  1. Good morning YSB beautiful true bloods…
only 2 3/4 hours until my 12 hour shift is done, and go get some much needed beauty sleep while you slackers get off to Church!
There has been a picture floating around the interweb, supposedly of a person in Takaka having convulsions and dying after their vaxithon shot…..can anyone verify that?
Have a shiny non 5G receptor day 🙂

      • Takaka suffers small town gossip syndrome badly, once i farted outside the top shop, by the village green id shit myself and by the brigand i was in icu with ruptured stomach and by waitapu bridge id died.

Id take anything reported from their in the same way id believe the podium of truth

    • This is shark chump. To get the milk weaned fighting amongst themselves for the vax needle, double, triple boosters. A few months of denial of full concupiscence, and many people would fellate a donkey to get their freedom back.

    • Good morning all pureblood where ever you are. I have a click and collect at Bunnings today yayayay. Can hardly wait FFS what is this absolute crap we are doing? BGR that last post is very frightening. So early in the morning too. No one should ever be refused medical help. All I can say to that man is Go FCUK yourself, no one else would want to you nazi bastard.
Have a lovely day out there, poor Aucklanders its your 9th week of being in a suspended state of ????? How many businesses large or small can sustain that? Its all very well for the parliamentarians and government workers of any sort they are still receiving full pay. And they are the bastards that have the control. Pretty hard living on 80% of pay with mortgages, rates, power, petrol Etc Etc. Rising food prices are another huge item for families.

      • Thanks Lizziep. I have tried both Bunnings and Mitre10 pickup a few weeks ago. Bunnings was a more efficient system and they were friendly. Mitre10 system was pretty hoki and the were acting like Nazis.

    • I guess morons dont see the irony in their comments…

“Human society isnt a suicide pact, if youre too dumb to get the vaccine…”

Listening to talk back over the weeks everytime a vax vs unvaxxed debate erupts about 20% of pro vax callers are all for denial of healthcare to the unvaxxed.

I mentioned on ysb a while back that a mate of mine (not really any more theyve shunned me due to not getting vaxxed) would repeatedy tell me the same, that i shouldnt receive health care should i contract covid 19.
He was taken back when i said yep sure i could agree with that as i made a choice im prepared to live with BUT only on the previso that if a long term health issue arises in the vaxxed then they also should be denied health care due to their ignorance in taking a vax without questioning it one bit.
Needless to say the high horse vaxxed had an absolute hissy fit which prompted me to further add fuel to the fire 🙂 “geez mate you wouldnt be upset if you had faith in the pfizer coursing through your veins”
That was the last in person convo i had with the guy, messages and multiple pro vax links got sent to me and then eventually abuse and wishes for me and my families deaths due to covid. I dont hold grudges and ive tried to make contact but his anger at me is mainly because im fully at peace with the choice to not get vaxxed and zero doubt in my mind about my choice.

Completely unhinged, i also mentioned in a comment last night that a very anti vax couple we know succumbed to the vaxathon because they wanted free rugby tickets, there us clearly some moral superiority side effect with the vax as dang weve been sent some serious propaganda from them along with snapchats of what should happen to the unvaxed (the dude was pissed and punched his way through a large window, wtf)

Absolute unhinged insane behaviour all over a stupid vaccine ffs, i honestly think parts of society arent far off lynch mobs and pitchforks against the unvaxxed.

And your sentence ‘…Parts of society arent far off lynch mobs and pitchforks against the unvaxxed’ may now not be too far from reality, because you can be very sure IMHO, that DL will be planning to use said ‘mobs’ for just such purposes if it suits her agendas.

It’s certainly been known to occur before (Barcelona, Madrid and Berlin come to mind) so why not here?

        We live in ‘interesting’ times.

      • The old days of burning witches at the stake.

It is the way that where I posted yesterday, about the “Back Fire Effect”
        https://ysb.co.nz/have-your-say-913/#comment-185062
Vid set to start on correct place, and about 7 mins will do, and more if you wish.

The doubling down gives the vaxxed so much fear, & so many times pressured to do something. Anything, as that is the only way they can see a head is to pack you into a boxcar cattle wagon & send you off totally out of their lives.
        .
To contemplate that they are wrong, in taking the vaxx puts such a guilt load, of what have they done, not only encouraging family to be vaxxed, but pushing it onto people they did care about,

Now they can not cope, with the thought & the consequences they maybe just a little wrong, as that is not possible as it is so horrendous to think about, nor can they bear thinking about that as guilt will consume them.

The danger becomes greatly amplified so for some temporary relief , that the unvaxxed must be doubly dangerous, as being repeatedly triggered by name calling politicians, techno-bureau-crats & censorious media.

That is where the dangerous incitement hate speech is and how it builds up.

This division has driven deep into politics, for some nefarious purposes,

For others, we must accept they did it out of Choice and did not pressure others,
We must still keep them, as many of those will be opposed to Vaxx Passports and also want Freedom.
Every one of them counts as a voice and counter pressure to the government’s narrative and finding a way out of this terrible bind.

        • I know Alice, that others have taken advantage of throwing their weight around.
Most of it is mindlessly not seeing the effect, and of course getting the concept that has come to be, for the good of the community, so it has to be good.

The experts must know, trust them, trust the science, and the gods of science are in a difficult decision making process, so do not waste time or be hassled.
All achieved by denigrating certain people who seem to bring some challenging points.
So the power hungry, controllers, have taken advantage of it.

Control Freaks are pushed by Fears, that have become obsessive, and blinds them of rational thinking, Just catching a glimpse of alternatives, that then must be totally taken away The Fear reaction becomes paralyzingly uncontrollable.

One gives away Freedom for taking Greater Security but the Fear of not getting that is like a drowning man, will pull down his rescuer, unless the rescuer does it correctly.
Now just who will the Rescuer be? a strong man., tyrant, and where are the principles, like Winston Churchill knew.

          11

          0

          • At this stage the rescuer appears to be Brian Tamaki. He’s the only man with the balls and organisational skills to stand up to the Ardern creature and her lackeys.

The only problem is that Brian Tamaki strongly identifies as a Maori and a lot of his followers are Harley riding tough warrior type Maori dudes who won’t take any shit from anybody. Which is why so far the cops have been too afraid to confront him.

I admire Tamaki for his stand; but at the same time I find it difficult to process that the Maoris might be the only ones with any balls while the whites shrivel up in the corner like pathetic drones.

      • You soon find out who your friends really are.
No problem with differing opinions but once they start that shit they are unfriending you and you should let them go.

You can block their shit on your emails, FB etc.

My 13 year old Grand daughter was here yesterday. That family are non vaxers with Mum probably going to lose her job at school. A new entrants job dealing with all the kids that are abused and beaten and from the scum side of life. A job that no other teacher has ever wanted.
Gd says that at the High School most of the kids are sucked in and just go along with whatever they are told.
As a family they have decided that if the Nazi’s insist and drive them out there are plenty of other options and that school is not the be all and end all for their lives.

My sons DP at high School tried to kick him out at 14 because he stood up against the pricks bullying of others. That prick is still a prick and a broken arsed no body unlike my son who is successful at what he does. So much so the he gets paid more than most teachers will ever soo and has more assets than most teachers will ever have.

Never has NZ had a more divisive society.
The Lawyers in the Nats. have e no idea what to do as they are used to making and following the rules.

  3. Problem is O-s that with the rising prices for everything, most can only afford the high carbohydrate foods. Not a huge meat eater myself I looked at the prices of meat in the supermarket and was shocked. How any family on a tight budget at 80% of normal pay if that, can possibly afford to feed a family on meat and veg? Vegetables and fruit have risen to a very high price. I feel desperately sorry for people. If interest rates rise people are well and truely fcuked

    18

    0

      • That statement “I feel desperately sorry for people” can tell you a lot about the person making it.
        Here are some random hunches:
        – They are virtue signalling.
        – They feel guilt (or have been induced to feel guilt).
        – They are white, middle class (do East Asians and Polynesians care so much about people not in their in-group?)
        – They are a government employee.

        10

        3

      • Because they are stuffed if they can’t feed their families, children are hungry bastards to say the least. I went passed a petrol station 91 octane petrol is now $2.30 a litre. It is OK for me living on my own, I can please myself what I do eat etc, but hardworking people with jobs that have been stopped for what? Families of 2, 3 or more kids must be finding it so hard to afford to feed their families pay their rent mortgages rates insurance Etc Etc. No O-s I am not virtue signalling, I don’t feel guilt, suppose I am white middle class and am definitely NOT a government employee. I am just a grandmother who cares about the future for New Zealanders who perhaps voted for the absolute disaster we have ruling us now or not, and I am pretty sure lots won’t again. But they never imagined the disaster we have now in our once wonderful country. But then who did?

    • Wife has a mate on the dpb, weve never seen fresh fruit or vege in her house (frozen mixed veg at best but zero fresh and zero fruit) its just chips shitty sizzler sausages or noodles, 2 of her kids are same age as ours and also has a 1yr old.
At school the kids have “fruit break” which is a 15 minute slot the whole school stops classwork and eats fruit theyve bought along, be at least 10% have no fruit. My wife used to send along extra with our kids to share but it went unappreciated by both parents and some of the kids who would just bin it so she stopped it.

It started off with wanting a target of 100k first doses then that quickly changed to just 100k any doses so they admitted defeat before it even began. They couldnt have cindys failure being televised for a whole day and only 20% of the target being reached!

  4. I am glad that sites such as YSB and KB exist so it is possible to view and learn from blog entries with different opinions to the daily MSN stories.

A bit worried that these alternative news sites may end up being banned by this current government.

    • Good morning Bert, we are indeed blessed with Eds glorious blog and his approach not to censor any contributors here unlike KB.
I dont have any time for farrar and his moderators but indeed his blog does has some great commentors and debate at times but i rarely venture there anymore due to the knowledge of how much of the content gets removed or moderated it is no better then stuffs comment sections, true opinion is voluntary suppressed as commenters know what will or wont make it past the mods, how can debate be valid when full opinions are not expressed?

What traffic light are we? Does anyone even fucking know anymore??
Jacinda certainly doesn’t seem to know or care- Footage of her repeatedly leaning into people’s cars yesterday breathing her putrid socialist breath all over those families and terrifying the children…Our Queen seems to have forgotten her own rules!

  6. From the pink haired land whale “This was because recipients had to wait three weeks between jabs, and it took two weeks after the second jab to reach peak immunity”

Does anyone else see the problem with that statement? “Peak immunity” which means after 2 weeks immunity has peaked and then starts to decline. This may be the most truth to come from her blowhole.

I do have an old friend who’s refusing the jab that recently turned 83 that isn’t on the net so I’ll have to drop a printed hard copy in his letterbox daily if my mate in Florida gets the clot shot, LOL.

  9. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/10/nebraska-ag-issues-opinion-doctors-prescribing-hcq-ivermectin-covid-treatment-will-not-face-punishment/
“randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter clinical trial” with 180 hospitalized patients diagnosed with COVID-19. They concluded that ivermectin “reduces the rate of mortality and duration of hospitalization in adult COVID-19 patients,” and the improvement of other clinical parameters showed that the ivermectin, with a wide margin of safety, had a high therapeutic effect on COVID-19.”
I have no accurate description of a PM who cannot see beyond bias, self centred pride and her ideological programming.

    18

    0

    • I think the reason Ivermectin is suppressed is a legal one. I understand that the rushed mRNA vaccine can only be used if “no other treatment is available,” to escape liability. The politicians therefore have to eliminate any alternative treatments and place the vaccine front and center stage. Hence the suppression of Invermectin in many countries.

It’s a case of “do what is legal” rather than “do what is best for the people.”

The politicians are hoping that the mRNA vaccines don’t turn out to have statistically significant negative health effects down the road. If they do, governments can still bring the vaccine makers to trial. All entities owe a duty of care, which no contract can be a waiver.

      15

      0

      • Exactly, given the peeps we have had of other countries agreements or not, Phizer essentially had the Ivermectin banned for ever for covid.

And that folks is the reason why her and chippy etc are so hell bent on the course they are on.

It begs the question of the penalty clauses which were included for allowing another medicine.

And we need to find that agreement and publish it.

Then we will see what the politeratzi think of what’s been done.

When they see their Retirement funds gifted to Phizer.

There must be a sleuth out there that can hunt it down. The name of the Lawyers who work for Phizer and the lawyers who did this for Cindy can be found.
        Then we want their files.

got any hackers oversea’s that a real good.
        That’s what we need. ASAP.

        16

        0

        • I recall there are onerous terms that the contract is to be kept secret for 10 years, & Israel had 30 years of silence.
Another fudge so that delays can be pushed about what can be verified or not and who will can even be called to Court. That will consume years of court time.
So a lot more harder to get the signatures, then to prove they are not forgeries, etc.. or some hacker has subtle altered

Meanwhile, the purchaser must also keep the terms of the contract confidential for a period of 10 years.
          https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/leaked-document-terms-pfizers-international-vaccine-agreements/

But the difficult thing is, are those above reports truly bonafide, and can stand up in Court.

It would seem money is unlimited by what is shown, by what the defendants would only call the alleged contract, and that it really forged.

Though a slow application of a vice on the nuts & bolts, should be applied, until all is revealed, but then catch 22, as a confession under duress will be challenged, and all kept sub-judice for years.

Like nasska, I do not think we will ever have Nuremberg trials again, though history may not repeat, but a rhythm of knitting needles developed & the rhyme of the blade, occurred during the French Revolution, where trials & sentencing was nigh on the same day, as the queues were regularly shortened.

          8

          0

      • …..” governments can still bring the vaccine makers to trial”……

They’d have to first find a court to hear the case & you can bet your rice bowl that Pfizer & the rest of the poison vendors have bought them in advance.

Many venues will charge a far larger cancelation fee, the guy should have charged a non refundable deposit to pencil in the date.

Also why does cindy get special privilidges of closed airspace etc? Im guessing its because womens weeklys payment for exclusive coverage will more then cover the cost of the royal wedding

    • A yarn for Nasska…..
Robin Pierson, prior to owning the Bushmere Arms (formerly the Bushmere Hotel) owned the Tolaga Bay Inn.

After taking over the Tolaga Bay pub, Pierson became aware that the locals were in the habit of reaching over the bar and filling their own jugs when ever he left the bar to sell takeaways or check in on the restaurant….as a consequence he removed the bowsser handle and kept it on a lanyard attached to his belt.

A mate owned the Tatapouri Hotel back then and when he and a few other local publicans did a pub crawl up the Coast he took his own bowsser handle with him and would perform the same local trick when Pierson went out back. My mate got sprung with his own handle still in the pump when Pierson returned and got a life time ban from the pub.

      • Tends to confirm that there’s no honour amongst thieves Toko. Never set foot in the Tolaga Bay establishment but I stayed at the Tatapouri a few times in the 70s & early 80s when we carted stock to the Gisborne area. Had good parking for the truck & trailer. Last time I spent a night there it was owned by a couple from the Hutt Valley. Graham (Madson??) & his wife from my rusty memory. Good people.

Was a great place to stay. Super sized servings of crayfish mornay weren’t a common item on a driver’s menu. 🙂

  10. I have it on extremely good authority (by a very senior clinician) that Canterbury DHB have a significant number of staff who have not had a first shot. They are looking at a serious reduction in staff numbers come December 1 when the health worker mandate kicks in. This includes nurses and midwives as well as non-clinical staff like cleaners, orderlies and kitchen staff. It will at the very least disrupt and put stress on already stretched clinical services or at worst, bring those hospitals to a standstill. The government has some real issues come December 1.
Tick tock. Tick tock. Here comes the law of unintended consequences.

    25

    0

    • SC, im sorry to inform you but that is a very INTENDED consequence nothing unintentional about it. They made a deliberate mandate knowing full well that quite a number of staff would not give in and resign.

      16

      0

      • Nah you are giving them far too much credit for that. They have no idea of what the potential consequences are from any of their stupid mandates. I can see them backing down on this just like all their other mandates. No one fully understands how many anti-clot shoters are out there. Looking at yesterday’s “Picnic in the park’ You could say that probably 99% of all picnickers were anti liarbour.

        17

        0

      • The POT made the claim recently that the unvaxxed “just need to be convinced”. No jab no job is the pressure to “convince” those resisting. Cindy’s clown car believes all it will take is a little more pressure. They haven’t considered how the country will function without ESSENTIAL workers.
        Doctors
        nurses
        midwives
        orderlies
        cleaners maintenance staff, administrators
        ambulance staff
        fire service
        teachers
        administrators, maintenance, cleaning, assorted contractors
        parents
never ending numbers in never ending industries…

The numbers unavailable for work are going to overwhelm society, people are going to suffer or die from lack of essential workers.

        18

        0

      • We need them to live up to all they claim, in many aspects, and that includes the consequences!
We just need to be ready to actively report, and agitate like crazy on those all consequences, of non treatment, waiting times, needling into just what they do so they can not pass the blame elsewhere.
So that protests can be an issue way beyond just covid, lock-downs, vaccines, so much harder for the police, media, politicians to just denigrate as crazies, anti vaxxers, freedom huggers,
One day on such issues, then another on freedom picnic etc…. Target them, focus on them.

They pleased a nice number of stirrers about a pedestrian cycle bridge though it cost about 30, million dollars in planning, to show that perhaps better to stop when consequences showed a massive over reach.

They can not even get replacement nurses, doctors, immigration consequences of no visas, then more consequences of choked up MIQuarantine systems, that is with out mass resignations,
No NOT mass resignation, but terminating jobs, by mandatory decree. Make them wear it.

One hospital did that in the States, and the nurses went across to an Agency, that supplied nurses, with no questions asked by the hospital of the agency.

We can choke them, like we should not accept any arrest or proximity or any dealings with an unvaxxed police man.
Same for council staff, etc… or any Health & Safety Inspector, bureaucrat etc..etc..

Plus we need all the health status of those employees, like HiV status, Hepatitis A-D status, Drug Status, and alcohol breath reading as there is a great need of an abundance of caution for our safety.

For those likes of those can we get them to prove that a 100 metre distance is not wrong in these plague times.
If they prove it is not a plague, then there is no reason for any of their laws,
Just as important, all details to be open to discovery, like hospital treatment protocols, the value of PCR tests, first & early treatments being ignored, & denigrated.

  11. An old lady dies and goes to heaven.

She is chatting away to St. Peter at the Pearly Gates when all of a sudden she hears the most awful blood-curdling screams.

“Don’t worry about that,” says St. Peter, “it’s just someone having the holes bored in their shoulder blades for the wings.”

The old lady looks a little uncomfortable but carries on with the conversation. Ten minutes later, there are more blood-curdling screams.”Oh my goodness,” says the old lady, “now what’s happening?”

“Not to worry,” says St. Peter, “they are just having their head drilled to fit the halo.”

“I can’t do this,” says the old lady, “I’m off down to Hell.”

“You can’t go there”, says St Peter. “you’ll be raped & sodomised”.

“Maybe so”, replies the old lady, “but I’ve already got the holes for that!”

……”it looks like their corporate executives made a concerted effort to obfuscate the fact that cells derived from aborted fetuses were used during the research and testing of the COVID-19 vaccine.”……

It’s got me beat. All those anti-abotionists getting in the faces of girls attending legal abortion clinics. The cries of “shame”, the emotive public praying, the placards, the screeching about the rights of the foetus.

Where are the loud mouthed cunts now? All okay with picking on a sixteen year old kid carrying an egg fertilised by her father or brother & at the lowest point of her life but the minute a multi national company is involved the gutless bastards pull their prayer sheets over their heads & hide.

    October 16, 2021 Updated: October 16, 2021

More than 180 first responders in the fire, police, and sheriff’s departments in San Francisco were put on leave amid a rise in some crimes in the city.

San Francisco set a deadline of midnight Oct. 13 for first responders and other city employees to be vaccinated. The San Francisco Chronicle reported on Oct. 14 that more than 180 city employees, including firefighters, police officers, and sheriff’s deputies remained unvaccinated as the deadline passed, and the city was going to put them on paid leave before they may have their employment terminated.

I guess that’s part of defund the police.

    • That professor in part may well be right in parts as the ‘curate’s egg’.
He is genuine and has sacrificed for what he believes.
At least he seems to be open for debate right or wrong, as it is may be an angle, a perspective that may help some else to understand more.

My point comes to the wikipedia write up of him.
Panspermia is interesting for the origins of covid,
Lamarckian evolution, does sail close to the wind of Lysenkoism.

Good to speak up, and challenge, as like wise he will also be challenged.

BUT, it makes one wonder about the fisherman. Is he a gay os a transexual or what?
Is he like clarks supposed spouse just a money turkey?
Was all his sexual exploits just talk?
Have we had anywoman fees up to rooting him?
    The plot thickens.

  14. Re the graphic on this post:

All police must wear a bullet proof vest, and this includes admin staff, plain clothes, and the typing pool ladies. Those who do not wear a bullet proof vest put everyone else that IS wearing a bullet proof at risk.

When someone in the police force is not wearing a bulletproof vest, all police officers who ARE wearing a bullet proof vest will die from a shot to ‘centre mass’ during armed confrontation. As an example, as yet unexplained, the armed defenders bulletproof vests will fail to stop a bullet if at any time an armed defenders member has spoken with someone without a bulletproof vest. This phenomenon is called ADE (Armoured Defense Exclusion) syndrome.

The bullet proof vest manufacturer “Whizzer” denies any allegation that the vests are constructed of Teflon fibres impregnated with Graphene Oxide nanobots, or that this is a ruse to sell more bullet proof vests. They said that if you check on the internet there were plenty of “fact checker” websites pointing out that these were just conspiracy theories.

However a detailed internet search using QuackQuackGo on the (NIS) National Institute of Stealth website revealed that Graphene Oxide nanobots have been raved about for years as a startling new breakthrough component being used in bullet proof vests.

“Whizzer” also denied allegations that the vests are only capable of stopping bullets that match the vests capability, or that as new types of bullets or guns are manufactured the vests require replacement.

Both the NZ PM, Jack Adoone, and the US President, “Waking” Ned Devine denied any allegations that they had received bribes from “Whizzer”.

Also those ppl should remember this in 2 years when the next election is underway and somehow tamihere is spamming them with campaign material.

There is not 1 person in this entire country that has not seen or heard about the vax campaign, its supposedly voluntary (teachers and healthcare disagree) so leave ppl to make up their own minds. Coercion/ compulsion is a disgusting tactic i hope the judge has a bit of common sense and dosent cave to wokeness… i wont be holding my breath tho.

And another perspective that supports that may support what the Pfizer scientist said just below.

      9

      0

        • I have seen comments that there may be a % as saline placebo, so that not everyone is toppling over on the same day,
A Russian roulette, all set at random. So it can phase in on may be the 2nd dose or is now may be the booster shot the 3rd dose or 4th. May be or incidental?

Nor do I like the secrecy in the Contract, and seems to be no oversight, so there becomes no accountability, no audit check, other than maybe temperature tracking & we have seen how those times can be extended, & just what is a “use by date” mean.

How ever I find that may be too far a stretch, as there are a number of companies in the mix and it gets to be too many people in the know in setting that up. though over arcing contacts, share holders, unaccountable money, that the Money Laundering Laws seem by pass as shown by the Panama Papers, Paradise Papers and now the recent Pandora Papers.

Mistakes, Carelessness, no real Quality Control, too much in speed in production, and just plain greed, “gold fever” which has killed many through the ages.

No desire of having lay people checking things, just what is wrong, no inquiry, censorship, suppression, of medical studies on treatments.
The use of fear, creating terror, division

But certainly something seems to rotting in this world, and a number of red flags dotted around the world with what seem to be machinations.
Internationalists, Globalists, Corporations, raise questions of just what do the put FIRST?
Where does our Parties fit in? the politicians? as many over the decades swear allegiance to Global set ups as their FIRST.

So we must put our selves FIRST,
Secure ourselves, so our strength is not bleed out, like through taxes for incompetent dreamers of redistribution.
Then more able to help our selves then others, if you so wish.

        • The way of using “Discourse Consent” in decision making, has wiped out the basis of reasoning, observation, experience.
So it seems to have become a paradisaical agenda to gain Planetary Utopia.

The medical autocracy systems does not allow the practice of the “Art of Medicine” and changed from a science, which is challenged, debated, discussed, made answerable & accountable.

So what to believe in that fog, where truth, fact speakers are not to be part of this so called “Brave New World of Scientism” and collateral damage of injury or death, is not to be weighed up.
No evidence to the contrary is to be produced!

Your Health? the individual’s health, as been total socialized to a global collective’s idealism, supposedly for the great importance of the planet seems to be the most “kindly” narrative.

  17. I am banned from mentioning anything political to my daughter who lives in Auckland. Her appartment is in Upper Queen Street and she just e mailed me this:

Not to mention controversial things – no need to comment anything political on it haha. But MAN it was loud yesterday. Cars (teachers) were protesting along K Road and all the way down Queen Street – non stop honking. We could hear it on the 6th floor so I can’t imagine what it was like for those on the ground floor or 1st floor apartments along K Road. We had to go get something from the asian grocer and even just standing on the road for 5 minutes it was driving me mad. Some guy was going crazy at all the cars and started kicking some. It honestly felt kind of like the world ending/everyone going crazy it was so chaotic.

Dozens of US nuclear lab workers sue over vaccine mandate

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Workers at one of the nation’s premier nuclear weapons laboratories face a deadline Friday — be vaccinated or prepare to be fired.

A total of 114 workers at Los Alamos National Laboratory — the birthplace of the atomic bomb — are suing over the mandate, saying exemptions have been unduly denied and their constitutional rights are being violated by Triad National Security LLC, the contractor that runs the lab for the U.S. Department of Energy.

Parents have babies, and they are usually born with some hopes pinned on them.
The children run, play and develop, even though life is not always straight forward, but they have some form of hope.
Schools supposedly educate to make a living and life, to be able to have some comfort now & again, so hope can work.
Are these people happy? Is all hope gone? Do they want hope? or just the next whatever, syringe, bong?

  19. China’s fires hypersonic nuke ‘right round the Earth’ as terrifying display of advanced weapons ‘leaves US reeling’

US intelligence and military officials were reportedly left stunned after China launched a rocket in space carrying a hypersonic glide vehicle which circled the globe before before speeding towards its target.

The nuke-capable missile missed its target by about two-dozen miles when it was secretly launched in August, intelligence sources told the Financial Times.

But the chilling test has alarmed US officials and shows how China has made astonishing progress on the development of its hypersonic weapons, sources said.

A hypersonic missile travels five times faster than the speed of sound and can reach distances of up to 1,500 miles, with Russia using the technology to build cutting-edge missiles in recent years.

I’m visiting the mainland soon and it will be interesting to compare the levels of mental illness and zealotry.

Love the hermit life, didnt even have cell reception and internet was dial up lol (2009-2012) groceries got delivered via the mail run and nearest house/neighbour was 14kms away…. 🙁 i miss that life.

    • What aspects of a Wellington skill-set would be applicable in Auckland?
You do have a driver’s licence, don’t you? You’ll need a car to get around in Auckland. It’s large and sprawling (like a West Aucklander).
The coffee culture in Auckland is not nearly as sophisticated as Wellington’s. But Auckland has better Chinese food.
We have good sour-dough bread (see “The Dusty Apron” in Glen Innes/ St. Johns). Ref: https://www.thedustyapron.co.nz/

    • A wise person would say that measuring political parties by left or right is like trying to define how good a car is to drive only by how fast it goes.

The true spectrum is not left or right, left being communist or socialist, and hard right being fascist. When people talk about hard right wing they think of Tarrant, Klu Klux Clan, and Hitler lovers.

This is because communism and fascism all belong on the same left side with totalitarianism.

The left is heavy government control.
Hitler, Stalin Pol Pot, Ardern, etc

The right is an absence of government control, or no government control. Which may be perfectly OK if people live entirely on principle, However it leads to absence of structure and can allow the formation or takeover by communists or fascists.

Good leadership based on principles, with limited government is centre. Centre left is socialism, and centre right with very limited government can occur if a rational and advanced Star Trek Federation type society existed, but mankind is not yet that advanced.

Tarrant, Klu Klux Clan, and Hitler worshipers belong to neither left nor right. They are simply law breakers.

      • Well put DylanHunt

At a boarding school, where life seems to be ruled by bells.
I experienced 2 types of house masters.
Having that difference made me evaluate & then appreciate the first one, as for how he managed things to compared to how the 2nd did

The first house master seemed to have a number of rules that were fixed. You were told, and if you broke them you knew what to expect. The punishment seemed to be harsh, with very little lee way, but we knew what to expect.
And you can bet we still tried things on to.

The 2nd house master seemed to create a multitude of rules, & differing ways to who they will be applied to, like a division between juniors & seniors, and splitting seniors against seniors, and then over privileging some juniors.
Seem too often then had to make adjustment of his multi level petty rules that in parts gave privileges and or exemptions, as well as removed them,
Then adjusting and reviewing the milder punishment levels.
Simply time consuming to apply as well. He then would seen to nit pick in that standards were slipping so why are not more punishments dished out.

That is when I could see and appreciate the differences of rule.
The first house master knew his place, as being top dog, & so did the boys,
The system was simple but firm so was able to flow, with great respect given and granted all round.
External exam rates were passes of 80% of the boys in that era.
He did well in his career, made deputy principal, and then head Principal, and I recall the there were some passages in the national papers when he retired.

The 2nd house master had no respect for the boys, and nor they of him.
That division, pettiness, & stress saw the pass rate drop to 20%.
Found out he had been forced out of private school, did temp for a term or 2 then secured that house master for about only a few years.
His career just kept edging down, and I guess he just served out his time.

  25. Morrison Pushes Laws to Bury National Cabinet COVID Crisis Documents

At the state and federal levels, there were legislative mechanisms in place to respond to the public health crisis that is COVID-19.

As these laws and regulations were drafted, the particular disease they would be applied to was unknown, but there was an expectation that such a crisis was coming.

The formation of the National Cabinet in March 2020 was different. No legislative framework had been set in place to establish the body, made up of the prime minister, state premiers and territory chief ministers. Instead, it was formed on the fly to deliberate upon the national pandemic response.

Indeed, the National Cabinet is basically the same body as COAG (the Council of Australian Governments), which is the intergovernmental body that meets to discuss matters of national importance.

However, since the National Cabinet’s inception, Scott Morrison has been asserting that the same secrecy mechanisms that apply to the federal cabinet, should apply to this body.

  26. Nasska…
Put this down here so you will see it…
Re the Tatapouri….Yep that’s Graeme Goodman and his Scots wife Margaret and the same practical joker who took his own bowsser handle to the Tolaga Bay Inn to wind up Robin Pierson. Graham was born and bred in Lower Hutt before going into the merchant Navy as electical/refrigeration engineer and when he sold the Tata, moved down to Nelson. (you will recall that he was always dressed in a pair of white overalls…they were even his Sunday Best)

The new owners struggled like all country pubs with the Police booze blitz’s and again like most of those pubs, it happened to burn down.

Graham died in Nelson a couple of years ago, a few months before he was set to move into a Gisborne rest home. His Aussie based son brought up his ashes from Nelson and we had a bit of a gathering on the Tatapouri boat ramp where his ashes were to be scattered into the sea. There was a roaring southerly and pretty much all of the ashes were blown onto his son and I don’t think much made it to the water… a fitting send off for Graham.

    8

    • I’m sorry to hear that he’s gone. I remember that he worked days as a refrigeration engineer & the overalls.

When we sold up Mrs Nasska & I took off for an extended North Island holiday & one of our first ports of call was the Tatapouri Motor Camp where we stayed for a week. (would have been longer but we couldn’t get an internet connection) The camp manager was a tall Maori guy who told me he used to work in the pub before it burnt down & knew Graham well. He told me then that his wife had died but the old bugger was still around.

      It’s a small world.

      • Nasska….
NZ is a small world. It would be very uncommon for anyone (NZ born and raised) not to make a connection to people known or related when striking up a conversation with someone from a different part of the county.

I was always amazed as a youngster listening to my grandfather, mother and her brothers talking to total strangers making these connections. I remember an uncle talking to a Maori chap on the wharf at Picton while waiting for the ferry. Both were dropping and discussing names that they both knew and I thought from the conversation that they must have been mates. Later when I asked the uncle who he had been talking to he told me that he didn’t have a clue.

  27. The Unvaccinated Are Looking Smarter Every Week

“There is a massive propaganda push against those choosing not to vaccinate against COVID-19 with the experimental mRNA vaccines. Mainstream media, the big tech corporations, and our government have combined efforts to reward compliance and to shame and marginalize non-compliance. Their mantra says that this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated. Persons who choose not to vaccinate are characterized as unintelligent, selfish, paranoid people who don’t read much and live in a trailer park”

    • Thanks Bn, an interesting read of that commentary.

I had it here in New Zealand through a junk of July and right through August into September.
I simply called it the “baby cold” that was hospitalizing many young during that time.

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) I had my nose just constant drip through some days, that bad, I just blocked my nose up with tissue, as the leakage was dampening shirts, and the constant running just made wet spots,
Then also a cough, not dry, but just bringing up some, what I call light mucus that I had to clear from my lungs, and a constant ahem to rid what had crept up. Never too bad, though wary in case it developed more, Bags of high menthol lolly helped.
Not pneumonia, as I know it, having had that in the past, and would have high tailed to the Docs, if it had developed further.
Just stayed away from folk, and more careful not in my shopping, All helped when level 3 came in also.
I think I picked it up by some school kids, then into the parents, though it must have wafted aerosol to get me.

I did wonder if the new additive that they did not “inform” so then I could give “consent” for the different adjuvant that Medsafe NZ this 2021 season, wanted Doctors to tell their patients about, that had been changed in the flue vaccine.

Not taking the mRNA, and consider I may not flue vaccine again, as my trust is gone in the medical system and the Medical Centre of apparent autocracy now.

Too many sneaky things, like putting pertussis in the tetanus vaccine. on the principle is good for young people. Nor can I get a straight tetanus only shot.
Never would have thought a Doctor when questioned would come up with this and this seems to have become the “new normal”. 🙁

      3

      0

      • You can still get standard tetanus shot, well start of the year you could not sure about supply now?
I was doing renos and got a sweet 4inch rusty jolt head nail through my boot and a fair way into my foot, they gave me a choice of stand alone tetanus or the other one (boostrix?) Anyways just got the normal one as kids are past the real danger stage now.
