  1. Trudeau can’t pull that earnest ‘Mother of the Nation’ face like our SLG can, and he hasn’t had a baby. Rank amateur.

  2. He is definitely a few sheep short in the top paddock, Ardern, Trudeau, and Macron are the worlds “Three great pretenders of this time”.
    There problem is time to prove any leadership qualities, have they ever surfaced?
    Remarkable resemblance in trio in this area. Would have thought all three trained from same hymn sheet.
    The dressing up like Indians in India, dressing like a Sharia doll to conform.
    They both either have mindless minders or are hopeless at reading their constituents. A few people will think this groovy and rad, the majority will sit and think,” what the fuck are they doing, leaving home brainless.”
    On a positive note, Canada might need the surplus trees to make paper bottles that actually don’t leak.
    I don’t like to wish ill tidings upon people, but if one these three where to impale themselves on a metal straw like the poor woman the other day, the irony would a real “Gotcha moment” $1 million fine caught with metal straw, no pissy $100,000 fine, let’s get serious. People will look back and think it is all fiction novel.
    Thats it off to pub and dinner.

  3. I got an email yesterday from Simon Bridges asking for a donation so they could get some action on social media.
    I emailed him back that they need to up their game and go more right, before I would help them again.

    • I have already given them 5$, so by my reckoning, I have helped reach 750 people, is that right, based on 50$ to reach 7500?

    • I got the email asking for funding/donations, after the rant about taxes on cars to subsidise EVs , saying it was just yet another tax. I replied saying it must be a joke email, even though I agreed about the car tax, because I had just read the NZH headline about Bridge’s saying the Government moving the ETS time frame was a back down. The ETS is the worst tax of them all –so he cannot have it both ways and he is unlikely to get my votes.

  5. I see Stuff and Genter are on about our road toll again.
    According to their charts we do seem a lot higher than Sweden and Norway and even the UK.

    I think the first thing Genter should do is publish monthly the causes of each fatality.

    Eg last month in the Bay Plenty three Filiipnos were killed at a railway crossing.
    What I have heard through the grapevine is that they were following another car and wanted to keep up with them and had got stopped at the crossing, so the driver overtook the parked car in front of him and his car got stuck on the rails!

    So the cause would be
    Tourist / Asian driver
    Stupid driver
    Train

    • Don’t imagine there are too many Asian part time workers in Iceland nor in Norway. False premise that they are using. Don’t imagine they have drugged up Maori killing people either.
      While I agree with the thrust to fix bad roads that isn’t going to happen without the roads being upgraded to a better standard. Wider, barriered and so on. The Tga Kati road is a National disgrace as if the Whangarei road.

    • We watched the Aussie ‘Booze Patrol’ tv programme last night where Aussie police roadside test for alcohol and drug impairment. The Aussie police have been roadside drug testing for years and it seems there is no reasonable argument for JAG to be delay introducing roadside drug testing in NZ.

    • Housing NZ recently bought a primo park in a nice middle class area in Whangarei, and not only do the residents lose their decades old park, they’ll have the best neighbours in town soon. HNZ paid 30 million- a private developer would have paid many times over that. This will be a classic “there goes the neighbourhood” scenario. Hoodies, burn-outs, welfare queens, stray dogs, etc. I feel gutted for the long-time residents there having this forced on them.

When I’m watching Parliament tv and during question time, soundbite cindy is stuttering out her umming and ahhing replies, the camera shows Mitchell in the background with a smug self-righteous wobbling/nodding fucking head, in full agreement with the verbal diarrhoea the SLG is spraying about. What an A grade tit.

  7. Climate Change Emergency

    ttps://interactives.stuff.co.nz/2019/07/407-and-rising/

    After the push back on talk back yesterday Stuff must be feeling the pressure.
    They’ve just done a very good graphic which shows why they think there’s a climate change emergency.
    I will have to study it so that I can pull it apart.

    But my first take away from it, is that the world is not going to meet the Paris targets. So we’re doomed (not teally)

    But as I have said before leave NZ and China alone, we produce mush of the world’s food and China produces everything the world uses. Clothes, tvs, phones, toys

    Target useless breeders countries like India, Nigeria, Uganda, Palestine, Pakistan Bangladesh, Niger, Egypt all with growing popualtings in countries with no resources that prodcce nothing useful for them or the world.
    Yet they all all want cars, tvs, heaters and water.
    They need a one woman one child policy NOW if the world is going to get near its Parsi target.

    • Let natural selection run its course in dysfunctional 3rd world countries. We have young folks in NZ brainwashed to not have kids because of “climate change.” Right- so let’s all die off? Idiots. Nature will take its course when these kids grow up.

    • I enjoy the countless Stuff articles on our impending doom. Nothing needs to change, and nothing will. We will continue to drive gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles, farmers will go on doing what they do best, most of us will eat meat whenever we want same as we do now, and air travel is only going to increase. Paris 2015 was a huge con, and the statistics just a few years later prove it. Eat reality and choke on it greenies!

    • Had a quick look at it. The worst piece of alarmism I’ve seen for some time. Stuff are really “trying” to drive down the value of their business. I know the Aussie owners want to ditch it but at this rate no one would want to touch it.

    • Lets refute each statement one by one. “Earth’s atmosphere has more carbon in it than at any point in more than three million years” .So effing what. The earth is 4.5 Billion years old and at 540 mil years there were 7000 ppm. Life started to thrive in that environment.
      “The amount of carbon in the atmosphere is directly correlated with the average temperature”. At the moment Co2 is correlated with temperature but LAGS by between 800 to 1000 years. A LAG cannot be causative. If we look at the last 540 mil years there is absolutely no correlation between CO2 and temperature.
      “That is why we are living through a climate change crisis. ” The only climate Crisis is the morons that produce this pseudoscience where the models have been tweaked to show a CO2 forcing. The big red 1000,000 with the large 407 is misleading as they can’t actually show 407 as a slice in a pie chart. 1degree on a pie chart represents 2,777 ppm, so 407 would be 0.14 of a degree.

      Note they interchange Carbon and Carbon Dioxide.

      look as these diagrams https://scied.ucar.edu/carbon-dioxide-400-ppm-diagrams The 96 ( 100) pixels of the 240,000 represent Co2. Our crisis is supposedly because we added an extra 25 (pixels) or so to the total volume.

      Now read some REAL science https://notrickszone.com/2019/07/16/nasa-giss-surface-station-temperature-trends-based-on-sheer-guess-work-made-up-data-says-japanese-climate-expert/

      • The sad thing is that the white race with declining fertility rates was actually on track to achieve a lower, more stable and sustainable population level in virtually every white country (I include Japan in this too) while the black and brown hordes have been breeding themselves to catastrophe. The greatest insanity has been continually feeding these people with foreign aid and even worse letting them swarm into our countries which they will now wreck.

    • “The amount of carbon in the atmosphere is directly correlated with the average temperature.”
      – Looking at the graph the correlation doesn’t seem particularly obvious. It’s far more correlated with solar cycles.

      They keep pushing this nonsense when in actual fact the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere follows the changes in temperature caused by…..wait for it…..THE SUN!

  8. I travel between home and Timaru regularly.

    A long, boring two and a half hours each way – always made longer by slow, inconsiderate, lowlife bastards who won’t drive near the speed limit and even more inconsiderate scum who won’t pass the first bastard or get the hell out of the way to allow considerate drivers to do so.

    Now the pushbike riding scum mates of your current clowns want to reduce the speed limit.

    Be warned, if this government is not removed soon stables, blacksmiths and wagon manufacturers will become very important industries indeed.

  9. Trudeau has been in the political spotlight for longer. If Ardern gets that length of time then yes, she easily could match or exceed Trudeau.

    You can already witness the start of it; the media can only cover the cracks for so long. They tried covering for Trudeau and were successful for a while (and they still try).

  10. Perfect way for Greens to solve their Climate Apocalypse themselves

    Have a look at this link for a simple and easily implementable policy solution (unlike all the CoL’s policies to date) for all Greens to take a real leadership role with fixing their Climate Catastrophism.

    I’m betting not one of the smug asshats would walk the talk in this way! And BTW any guesses on which see you next Tuesday in Parliament did the most air travel? Gun City have recently opened a branch in Motueka by taking over an established well liked small independent gunshop. A good many people I know are boycotting the Hunting & Fishing chain because of their crawling capitulation to the government’s firearms ban so more Gun City shops is nothing but good news as far as I can see.

        0

        0

    • I loved this report when I read it.

      It seems having a gun shop near a school is a problem.

      Leaving aside the fact that NZ licensed gun owners are the most law-abiding group in New Zealand and probably the most policed, I can only assume the idiot complaining is worried five year olds are going to duck in and buy a pistol or bullets for the one in his backpack on the way to school.

No real consequences Aunty at 95 taking about it last week. I guess there are many countries that don’t vaccinate and todays air travel is very successful courier of all diseases.
      Not sure what answer is, do migrants that land here all have compulsory vaccinations as kids have had?

        0

      • I’m a decade and a bit younger than you,Wombatge. Like you I remember all of us getting the measles. Once, I was due to go on holiday and came down with measles. I was taken to the doctors. He shone a light in my eyes and said: ” did that hurt?”. I said ”no.” He took a draw on his fag and told my mother I would be OK as long as I drunk plenty of water.

        Don’t get me wrong…. measles can be, and is, a fatal disease, and maybe we were a little blase back in the day. But I don’t remember the hysteria around this disease that is present now. If forty percent of measles cases are winding up in hospital, then I wonder if our physical constitution has declined in the intervening years?

      • No requirement to attend these confiscation events, the amnesty runs until the 20th December until which time we are perfectly legally entitled to retain possession of our “prohibited” firearms. I hope the police are prepared for the huge number of gun owners who will be turning up to hand over their guns on the 18th and 19th of December. It might just break the system and wouldn’t that be a laugh!

    “If Jacinda Ardern wants to correct the mistakes of the past, she will increase benefits by 50 per cent at least next year. That is the only way to end child poverty, and it will lead to follow-on increases throughout the work force, so the average person will at last see a pay rise too.

  12. Maori, the laughing stock yet again. Nothing but parasites.

    Hat tip Hobsons Pledge…

    Media release – immediate release

    Brash: Iwi climate change legal action absurd

    “Legal action by an iwi leader against the Government alleging “failure” to protect Maori from climate change is the height of absurdity, Hobson’s Pledge spokesman Don Brash said today.

    Climate Change Iwi Leaders Group chair Mike Smith said he filed proceedings in the High Court because the Government was failing in its duties under the Treaty of Waitangi to protect Maori, who were particularly vulnerable, from the “catastrophic effects of climate change”.

    Smith wanted the courts to declare the Government was failing unless it reduced total greenhouse gases by half by 2030, and to zero by 2050.

    “In 1840 when the Treaty was signed, nobody had even heard about climate change,” Dr Brash said.

    To suggest that a treaty made almost 180 years ago, guaranteeing the same political rights to all New Zealanders, also assumed that the Government has some kind of special obligation to Maori in relation to the climate is just silly, he said. “

    https://www.tvnz.co.nz/one-news/new-zealand/government-releases-vision-integrating-drones-into-everyday-kiwi-life

    “New Zealand has an opportunity to be at the forefront of drone technology with sectors like forestry, agriculture, and conservation already harnessing their abilities,” Mr Twyford said.

  16. FIFTY SHADES OF GREY – (a husbands point of view)

    The missus bought a Paperback,
    down Auckland City way,
    I had a look inside her bag;
    T’was “Fifty Shades of Grey”.

    Well I just left her to it,
    And at ten I went to bed.
    An hour later she appeared;
    The sight filled me with dread…

    In her left she held a rope;
    And in her right a whip!
    She threw them down upon the floor,
    And then began to strip.

    Well fifty years or so ago;
    I might have had a peek;
    But Mabel hasn’t weathered well;
    She’s eighty four next week!!

    Watching Mabel bump & grind;
    Could not have been much grimmer.
    And things then went from bad to worse;
    She toppled off her Zimmer!

    She struggled back upon her feet;
    A couple minutes later;
    She put her teeth back in & said
    I am a dominator !!

    Now if you knew our Mabel,
    You’d see just why I spluttered,
    I’d spent two months in traction
    For the last complaint I’d uttered.

    She stood there nude & naked
    Bent forward just a bit
    I went to hold her, sensual like
    and stood on her left tit!

    Mabel screamed, her teeth shot out;
