    • You think that’s bad, WG. I have been told by a sibling that Mr J and I can’t attend their big birthday party because it’s at their house (most likely outside on their rural property)… and we’re unvaxxed. The reason is because they export food items to China, and so have had to mandate that anyone going into their business or HOME must be vaxxed (I wonder if that extends to their employees homes – and how they actually police it!). And they communicated and justified all this in a really lengthy text, and stated that they feel really bad about not being able to invite us, BUT in the end it’s our choice not to be vaxxed, and therefore put our elderly parents at risk, and actually, to be honest, they are really comfortable with discriminating against us.

      Un-Fkn-believable! I am officially a leper with all of my siblings, parents, aunts, uncles, etc. now. I’ve given up stressing about it all and have decided it is actually quite comical. Even more comical is they would love to catch up with me at an OUTDOOR cafe. Which to me is totally double standards. I can’t go onto their rural property, but I can meet then at an outdoor cafe in the city. Tricky little virus, isn’t it? FJA

        • I’ve spent my whole life (stupidly) trying to fit into and please my family. It’s actually very liberating to be disowned by them. And I know they’ll be the ones getting upset and stressed by the fact I’m not complying and that they have no power over me – or ownership of me any more! I’ll be renting space in their head, and will be “present” at the party because my absence will be noted by their friends, and they will have to keep explaining, over and over, why I’m not there. So yes, they won’t ever be forgiven for this by me, and even if they come grovelling to an outdoor cafe of their choice, I won’t be there to meet them.

            • WG, my lovely elderly mother came around here the other day to give it another go at coercing us to take the jab. She was all masked up and looked really afraid of me. She saw our business sign saying “we do not discriminate” and I could totally “see” her mouth set into a disapproving line at such rebellion (even though it was hidden by the mask).

              Yes, I’m trying to laugh but deep down I am hurting and realise how serious it all is.     • Most of NZ’s oil is high grade and sent off overseas. We get imported mid grade oil from overseas to be refined at Marseden point. I may be wrong, but isn’t that where we get our bitumin for roading from too? If so, I can see all sorts of supply problems coming up. 🤔

      • There is another issue the refinery closure is going to bring. Sulphur is an important part of fertilizer in NZ as NZ soils need it. With the refinery being able to handle high Sulphur crude oil, it was a waste product so cheap or free for the fertilizer companies. They will now have to import it at much higher cost.
        Another kick in the guts for farmers, but Cindy would consider that to be a bonus not a bug.

    Right in front of my family, this man drives through the parade hitting as many people as possible while shooting out the window. He ran over several elderly women who were dancing in the parade and many others please pray for everyone in Waukesha

  63. I smell another dead rodent with this traffic light system. Introducing it at the start of the off season for covid in a month or 2 dl will be able to proclaim that the new system has been a resounding success.     In the 1970’s Flora Margarine did ‘research’ that showed it’s margarine cured heart disease. All doctors, governments, newspapers, TV stations and research journals joined together instantly to prescribe margarine for people in general.

    Flora’s research was fake and many patients who were put on margarine died quickly, but doctors (drunk on their bribes from Flora) decided the deaths were a blip. My mother ate margarine religiously for years, dying of a series of strokes. Then in the late 90’s the younger doctors realised it was all a scam and blew the whistle. Margarine is now known to have tons of free radicals, something Flora knew all along.

    The British Lancet published a study with this info in it, and now TV shows teach children the evils of margarine.

    Bridges has the endorsement, with 40.7 percent support, compared to Collins with just 23.2 percent. The rest, 36.1 percent, didn’t know.

    And National voters – where it matters – also back Bridges by a smidge at 41.8 percent, compared to Collins on 39.9 percent. The fact 18.3 percent of National voters don’t know isn’t great news for either team.

    Collins, when told National voters prefer Bridges to her as leader, said: “No, that won’t be happening.”

    Newshub asked her if Bridges should rule out a run.
