  1. COVID-19: Human Rights Commission wants assurance traffic light system will be fully scrutinised
    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2021/11/covid-19-human-rights-commission-wants-assurance-traffic-light-system-will-be-fully-scrutinised.html

Chief Human Rights Commissioner Paul Hunt is greatly concerned at the urgency used to pass the Bill before December 3 – when the traffic light system will start being used throughout New Zealand.

Hunt says because the traffic light system will bypass a Parliamentary Select Committee, it omits Parliament and the public’s ability to review and address human rights implications and Treaty of Waitangi obligations.

The Commission wants the Bill to go to a Select Committee as soon as it is passed and for the public to be able to have their say.

“In times of national emergency, there is a risk of overreach when sweeping powers are granted and rights are not balanced appropriately leading to mistakes that are later regretted. This is precisely when our national and international human rights and Tiriti commitments must be taken into account.

Just over 100 nurses, 14 midwives and 10 doctors have been sacked from district health boards for refusing to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

They are amongst 341 staff who have been told to leave since last week’s deadline for health workers to get their first Pfizer shot.

A spokesperson for all DHBs says 92 staff have resigned and just over 1000 have been stood down while talks continue about their future.

    • Fudged numbers for sure, many stood down, many using up weeks of paid leave, some unpaid leave all to keep their jobs open incase of a backdown, only stand downs and resignations will be counted.

Same with teachers many stood down but ive heard of just as many getting hours reduced to 1 day per week untill end of the year so they can do reports etc. This makes the stats for mandate compliance look far better then they really are.

We wont know full figures untill january and even then the most open and transparent govt weve ever had will do their darndest to hide it.

    • I wonder if any light bulbs will go off in vacsheep heads and make them think, “I wonder why all these Doctors, nurses and mid wives don’t want the vax?”

Kerre McIvor will dismiss then as anti vaxers and all these professionals will be disregarded in favour of the preferred narrative.

  3. Morning kids. Every day I’m grateful to be able
to go to work. Yet, every day I am angry at
how many thousands of good, honest Kiwi’s
can’t do that now, because of an arrogant, corrupt
government fronted by a lying self-centered creature
well on the way to destroying NZ. This is OUR country.
It does not belong in the hands of an immature, freedom
    hating freak like Ardern.

Have a great day and FJA.

With the traffic light system just 10 days away, rest homes and retirement villages are still waiting for guidance about what it means for them.

Many families in Auckland have been separated from elderly loved ones since August and want to know when they’ll be allowed to reunite.

    • The paranoia and fear running these places now is palpable.
      I kid you not.

Most people in there are over 75 because that’s how you qualify.
Do they care if you die.
      Well why would they?
After all that’s how they make all their money.
Selling your unit to the next sucker and scalping 30% of the value for the Business.

Most of these people have already lived through at least if not 3 lots of Sars viruses.
Many are there in the care suites waiting to die and some would just like too.

Sure there are nice people working there but the management are just talk.

        • I do not listen to any free to air broadcasting either Odakyu-sen. I find it is better for my blood pressure and only use instagram to look at some sites. It makes perfect sense as those in public free to air broadcasting follow the jab line of the government. I wish some investigative journalist would actually follow the money here in New Zealand I am certain that all political parties have received great payoffs to their personal bank accounts. Interesting how the greens have shut up about all the my body my choice shit there were on about prior to this covid stuff apart from climate change isn’t it?

  8. Having looked into the V passport, I expect it to be a monumental flop. For starters, teenagers working in cafe’s will become enforcement security guards, let’s see how that goes.

The system they are using only checks the details if online, otherwise it just relies on a freely available public key in the QR code. Even if the checking app is online it doesn’t confirm the picture of the person. All the checker app will show when online is the name and DOB. DOB is a bit of privacy issue. No pronoun checking though 🙂

Stand back and watch it descend into farce and anarchy as the arguments and fights break out at shops and cafe’s.

  9. “Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins both say venues requiring Covid-19 vaccine passes will be able to check them visually instead of using an official app if they wish to.

But the Ministry of Health’s website for the verifier app disagreed, saying vaccine passes would need to be scanned to “allow entry”.”

“Come on love,” I replied quietly, “It’s your mum’s funeral… I’m not that callous.”

  11. An elderly, white-haired man walked into a jewellery store one Friday evening with a beautiful young blonde at his side.

He told the jeweller he was looking for a special ring for his girlfriend. The jeweller looked through his stock and brought out a $5,000 ring. The old man said, “No, I’d like to see something more special.”

At that statement, the jeweller went to his special stock and brought another ring over. “Here’s a stunning ring at only $40,000,” he said.

The young lady’s eyes sparkled and her whole body trembled with excitement. The old man seeing this said, “We’ll take it.”

The jeweller asked how payment would be made and the old man stated, “By cheque. I know you need to make sure my cheque clears so I’ll write it now, and you can call the bank on Monday morning to verify the funds and I’ll pick the ring up on Monday afternoon,” he said..

On Monday morning, the jeweller ‘phoned the old man and said “Sir, there’s no money in that account.”

“I know,” said the old man, “but let me tell you about my weekend!”

    Beer!
‘Of all the natural factors examined here, the strength of the relationship between the regional habit of drinking craft beer and experiencing low adult COVID19 death rates is the strongest. The r-squared value for this relationship (see graph above) suggests that as much as 41% of the variation in adult state-to-state COVID19 death rate can be explained by the relative availability of such beers and ales in the American states.’

  14. The evidence AGAINST the “vaccines” keeps pouring in. I think an IT geek should develop a translation app that translates scientific papers into easy understand language for politicians !!

    https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.12.21.423721v2.full

This preprint is of a very detailed study that found SARS-CoV-2 virions do not infect heart tissue in vitro but that the spike proteins alone damage.

” ..this work suggests that fragments of the S protein may elicit vascular cell dysfunction through CD147, independently from the infection. This mechanism has the potential to spread cellular and organ injury beyond the infection sites and may have important clinical implications. For instance, in patients with disrupted endothelial barrier and increased vascular permeability due to underlying diseases, such as hypertension, diabetes, and severe obesity, S protein molecules could easily spread to the PC compartment and cause, or exacerbate, microvascular injury.”

    • It’s really quite simple. Most published scientific papers have an abstract. This is a brief explanation of the gist of the full report. Having waded through 1,000s of such reports, reading the abstract is usually all you need. If you need more or something spikes your interest, then you can read and digest the full report.

    • My heart is still playing up (irregular beats) to the extent that I saw the doc yesterday after feeling “unwell”. He believes it’s the vaccine, and has seen 5 such cases. My heart has always been strong and regular. I was reluctant to get the vaccine, and only did so after talking consulting doc. I should get back to normal, but it’s a tad worrying. I asked doc why nobody is made aware of these reactions . He had no answer, but it is, of course, obvious.

      21

    • I figure in part much of this research is carefully worded as if it is catching the Covid virus is the problem, & not the vaccine, but then point onto “fragments of the S protein” which seems to be the cover language for vaccine?
It seems that the S spike Protein brings on other co-morbidities, which were under control, or even creates so called co-morbidities.

Thanks Saggy for keeping us informed, and wish for you to come right.
Keep a note book of the timings, vacc dates, Doctor’s names, and summary of their views and start & stop times of any medications or anything else, what you notice.
I found it amazing how when meeting the Doctor again that their notes, seem to not be a true & correct record of previous meetings. Also good when meeting an alternative Doctor.
Having it written up is much more authoritative in having your views being listened when seen referring to it!

    • “I think an IT geek should develop a translation app that translates scientific papers into easy understand language for politicians !!”

I do copywriting/editorial work for IT geeks. Believe me, translating geekspeak into easy understand language for the average punter is challenging. Most writing needs to be aimed at the reading comprehension of 12 year olds for average punters. For politicians, based on how the delusional lassie treats us all, it would need to be aimed at 5 year olds. But the politicians are singlemindedly fixed on their agenda and version of “The Science TM” and “Single Source of Truth”. So no matter what proven evidence you present to the contrary, even if in simplistic terms, it will be ignored.

    • Ross,

…virions do not infect heart tissue in vitro but that the spike proteins alone damage.

This could be compared to trying to find out why a child admitted to a mental hospital, by parents for observation simply because said child didn’t want eat silver beet or go to Church, suddenly goes insane. They spend hundreds of hours analysing the child’s behaviour and reactions to drugs they gave the child upon entry.

They conveniently overlook the fact that when they hooked the child’s head up to the main grid, AHA shock therapy, all because said child was understandably agitated at being locked up, and that the electricity caused damage and short circuits in her brain. Try that shit with your PC and your PC will be fried as well.

The Spike protein is electrical – with a massive positive electrical charge. Of course it will fuck up your body, where ever it goes. It inhibits O2/CO2 exchange, it causes red blood cells to clump together, and hundreds of side effects because the delicate electrical network in the body has been corrupted. And the vaccine is a Spike protein replicator.

“Your are in Africa now. Poisonous Snakes are a real threat. So to get you immune to these snakes, we have put a snake generator in your house, and it will continuously create poisonous snakes, which will slither all over your house. You don’t need to feed them, because you are their food, after they have bitten, paralyzed and killed you. Be grateful we have saved you from wild snakes.”

  15. Some people are happy to tolerate people who have a political opinion that is different to their own.
Other people will want to get rid of them for thinking differently. Why?
    – Do they feel threatened by people who think differently?
    – Because they themselves would get rid of such people, do they assume that such people would do the same to them and so feel compelled to make “the first strike”?
    – Under what circumstances is having a different political opinion an actual existential threat?

    • Many people develop their personal “comfort zone” as a coping mechanism. Nothing wrong with that but over time it becomes a fortress that shelters them from external challenges to their ideas, standards, traditions, whatever.

And we all know what happens when you attack a fortress.

In its latest predictive propaganda, the World Economic Forum asks, “What if extreme weather FROZE your bank account?” It is clear that deliberate interruptions to critical infrastructure are coming, and will be blamed on climate change in order to make the case that an imagined “climate disaster” requires carbon lockdowns and the totalitarian response for which the technocrats have been salivating for generations.

  18. My 90 year old Mum is unfortunately back in hospital, home soon we trust. For the first time since lockdown I’ve been able to visit her. I’m 8 mins away so seeing her every day is wonderful and convenient. I’m lucky, many families are still forced apart by the PMs insane rules and the retirement villages window dressing imbellishments. She’s on a waiting list to get an ECG done, for some reason the machines are heavily booked and mum’s need isn’t great enough and she’s been kicked down the list a couple of times.
Could some one in the various government health departments order some equipment and maybe add some ICU capacity before delta really hits?
It’s an amazing thing that they won’t believe in the efficacy and safety of proven Ivermectin, but will prescribe Panadol for those dying in neglect in isolation.
Is panadol specifically mentioned for this purpose in the End of Life Choice bill?

    19

    • I hope that doesn’t mean the use of paracetomol as an accelerant to a patients demise? In high doses it is irreversibly toxic and shuts the liver down; that is not a humane to end a life.
If it’s just mentioned as an analgesic then a waste of time considering the pain levels of patients considering euthanasia.

      15

    • PAO Seems like swings & roundabouts with your Mum, and now being able to visit and being able to make the most of it, just know you are doing all that you can, and good to treasure those times.

Interesting that ecg machines seem to be too tied up.
Not a good sign, as in recent years they did seem to be much more available.
Staffing may also be an issue, though to do the test itself, is no great skill. There is a check list to go through & to make sure they plug it in the right way. 🙂
The key was the availability and time for a skilled person to read the scan, that can be sent to anywhere there is access to a printer.

All the best for your Mum, and to know, despite frustrations, you are doing the best in these times for your Mum.

You have made me think that Fisher & Paykel Healthcare should be into making these ecg machines too? 🙂
Though I figure there may be a problem about who has control and the price over the patents.

To put that into perspective, it is slightly less than the population of Palmerston North & about the same as Wanganui & Gisborne combined. By contrast the 2011 Christchurch earthquake killed 185 & somewhere between 1500 & 2000 were injured.

Entire forests were felled for the newsprint to report the Christchurch disaster & zillions of electrons were inconvenienced to provide up to date on line information.

The farmer has informed the police who replied that the road was too minor to have a checkpoint. So what exactly is the point? The only people going past the checkpoint are legit. Everyone else just goes another way.

Though I have zero appreciation of Tamaki’s beliefs he has guts & charisma in sufficient quantities to make the Mad Queen’s life Hell on Earth. He also has wealth & the backing of many hard men.

I have been to two local rallies that were organised by an affiliate group of Tamaki’s and lead by their ‘pastor’ or what ever they call him. He did not quite have the oratory ability of Tamaki, but I could not fault his passion and message.

Before last Saturdays march he made an address in fluent Te Reo and asked for our permission to offer up a prayer. In normal circumstances, I would have given both a pass, but in these times I felt they were appropriate. More than 50% there were Maori… they sang the NZ national anthem proud and loud and most carried and waved NZ flags. I did not see a single Maori sovereignty flag and the message from the Pastor down was ‘One New Zealand’ and Freedom from the Mad Queen’s tyranny.

          • Contrary to popular myth, there is not a rise in racism. Just a rise in people being called racist by wankers who have a vested interest in dividing & conquering.

Maori may yet lead us out of the mess the socialists are determined to make of NZ.

  30. Edith has just sent the following Kiwiblog post to Mrs Rissole. She makes a very interesting point…

    Lucia Maria

GBNews on youtube has provided excellent commentary on the absurdies being foisted on mostly the UK, but also around the world.

They interviewed a psychologist who referred to research on protests, with the most important points being:

    1. Riots, civil disobedience, etc are counter productive as only the able bodied can participate;
    2. You only need 3.5% of the population to say no for change.

So, massive peaceful ongoing protests are the way to go. They also need to be in Wellington, I think.

  31. 61380 pfizer doses donated to the islsnds were sent from nz stock not direct send from pfizer, whats the chances our govt have counted these in our vax tally?
Dylan hunt has already highlighted discrepancies with the numbers and this will only add to that further.

    https://fyi.org.nz/request/17271-covid-vaccine-donations?nocache=incoming-67094#incoming-67094

Over a million doses donated too… at x$ per shot nz taxpayer are taking it up the arse

Has anyone got the time to cross reference the dates the govt sent the vax with nz vac stats?

  32. Why the hell are ACT groveling round in the dirt apologising to Queen Ardern?
Those ‘offending’ comments about Ardern were very mild compared to what Labour themselves throw at Collins/Bridges etc on a daily basis in Parliament…

    • “Simon Mount, the council’s lawyer, claimed during the hearing this month that some of her comments included describing the Pfizer vaccine as an “experimental shot” and that lockdowns and face masks were futile.”

The Pfizer shot is experimental —what does he think a EUA is ? There is plenty of evidence to support the suggestion of lockdowns being futile ( look at Auckland !!) and face masks being useless. If that is all he has to argue about then Dr Sam should win hands down but politics will get in the way, no matter what she argues.

All I can say is GO SAM !! You have lots of support.

    • Yes.Another appalling decision.
It is a political decision .
Never thought I would see the day when New Zealands legal system would be so politicised.
Years ago when I was involved in Environment Court issues and council issues I started to see it and quickly lost faith.

  33. would someone give this stupid arsewipe a brain transplant.

Bishop said it was not that some of the aspects were not justified – National generally supports mandates – but that the laws proposed needed more time and scrutiny, citing comments from Government legal advisors over the short timeframe.

Covid has been in the community since August, and since the elimination strategy failed the Government had no back-up plan, Bishop said.

  34. Legal academics have been particularly aggrieved by the Government’s seemingly unnecessary haste. Writing for the Spinoff today, Andrew Geddis of the Otago Law School says the legislation is too important to be dealt with like this: “A bill that allows the state to say ‘put this in your body or else largely forgo social interactions’ should be given time for proper scrutiny and debate” – see: In rushing through the ‘traffic light’ legislation, the government has failed us.

Likewise, Victoria University of Wellington law professor Dean Knight has come out swinging, labelling Labour’s latest manoeuvre a “constitutional disgrace”. He has explained that “Legislative change seriously implicating rights like this needs much more time to breathe, to be interrogated and for its legitimacy to be built through dialogue.”

Chief Human Rights Commissioner Paul Hunt has stated that the process is “highly problematic both constitutionally and in terms of the state’s human rights and Te Tiriti o Waitangi obligations”. As a remedy, he wants the Government to agree to set up a retrospective select committee to scrutinise the new law and how it works.

I guess where the rubber meets the road is this.
Nothing can be law without the signature from the governor General.

Where is that person on this?

That person is Kiowi’s bastion of last resort against Constitutional Outrage.

Will that person stand up and be counted or has she already been bribed and paid for?

      • There is actually some real quality in the Nat’s line up but you just have to look further down the list.
I have a lot of time for Bridges and Reti, but Goodfellow and Collins etc need to fall on their swords..
Grigg, Stanford etc need to be more prominent-And way more vocal in opposition to the Mad Queen!
Young women only vote for young women (a sad truth but incredible the Nats haven’t figured this out yet..)

          • Mate I’m not Anti-Vax or Pro Vax.. (I’m not jabbed myself but I literally don’t care!)
If you want to get rid of Ardern- who I honestly believe is pure fucking evil- you need to be more flexible in your thinking..
Reti would make an excellent team with a well-spoken young woman who would pull in the female vote…(*Remember if the Nats are dumb enough to put Luxon in charge they will get viciously attacked by our ‘woke’ media and take an even worse hiding at the next Election)

Good technically, but since the nats support the ‘jab ‘ what was the point? Nothing has changed and the soeech gave the impression of dancing on the head of a pin instead of making unequivical statements such as ‘ National will immediately repeal ALL covid legislation passed by this government etc. etc. AND MEAN WHAT THEY SAY!

Otherwise, the nats BOD might just as well start amalgamation-talks with labour

BECAUSE THERE IS NO DISCERNABLE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM OR LABOUR!

The nats party currently have NOTHING to offer that is in any way different and to think otherwise is IMHO to be incredibly niave!

Perhaps national oarty MP ‘s need to start asking EXACTLY what their values atpre and excpactly what they stand for, since at the moment, they appear to have none and stand for very, very, little

      Thank you.

The chairman of the House Judiciary Committee Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) is urging the Department of Justice to charge Kyle Rittenhouse after he was found not guilty by Wisconsin jurors on Friday on all five counts in the deaths of two men during Black Lives Matter protests and riots in Kenosha in August 2020.

  37. By keeping the international visitors out until mid may it indicates that vaccine passes will be discarded at that time. 6 month expiry. They are a product of making NZ into a red light district and since she promised it it must happen.

  38. Mallard plays controlled opposition, because the actual people voted in to be the opposition are so piss poor / bought, he has take the roll of being the soft resistance. Pathetic.
    We fooked.

Speaker Trevor Mallard has lashed the Labour Government for its urgent passing of Covid-19 “traffic light system” legislation, though he has allowed the law to be passed.

    In response to Braybots @2045

This proves my point perfectly; That a LABOUR MP should run inferrence for a totally weak and impotent nz national party has to be some sort of first in NZ politics, especially as Mallard has a long-time loathing of all that the nats USED TO represent.

When do the ‘amalgamation’ / merger talks begin? It would seem to be only a matter of time…
