 2000 and 30% in 2020, could reach 45% by 2030. China produces nearly 75% of all electric vehicles sold worldwide and 86% of solar panels, and while it still lags behind the West in semiconductors and commercial airplanes, it is closing the technology gap.

he inevitable result will be very few manufacturing jobs anywhere. China’s 30% share of global manufacturing value added is produced by about 123 million workers; so, if world productivity matched Chinese productivity, all the manufactured goods the world consumes could be produced by around 400 million workers, which is about 7% of the global working-age population. And further rapid productivity improvements are inevitable. As a result, all manufactured goods will eventually be produced by just a few percent of the global workforce, repeating the pattern of developed-economy agricultural employment, which fell from typical workforce shares of around 40% in 1900 to 1–2.5% today.

https://www.interest.co.nz/economy/140188/adair-turner-argues-chinas-technological-prowess-will-inevitably-drive-down

There’s more in this and is a sobering read.

Chief of Army Major General Rose King (left) and Ngāti Rangi leader Tomairangi Mareikura sign an agreement for the construction of 50 homes for military personnel at the Waiōuru Military Camp. Photo / New Zealand Defence Force

A new land and housing deal between the New Zealand Defence Force and central North Island iwi Ngāti Rangi will see 50 homes built for military families at Waiōuru.

The land-and-leasing agreement, signed at Waiōuru on Wednesday, will give the iwi ownership of land and new housing at the Waiōuru Military Camp.

Fulfilling commitments made under the 2019 Ngāti Rangi Treaty settlement, the agreement provides for the homes and land they are built on to be sold to Ngāti Rangi and leased back to the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) under a long-term arrangement.

The deal addresses historical grievances associated with NZDF land, including damage to Te Onetapu, a site sacred to Ngāti Rangi.

BNZ this week issued a 100 million bond issue with over subscritions.
That took a few overs.
1.2 billion worth.

BNZ borrowing $1.25b in five-year bond issue that’ll pay annual interest of 4.8%

BNZ’s borrowing $1.25 billion in a five-year bond issue that will pay 4.844% annual interest and was open to retail investors.
The issue of unsecured, unsubordinated fixed rate notes was announced on Monday, with the bank seeking up to $100 million, but open to accept oversubscriptions at its discretion.
The interest rate is higher than BNZ’s current 4.70% advertised five-year term deposit rate. It’s the mid-market swap rate for an interest rate swap from the issue date to the maturity date as calculated by BNZ, plus a margin of 0.68%, the top of the indicitive margin range of 0.65% to 0.68% per annum provided by the bank.
The bonds will be issued on September 18, will be traded on the NZX Debt Market, and are set to mature on September 18, 2031. They’ve been sold in $5,000 minimum denominations and in multiples of $1,000 thereafter.

BNZ will use the money borrowed for “general business purposes.” It expects the bonds to have an AA- credit rating from S&P Global Ratings, and A1 from Moody’s Investors Service, with these ratings in line with BNZ’s own credit ratings.
On Thursday BNZ said it had received interest in the bond issue in excess of $1.2 billion, excluding lead manager trading interest. BNZ itself is the lead manager.

So they are betting the interest rates will stay north of 5%.

The Patriot Platform issues a stern warning to British authorities.

A growing movement is challenging the current state of the United Kingdom, asserting that local communities are facing drastic changes and that government protection has failed. This perspective highlights a shift in strategy, moving beyond traditional protests toward a coordinated resistance organized across English, Welsh, Scottish, and Northern Irish towns.
