  1. Did anyone else see Jacinda Ardern last night on TV???

It was the most horrible and unprofessional performance by a New Zealand Prime Minister in living history. The inane bitch giggled and laughed the WHOLE TIME at the Corona Crisis.

Jacinda’s behaviour was so bizarre that Rissole is convinced she was under the STRONG influence of recreational drugs last night.

    SERIOUSLY!

    Rissole is ANGRY.

Dr Ashley Bloomfield, War Criminal, should be facing a Nuremberg trial with the gallows as the penalty if found responsible for the deaths he has caused through suicide and neglect.

It would seem the Team of 5 million was destroyed on Saturday by the Team of 2,000 – including the YSB HEROES STARVING ARTIST, SAGGY AND RISSOLE!!!

Thank you. From what little I could see it appeared to be an interesting article, but unfortunately, the majority of it is behind a paywall, so is it -possible please to ‘copy and paste’ it here?

I note that, despite it’s ‘significance;’ this ‘abandonment’ does not appear to be important-enough to warrant comment by NZ media. seeming to prove (Yet again) that fifty-five million dollars does indeed buy a lot of silence…

      Thank you.

      • Here we go guys. From beyond the wall. I left in a comment about Aus running a $1m lottery if you get jabbed!

New Zealand finally abandons ‘Covid zero’ strategy after Jacinda Ardern admits Delta variant is a ‘game-changer’ – with 40% of the population now double-jabbed after slow roll-out

New Zealand has enforced harsh lockdowns to stop spread of the Delta variant
They have failed to control the virus with an additional 29 cases recorded today
Ardern has finally admitted she cannot eradicate Covid and will ease restrictions
New Zealand has finally acknowledged what most other countries realised long ago, that it cannot completely eradicate Covid.

Jacinda Ardern is abandoning her draconian ‘Zero Covid’ strategy after admitting she cannot stop the spread of the Delta variant with harsh lockdown measures and aggressive contact tracing.

The Pacific nation, which has been slow to move on vaccines with only 40 per cent of the population fully jabbed, managed to eliminate the virus last year and stayed largely free until an outbreak of the Delta variant in August after a traveller returned from Australia.

The restrictions have been in place despite only a total of 27 deaths recorded throughout the pandemic.

The prime minister enforced what was meant to be a ‘short and sharp’ nationwide lockdown in response to the Auckland outbreak of the ‘game changer’ variant, which now stands at 1,357 cases.

Jacinda Ardern is abandoning her draconian ‘Zero Covid’ strategy after admitting she cannot stop the spread of the Delta variant
But the harsh measures persisted in an effort to rid the country of the contagious strain, which have so far failed as an additional 29 infections were announced today.

Ardern told a news conference: ‘With this outbreak and Delta the return to zero is incredibly difficult.

‘This is a change in approach we were always going to make over time. Our Delta outbreak has accelerated this transition. Vaccines will support it.’

Ardern said a lockdown affecting 1.7million people in the biggest city Auckland will be scaled back in phases, with some freedoms introduced from Wednesday.

Amid mounting pressure, Ardern has said her strategy was never to have zero cases, but to aggressively stamp out the virus.

NZ PM drops COVID-19 elimination strategy as Delta persists

She said strict lockdowns will end once 90 per cent of the eligible population is vaccinated.

About two million New Zealanders have so far been fully vaccinated, or about 48 per cent of the eligible population.

The country began its vaccination campaign slowly compared with most other developed nations.

Ardern said the Delta variant felt like ‘a tentacle that has been incredibly hard to shake’.

‘It’s clear that a long period of heavy restrictions has not got us to zero cases. But it’s ok … elimination was important because we didn’t have vaccinations. Now we do. So we can begin to change the way we do things,’ she said.

People in Auckland will be able to leave their homes to connect with loved ones outdoors from Wednesday, with a limit of 10 people. People can go to beaches and parks, and also go hunting, Ardern said.

The dates for a phased reopening of retail stores and then bars and restaurants have yet to be decided.

Aucklanders turned to social media after the announcement, with many cheering the decision while others expressed concern.

‘I think if we’d been at 1-2 unlinked cases a day and/or no infections in community and no spread outside Auckland (and higher vaccination) I’d be cheering right now,’ one Aucklander said on Twitter.

Political parties on both sides slammed the move.

‘Jacinda Ardern has no answers to problems that she and her Government promised us were under control. The situation is now, very clearly, out of control and worsening every day,’ Opposition National Party leader Judith Collins said in a statement.

The government’s elimination approach through lockdown measures has been broadly supported but met with some resistance (pictured: an anti-lockdown and anti-vaxx protest in Auckland) +7

Ardern’s Labour Party coalition partner, Greens, said the move put the safety of vulnerable communities and children at risk.

The government’s elimination approach had been broadly supported by New Zealanders but was facing increasing criticism. Over the weekend, hundreds of people turned out at rallies protesting against the lockdown.

Opposition legislator Chris Bishop said the government had no clear strategy to deal with the outbreak other than total surrender.

But Ms Ardern said most measures would remain in place to keep the outbreak under control, including exhaustive contact tracing and isolating those who got infected.

‘There’s good cause for us to feel optimistic about the future,’ she said. ‘But we cannot rush.’

        • She forget to tell Grunter Robertson that the plan had changed yesterday morning.
He was busy extolling the virtues of elimination to Mike Yardley at 7.10am and that it was the only way until Jacinda chucked him under a bus at 4pm.

          BV

That alone should scare a rational person. Especially in NZ,

We had a virus, impotent compared to the flu. So did Australia. So now they have a “free” lottery,

The rules of the Cloud apply here: If a product or service is free. you are the product !!!

People are lining up to take part in a lottery, where the winner gets $1M to spend in a dystopian police controlled country where you cannot travel, go overseas, build a business, a property portfolio, or do anything that $1M would be of value.

No doubt some idiots will get jabbed under multiple aliases. They will long enough to get the $1M, buy crisps and beer and porno films before dropping dead.

It’s a lottery where if you win you get sick or die, and if you lose, you get sick or die.

  3. FFS, The HAGS and FAGS on TV1s breakfast show seem to be calling for outright discrimination against the unvaccinated amongst their fellow NZrs, where has the tough and tenacious Kiwi that has over the decades and centuries faced down some far more serious threats than a fucking flu virus gone ??
We are morphing into a whining cowardly gutless populace that takes some bizarre pleasure from spying on and ratting on their fellow NZrs ..

    ClarkE must have texted her.

But the person that we need to string up is the one who panicked in her usual manner, made a lot of noise, circumvented NZ’s drug buying agency and signed up the Phizer deal.
The buck stops at the top.
She has promoted that mantra a few times over the years.
    Now it’s her turn.

They got jabbed to get their freedom back so do you think theyre happy they can now have a contactless picnic? Or will they be cowerìng at home in disapproval?

After yesterdays podium of truth performance the mind boggles at how the stupid bint can top the confusion and contradictions at the next lvls announcement but one things for sure is cindy will certainly top it next time.
The roadmaps plan sounds like the most rushed and panicked plan ive heard for a while, after hearing ryan bridges get stuck into her yesterday morning you know damn well they panicked and had to change the plan that he called them out on she was a deer in headlights when ryan ripped into her.

Her husband was in a rest home because he was in a wheel chair. The rest home would not let her in to his place. They talk through the keyhole.

  12. Here is my latest request for the Ministry of Health to provide details of where I can get an antibody test, sent via their contact us email address “COVID-19 queries”
Hi. I’m trying to find out where I can get a covid antibody test. I need to know if I have existing covid antibodies as they are many factors of strength better than your MnRNA “vaccine”. Science is showing natural immunity is destroyed by the “vaccine” and that the “vaccine” wears off quickly, leaving so many dangerous side effects. So I want to be responsible and know my natural ability to catch and spread the virus, because as we know “vaccinated” people catch and spread the virus whereas the naturally immune don’t. Regards …..
I don’t expect an answer, but do you think this puts me on a government list somewhere?
    And if so, which list?

      • Under that much stress and emaciated, she would be a sitter for a bad reaction to the clot shot. But I believe that she had a saline injection, not the vaccine.

Unless of course she pissed off someone higher up in the food chain, or actually believes her own bullshit, and was actually given real shots, and her immune system is buckling.

Nothing in this current tightly controlled political scene happens without a nod. Was Gladys Berejiklian pushed by the investigation into corruption being allowed to surface? Is it Jacinda’s turn next?

One rule of modern day communists is that they don’t kill off business, otherwise there will be no money and production for the communists to steal. Otherwise it becomes like the fable of the frog and the scorpion.

        https://gretchenrubin.com/podcast-episode/little-happier-the-scorpion-and-the-frog

I believe that Gladys Berejiklian overstepped the mark, not just in our eyes, but in the eyes of those that need business to survive to feed the communism. She had to go.

I believe that Jacinda’s ego has got out of control and she thinks she is God, and has pushed way over ‘the hidden line’. I think her days are numbered, either because she has overstepped that hidden line, or the powder keg of resistance her actions have created will go off.

And if history is anything to go by, I suspect that the catalyst will come from a source she least expects. I suspect that there will be people within her own extended support network that find it difficult to stomach what she is doing.

  15. I know that this government does not care whatsoever about sport in general unless it is a cock in a frock or a photo op but they are destroying our National game. We now have a National Rugby Championship being played without spectators except for a few family members and even worse without teams from Auckland, North Harbour and Counties. Early on these teams asked for permission to relocate to Taupo so they could continue (as all Australian sports teams have done so successfully for the last two years – more Queensland, not Taupo) but were refused.
This now means that in this age of professional sport and a pathway to a decent living for many in that area that those players are being denied any chance of displaying and improving their skills and possible selection in Super Rugby teams.
With more and more kids dropping out of sport I can only imagine the harm that is being done at all levels in all sports in the Auckland lockdown area.

  20. Interesting article on the suspected earlier outbreak of Covid19 in May 2019, 6 months earlier than China admits. A doubling of PCR testing compared to the previous year. It may be just coincidence but I had a flu like I have never had in mid August 2019. Was on Prednisone, inhaler etc. Had to sleep sitting up due to the cough. Doctor said he was inundated with the same thing. As I say it could just be coincidence or was it already in NZ mid 2019 and we didn’t even know it?

  21. From ROL’s earlier post- “Auckland Mayor Phil Goff says there “has to be a price” for people who choose not to get vaccinated.”
Is there anyone on here that isn’t already paying a price for their vax stance in some way?
Just received an email this morning from a brainwashed son (who is a health worker) that we represent too great a risk to his kids and patients to be able to see them. I am not looking for sympathy but just to say that the level of damage already done to relationships by this abhorrent regime is beyond criminal. I wonder what ever happened to “be kind”?

    16

  22. There is a missing aspect to the vax debate. DL, the medics and the media are all pushing the notion that there are only 2 types of people – those who want to be vaxed, and those who dont. And those who dont are the enemies of society. This stance is horribly unfair to those who for genuine medical reasons cannot be vaccinated. Like my wife who, becasue she has had Guillain-Barré syndrome, could die from the effects of the COVID vax. She is prohibited from having any form of vax, whether tetanus, flu, etc. And she is not alone. We have heard of many, many GB sufferers who are in a similar position.
It is time our leaders recognised that there are three categories of citizen:
    1) those who are happy to be vaxed
    2) those who do not want to be vaxed
    3) those who cannot under any circumstances be vaxed.

At the moment the third category is going to be lumped with the second and subjected to personal vilification and loss of freedoms. Where is the fairness in that?

    11

    0

    • Very valid point Tony.
My wife has also had GBS ( 4 years ago) and she and I are not getting the jab. I showed her your comment and she would be interested in knowing who gave your wife the advice, because the GBS supporters group she gets information from said it was OK and members should get the jab (that was from the medical advisor for the group). Both of us thought it was crazy advice.

      8

      0

    • I hear what you are saying but in my view there is zero reason to treat those who chose not to vax any different from anyone else.
This is not about the vax per se but the underlying control agenda. Can’t make a social credit system work without the vax passports
so everyone needs to be vaxed.

      12

      0

      • Spot on curious, we didnt have this panic and vax passports for the measles drama prior to covid, we werent terrified of those that hadnt had flu jabs, meningitis jab hell why not teen sluts have vax passports for hpv, No jab no fuck?

Every passing day and the escalation of control not just in nz but worldwide reinforces my view that this is nothing at all to do with public health and everything to do with the most widespread power grab in human history.

Sadly this is just the beginning and its going to get much much worse esp for us dissidents, i only hope the fuck up and push populations to snap and revolt before its passed the point of no return.

        11

        0

    • Same for me Tony. I almost karked it from blod clots on the lungs. I asked the cardiologist when it might be safe for me to get vaccinated. He said I was NOT to get vaxxed until I regained full health. That may take weeks or months, but he did expect me to regain full health. He has me on new blood thinners and wants to run full tests in 6 months.

      11

      0

      • The ugly donkey was asked what about those who can not be vaxxed for medical reasons. She reluctantly agreed that they need to be allowed for. Maybe we get a pass but we will have to wear an armband so others know to keep away from us.
If they were loading the disabled into the gas chambers, she would be there pulling them out of their wheelchairs.

        8

        0

        • Hog@1453

You mentioned ‘Blood thinners’ an item that I am very-well acquainted with and about-which there is conflicting advice as to their response to the ‘Jab.

A large amount of documents recommend that those who are on such thinners (in my case, of two sorts) do NOT get the jab, yet the NZ ‘Covid Advisory Pages say that it it ‘perfectly safe’ to be jabbed while on ‘Thinners while my own GP has indicated (As noted on this site several weeks ago) that he is determined to ‘persuade’ me that the jab is harmless.

Understandably I am erring on the side of caution and having already had enough problems with blood clots (Long story involving open-heart surgery) am very disinclined to take on board something which completely overrides and neutralises all my carefully-created and built-up ‘safeguards’ ; those put in place to enable me to live out my days.

As changing my GP is currently not an option, It will be interesting to see how this plays out…

          Thank you.

          7

          0

          • Komata, I don’t think his recommendation is based on any specific interference with the drug, rather that I be back to “normal” health so that my system can cope with any possible change caused by the jab. I am not sure all the clots are gone yet. I am measuring my blood O2 saturation and I can recover better after exercise as time goes by. I have noticed a reduced level of pain over the last few days and I have almost stopped the painkillers. I may not need the thinners after 6 months.

            6

            0

            • Medical advice, from the medical fraternity for the clot shot seems to be very cavalier. Individual health concerns do not seem a concern with advice to go ahead as it is “perfectly safe”.

I see John Tamahere is wanting Maori health contacts provided to him so they can take the grim reaper wagons to my people for their clot shots.

  23. What does it mean to say that you live in a free country?
    What is free?
This whole COVID-19 response is really making people think about the true nature of NZ society.

Do you have rights? What do you understand “rights” to mean? (If the State can take away your rights, then maybe they were never “rights” but instead “privileges”?)

    12

    0

    • No O’sen they were rights bought and paid for by the blood and sacrifices of previous generations. Just because they have been illegally usurped by this totalitarian bitch does not mean they were or are not rights.

      8

      • In this I favour Odakyu-sen’s argument. What we consider rights are privileges. They can’t be rights because they’re disappearing like a misbehaving child’s TV watching time.

The only natural “right” we have is to protect ourselves from someone or something that wants to kill us & we’re not doing too good on that front either.

        11

        0

        • We will have to agree to disagree on this one Nasska just because the vast majority of brainwashed sheeple are prepared to surrender those rights for the illusion of safety doesn’t mean that they were not rights in the first place.

          10

          0

      • Where do we get our rights from?
We don’t have a Constitution in this country.
Will the State guarantee our freedoms? (Only when it suits them.)
Will the courts uphold our rights? (Maybe, if our legal system is uncorrupted.)
Will the armed forces and police protect our rights? (Why would they? They answer to the State.)

It is appalling to see in such clarity the sheep-like behavior of society and the way that many so-called leaders point at scapegoats, as if to direct society’s anger against them.

          • Rights, the rule of common law and legal certainty are all like the casing of a watch. They provide a solid foundation to anchor the gears, cogs, springs, pinions and rachets that spin, intermesh, and go about their business to turn the hands what show the time.

Remove the watch casing and all the springs and cogs spill out as a quivering uncoupled mess.

That is why it is so important to have a strong, resilient, trustworthy casing to hold and anchor the components of society so that they can properly interact and function. The job of the police force, and social and legal conventions is to be that watch casing.

  25. Does Qantas get added to the YSB blacklist?

“Australians boarding Qantas flights to overseas destinations like the US and the UK will undergo a minimum of four Covid tests and be required to carry digital proof of vaccination.

Speaking in Boston where airline chiefs have gathered for the International Air Transport Association annual general meeting, Qantas boss Alan Joyce provided more details of how overseas travel will look when flights resume next month.

Mr Joyce said they were continuing to work with IATA on the technology for a digital travel pass, to make the experience as automated as possible.

Passengers would be required to undergo a Covid test before departure in Australia, and again before their return flight, as well as two more tests during the seven-days of home quarantine. “

It was arrogant for New Zealanders to prematurely celebrate “zero COVID” after their first round of harsh lockdowns. • Prior to the French Revolution society was divided into “estates”.

      #1 Was the nobility

#2 Was the clergy (particularly the RC church)

      #3 Was the common people.

      *

The system was developed because the King was running out of money & one of the principles was that a majority was needed for a ruling. This lead to the nobility & the clergy running things while the common people, denied a say, settled for revolution.

A not dissimilar situation exists now. A majority government in a unicameral parliament are nobility. Religion has let conservatism & corruption lead it to downfall. It was displaced by the cult of conservation/climate alarmism & latterly by pseudo-medicine as seen in the Covid panic.

The people are once again on their own.

*The press became known as the fourth estate because of the power it wielded.

Experience unfortunately shows that although ‘insecticide’ can wipe out a large majority of a Locust swarm, this will not stop it dead in it’s tracks / flight and that only a loss of food will eventually force it into extinction.

Sadly, in New Zealand politics, the (metaphorycal) insecticide has not yet made it’s appearance and is unlikely to do so for some time…

  32. Top Figure Behind United States’ Covid Vaccine Push is Unexpectedly Stepping Down

National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins plans to announce his resignation on Tuesday after nearly three decades at the agency, including 12 years at the helm, three sources tell POLITICO.

The 71-year-old physician-geneticist led the agency under three consecutive presidents — making him the first presidentially appointed NIH director to serve in more than one administration and the longest-serving NIH director.

During the coronavirus pandemic, Collins has been on the front lines urging Americans to wear masks and get vaccinated. While Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious disease expert and President Joe Biden’s chief medical adviser, became the most visible advocate for the administration’s vaccination efforts, the Biden administration has increasingly put Collins on network shows to urge vaccinations and defend the booster strategy.

  33. FYI.
Quotes from BioNTech’s SEC Filing To Investors (Feb 2020)

“Our investors currently include… the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.”

“On August 30, 2019, we entered into a letter agreement and an investment agreement with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, or BMGF, pursuant to which BMGF acquired 3,038,674 of our ordinary shares for $55 million at the price of our Series B financing.”

First case of COVID-19 dates back to November 17, 2019 according to South China Morning Post and there are reports of a potential outbreak during the October 18-27, 2019 Military Games in Wuhan, China.

To summarize, Gates invested $55 million in BioNTech 1.5 – 2.5 months before the first COVID-19 cases.

October 1, 2021: BioNTech (BNTX) $254.79 per share
    3,038,674 shares x $254.79 = $774,223,748.46
    $774,223,748.46 – $55,000,000 = $719,223,748.46

Since August 30, 2019, Gates made $719 million in profit on his $55 million BioNTech investment.

“We are a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company with no pharmaceutical products approved for commercial sale.”

“No mRNA immunotherapy has been approved, and none may ever be approved, in this new potential category of therapeutics. mRNA drug development has substantial clinical development and regulatory risks due to the novel and unprecedented nature of this new category of therapeutics.”

“To our knowledge, there is no current precedent for an mRNA-based immunotherapy such as the type we are developing being approved for sale by the FDA, European Commission or any other regulatory agency elsewhere in the world.”

  35. Rights ultimately stem from force.
In a civil society, your rights are upheld by the law (backed by the power of the police).

If the law won’t help you and the police won’t lift a finger, then you are on your own. Where are your rights now?

    9

    0

    • OS id call that freedom, no law no police so i assume no governance either?

If the law and the police arent there to protect you then theyre also not there to punish you either. Rights are yours for the taking they only disapear if we allow them to be taken from us.

      7

      0

      • There has never been a nation without laws. Laws are pointless unless they can be enforced & often this was left to the army & its agents. Alternatively there were sheriffs backed with posses & private police forces which looked after the interests of those who they were funded by much in the manner of early fire brigades which fought fires on behalf of the insurance companies who employed them.

Eventually we ended up with state funded police who serve only the state.

        There’s a pattern here.

    • Probably has as much relevance to medicine or virology as the wheel spacing on standard gauge (1435mm) railways throughout the world has to engineering. Apparently when it came to building railway wagons the only qualified builders were smiths who also built axles for the drays & carts in use on the roads in England. The standard was based on the ruts worn into the roads that had been built by the Romans when they occupied Britain nearly 1600 years prior.

The ruts were 1435mm apart because the Romans used the roads for two horse chariots & the wheels were outside the shafts.

Ergo the distance between the rails in systems still in use worldwide can be traced back to the space taken up by the arses of two horses.

There are 138 border workers employed by private firms who have missed the deadline to be vaccinated.
    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/vaccination-deadline-missed-138-border-workers?auto=0

Frontline border workers at airports, ports and MIQ had until 1 October to get their first Pfizer dose. Government employees were required to have their first dose by late August.

Of the 138 border workers who have not had their first vaccination, 21 were working in airports, 24 were working in managed isolation and quarantine, and 82 were working at ports.

The ministry said since the requirements came into effect on 1 October, no unvaccinated workers have been identified on the border workforce testing register as currently attending border worksites.

Employers who do not comply with the rules could face a fine of up to $4000 or a prison sentence of up to six months.

    • There’s this too from Counterspin media.

WORK NEEDS TO STOP AT PORT OF TAURANGA AND AIR NZ

The health and safety of NZ workers is being seriously compromised.

PINs (Provisional Improvement Notices) have gone to the Port of Tauranga and Air NZ.

This morning, Mike Edmunds, qualified in accordance with Health and Safety at Work (Worker Engagement, Participation, and Representation) Regulations 2016, HSR (Health & Safety Representative) recognized by Air NZ issued the PIN with serious concerns.

On Wednesday, Kelven Martin, an employee of Port of Tauranga, an accredited HSR, issued the PIN as he had immediate concerns about risk to life within the area he works in.

HSRs are an integral part off safety management as they represent their fellow workers, receive training and are accredited to act when life is at risk or there is potential for harm.

Halting is required of all work associated with:

      – Arrival and departure of any and all vessels their berthing or slipping and line handling and
the area within which such work is undertaken.

      – Any and all operations and work carried out by linesmen associated with the Pilot Vessel
including the ARATAKI and TE AWANUI and any vessels used for that purpose or any other
      work such as surveying.

      – Any and all other work as maybe assigned to the Linesmen/Mooring Team.

Acting CEO, Leonard Sampson, has refused & failed to carry out a comprehensive risk assessment of the Covid-19 virus & the Pfizer Bio N Tech mRNA Covid-19 vaccine. The day after getting the notice he conveniently went on leave.

At Air NZ the PIN requires all work to cease immediately performed by Engineers, working on Light and Line Maintenance and Base Maintenance within the following areas:

      – No 1 and No 3 Hangars for Light engineering

      – Aircraft gates on the airside of Christchurch Airport and the area of airside of Christchurch Airport where Line Engineering is undertaken.

      – No 1 and No 5 Hangars where Base Maintenance is undertaken.

At Air NZ the Chief Medical Officer Dr Ben Johnson has failed to provide sufficient data to substantiate the claim that the vaccine is safe and effective and that the risk of adverse reactions rare and less to worry about when balanced with the effectiveness of the vaccine in preventing infection, reducing consequences of that infection, and limiting transmission.

Both issuers have critical questions around the safety and efficacy of the Pfizer BioNTech mRNA COVID 19 jab, along with the yet to be manufactured Comirnaty mRNA jab, used as a bait-and-switch approval mechanism for the current Pfizer jab. There is STILL NO officially FDA approved mRNA jab.

All of NZ needs to know about this!

  37. Confused? You soon will be.

Today in a Level 3 Q&A article in the paper, designed to answer all your questions, there was this:

“Q: If you are visiting a friend at their house (sitting outside as per the rules) are you allowed to use their bathroom if nature calls?

A: Bloomfield said you can use the bathroom as long as it doesn’t create any indoor gathering. He added that he assumed people weren’t all going to the toilet at the same time. Ardern added: “If you haven’t got a good bladder, don’t stay for long.”

Grant Robertson this morning on the radio told Ryan Bridge that it was OK to use the their toilet, as long as you didn’t all go at once (haha giggle giggle).

Tonight on the news they said you are NOT allowed to go into anyone else’s house to use the toilet.

And we wonder why they can’t manage the life and death stuff.

There are 24 new cases of Covid-19 in the community, including three that were announced on Monday.

Seven of the cases are unlinked. All the unlinked cases are in Auckland.

People will be able to access their passport using their phone. They can also print it out.

Ardern said it will be necessary to enter large events like festivals.

Cabinet is still consulting on whether it’ll be required to enter hospitality venues.

    • Ardern confirmed there will be exemptions for people who can’t be vaccinated under limited circumstances.

That right already exists. We don’t need an exemption. And the health service recognise that right:

Why is an informed choice important?

Being informed about the benefits and risks of immunisation will mean you fully understand what advantages immunisation provides your family, as well as understanding the risks associated with any given vaccine or disease. The right to make an informed choice and give your informed consent when using a health service is guaranteed under the Code of Health and Disability Services Consumer Rights.

How do I make an informed choice?

The health professional who will be offering immunisation for your child or you is obliged to provide you with accurate, objective, relevant and understandable information to help make an informed choice. They need to explain:

      – that you have a choice
      – why you are being offered the vaccine
      – what is involved in what you are being offered
      – the probable benefits, risks, side effects, failure rates and alternatives,
      – and the risks and benefits of not receiving the treatment or procedure.

      https://www.immune.org.nz/immunisation/making-informed-decision

I am my own exemption because it is my right as a human being to decide what goes into my body.

  41. Surging energy prices remain on the radar. OPEC+ hasn’t responded to the recent surge in oil prices and agreed to maintain its prior slow-paced lift in monthly production back to pre-pandemic levels, which will see only a 400,000 per barrel day lift in November. Oil prices rose by about 3%, with Brent crude hitting a three-year high of USD82 and WTI over USD78, a seven-year high. Demand for oil has recently increased, alongside the surge in global natural gas prices which we have reported about over the past couple of weeks, which is hitting Europe hard at the moment, but OPEC+ showed no willingness to lift oil production to meet demand.

The surge in energy prices is now being widely reported as a global energy crisis, that captures rising oil, natural gas and coal prices. On the latter, coal prices have soared to a record high, with thermal coal loaded on ships at Newcastle in Australia, the benchmark price for Asia, up to USD240 per metric ton, up 40% over the past month and 200% for the year to date. Shortages of coal and rising coal prices are resulting in cuts to electricity production around the world, with recent reports of power cuts across China, India and Europe, and this dynamic represents a key threat to the global growth outlook.

The other aspect of the global energy crisis is that the so-called “transitory” surge in inflation will prove to be more enduring than previously expected, testing the mettle of global central banks, including the Fed, to keep policy so stimulatory.

    ======================
Oh so energy is procong up then?
coal in short supply. Germany short f coal and short of electricity. Wait the winter gets going.
Couldn’t happen to a bigger bunch of bastards.

    China short of electricity.

The list goes on meanwhile up in the Great lakes production is ramping up for the customers down steam.
