  1. Mr Seymour

Im sorry but a couple of years ago i thought you were new zealand politics “10th man”, aka the loyal dissenter and i got suckered into thinking you and your party was “the party of freedom”Ā  you impressed me with your desire and passion to defend freedom of speech and being a licenced firearm owner i admired that you were the only one to attempt to stand up for us and our rights.Ā
I now see through that rubbish and realize youre just the same grandstanding clickbait type, just the same as every other self serving politician on this planet. You have alot in common with winston peters… and that is in no way a compliment.

Somewhere between then and now youve bowed down to the devil and decided that no longer shall the people have freedom of speech, choice and expression and we must toe the line of what you and your crimanal mates in the beehive decide. its become like a sick version of the childhood game “simon says” but with no end in sight, the more citizens of NZ play along the more power drunk and fascist you lot become.

    https://www.1news.co.nz/2021/10/11/get-vaxxed-dont-be-a-dickhead-seymours-blunt-message-to-supporters/

Going by your repeated attacks on my personal choice to decline being injected with a mystery genetic concoction that has no medium or long term safety data Im obviously not an unwelcome dickhead supporter any more.
Thats ok as i cannot support a fascist wannabe that thinks they can more efficiently control my life and reduce my freedoms better then the current mob of clowns in charge.

David Seymour and the ACT party… freedom in name only.Ā If you had any morals and truly wanted real freedom you would not mock discriminate mandate or isolate any person for any reason.
I respect yours and everyone elses choice to take the vaccine, but you dont respect mine.
I want freedom and rights for every kiwi but you want to take mine away.
You are complicit in the destruction of New zealands economy, society and way of life. I hope eventually you come to your senses and realise the mistakes youre making by shitting on 15-20% of our countries population that have chosen to think critically and be cautious, I shall accept any consequences for my choice be it medically, socially and financially as will hundreds of thousands of other kiwis but do realise WE WILL REMEMBER!

    • Yet another night of insomnia so decided to kill a bit of time and send an email to david seymour, also unsubscribed from act and declared him yet another enemy of the people and a threat to my way of life and the freedom of our nation.

Hes been fickle lately and part backtracking on a few things but name calling and belittling his supporters that choose not to get vaxxed makes it clear hes doubling down on stupidity and fascist idealogy.

      • Thank you IAASB for your posts. I was awake half the night churning and thinking how I should ask Seymour’s position and resign from party membership if he apposed freedom. I can so you have done it for me so thank you fellow insomniac.

I will email him today and resign from his dad little party. I had high hopes for ACT but it was just an illusion. Fuck you ACT for folding.

        • I also had high hopes for Seymour. I suspect that he is not quite as stupid as his recent actions make him look, but he sure is compromised, or someone in ACT above him is compromised.

Anyone who stores their data in the Cloud, which is run by the same major tech companies that are censoring news, immediately becomes a blackmail candidate. Judges, politicians, high ranking govt officials in position of influence, all become candidates.

And political blackmail was going on long before the Cloud.

      • Thank you IAASB for writing that excellent letter to Seymour, the latest fascist politician to show his true colours. If only your words would change his stance.

Extra ticks and a hug from me for your efforts.

    • IAASB,, As I’ve said many times on YSB our countries biggest problems start at those 120 utterly useless C- -TS down in Wellington, to prove my point just go through a random picture lineup of the pieces of shit in no particular party order and despair.

    • After what 30 years that’s my sentiments entirely.

Simon says. well yes he was planking on on theweekend saying the same shit.

Looks like its going to be the voices for Freedom Ladies and their Party guys.

Left me thinking this morning of something much more sinister about this vaccine.
      Does it alter the brain?
Seems that once a person is jabbed they go all stupid and start following the company line.

I donno but it seems that way to me.

      • Viking, are vff going to be an official party for the next election? I hope so as currently there is zero i would vote for. Im not sure if groundswell will register a party or not guess it depends if they can sway the govt before then and get them to back down

    • IAASB, that is a wonderful letter to a turncoat. I too (though I have supported ACT since its inception) thought once it was a party of honour unfortunately not now, if it wishes to regain my support they will definitely have to change their way of thinking and not call me a dickhead. I feel so disappointed that he would talk like that when he once had the thinking New Zealander in his hand, he has wasted the hard fought gains. I for one will no longer support this party. I would like to know what the hell happened to him and his principles of free speech etc etc.

      • Thanks Lizzie and other fellow ysbers, im not much of a letter writer or one for actually taking the time to explain my frustrations to said person but this has been on my mind and building for a while now.

Last straw was yesterday when i read his dont be a dickhead comment to his “supporters” i was also extremely appalled he stood by and done nothing to protect rights and freedoms of our teachers and nurses.

Usually it would be a short and blunt comment of my disgust so ive done well to put my thoughts in writing and make sense, probably lots of spelling mistakes and bad grammar but hey im a millenial that survived our appalling ncea education system (still passed and was absent 40% of my 5th form year so what does that tell ya)

        • Writing is very therapeutic. Either for your own readership, or for supporting the cause, as you have done with your piece. As for the concerns about mistakes, grammar, etc. I’m a professional editor, and I confess I didn’t pick them up first read through lol. What captured my attention was your heartfelt and spot on message. Well done IAASB.

I was also awake half the night, wondering why the world has gone to hell, and the vax becoming even more covid-cult-ish, and so on. People who are normally quite sane and reasonable seem to have become the opposite. I lost a major skirmish last night, but today is another day to continue the good fight so we can win this info war. Thanks, IAASB for stepping into the frontline for a moment and giving us some more courage and hope.

    • You are not a stupid boy at all but a sensible and thoughtful one. Well said.
I posted this last night on the previous HYS thread and I repeat it here in the hope that someone will bring it to Seymour’s attention while they are showing him your post:

Seymour’s vaccine obsession will be the undoing of all ACT’s good work over the last couple of years, They have lost me as a supporter and several others I know. Where are New Zealand’s Clive Palmer and Greg Kelly in our time of desperate need?

      18

      1

      • Alice, i dont believe it will be acts undoing as hes just hoovering up those pro vax folk that have had a gutsfull of national and the karen farmers wives that ditched national and voted cindy last election. For every one of us that turn our backs on act and the corrupt political system 2 or 3 disillusioned nat or cindy voters will fill our space as act supporters.

  2. Sorry guys i asked similar to this months ago but lost the responses and links when my old phone went swimming in the shit pond.
Killing more time so penned a few questions to OIA as im curious about a few things and cant find anything in relation to it anywhere, i want to get this right before i send my requests due to the time it takes to get a response and the waste of time having to resubmit if i stuff up the questions.

How does one best word OIA requests to be successful and to extract maximum info in one go?
Ive read that if you ask too specific of request they may dodge/reject it is that correct?Ā
If so then how broad or specific should requests be?
    Is there off limits requests?
I see cam slater got bloomers texts, can anyone get hold of the correspondence between 2 ppl? How do we do that, specify the 2ppl and the dates for which you want? (How specific do i need to be)
Is it best to stick to just one topic or could i cover several topics/areas in the request (all to the same ministry)Ā  or am i better to send in several seperate requests?

Is there a “how to guide” (the govt/ministry website dosent really answer much) i remember seeing a helpfull guide some time ago either here or kb? Maybe one of you helpfull bastards will know.

Any help and advice appreciated, thanks

  3. Remember when Ardern opened up her face book page about getting vaccinated.
Israel did something very similiar & that includes the deleting of thousands of comments.

This is a good report of what the Ministry or Health in Israel did, and brings up a number of issues.
Sure cagey & neutral, but so far has stayed on the Utube website, but for how long?

You can see ahead in Israel, as mentioned, some glimpses of what is in store, for New Zealand as we continue down this blind track.

      • It’s strange that our lot are that dumb, they try to reinvent the wheel!
Some countries were first of the mark by going early and hard etc,,
So all you have to do is look at what they did, achieved, what worked or didn’t. Pick the best, not the worst. It’s ain’t going to change from one country to the next. Just copy what works, not what don’t!!!
Except we have a large maori/PI population. Are they that differnt from us?

      • Thanks Ross12, as it good that there is some way for others to view, and to may be ask more of those people, about those effects, even if it is Facebook.
Sure there are trolls, but they show up as being dubious characters.

And as mentioned, many of face book comments are from real named people, and have been members of face-book for years.

Also interesting to see that in Israel, some thought to take screen shots, before deletion.

This shows the reporting systems in Israel and New Zealand seems to be very dodgy, and even to get the medicos to put in a report.
It would make one wonder if the Medical Autocracy have a social down grade, a cost, for the ones who do report.

  5. Morning Troopers,

Has it occurred to anyone that Ardern isn’t useless, but is in fact brilliant? And her plan is to absolutely devastate the country, bringing the population to its knees, and ruining those who won’t bow to her dictates. So that from the rubble she is free to progress and grow her agenda unopposed.

I’m finding it more plausible than the possibility that she’s just fucking useless.

      • You are correct, in my view Toko.
This came in late last night and I started to quickly look at it but ended up watching the whole video. The guy uses quite basic facts to show who are the elite and how they control everything …. 3 key corporations are major shareholders in all the major companies worldwide. They are Vanguard (the key one), Blackrock and State Street Corporation.
The young guy does a very good segment on the media, how they are all inter linked and how they often sprout the same lines on key propaganda issues.
Last night Kea and nasska were asking the question that a few of us have at various times …how is this coordinated and the end goal appears to be retention , consolidation and centralization of power . This video help explain that they are correct.

Well worth 60 minutes of your time.

If you recall that DL’s often quoted ‘Build Back Better’ mantra is also the slogan of the NWO, then what she is doing makes perfect sense, and follows a similar process to that which Schwieb (sp?) et al advocate.

As well (And to use a military analogy), the new recruit is ‘Broken’ in their Basic Training then ‘rebuilt’ in the ‘style’ most suited to whatever of the armed forces they are in.

NZ is unfortunately said ‘New Recruit’ and as Soviet Russia, Pol Pot, and Mao (CCP) (All DL’s hero’s apparently) did the same, she is merely mimmicking their actions, with no thought and little real care.

    • There is a reason Cindy is so like Trudeau, Macron in their leadership style. They are trained Marxists funnelled through the Communist Youth leadership training programme. Merkle, an East Berlin communist was one of the original leadership members.

    • I’ve been thinking the same for ages too, Saggy. Well said. I’ve never viewed Ardern as just silly little ‘Cindy’ girl. I’ve consistently said that she is a dangerous Marxist and I think you’re right that her agenda is to destroy New Zealand and replace it with some dystopian totalitarian state.

  6. Its a sad day inparadise when your local over paid chief of the DHB tells those that are not vaccinated by choice that they are the disease.
Thats what the head of our DHB in the BOP said last week.

apparently the foolish logic of his mind sees the vaccinated as saintly.
They can do no wrong except get the virus, spread the virus and endanger other peoples health.

Another bought and paid for Dr without a brain. Jabbed to present the phizer view of the world.

    21

    0

    • Viking@0707

But if he already HAS said jab (and is therefore ‘protected’ from the ‘virus’) , then what is his problem? He should be feeling ‘sorry’ for us, not berating us, or is it one of those ‘Misery loves company’ and he ‘Hates to drink alone’ situations?

So far no-one has offered a valid ‘reason why’ and ‘concern for my personal well-being’ is not a truthful statement.

          • We’re doomed if the atheists are praying!

            The Atheist and the Bear

One beautiful morning, an atheist was walking through the forest, admiring natures surroundings…

He looked up and saw the trees swaying in the wind high above him and smiled…

He saw the river glisten and the sun twinkle like a new born star and it made him warm inside…

He thought to himself that mother nature had made a true and wonderful world…

The atheist had walked a little further down the track he had taken when suddenly a bear jumped out of the bushes only a few yards ahead of him and started growling, looking hungry and ran quickly towards him…

Seeing the big bear bounding towards him he screamed in horror and started running as fast as he could away from the bear…

Knowing that the bear would catch up to him and he had no chance, the atheist soon ran out of breath and in a few paces fell to the ground…

As the bears shadow fell upon his face and his paws come down upon his chest, the atheist screamed, “Oh help me God!”

Suddenly the trees that he so much admired stopped swaying…

The river he loved suddenly stopped flowing…

And the sky opened up and a voice begun to speak…

“I am God, and even though you don’t believe in me, I am here for every being on this earth.”

The atheist felt relieved a little bit and asked God, “I’m sort of in this situation, I’m only asking if you can help me get out of it.”

God thought for a moment and said…

“I will give you one wish to help you and that is all, you may proceed with this wish.”

The atheist thought about this wish for a moment and then spoke to God…

“Well I don’t really want to become a religious person, so I wish the bear to become religious himself.”

            God spoke…

            “So be it done.”

            Suddenly the sky closed up…

The river turned back into its flowing glory…

The trees began to sway again…

And the bear clapped his paws together and said…

“Thank you God for this meal I’m about to receive!”

    • Unfortunately and very sadly is that the government will put in place massive fines for non compliance.
Then those snitches, ken & karen, will quietly record as evidence against the business’s, and hand it over to the enforcers.

The good part of this, will we have resistance, like in Melbourne?
Or just a remnant of outsiders, as so many capitulated like in Lithuania, where they have created a special arm of legislated authoritarian bureaucratic guards to be enforcers?

I am not being defeatist, and will twist & turn, to keep that ember glowing, in myself & others, to be beacons.
So when the rest of the wets are dried out, to light a conflagration can overturn this systemic all-controlling collectivism

  11. An easy read with lots of good links….
    https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2021/10/why_is_the_covid_case_count_so_high.html

“There is no pandemic. There never was. Since only 6% of ā€œCOVID deathsā€ were from only the bug, there have only been about 40,000 total, roughly equal to seasonal flu. In the early days, we didn’t know how to treat it and rationally feared that the new Black Death had arrived. But by May of last year, we already knew that HCQ was probably effective in early cases. Early treatment would cause a (non)crisis to go to waste, and that could not be allowed. So very effective treatments and excellent prophylactic measures were suppressed.”……
“Before you start throwing rotten tomatoes and soiled work boots, please watch David Martin Ph.D. and Reiner Fuellmich tell why they believe Anthony Fauci and his cohorts were neck-deep in the COVID gain-of-function and patent process for at least the last twenty-two years. Among the key patents are some that, if they are for a naturally occurring virus, are illegal according to the Supreme Court. If they’re for an engineered virus, they’re contrary to the Biological Weapons Convention, which became effective in 1975. Martin and Fuellmich allege that the parties to this corrupt process include Anthony Fauci, Ralph Baric, Peter Daszak, Dr. Shi Zhengli (the Wuhan Bat Lady), and—drum roll, please—none other than Bill Gates. Dr. Martin has made available a long list of documents he contends support this claim.”

  14. Nice outline of where the US economy is from Simon Black of Sovereign Man,
    October 11, 2021
When I was about five years old in the early 1980s, my dad brought home our first computer.
I’ll never forget it– it was an clunky IBM with a tiny, orange, monochromatic monitor, and dual floppy disks. It had 640 kilobytes of RAM, and no hard disk.
I loved it. With that computer I learned how to program, how to navigate a command-line interface, how to design algorithms, and how to solve constant problems… because it was ridiculously buggy and would break down all the time.
It was also painfully slow. The boot-up process could easily take an hour, from the time I flipped on the power switch, to the time I saw the ā€˜DOS prompt’.
Sometimes I think that computer is a great metaphor for the global economy. Turning it off is nothing; you flip the switch and the power goes off. But starting it back up again takes a long time. And the process isn’t so smooth– sometimes it crashes during bootup.
Last March when the Great Plague was upon us, nearly every industry, in nearly every country in the world, practically shut down.
And many businesses went bust, never to return.
Eighteen months later businesses have largely reopened. But like my old computer, the reboot process has been riddled with critical errors and system failures.
For example, right now there are countless businesses in industries from retail to manufacturing that are experiencing severe labor shortages. Supply chains around the world are breaking down, resulting in product shortages and major transportation bottlenecks.
The end result of this dumpster fire is that prices are soaring. And I wanted to spend some time today connecting the dots to help explain some of these important trends.
Let’s go back to last March again when everything shut down. You probably recall that dozens of large companies declared bankruptcy, like Nieman Marcus, GNC, JC Penny, etc.
But there were other companies that went bust which most people have probably never heard of. They were in more mundane, less sexy industries… like corrugated paper and wood pulp.
Yet while their demise was hardly noticed, it turns out they would have a significant impact on the global economy.
Global shipping demand surged last year in ways that had never been seen before. Suddenly, instead of efficient supply chains shipping goods to large marketplaces (like retail and grocery stores), consumers wanted everything delivered to them.
While the total volume of shipping was largely the same (or even less) than previous years, the number of individual shipments increased dramatically.
In other words, instead of a single large shipment to a store or supermarket, companies were making thousands of tiny shipments to individual consumers.
This meant more trips… and more packaging. More cardboard boxes. More plastic wrap. More plastic containers. More Styrofoam.
And the prices for all of these materials has spiked.
The price for polyethylene, for example, which is used extensively in shipping, has increased from $820 per ton to $1,850 per ton. Polypropylene prices are also up from $1,100 per ton to $1,770 per ton.
It’s a similar trend with cardboard and corrugated paper. And these price increases aren’t simply due to high demand either.
Supply has fallen. Last March when a number of wood pulp producers went out of business, no one noticed and no one cared. But it turned out that more than 10% of all North American paper capacity vanished, practically overnight, just before demand started to surge.
And this capacity cannot be simply turned on again with a flip of a switch. It takes a lot of effort to resurrect a bankrupt factory, to re-hire and re-train workers. (We’ll get to the worker issue in a moment.)
It’s a similar trend around the world– foreign factories have closed, and those that remain open are struggling to retain workers and operate under strict COVID protocols. Manufacturing efficiency is way down as a result, so they’re not producing enough supply to keep up with demand.
Then there are the actual shipping problems– the crazy delays, especially on the West Coast of the United States, that prevent container ships from delivering their cargo.
It’s not that there aren’t enough ships in the world; in fact, the total global capacity in terms of TEUs, or 20-foot Equivalent Units, is slightly higher than pre-pandemic.
But a range of factors, including COVID rules and union regulations, means there’s a shortage of maritime crew to operate the vessels. There’s also a shortage of dockworkers, truck drivers, forklift operators, etc. at the ports.
This is especially true in California, whose regulatory environment makes port operations extremely difficult and inefficient.
Yet sadly for the United States, California’s ports are the busiest and most important in the country; most of the seafreight from China is offloaded at the Port of Long Beach or Port of Los Angeles, so bottlenecks there cause a major ripple effect across the country.
Right now there is a backlog of literally hundreds of thousands of ships waiting to unload their cargo in southern California.
This makes the COVID policies of California especially important for the rest of the United States; whatever Gavin Newsome decides has a huge impact on the national economy.
Labor is obviously another major issue in this messy economic reboot.
Thanks to a steady digest of mass media Covid hysteria, there are still plenty of people who are terrified to leave their homes and go to work.
Moreover, there are so many people who got used to being home over the past 18-months, that now they only want a job where they can work from home.
This is a major problem for businesses… and why it’s so hard for restaurant companies, fast food joints, retail shops, factories, etc. to find workers. People would rather stay home.
The government hasn’t exactly been helpful in this department when they were paying outsized unemployment benefits to encourage everyone to stay home. That effect is lingering.
There’s another trend at work here, though.
For the last several years, politicians have been fighting hard to bring manufacturing jobs back to the United States.
It turns out that no one really wanted those jobs to begin with.
Younger people in particular don’t have as much interest in those sorts of traditional jobs; they’d rather be ā€˜influencers’ and make their money posting butt selfies and snapshots of their contrived lifestyle.
This was already becoming an issue prior to COVID; large companies– especially those in industries that were considered unappealing to Gen Z– were complaining how difficult it was to hire, train, and retain young workers. Now it’s borderline impossible.
Businesses also have to compete with the government for labor, which has gobbled up workers and put them to work as ā€˜contact tracers’.
And retail companies that are lucky enough to find employees are forced to misallocate those scarce resources to do unproductive tasks, like checking everyone’s ā€˜papers’ when customers walk through the door.
And then, of course, if a business has been able to navigate all of those crazy obstacles, Hunter Biden’s dad is now forcing you to fire any worker who hasn’t been [unmentionable word– thanks Google].
On top of all of the above is the Federal Reserve’s monetary blowout. They’ve printed trillions of dollars over the past 18 months to ā€˜support the economy’. Yet even though the unemployment rate is down to 4.8%, they’re STILL printing at least $120 billion per month in new money.
All that new money has helped fuel giant asset bubbles in stocks, bonds, property, and commodities. Energy prices in particular have risen sharply, and this tends to cause all other prices to rise.
The result of all of this insanity is inflation. Lots of it.
The problem is that most of these trends are not going away anytime soon. The Fed may start to taper its money printing. But they have very little room to raise interest rates meaningfully to combat inflation.
Plus the labor issues, government policy, shipping, manufacturing shortages, etc. are going to last for a while.
In fact, you’d think the correct government policy right now would be to create incentives for people to work, to create new businesses, and to invest in new technology that could automate and clean up the bottlenecks.
At a minimum you’d think they’d stay the hell away and let capitalism do its job.
After all, free market competition is one of the greatest tools to fix any economic woes, especially inefficiencies and resource misallocation.
Yet all of the policies they’re proposing are anti-competitive and anti-market. They want to create DISINCENTIVES to form businesses and make investments.
It’s the exact opposite of what they should be doing.
(This is what happens when you put a socialist in charge of writing the budget.)
So the next time one of these politicians or central bankers say that inflation is ā€˜transitory’, you can be certain they’re completely clueless about what’s happening in the real world.
    To your freedom,

    • Thanks Curious,

      anti-competitive and anti-market.

It is setting the government into a ‘Stalin-esquesk’ command bee-hive economy as the academia of “scientism” Lysenkoism, and the techno-bureau-crats ‘amped’ up by Pravada mouth pieces, just can not have any other showing them up.

A long planned euthanasia of the unvaxxed is to be put in place, by controlling already as we see on the cheap prophylactics, and first & early treatment.
To delay in the queue for any other treatments, even it is urgent.
Afterall the routine costly vaxx treatments must not be shown up.

To lead to a starving controlled serfdom, that will be run on a command economy system, as it is essential for the sustainability of the planet, for the benefit of every one, and in particular, …..

However on a more positive note, the governments bureaucrats may think it is simple, but when the supermarket shelves are empty, prices sky rocket, and many will see that those bureaucrats can organize a piss up in a brewery.

…..”Some studies suggest that if you start by booking someone an appointment, tell them when and where it is, and then offer to answer any questions, then that has a higher chance of success than doing questions first, bookings second.”……

Since they’re determined to treat us as malleable children I suggest that recipients of the garbage react in kind. Reply to any overtures by throwing your toys at them, starting off with the big sharp, pointy ones.

  16. From a book written by an American on Britain today. An interesting read but I guess we will be heading that way in due course.
“According to an Ipsos MORI poll conducted in July, an impressive 27 percent of Britons want to impose a government-mandated nationwide curfew of 10 PM—not then in forceā€”ā€œuntil the pandemic was under control worldwide,ā€ which might be years from now. A not-inconsiderable 19 percent would impose such a curfew ā€œpermanently, regardless of the risk from Covid-19.ā€ Presumably, these are people who don’t get out much. While 64 percent want Britain’s mask mandate in shops and on public transport to remain a legal requirement for the duration of the global pandemic, an astounding 51 percent want to be masked by law, forever. ”

  18. A Chinese doctor cant find a job in a hospital in America, so he opens a clinic and puts a sign outside that reads “GET TREATMENT FOR $20 – IF NOT CURED GET BACK $100.”

An American lawyer thinks this is a great opportunity to earn $100 and goes to the clinic.

Lawyer: “I have lost my sense of taste.”

Chinese: “Nurse, bring medicine from box No. 14 and put 3 drops in patient’s mouth.”

    Lawyer: “Ugh. this is kerosene.”

Chinese: “Congrats, your sense of taste is restored. Give me my $20.”

The annoyed lawyer goes back after a few days to try to recover his money.

Lawyer: “I have lost my memory. I can’t remember anything.”

Chinese: “Nurse, bring medicine from box no. 14 and put 3 drops in his mouth.”

Lawyer (annoyed): “This is kerosene. You gave this to me last time for restoring my taste.”

Chinese: “Congrats. You got your memory back. Give me $20.”

The fuming lawyer pays him, then comes back a week later determined to get back $100.

Lawyer: “My eyesight has become very weak I cannot see at all.”

Chinese: “Well, I don’t have any medicine for that, so take this $100.”

Lawyer (staring at the note): “But this is $20, not $100!ā€

Chinese: “Congrats, your eyesight is restored. Give me $20ā€

  19. The first morning after the government’s first big bluff. Who will blink first, the teachers/nurses or the government? If society does not push back now and support our teachers and nurses who choose not to be bullied and coerced, then the rest of us will be next. Teachers and nurses going on strike should be the next step. Roughly 60% of healthcare workers are currently vaccinated, if the remaining 40% were to walk off the job it would send a clear message the government is overstepping by a long way. At this point china is looking like a less totalitarian hellhole than NZ.

    • Most teachers support the vax mandate. Nothing going to happen there in terms of a walk out. The unions have sold their soul to the devil as well. The small group of unvaxxed teachers will make a noise but we don’t have the numbers so we will be tossed aside like flotsam. Its devastating reading the cries of anguish from teachers who face financial oblivion at the stroke of Fuckface’s pen. Hope he dies a miserable, painful death.

would have thought seeing first hand the 1000’s of vaccine injuries that have occurred so far would be enough to put anyone off who works in healthcare.

        • “….the presenter then went on to question a caller who’s wife was a nurse why he thinks anyone who works in healthcare could fathom not getting the jab.”

DL said something about that a couple of months ago along the lines of: “We need to stamp out the anti-vaxx misinformation. There is an increasing number of highly qualified scientists and Doctors that are speaking out against the vaccines, and this has to stop.”

Any question or circumspect thought always generates as a minimum, two lines of thinking. Unless the answer is blindingly obvious, objectivity demands that both be inspected.

When DL said what she said (above), she demonstrated her excess lack of intelligence and honesty by not even questioning at least one alternative reason for why highly qualified scientists and Doctors might be speaking out against the vaccines. i.e. that the vaccines don’t work and ARE actually harmful.

Sometimes the answers are right in front of us, but we don’t want to see them.

An 86-year-old man went to his doctor for his quarterly check-up…

The doctor asked the man how he was feeling, and the 86-year-old said, “things are great, and I’ve never felt better! I now have a 20-year-old bride who is pregnant with my child. What do you think about that, doc?”

The doctor considered the question for a minute, and then began to tell a story.

“I have an older friend, much like you, who is an avid hunter and never misses a season. One day he was setting off to go hunting. In a bit of a hurry, he accidentally picked up his walking cane instead of his gun.”

“As he neared a lake, he came across a very large male beaver sitting at the water’s edge. He realized he left his gun at home, and so, he couldn’t shoot the magnificent creature. Out of habit he raised his cane, aimed it at the animal as if it was his favorite hunting rifle, and yelled ‘bang bang’. Miraculously, two shots rang out and the beaver fell dead.”

“Now, what do you think of that?” asked the doctor.

The 86-year-old replied, “logic would strongly suggest that somebody else pumped a few rounds into that beaver.”

The doctor replied, “my point exactly.”

  20. I have a hypothetical question for you.

“Imagine if you will a democratic country unexpectedly taken over by a totalitarian regime that imprisoned its citizens their homes unless they had an ‘excuse’ to go out, destroyed its economy and its social life, conducted widespread ‘medical’ experimentation by coercion and stopped its citizens from travelling freely within the land.

“If that were the case, would the citizens be justified in resisting by burning down the parliament, dragging the ringleaders of said regime into the streets and stringing them up by their necks? Or would it be better to wait until camps had been established and mass executions were being carried out by the state?”

    Just wondering.

  21. The absurdities of these lockup provisions never cease to amaze me. As a result of a misspent childhood eating too many sweets I visited my dentist this morning to have a filling replaced. All the usual sit in the car until called, sign in, sanitise your hands and sign in nonsense as expected. Dentist was wearing a mask with a plastic face shield over the top which perfectly funneled my breath directly up towards his face and trapped it under the shield. He proceeded to tell me that as soon as they drill a tooth the room has to be sealed, sterilised after use and then shut off for 30 minutes before the next patient. Cost him 2 hours of productivity every day, out of his own pocket no doubt. The dental hygienist who works from the same practise is still unable to work. Go figure.

    • Have all these people with the covid (who have, silly them gone and got tested), are they all really desperately ill? This is the burning question for me. Just how ill are they all? I am incredibly sorry for any of them that are really ill and hospitalised if they are not morbidly obese, not smokers, or not alcoholics or a not having a range of other genuine ailments. However if they are just coughing and a bit of cold like symptoms why are we so worried? Who worried about the usual flue? Mostly we had no idea around 500 died each year from it. In the past two years we have had 21 die of this so called terrible virus? Call me stupid but I simply cannot for the life of me work it out. How many of us actually know anyone who has had it? My daughter and two members of her family had it and yes they were ill but the boys were absolutely fine after a week to 10 days my daughter took longer but she is also now fine, and that was in the UK.

      14

      • Lizziep, logic has totally disappeared amongst the vaxxed. I know people who had the worst cold/flu ever in 2019 and they think it was probably “covid”. The only person I’ve personally come across who had it was hospitalised with pneumonia, and survived. And I know plenty who had bad colds or got very ill after being vaxxed (and tested covid negative) but of course, it had nothing to do with the jab. The propaganda is working well among the vaxxed though. Mr J and I are now officially banned from family events until we get jabbed and we are a huge disappointment so they are punishing us until we comply. It’s quite a relief because now I have certainty about planning my Christmas day – and it’s going to be wonderfully stress-free.

It’s amazing how much this pandemic has taught me about human behavior and how a so-called “individualistic Western nation” can be far more obedient and compliant than some Asian ones.

          12

          0

          • Unfortunately O’sen I can’t see it blowing over. Covid might blow over but the agenda will still be intact and there will be something else. Best we can hope for is that the “sheep” will start to wake up before it is too late and realise that they have been conned.

            12

            0

          • Odakyu-sen, I think that would depend on the impact of the vaxx, etc. A statement was made among my siblings some months ago (before the vaxx became an issue) that the big extended family stuff was only being done to please the older generation. So I think this may be permanent (I’ve always been a bit of an outlier in my family).

I’ve always been a student of human behaviour, and more importantly, personal development and human potential; but like you, I’ve been quite surprised at how compliant the western world has been. Perhaps decades of conditioning about all the dangers out there in the big bad world… it’s as if they have all given up seeking answers and just want to be told what to do so they can continue sleep walking through life.

The end of year audited Crown accounts released on Tuesday illustrate how the coronavirus pandemic has shaped the Government’s spending, with a record $22.8 billion spent on health, a 14.5 percent increase on 2020.

A breakdown of COVID-19 costs shows that in 2021, $848 million was spent on managed isolation and quarantine (MIQ), $375 million was spent on vaccines, $280 million on testing, and $119 million to purchase personal protective equipment (PPE).

And despite the Government imposing a fee on returnees in MIQ, only $124 million has been received, paling in comparison to the almost $1 billion cost of the operation. There is still $59 million in unpaid fees.

The Government has borrowed significantly to pay for its response to COVID-19, with total borrowings at $162.6 billion, $9.8 billion more than last year.

Net core Crown debt has increased by $18.7 billion from $83.4 billion in 2020 to $102.1 billion in 2021. As a share of the economy, net core Crown debt increased to 30.1 percent of GDP compared to 26.3 percent of GDP a year earlier.

  31. Same day as the planned anti-lockdown protest.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/entertainment/2021/10/covid-19-super-saturday-vaxathon-to-broadcast-on-three-on-october-16.html
A special broadcast dubbed the ‘Super Saturday Vaxathon’ will air on Three on October 16 in a bid to boost the uptake of COVID-19 vaccinations across Aotearoa.

The broadcast will be run similarly to New Zealand’s iconic fundraising Telethons and was announced by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on Tuesday.

It will feature Newshub presenters including Mike McRoberts, Melissa Chan-Green, Patrick Gower and Oriini Kaipara, The Project’s Jesse Mulligan, Kanoa Lloyd, Laura Tupou and Tony Lyall and other well-known New Zealanders and health professionals live from COVID-19 vaccination sites across the country.

“There will be prizes locally for those getting vaccinated, information from experts on the safety of the vaccine and some healthy competition between towns and regions,” said Ardern.

Oh goody, Gower and co, such fun 🤮🤮 //

    • I would rather stick forks in my eyes than watch Paddy Gower and Jacinda doing a cutesy ‘Vaccine Telethon’!
Do they really think people want to spend their ENTIRE Saturday watching Siouxie Wills smugly lecturing us??

    • ā€œThere will be prizes locally for those getting vaccinated, information from experts on the safety of the vaccine and some healthy competition between towns and regions,ā€ said Ardern.

There is a reason why you can’t build a standard house on an empty section in a day, a week, or even a month – TIME. The concrete foundation alone usually requires 30 days per 25mm of slab thickness, to dry and harden. This is before all or any other time factors, including testing, remediation and preparing of the site, not to mention council consent, even before you build the house itself.

So if some charlatan says they can build a standard house on an empty section in a week, or a month, you know they are cutting corners.

There is a good reason why it takes 8 to 15+ years to get a vaccine developed, tested, and certified – TIME
Even before you go for certification.

      You have to test for:
      [1] Side effects.
      [2] Interaction with medical conditions.
[3] Interactions with other drugs and medications.
      [4] Interactions with supplements.
      [5] Interactions with food.
      [6] Interaction with Pregnancy.
      etc etc.

A good example of this is Propofol – an intravenous Anesthetic. Something I am very familiar with having been the recipient of it for an extended period.

Propofol is an intravenous (IV) sedative-hypnotic agent that can be used for initiation and maintenance of Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) sedation, combined sedation and regional anesthesia, induction of general anesthesia, maintenance of general anesthesia, and intensive care unit (ICU) sedation of intubated, mechanically ventilated patients.

From research to certification took 14 years for Europe and 17 years in the USA. Propofol has serious interacts with a minimum of 178 drugs and up to 330.

      https://www.drugs.com/drug-interactions/propofol.html

But the Covid-19 vaccines ? A few frigging weeks. Temporarily rubber stamped under emergency provisions:

“Yeah boys, go for it. Fill ya fucken boots. Hawk it off all over the world. Bully, Co-erce and Blackmail people to get it over the line.”

“We’ll worry about if it kills people later. Hell. we don’t even know how many drugs, medications or medical conditions it will interact with. Could be 250, or 1000, we don’t know. So make sure you get the buyers to sign off on the no liability cause. And don’t bother to check for other medications or co-morbidities. Jab everybody. Jab babies in their cots if you want.”

“Oh and it is not a vaccine. It is a live mRNA thingy. Probably has massive side effects, but what the hell, by the time the shit hits the fan we’ll be in the Canary Islands. Anyway dead people can’t sue us. And if there are class action that will come down on the countries themselves.”

So if someone tells you that the Covid vaccines are effective, safe, with no side effects, they are a charlatan. Because no-one actually knows.

However research away from the paid narrative, already reveals there are dozens of reasons and medical points as to why the vaccine is wrong and unsafe. Fools rush in where angels fear to tread.

Ardern has said we can make picnics, so those specialty chairs & tables would be part of the picnic package; bearing also in mind how the Melbourne tradies made rapid bench tables & chairs, blocking a street, when they first started their protests.

We need to be ready to support business’s that will not support the vax passport regime.

    • It wouldn’t surprise me since Covid-19 is a blood cell parasite engineered to cross species. Any why would they not stoop to experiment on Gorillas and Lions given they stooped to experimenting on humans.

And being similar to the blood cell parasite malaria, it is easily dealt with by Ivermectin and other anti-parasitical treatments.

  36. Governor Abbott Bans Vaccine Mandates by ANY Entity in Texas

ā€œThe Covid vaccine should always remain voluntary and never forced,ā€ Abbott said.

ā€œAbbott issued an executive order stating that no entity in Texas can compel receipt of a Covid-19 vaccination by any individual, including an employee or consumer, who objects to such vaccination for any reason of personal conscience, based on a religious belief, or for medical reasons, including prior recovery from Covid-19,ā€ the governor’s office announced.

California Bans Small Off-Road Gas Engines, Including Lawnmowers and Chainsaws

California moved one step closer to ending reliance on fossil fuels as Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a new bill into law on Sunday to ban all off-road gas-powered engines.

The new law requires the state to apply the new rule by Jan. 1, 2024, or as soon as regulators determine is ā€œfeasible,ā€ whichever date is later, according to the bill.

The bill served as one step in the governor’s California Comeback Plan that includes a strong focus on climate change initiatives.

  38. Migration added a net gain of just 353 people to New Zealand’s population in August

That compares to a net gain of 7364 in August 2019, before border restrictions were introduced due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the 12 months to the end of August this year there was a net migration gain of just 2382, compared to a net gain of 72,461 in the 12 months to August last year.

The net migration peak was 91,680 in the year to Match 2020.

  39. WHO’S PAYING ALL THAT TAX?
Total taxes collected rose +20% in the year to June 2021 above the year to June 2020. Income taxes from individuals rose just on +10%, those from companies rose +53%, and GST collected rose just under +20%. There would have been very few workers or companies who saw their incomes rise at such a handsome rate in the same year. Taxes on interest income fell +35%, whereas taxes on dividend income rose +84%. All this data is revealed in the Tax Outturn detail released today.

    FASTER IN THE SLOW LANE
ANZ reports that their Truckometer is seeing the Light Traffic Index up +6.4% in September from August, while Heavy Traffic rebounded +13.4% on the same basis. But both are still well below both 2018 and 2019 September levels. And as ANZ notes, differing regional lockdown restrictions mean that the Truckometer indexes are unlikely to be a reliable GDP indicator in the near term even if they do confirm substantial weakness still.

A THREAT FROM A LOCAL ECONOMIC MAGNET
In Sydney, there are reports that the State’s top bureaucrats have advised the incoming state Premier to consider opening their borders to migrants, and seek an ‘explosive ‘ 2 mln more immigrants over a five year period to kick-start a period of sharp growth. Apparently, he is taking the advice seriously. (And if it is acted on, it may well suck in many skilled Kiwis, not to mention those from other Australian states.)

  40. Look, just back it down a notch.
In many situations consistency is a celebrated trait. It shows an ability to maintain a standard, to accurately produce the same result time after time. This can be a good thing.
So when you look at Kiwibuild, fees-free, provincial growth fund, tree planting, child poverty, mental health, green investments, and transport infrastructure you can see why Ardern refuses to set targets for Covid.
