  1. Just reported, apparently 3 of the northland gang members wives tracked down the prostitute that their husbands had been banging for days and gave her a stern talking to.
She was found with 17 stab wounds ,broken arms and legs, throat slit, 6 bullet holes and she’d been hung by her neck.
The emaciated stick insect and her medical expert Bloomfield have announced that it’s the worst case of a Covid death seen in NZ since the outbreak began.

  2. What if a wedding venue was sorted and the function owner/caterer later reluctantly agreed to the bride’s celebrity chef friend doing the hors d’oeuvre for the reception?
And what if the groom intended to provide the meat for the wedding breakfast by supplying his own bush killed venison, and what if the function owner/caterer had to advise that this would be against the law of the land and was not going to happen?
And what if the celebrity chef friend wanted to muscle in and take over the entire wedding catering and the venue owner/caterer told the couple to take a hike, and what if the vo/caterer says you are not getting your deposit back?

  3. Something to ponder:

    EXEMPT
All of US Congress plus all Congressional staff, House and the Senate.
    That’s a lot of people.

    6,000 White House employees.

2,500 Pfizer, 1,500 Moderna, and 120,000 Johnson and Johnson employees.

15,000 CDC and 14,000 FDA employees.

8 million Chinese students in this country [USA].
How many of them are PLA, CCP? 85 to 90% I can tell you that.

2 million illegal aliens exempted. They don’t have to get the shot.

“The rest of us, must get injected or lose our job”

  4. A correspondent has sent me this from behind the Telegraph paywall, you might find it interesting:

Jacinda Ardern has come crashing back to Earth

With little acquired immunity and low vaccination rates, New Zealand
finds itself vulnerable to an explosive epidemic
    Ross Clark
    5 October 2021
New Zealand was to Covid what Kabul Airport was to the Taliban: the
last bastion of hopeless resistance. Yesterday, it finally fell. Prime
Minister Jacinda Ardern announced that the country would ‘transition’
from an elimination strategy to one of vaccination – a journey which
most of the rest of the world embarked on nearly a year ago. It means
that residents of Auckland will be able to leave their homes to
socialise – in a very limited way — for the first time in weeks. So
much for the boast, so often made last year, that zero Covid had given
New Zealanders the sort of freedoms which our lax covid policy had
    stolen from us.

As Covid fires its guns in the air and Ardern scrambles on board the
last transport plane out, it has to be asked: why did she, or indeed
anyone, ever think it would be any different? It was clear from the
beginning that Covid, by virtue of being able to transmit
asymptomatically, had the ability to sneak into a population unaware –
and establish itself before anyone had really noticed. New Zealand now
is pretty well in the same position as Britain was in March 2020, with
pockets of cases erupting into what threatens to become one large
outbreak. What New Zealand has done for the past 18 months – attempt to
become a Covid-free island by sealing its borders – never was an option
in Britain’s case, just as continuing with a zero Covid policy is no
longer a choice for New Zealand.

Was New Zealand’s experiment worth it? If the country can get its
vaccination rate up quickly it might very well be possible to argue
that yes, it was – although the economic damage will still be massive.
Unfortunately, however, Ardern’s government has not used its extra time
to get ahead with vaccinations. According to the CNN tracker, only 41.5
percent of the country’s population is fully-vaccinated, against 65.9
percent of the UK population. That puts it among the very lowest of
developed countries. Moreover, because Covid has been largely absent
from the disease to date, very few people have acquired immunity
through natural infection. The country is vulnerable, therefore, to the
kind of explosive epidemic that Britain saw early on in the crisis.

Ardern’s hubris was fuelled by her international status as a rockstar
of the centre-left. I discovered the extent of this a year ago when I
wrote a piece that was critical of her zero Covid policy – pointing out
that in the initial fight against the disease she had done very little
different from Boris Johnson’s government, and that as Covid became
endemic elsewhere in the world New Zealand faced long years of
self-imposed economic downturn as it sealed itself off.

I have never had such a strong reaction to anything I have written,
with tirades of abuse flowing in from all over the world. To many on
the soft-left, Arden represented all that they advocated in a
government: compassion, competence and vision. She was the living
example of why we should have more women in charge of politics,
business and everything else (this from the same people, naturally, who
lost no chance to launch personal attacks on Britain’s two female Prime
    Ministers).

If Ardern is a rock star, I’m afraid she has reached second album
syndrome. What looked so clever to many people a year ago no longer
looks quite so smart. The world can finally see that zero Covid was a
dead end which delayed but did not eliminate Covid, while drawing out
the economic damage from repeated lockdowns as far as the eye can see.
There was no easy policy for dealing with Covid, and Britain can hardly
claim to have set an example – something which I am sure Boris Johnson
and every other government minister would freely admit.

Yet Jacinda Ardern did think she was teaching the rest of the world how
to cope with a pandemic. She has been brought down to Earth with a very
    loud bump.

  5. A young priest is on his way to his new parish for the first time.

As he approaches the town he sees a man in a field shagging a sheep. A few miles down the road he saw another man out in the fields frenziedly bonking a sheep. Appalled at having witnessed a second case of bestiality in less than an hour, he whispered several prayers, crosses himself fervently, and drove on. Finally, on the outskirts of town, he caught sight of a man leaning against a tree and masturbating enthusiastically.

The young priest, then and there decided grimly on the topic of his first sermon. “As I approached this fair town,” he began that Sunday, “I witnessed three abominations. First, on the roadside a man committing an unnatural act with a sheep. Shortly thereafter was another man in a field committing the same unnatural act with another sheep! And third, at the very outskirts of this town, a man was committing an unnatural act with himself!”

A voice spoke up from somewhere in the congregation, “Aye, that’ll be old Paddy Fitzpatrick. He never could catch a sheep!

  7. A good article on NZ DRs website “The rise of totalitarianism”.

    https://nzdsos.com/2021/10/08/the-rise-of-totalitarianism/

Also Florida looks like a good place to live. The new surgeon general said “‘Florida will completely reject fear,’ new surgeon general Dr. Joseph Ladapo says”. The article is also a good read, briming with common sense.

Sadly we are stuck with the WHO plant Bloomfield (he worked at WHO). Bones can’t be arsed reading jack shit so it is the unelected Bloomfield running New Zealand. No doubt he is the one pushing the draconian expanded health law powers currently being pushed through parliament.

Pitty I left the move to Florida too late.

    • “If the data are consistent with [antibody dependent enhancement], we have to stop the vaccine campaign,” Malone stressed. “We have to pivot to expediting as much as possible drug treatments, which have been largely blocked and suppressed at the FDA level, particularly for repurposed drugs.”

Trust Cindy to choose the worst for ADE. Reports of ADE were circulating before the rollout of Fizzer was begun in the Peoples Republic of the South Pacific. Then they suppressed information of the cheap and proven medication and blocked use. Crimes against humanity are being perpetrated against New Zealanders.

I would not trust her as far as a one armed dwarf could throw her.

She may think it’s clever and smart to glibly dodge the questions but basically it’s just being smart arsed.

  10. Streisand Effect… Slaters BFD will have had more traffic generated

Coronavirus: Kiwis amused by Ministry of Health’s ‘majestic roast’ of blogger Cameron Slater
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2021/10/coronavirus-kiwis-amused-by-ministry-of-health-s-majestic-roast-of-blogger-cameron-slater.html

A text message from Director-General of Health Ashley Bloomfield to a prominent scientist has revealed he doesn’t think blogger Cameron Slater “has much cred these days”.

The texts between Dr Bloomfield and the University of Aucklandmicrobiologist Siouxsie Wiles, named New Zealander of the Year in March, were released to Slater under the Official Information Act (OIA).

In a note with the text messages, Ministry of Health Deputy Director-General Sarah Turner told Slater there was a “reference to you in one of the text messages. To clarify Dr Bloomfield’s intent: this was to reassure Dr Siouxsie Wiles that your new blog The BFD has less reach than your former blog Whale Oil.”

Confidence is dented and people are feeling much more negative about our economic future, according to the latest 1News Colmar Brunton poll.
    https://www.1news.co.nz/2021/10/09/confidence-in-nzs-economic-future-dropping-poll-finds/

1News put those numbers to the Finance Minister.

“I think people can see the success we’ve had with the approach we’ve taken. A strong public health approach has delivered strong economic outcomes,” Grant Robertson said.

“We’ve got low unemployment, very strong economic growth, our debt has stayed at a manageable level.”

Andrew Radcliffe runs an IT company in Auckland. He said attracting Kiwi talent, having staff working at home, and the uncertainty of when the borders will open were making it tough.

“The biggest problem for us we’re seeing is a lot of our customers have stopped paying their bills and probably because they just don’t have any certainty about what will happen next.”

    • ……”The positive case is double jabbed was wearing a mask and using the fancy tracer app”……

There must be some mistake. We’ve been bombarded by puerile, emotive propaganda for months now telling us we must vaccinate to save our families & children, our neighbours & everything we hold dear. We must sacrifice our hearts & ovaries to the Pfiser poison for the greater good. We must test, wear useless masks that viruses could walk through twenty abreast & point our phones at hieroglyphics as atonement to the State.

It must be true. Cindy told us!

And now we find she’s been talking shit. What will her believers do? Oh the humanity. //

    • It would seem that Covid virus is really tricky, fooling well trained experts like Ardern, Bloomfield, & Chippy; Sioux Wylie, Shaun Hendy etc.

… The test was taken yesterday in Auckland.
      .
The test result has a high CT value usually seen in the early or late stage of infection ….
      .
….The infected person has been granted an exemption to cross the boundary ….
      .
…… regular surveillance testing – at least five tests have been taken since the beginning of September, the most recent prior test was 5 October.
All five of those tests were negative.
      .
…. fully vaccinated and has reported no symptoms, aside from seasonal hay-fever.

      .
The vaccinated can catch and transmit, which must be guarded against as they can dangerously keep this epidemic going with other unvaxxed and even worse, infect other vaxxed or catch it from a vaxxed!
It would seem that all vaxxed people should stay inside, and remain in full lock down as an abundance cautions, and that is the safest way to be being safe !

The double jabbed will know, at least for the moment that being vaxxed, they should not suffer too much from Covid.
Further instructions from the government now is for them to obey as they the duty of care, of staying away from all others to protect them, from the tricks of Covid.
The vaxxed will know the ‘kindly’ government is looking to book in booster shots to take care of any further problems in timely manner, eventually.

      • It is certainly time for the virus to run its course. It is going to whether DL and her cohorts likes it or not. There has been no flue as per normal for the last couple of years, the children caught that bug RVS or RSV sorry I can’t remember, which they didn’t the year before, all the DL and sycophants are doing is putting off the day I was going to say the evil day but as it is the norm, what are they trying to prove. Now she didn’t receive the Nobel prize maybe she might slacken off a bit/////

A silly little email wont do jack shit, it will get put on a hard drive, sealed in a box and left to gather dust for the next hundred years. If you think anyone that cares will read it i have a bridge to sell you.

Technology is our/democracies downfall, we no longer need to march the length of the country or gather in unison on the steps of parliament instead a tweet, facebook rant, email or electronic signature is the most effort we make. Its no wonder these cunts continually shit all over us theyre not scared anymore they know no one will put in a real effort and dedication to stop them.

    https://media.gab.com/system/media_attachments/files/087/225/615/original/96943c2c030f418f.png

    From linked article:
Increases in COVID-19 are unrelated to levels of vaccination across 68 countries and 2947 counties in the United States

    Findings
At the country-level, there appears to be no discernable relationship between percentage of population fully vaccinated and new COVID-19 cases in the last 7 days (Fig. 1). In fact, the trend line suggests a marginally positive association such that countries with higher percentage of population fully vaccinated have higher COVID-19 cases per 1 million people. Notably, Israel with over 60% of their population fully vaccinated had the highest COVID-19 cases per 1 million people in the last 7 days. The lack of a meaningful association between percentage population fully vaccinated and new COVID-19 cases is further exemplified, for instance, by comparison of Iceland and Portugal. Both countries have over 75% of their population fully vaccinated and have more COVID-19 cases per 1 million people than countries such as Vietnam and South Africa that have around 10% of their population fully vaccinated.

    • All the dancing words on a pin, to distract.
But in the mean time, they take the “forbidden” Ivermection or HCQ.

…. the executive branch cannot regulate the legislative branch. It’s something we learned in government class. They’re two separate branches, with two separate sets of power.
So, President Biden cannot, because of that separation of power, tell Congress what they can do or what they’re required to do regarding vaccines,” Roe said.

Congress is exempt from the vaccine mandate, but it was not Biden’s call.
Legally, the president does not have the power to make Congress get the vaccine.

So, we can Verify the claim that President Biden exempted Congress from his vaccine mandate is false.
      https://www.khou.com/article/news/verify/did-president-biden-exempt-congress-from-the-vaccination-mandate/285-490862e0-1b11-4473-ac46-328765234dc5

In the mean time Congress does not need to be vaccinated, and go along with making it mandatory for every one else, while they do not.

Then gaining function over Ivermectin for their own benefit, as a first and early treatment, while hypocritically not supporting Ivermectin, but go along with its denigration, to even stop other people having it freely available.

Not only should this be exposed in the USA, but when it is, it should be talked about here in New Zealand, via the blogs, talk back radio, media, …. but I know it is very much suppressed, nay censored, to keep the government of jabbering karens in control & power.

Same as the success in parts of India, Indonesia, Salvador, and what other countries health departments talk about Ivermectin, but again, it is suppressed, censored in New Zealand.

Denigrate the unvaxxed, and the New Zealand government will not allow the choice of HCQ or Ivermectin combo’s, even as protocols by Zelenko, or McCullough and as seen above as the I-MASK+protocol.

  17. There are 60 new Covid-19 cases in the community on Sunday – 56 in Auckland, three in Waikato and one in the Bay of Plenty – the Ministry of Health has confirmed.
    https://www.1news.co.nz/2021/10/09/60-new-covid-19-community-cases-in-delta-outbreak/

There are currently 29 cases in hospitals; 12 in Auckland’s Middlemore Hospital, 11 in Auckland Hospital along with four in North Shore Hospital.

The is one case in Waikato Hospital and one case in Palmerston North Hospital.

Seven of the cases in hospital are in ICU or HDU.

They can be perfectly well but still be a case. I noticed it took 2 or 3 negative PCR tests of the Tauranga “case’ before they managed to get one positive to declare the person plague ridden. The only information was that it was a High CT which means it is just amplified noise with random results.

It is quite incredible that a test that was never designed to be used for clinical diagnosis is being used to scare the shit out of the sheep

Medicine has been striped from doctors and weaponised by bureaucrats and politicians.

To paraphrase Justice Peter Mahon, the taxpayer has bought an orchestrated litany of lies via an unprecedented political campaign that is being used to enslave them, strip away their freedoms & kill them with an unproven vaccine.

Despite the spike to 60 cases reported on Sunday and ongoing questions over two women who forced Northland into level 3 lockdown, the Government hasn’t fronted over the weekend, instead relying on the Ministry of Health to send out press releases.

“New Zealanders will be unsettled by the news – delivered via written statement – that we have 60 new community cases today and yet our Prime Minister did not even get one of her senior ministers to stand in for her at the podium,” Collins says in a statement on Sunday.

“The Prime Minister needs to do more than cock her head to the side and sigh. Somebody has done something seriously wrong and 120,000 Northlanders are paying dearly for it. They deserve accountability,” leader David Seymour says in a statement.

  21. That was a waste of time!

Rissole went to the protest. Mrs Rissole came along too!!!

    There was no protest.

Fanny is presently drinking G & T’s to recover.

I’m off to the shed 🙂

  22. The Protest That Wasn’t

I gave a friend a lift to the Domain – got there half an hour early hoping to find parking. No sign of any rabble rousers but not much parking – lots of people out enjoying a fine spring day.

We wandered around for a while, hoping to spot fellow dissidents, but no sign of them. As we were one the verge of giving up and going back to the car, a gentleman enquired about the Brigadier. We made the YSB connection – Dave is a regular reader but has yet to take the plunge into the murky, forbidding waters of Have Your Say.

He is a teacher faced with the vaccine mandate. Hopefully he will join HYS and tell his own story better than I could.

The three of us had an interesting discussion about the growth of the covidian tyranny . We failed to reach a conclusion about whether there is any hope.

I saw no sign of the Brigadier.

  23. ERICA STANFORD (National—East Coast Bays): Thank you, Madam Speaker. All New Zealanders played their part in flattening the COVID curve. We all stayed home. We took care of our neighbours: we shopped for them, we picked up groceries, we delivered prescriptions. We cared for our community, and it was hard, but this hard action was required, and, credit where credit’s due, it was well led by our Prime Minister. But that hard action was necessary because we didn’t go early. Despite the Prime Minister telling us at every possible opportunity, trying to rewrite history, that we went hard and early, the fact is that our borders remained far too porous for far too long, and anyone coming back in or seeing those tourists wandering around knows that very well.
We went hard despite some of the terrible consequences that we knew would happen: the massive loss of civil liberties, tens of thousands of jobs lost, businesses collapsing, livelihoods lost, our elective surgeries cancelled, cancer diagnoses not happening, people dying alone, horrific sexual and domestic abuse, suicides, and the inability to say goodbye to our loved ones. But thanks to our efforts, we’re almost at level 2. We did what was asked of us despite some of those horrible consequences. We trusted our Prime Minister, and, credit where credit’s due, as I said, she led us deftly through those times, but surely, as an acknowledgment of our combined effort, that she continually thanks us for day after day, she would now treat us with some respect and give us some of the same trust that we instilled in her to keep this virus at bay at level 2?
But this bill suggests this is not the case—quite the opposite, in fact. This is, quite frankly, a “Thanks very much, but we don’t trust you one iota” bill. They’ve introduced a piece of quite Draconian legislation that curtails our freedoms at the whim of the Prime Minister and descends us into what has been described as a police State, all rushed through under urgency, without the public scrutiny that is usually afforded to bills like this. The Government are basking in the glow of what they believe is public adoration. They’re acting in the mistaken belief that their powers are limitless, that they can do what they like without question, and in that belief they have made a misstep. This bill is a giant leap too far. This is a bill that allows our Prime Minister—not the Director-General of Health, that we are so used to making decisions, but the Prime Minister waking up one day and deciding what we can and can’t do, where we can and can’t go, which roads we can and can’t travel on, and so on.
But the real kicker is in the enforcement powers. Clause 20(3) allows a police officer to enter a private dwelling without a warrant if they have reasonable grounds to believe that people have gathered in contravention of the Prime Minister’s order. I’ll say that again: without a warrant. We’ve had fear instilled in us, and that has done something unusual. Don’t get me wrong; we’ve done all that kind stuff I talked about earlier, but there’s been a fair amount of behaviour of a different kind. Barry Soper pointed out that we’ve turned into a nation of “grumpy narks”, sounding off at each other on Facebook, dobbing in our neighbours on the hotline, and I’m not surprised, because fear does that to people. So, when the police get a call from your terrified neighbour, believing that thousands of people will die and that everyone’s to be treated as if they have the virus, telling them that you’ve got a gathering of potentially too many people, the police can enter your private dwelling and shut down your kid’s birthday party because there may be 11 kids there.
But let’s delve into that just a little bit further. We all know about drug houses. We all know about gang houses. Even in the East Coast Bays, we’re not immune to these things.
    David Seymour: Surely not!
ERICA STANFORD: Even in the East Coast Bays—peddling drugs and misery and targeting vulnerable people. All of these drug houses, gang pads, and dodgy premises continue to operate despite the police’s best intentions and best efforts to close them down. They don’t have the power to go in and enter those places without a warrant; yet here we are. Never mind that—never mind that. We’re not even in level 4, we’re not in level 3, but we’re about to go into level 2, and here we are, setting aside the requirement of a police officer to gain a warrant before going into a private dwelling because your neighbour might think you’ve got too many kids at your kid’s birthday party. The Government had the numbers to pass this law today to allow police to enter your home without a warrant—not because of legal firearms, not because of methamphetamine, but because the Prime Minister has decided that your kid’s birthday party is too big and the cops can go in and close it down.
We did what was asked of us—99.9 percent of us followed the rules. We can be trusted. We can be treated like adults. We do not need to impose such Draconian measures and descend into some kind of police State for level 2, and for that reason, I cannot support this bill.

I made a prediction yesterday. We will see a huge increase in cases as vaccination rates ramp up. Look at all the countries with high vaccination rates, they all have a major increases in cases….. Vaccinated people are super spreaders as they have the bug, but often show no symptoms, and have larger viral loads in their noses. …. And they are where the vaccines are mutating.. Watch this space and note this date. Geert van den Bosch will be proved correct.

    • “Katikati has also been put into the spotlight overnight after a Pukekohe person – who was fully vaccinated – who was in the middle of shifting to a rural area north of Katikati also tested positive.”

    • I would think this person would be well & truly pressured to be double jabbed, by the just the sheer number of nasal swabs.

a person receiving treatment at North Shore hospital’s dialysis unit yesterday tested positive for Covid, officials said this afternoon.

Waitematā DHB says the person using dialysis was appropriately screened before going to the unit and again on arrival at the unit.
The person became unwell during treatment and was swabbed [again]and subsequently tested positive.

It seems that some one switched a light on to +’ive.

So will they tell us if double jabbed? & how long ago.
Maybe they needed a booster, but so far NZ has no plans for that.
Is it another “break through” case?

  25. Just out of interest how many of this weeks cases were linked to brian tamakis super spreader event? Im guessing thats the cause of todays massive spike//

Has the protest been listed as a place of interest yet? If it dosent make the list in the next couple of days then that should be tamakis no1 piece of evidence for his defence.

    • Look on the bright side. If the number of new cases mushroom, the government can make a big push for people to get their second vaccination. Once the percentage of double-clot-shotters surpasses an arbitrary number like, gee, 80%? then the government can declare the war over and New Zealand can open up like the UK, Norway, Sweden and (shortly) Japan, and the productive tax-paying workers can get back to their lives.

This is their only honorable way out. I hope that they take it. The alternative is a most horrible form of political suicide.

This farce has gone on long enough.

My spies deep in the Japanese community in Auckland inform me that the groundswell against the government is gathering momentum. The people are growing tired of the Labour Party’s shenanigans. (Finally.)

  26. Bit slow turning the telly off when The Chase ended tonight, so found yet another Covid modeller getting screen time. Is anyone else astonished at how many Covid modelling experts we have in wee NZ?
How long have they been here? and what were they all doing prior to 2019?
I have always wondered why our epidemic response was so pedestrian – especially with so many recent experiences of swine flu, bird flu, measles etc
Wouldn’t you think with so many experts our response would already have been a checklist:
    Order PPE
    Close borders to affected areas
Identify and order appropriate treatment meds
Increase ICU capacity with quarantine measures
Implement public health measures to reduce spread

    …..

    • Ah yes thos modellers… 80k dead, 7k dead, latest outbreak 120, latest outbreak 800, latest out break will be over in a couple of weeks. Wtf bullshit and phoney figures are they saying now?

All of their modelling is done on the assumption that 100% of the population catches covid in a short timeframe, zero real world data used and zero factoring in of our very spread out population and low density throughout 90% of the country.
In america only 15% of the population has exp a confirmed case so why is the likes of hendy assuming 100% infection rate esp amongst unvaxed?

  27. It was the parents. That was determined early on in the initial, and subsequent, investigations. The same parents who immediately hired lawyers and PR people to spin up sympathy from human garbage.

Not that I needed an investigation to demonstrate that. I could immediately tell the mother was guilty from her pathetic acting attempts.

      • The problem is that in a fit of rage or passion just about anything is possible. My mother was pretty much psycho & although the old man held her in check my brothers & I had less than perfect upbringings. Mrs Nasska witnessed her mother being pulped by her father.

We had no problems agreeing that our kids were not to be physically punished…..ever. It’s not easy, it wasn’t fashionable in the early 70s but it can work.

  28. – The Routledge History of Disease By Mark Jackson

In 1913 NZ introduced “vaccine certificates” only for Maori, who were a threat to the pure healthy settler state with their unhygienic savage customs like attending funerals

“Travel restrictions and quarantine measures aimed specifically at Māori reflected the widespread belief that they were responsible for the outbreak.
Under Section 18 of the 1908 Public Health Act, the Public Health Department issued proclamations forbidding Māori and half-caste Māori from travelling from infected areas, unless they possessed a certificate from a public vaccinator or doctor testifying to a successful vaccination.
The railways, trams, taxis and shipping companies could not carry Māori unless they had a certificate and the Borough Councils of Onehunga and Cambridge voted to prevent Māori entering these towns.
Many people expressed the desire for more extreme methods of segregation and control. In Parliament, some members suggested more stringent measures were required.
These ranged from prohibiting all Māori, even those vaccinated, from travelling on railways, to the suggestion that all Māori travelling on public transport should be fumigated, based on the belief that even those who were vaccinated could still ‘carry germs about their persons’.
Some newspaper commentary on the outbreak expressed virulent racial antagonism: ‘In filthy and insanitary Māori villages the disease roots itself, thrives and extends.
Diseased Māoris wander over the country, stray into the towns, work on the wharves, loiter on the streets without any action being taken until the disease is widespread.’”

Why was their a 6 week delay before Phizer fronted up.

      • I have wondered that too Sooty.

Just why the drug buying vaxx buying bypassed Pharma?
Was it because Doctors, and other medical minded people would have scrutinized the vaxxs? or ask some silly & awkward questions?

Often the Pharmac seems hard in figuring which drugs, generic, but do seem to be aware the are supposed to stay in budget.
Pharmac knows that some of its decisions are reality, life & death, and can not be a wish list of fiction.
They have got it wrong, like some cheaper generics have killed people, but complaints arose, (uncensored) with publicity, so they would have to go through a process of review, and changed tack.

        Who pushed this directional by-pass,
Some good questions should be set up and put to them under an Official Information Act?

Was it the Director General of the Ministry Health, or any part of the Ministry of Health ok with this?
Did Andrew Little or previous Minister of Health push this?

A total unknown new ministry more amendable to what is being pushed?
Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE)
A reputation of over spending, for glory?
Trying to make fiction a reality, as they wish business’s to be.

Some how this department has also been department of choice on economic advice too.

Pursuit of Truth, bare facts, in so many things, to then become a knowledge & principles through experience,
Stop the answers that come from “Discourse Consensus”; that “conversation to be had”, whether young or old that eschews facts, observations, experience.

Used to be 140 years ago, the orphan was sent out in the world, with just a suitcase of necessities and a few $ to make their way in the world.
1880 …. “No mother’s tears were shed over the departing waifs,” wrote a reporter from the New York Daily Tribune, “no father’s counsel was given to the boys who were about to enter upon a new life.”
That new life awaited them in Iowa, where they would arrive after a days-long train trip that swept them from urban New York to the rural Midwest.
There, the Children’s Aid Society workers hoped, they would be adopted by families and put to work in fields and on farms. ….

      https://www.history.com/news/orphan-trains-childrens-aid-society
There have been many upheavals through out history, that in part is tragic, but life where it can, goes on.

I appreciate the life I have had, and in contrast, have been privileged to hear enough first hand stories of the experiences, difficulties, others have been through, in the past century.
Experience, Age, brings greater understanding of some the nuances in those stories.

The education system has a lot to answer for, the expectations sold, and the systemic removal of reasoning.
Work, Preparation, gaining experience, when young is important.
As preparation meeting opportunity is what makes good luck.

Hope is being sold short here.
Our culture, been turned up side down.

Others have a hope, crossing continents, seas, to a better a life.. but to a place where the social welfare is so strong, that provides accommodation, plus spending money, to where woman can be taken, and all parts of those cultures are made into “they’re us” as a priority.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison says he and NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet are looking to “accelerate” opening the international border for the state after its vaccine rollout continued to go from strength to strength.

Mr Morrison said it will be made possible once home quarantine arrangements are finalised, a process he revealed NSW is also trying to fast track.

“If that happens we will be able to move to facilitate the opening up of the international border in NSW sooner,” he said in a video address.

We need to talk about transhumanism
    Kit Wilson

This weekend, hundreds of people from across the globe will gather in Madrid to discuss how to turn themselves into a new species.
The occasion is TransVision, the worlds biggest annual meet-up of transhumanists — and probably the most important intellectual summit you’ve never heard of. This year, anti-ageing specialist Aubrey de Grey will explain why he thinks most people alive today have a 50/50chance of living to a thousand years old. The CEO of the Alcor Life Extension Foundation, Max More, will discuss cryogenics, the process by which the newly deceased are frozen in giant, stainless steel vats and preserved for resurrection down the line.
