  1. RIP NEW ZEALAND FREEDOM

Died 2359 2 December 2021 of fear and socialism. No family was in attendance, although the NWO visited to administer the ‘last rites’ and to participate n the post-death wake.

Today is the first official Vaccine Passport day: The day when dl and her cronies (and Karen and Ken ) will no doubt do their ‘little dances’ of victory and congratulate themselves on how easy it all was.

Take care my fellow non-vaxxers, and keep safe; we live in dangerous times.

    • Oh you wait.
Nothing is ever easy, including excluding all your friends and mates and your social circle.
Looking for a plumber to come fix your blocked dunny. Not being able to find one because you have excluded them by your own foolishness. Its going to happen. Then the plumbers will double their already outrageous charges. (ha).

We all already know of family groups that won’t talk to one another and that disease will spread all around the community.
Soon only the unvaxxed and those that want freedom will be getting around. The rest will find themselves in a mental prison.
Once they find suddenly that no their best mate or friendly rich relative decides that actually they don’t want to be harranged or pestered by the foolish then they will start to feel isolated , much like they are trying to do to us.

The old saying blood is thicker than water will start to impose mind games on them and from small, beginnings Oak Trees Grow.

It will take time but the longer term reaction will be vicious.

      Till the next time.

    • Komata, and the dumb fuckers who designed this so called COVID Passport, could not even design then as a credit card size so those who choose to print them off and laminate them, can not fit them into their wallet.

Disclaimer. I won’t get one, so this is only heresay and from what I have seen.

    • The following e mail is doing the rounds, you may well have seen it already:
      Date: 28 November 2021 4:55:12 pm NZDT

DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT OUR BILL OF RIGHTS PROTECTIONS NO LONGER APPLY? On Wednesday our Government rushed through a piece of legislation that effectively takes away all of your protections under The Bill of Rights. There was NO consultative process. The opposition were all stunned. Amnesty International were stunned. The Human Rights Commissioner was stunned. There was NO consultative process with the people (well 48 hours when it should have been months). Quote… Speaker Trevor Mallard has lashed the Labour Government for its urgent passing of Covid-19 “traffic light system” legislation, though he has allowed the law to be passed. The Government on Wednesday passed legislation that would seriously curb the freedoms of unvaccinated people, in a 24-hour session of urgent lawmaking to ensure the Covid-19 Response (Vaccinations) Legislation Bill was in place for December 3, when the new “traffic light system” of Covid-19 restrictions will come into force. Opposition MPs, legal experts and the Human Rights Commission have all condemned the move as poor lawmaking, and law professors have questioned the Government’s broad drafting of the law. “There has not been a more important piece of legislation passed by Parliament this year, yet we’ve done it in 24 hours without consultation,” Victoria University law professor Dr Dean Knight said.

I have just received the following from a friend whose opinion I value. See what you think:

      Hi,
I am not sure that you should be accepting that the Traffic Light Law passed last week, was passed Lawfully.
As I understand it from our Constitutional boundaries all law must meet the conditions / be within the parameters of the Bill of Rights, based on old English Law and other constraints.
John Locke of 1688 BoR passed 1689 and before that the Petition of Rights circa 1628 replaced by the UN Human Rights Commission circa 1947 among others.
Where is the Social Contract in all this? — “forgotten” — “the consent of the people,” vanished with no opportunity to make a submission even though they were not going to listen even if there was one. Labour with no mandate to pass Totalitarian dictats, disregarded and burnt up our constitutional articles, the articles, that protect the Freedom and Property Rights of the Sovereign Individual. They behaved akin to Hitler with the Reichstag Fire.

Suggest you read John Locke 2nd Treatise on Governance Section 149 from memory for starters if I am correct, to try to understand the Westminster Government structure. As I understand it the Legislature is supreme with the Executive and Judiciary subservient to the Legislature. The Legislature is powerless but has a Fiduciary Duty to the Sovereign Individual.
So basically as I see it last week the Ardern Labour Government declared war on the people of New Zealand. What happens after that, well as I see it we now have anarchy or mob rule in place.
Because the BoR and other Constitutional constraints are in place to stop what happened last week. They are not to be discarded without the approval of the people, simply because they are in the way.
Those who are speaking out including Mallard know that what happened is wrong, worse Illegal and the Government of the day cannot discard these Constraints at the will of a corrupt Government. In doing what they did last week they destroyed the last vestige of Trust in Parliament. This should be seen by all as a Constitutional Crisis. These people at the coal face did nothing to stop it. Instead National created their own crisis and took their eye off the ball. They are as culpable as the actors who undertook this dastardly action.

These weak people who have spoken up now, are just covering their arse — in fact they are betraying the people of New Zealand because they did nothing to stop it. At best I guess they have spoken up and not hidden. But what are they doing about correcting the corruption?
Mallard as speaker for one, at the very least, should have ruled the passage of the Law as Unlawful and sat back waiting to see where the Axe dropped. Dishonest to not do so at the very least.
We can be pretty sure the Governor General will ratify the unlawful law passed because she is a wet put in place by Ardern.
It appears we only have “patience” according to Locke — We have to wait out the current term and our chance comes at the election to replace with a new Government.

Luxon, if he had any balls and good Legal advisors, should be creating a Constitutional Crisis to address the corruption and wrong doing. But don’t hold your breath.

      • Here’s a better idea for Chris – If elected in 2023 or sooner a National led Govt will pass a retrospective law making it a criminal offense to pass a law in contravention of the Bill of RIGHTS, punishment is 10 years imprisonment no parole and no trial required just evidence of voting for such legislation.

        • If a significant percentage of voters are happy to sacrifice freedom for perceived safety, then we will have a lot more restrictions, checks, and IDs in place to “save lives.”

There will be no studies or reporting on whether the “lives saved” have actually benefited society or whether the “safety measures” have led to more deaths of productive-age citizens.

          • This is the most draconian government and opposition that has been since the dark ages. Lives have not been saved. A woman I know was admitted to Waikato hospital double jabbed, with issues with her heart, had them for a long time prior to this covid farce but the ward for heart patients is full to overflowing, with patients in the corridors. Wonder why that is do you think???? Fja

  2. So Doc, who really can’t manage fuck all at the best of times have now excluded those that pay their wages from using all Doc facilities.
Do we get a tax refund?
Same with the councils. Do we get a rates rebate for the facilities we are no longer able to use.
I note our lot haven’t closed the bat ramps yet.
Luv to see them do that.
Their would be a hanging at the fish scale.

Some Karen has already potted her and she has had a visit from the Police telling her to remove the sign and threatening her with a $14000 fine.

Some things could be put out like dumb bells, in “take away” “library” style for that hour in the carpark?

Can the police confiscate the dumb bells, that is escalate the situation with dumbbells in their hands. 🙂
Will the police reclassify dumbells to being dangerous

Maybe tie it in as “Flash mob” style?
What will the police be able to do?

  3. someone asked last night about whats happening to our dollar.

    DIPPING (MORE) NEGATIVE
The total trade deficit in the September quarter shot up to -$6.3 bln as imports surged and exports sank. Some of that is stocking up for the holiday season. That follows a +$0.5 bln surplus in the June quarter. For the full year to September, the deficit was -$8.6 bln and that was split -$4.3 bln for the goods trade, and -$4.3 bln for the services trade. What has blows this overall deficit out has been the jump in the services deficit, particularly for tourism and education. The rise in vehicle importing, especially from Japan, has been the other big mover.

    NEW RECORD HIGH
Even though export volumes fell -3.0% and import volumes rose +3.4%, the prices we got for those exports rose faster (+4.6%) than the prices we paid for our imports (+3.8%). That means that our terms of trade advantage lifted. In fact they have lifted +5.5% over the past year to a record high in a series that dates from 1957, almost 65 years ago.

So although we earned more for what we exported we still spent 6 billion more than we earned.

Robbo’s Accounting Services are in full swing.
NMind you apparently this is acceptable for about the last 40 years or more and then we wonder why we can’t build and buy houses, why we have such big mortgages.
Kiwi’s are not wealthy as a nation.
We are actually in the poor house. Broken arsed by politicians who never understand a bank account.

  5. According to the NZH, Hauraki Iwi are demanding those that may feel unwell (or may not even feel unwell) to stay out of the area they inhabit. This goes for many other IWI, Northland, East cape and on and on.

Who the hell are these early settlers and canoe people to demand that the taxpaying public do as these Maori demand. I hope the public of New Zealand tell them to get fucked and move around the country at will and ignore these self opiniated puffed up tossers.

In fact, while not being a violent man, if any of the public who get stopped and don’t agree with these thugs, do stop, get out of their vehicles and punch their lights out. my day will then be made.

  6. Employment above its maximum sustainable level with 98k out of work

While the September quarter unemployment rate came in at the surprisingly low 3.4%, that still left 98,000 people officially unemployed. So with the Reserve Bank assessing employment as being “above its maximum sustainable level,” does that mean the policy wonks at the central bank want more people to lose their jobs?

    It’s not quite that simple.

“The Reserve Bank interprets the term ‘maximum sustainable employment’ to mean the highest utilisation of labour resources that can be maintained over time,” the Reserve Bank said in 2018.

“The maximum sustainable level of employment is not directly observable and can vary over time. This makes real-time estimates of maximum sustainable employment (MSE) highly uncertain. In addition the Reserve Bank has a limited ability to affect the long-run level of MSE. Given these limitations, the Reserve Bank does not have a specific numerical target for employment, unlike for inflation. Instead, the Reserve Bank monitors a wide range of labour market indicators to form a holistic assessment of whether the economy is currently operating at MSE.”

from her job. All because she had the courage to say ‘no’
to the foul bitch Ardern’s illegal mandate for ‘vaccination’,

      Gone. Just like that.

  7. Albert Einstein attributed his brilliant mind to having a child-like sense of humour. Indeed, a number of studies have found an association between humour and intelligence.

Researchers in Austria recently discovered that funny people, particularly those who enjoy dark humour, have higher IQs than their less funny peers. They argue that it takes both cognitive and emotional ability to process and produce humour. Their analysis shows that funny people have higher verbal and non-verbal intelligence, and they score lower in mood disturbance and aggressiveness.

Not only are funny people smart, they’re nice to be around. Evidence suggests that having a good sense of humour is linked to high emotional intelligence and is a highly desirable quality in a partner. Evolutionary psychologists describe humour as a “heritable trait” that signals mental fitness and intellectual agility to prospective mates. In studies of attractiveness, both men and women rate funny people as more attractive, and cite having a good sense of humour as being one of the most important traits in a long-term partner.

Well I tend to agree with that.

    • Saggy, having listened to that soft cock Coster this morning obfuscating, I am now of the opinion that he sits down to pee. He obviously has no balls and is totally dictated to by his good friend John Hadfield.

Hadfield and his alter ego Harawira, was he not the one who broke lockdown rules last year and travelled to Auckland during the first Lockdown to visit his sister when no one was allowed to travel. What a hypocritical arsehole and if this is the quality of Costers friends and the people he panders too, then Plod will rapidly descend further into an organisation that deserves great ridicule.

Their vaxx status, and when was their last test, and being negative.
Also all their medical status, Hiv, hepatitis, tuberculosis etc., etc.,

      That includes the police.

If I have no right to ask, then they have no right to ask!

        • 90% of stats are made up. And that is a statistic.

One could also assume that the question “Do you have your vaccine pass?” applies only to those that have a right to a vaccine pass. After all it says “your” vaccine pass.

If the question was posed, “Do you have A vaccine pass”, the percentage may even be lower.

The figure of 74% is meaningless, as it is not clear as to whether it is 74% still do not have their vaccine pass despite qualifying (i.e. not yet received) or refuse to get vaccinated and therefore cannot get one.

This is what happens when ‘The Question of the Day’ is prepared by a mental retard who cannot think or visualise of all the possibilities the question entails.

So we don’t know if the 26% are simple victims of incompetence or or people staunchly refusing to be vaccinated. Technically, I could not have answered either Yes or No, since not being vaccinated, I do not ‘have’ a pass irrespective whether I have received it or not.

Australian Doctor Robert Brennan from the Covid Medical Network Interview
    https://rumble.com/vptg7l-australian-doctor-robert-brennan-from-the-covid-medical-network-interview.html
    1 hour 3 minutes : November 26, 2021 : Interview by Maria Zeee

Dr Robert Brennan was suspended for speaking out against the government’s narrative.
Dr Brennan is now part of the Covid Medical Network and joins us to discuss an ethical, psychoanalytic and political philosophical perspective on the pandemic.

See’s the system going to the “social credit” system as it becomes “the normal” so people forget the old life, and that stays in “perpetual emergency” because of so called “endangering threats”.

Profit, Power, Global interests, what does inspire this global philanthropy & what is its philosophy? that is taking up the concepts of “Build Back Better”, for their different purposes and not so good motives, that take advantage of a situation.

A way for some to enhance their prestige, status, that drags down liberty, using the monstrous “precautionary principle” that has taken precedence over liberties, over protests, free speech, that then rules our lives in so many ways.

Can the people understand the “human rights” principles subverted to being vaxxed, passports, QR codes, and then the suppression, the tracking, and the phase to the trap being sprung.
Is that not worse than the virus. Really just how bad is the virus, as it distorted by the death attribution rate.

Works through some of the Great Barrington Declaration.
Noting a key part, to protect the “at risk”, but it is their choice, “If they wish”.
A good weighing up just who has the risk, and choice, as the government changes., re-defining of terms.

Vaccine Program, driven by PCR tests, case numbers, not free but a debt on the population.
No business of government, it should be the Doctor with good info & patient.
No obligation to take vaccine, as so leaky, and so it is nonsense to have for the good of others & the crap of harming others.
But there is no discussion, all is suppressed.

AI, controls, the digital over running of people, & how he understands it will come through at different levels, possible the hospital, medical system that has built up feeding into so in many other levels, becomes a very religious way of life.

Freedom, responsibility is a life of risk, so it is important we have choice.

      • Beorn
Braybots nemesis posted this last night and if anything is going to put a spanner in the works of the mandate it is going to be this. If Andrew Little/Medsafe/MOH were not aware of this confidential Pfizer report they should be by now. If not ended, a death by injection of any person with one of the many underlying clinical conditions outlined in the Pfizer report who took it just to keep their job and who had not been properly informed of the risk, will make Little etc criminally liable.

I looked at the Medsafe site a few weeks back for information on renal bleeding disorders and the injection. The only reference there was advice that a person with a bleeding disorder should bring it to the attention of the vaccinator.

The released Pfizer report shows that up to 28/02/21, 23 people died with a renal adverse reaction to the injection. Imagine what the true updated number of deaths would be?

My wife, with a very rare renal bleeding disorder asked her DHB to sign a certificate stating that the Pfizer injection was safe for her to take before submitting to it. Any wonder they refused to sign it. It cost her her job because she would not take an injection that they refused to certify as being safe for her.

        Welcome to Ardern World.

    • Pfizer seems to be chasing the money, profit, to jab the children in New Zealand.
      .
Is it just a coincidence that deaths among children have increased by 62% since the rollout of the mRNA shots (up to 400% in vulnerable children) against the five-year average? …..
…… Furthermore, the increase in deaths began when children started receiving the experimental “vaccine.” …..
      .
……. When considering whether or not to vaccinate children of that age, the CMO (Chief Medical Officers) states that the jab will “help prevent classroom outbreaks and further disruptions to education.”
      .
However, their reasoning has no factual basis; as the jab has shown, it continuously fails to prevent infection or transmission.
      .
Moreover, even Pfizer does not make the CMO’s claim.
Therefore, the government’s argument that the benefits outweigh the risks is invalid.
      .
Furthermore, the jab is risky for children’s well-being.
      .
In May 2021, Pfizer published a 37-page “factsheet” on the safety and use of their vaccine, from which it emerges that 79% of vaccinated children over the age of 12 could expect side effects.
Unfortunately, the government ignored Pfizer’s, and the media refuse to report on their admission because it does not seem to fit their current “political narrative.” …
      .
….. 1 in 312,000 children and teenagers (under the age of 19) with a pre-existing condition have died from coronavirus.
While in 20 months, only 1 in 1.1 million children died of the coroanvirus, who had no pre-existing conditions.

      https://rairfoundation.com/great-britain-excess-mortality-among-children-after-vaccine-rollout/
Sure the supposedly adjust the dose rate for children now, but a leaky & wanning vaxx, is still an unproven therapeutic.
The proven safety point of an HCQ pill or Ivermectin for a sniffle is way ahead of those vaxx’s

    • If New Zealand pushes on with getting children jabbed, one would think there is a bounty on the children.

…. German physician-scientists reported Monday that not a single healthy child between the ages of 5 and 18 died of Covid in Germany in the first 15 months of the epidemic.
      .
      Not one.
      .
Even including children and adolescents with preexisting conditions, only six in that age range died, …..
      .
One would think in New Zealand we are have a bounty on getting children jabbed.

….. “Overall, the SARS-CoV-2-associated burden of a severe disease course or death in children and adolescents is low,” the researchers reported. “This seems particularly the case for 5-11-year-old children without comorbidities.” …..
      https://alexberenson.substack.com/p/huge-new-study-shows-zero-covid-deaths?r=sl8h5&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&utm_source=copy

So what justifies even the concept of this vaxx for New Zealand children?

    • Even though this is back in September, Toronto, the media & autocracy continue on relentlessly.

….. A report quietly released last week by Public Health Ontario (PHO ) tallies the number of people in the province who have presented to hospital with heart inflammation following mRNA vaccination, and it skews heavily towards young people. ….

….. The highlights section of the PHO report conclude with a note that “COVID-19 vaccines continue to be recommended and are highly effective at preventing symptomatic infection and severe outcomes from COVID-19 disease, which is also associated with a risk of myocarditis.” …
      https://torontosun.com/news/provincial/over-100-ontario-youth-have-been-sent-to-hospital-for-vaccine-related-heart-problems

Yes we see there is a tip of an iceberg but, really they are just small things. …… yeah right …
So they continue the chant “safe and effective” which they KNEW they could not know.
Just like in New Zealand, the lying 2 face scum bags!

    • I have found twitter is relentlessly suppressing, censoring much of this and to the sources., even from what one would consider official sources.
There seems to be many like twitter trying to suppress or shut this down.

….. given the FDA’s insistence that mRNA vaccines are “safe and effective” — barely scratch the surface of the damage and deaths caused by these vaccines. “Reports are submitted voluntarily, and the magnitude of under-reporting is unknown,” says Pfizer on page 5. ….

….. three times as many women were damaged by the Pfizer vaccine, compared to men.
There were 29,914 adverse events recorded in women, with just 9,182 recorded in men.
It is not known whether the same number of men and women took the vaccine, but this number exposes the very real possibility of a gender-specific vaccine damage risk that the FDA went to great lengths to cover up.

Anecdotally, most of the neurological damage we’ve seen in people who have been damaged by the vaccine — convulsions, numbness, pain, etc. — has been depicted in women, not men.
It looks like the FDA knows the mRNA vaccine exhibits a disproportionate, gender-specific damage profile that also affects women in terms of spontaneous abortions (also covered in the report). ….

….. This means the FDA knew the vaccine could sicken and kill patients who were later infected with covid. …..

….. Pfizer told the FDA its vaccines could kill people and that it had no information about vaccine effectiveness, yet the FDA fraudulently pushed the vaccine as “safe and effective” anyway.
Pfizer even told the FDA that it had no safety information about use in pregnant women, yet the FDA (and Fauci, the CDC, etc.) all pushed the vaccine for pregnant women, despite the utter lack of safety information. …..

the FDA knew this vaccine would kill unborn babies, but they pushed it on pregnant women anyway. …..

Take your time to read about this criminality.
The criminals here in New Zealand also need to have a full court of inquiry too.

  12. So in Melbourne the meta data/survey company Roy Morgan tracked and traced the phones of those in the city on a Protest day November 20.
    https://www.roymorgan.com/findings/8864-roy-morgan-ubermedia-melbourne-pandemic-vaccine-protests-november-2021-202111300446
That is interesting enough……but when they analysed the data they found a third of the protesters were rich and/or well educated and attendees represented all shades of the political spectrum etc, etc.
Mobile phones are not just a threat but flat out dangerous to your freedoms.
    Metadata – it kills.

Just watch for a minute past Bill Gates short clip to hear Glenn’s take on it. 🙂

Here Reuters Fact Checkers ride to the rescue, to blur the definitions.

      https://www.reuters.com/article/factcheck-coronavirus-gates-idUSL1N2S7292

Like the old definition of vaccine and contrast it to being “just a little bit pregnant”.
It either is, or it is not. Just what did Bill Gates “expect”.
Ok call it a badly leaking vaccine then, where you can still catch covid and re-transmit to others.
The power of the protections wanes, does not seem to adequately cover other variants.

Bill Gates fundamentally reclassified the vax, to a therapeutic, that is still in testing experimental trial phase, that is under “Emergency Approval Use”.
So why is this Covid called to be an “Emergency”? So many people recover.
Some wise cheap early & first treatments would be very helpful too, if allowed.

A vaccine is now so redefined now that my cup of tea with some 1080 could be classed as a vaccine, as it essentially re-hydrates me, and helps my kidneys to flush out toxins & wastes that the body no longer needs.

Do you legally have to stop?
    Can you go around them?
So you stop and have no papers, what can they do?
Can you just wave and carry on?
Is far as I know there is no law to say you can not enter these areas.
It would pay to record these meetings for future courtcases and insurance purposes!

    • Yes Sooty, these arseholes who the unmarried mother is head of, passed this and these are the specimens who can detain you from going about your lawful business.

From Sec 22 of the Amended Covid Response Act 2020:
      Quote
any person whom the Commissioner recognises as being—
      (i) a Māori warden; or
(ii) a nominated representative of an iwi organisation; or
      (iii) a Pasifika warden; or
      (iv) a community patroller.

      Unquote.

It is going to be interesting to see the definition of any of these and what legit identification they will hold.
Mind you they will be easy to identify. A big fat prick in a tee shirt. Around here, they will be a big fat slob, in Mongrel Mob regalia who waddles when they move and grunting is the best form of communication they can muster.

I guess their powers of arrest is going to be interesting, which I am sure they will have been granted.

    5 mins 18 sec : Dec 1, 2021 : Mishaela Daken

In the last couple of weeks there has a been a flood of anger, grief, confusion and fear felt by many in NZ. The announcement of the traffic light system will divide New Zealand into two classes of citizens.

Where are these extreme control measures taking us?

Will you sit and stay silent, or will you rise?

This is how I transmute those heavy emotions & share my voice with you all

P.s thank you to my amazing camera man and film editor who did this all for free on his own watch, patiently applying my constant changes and critiques, bringing to life my vision and helping me birth my truth into the light. Forever grateful. Unfortunately I can’t name him as he has a job & he’s not quite ready to loose it just yet (is this what free speech looks like ?)

Really not trying to convince anyone with this video. If you still see things through a different lense then cool, I still love you. This one is specifically calling on my warriors ❤️

Well done, and all the rest of what she said.:-)

    • Core belief is following hate-speech laws. Alarm bells ringing on full peal. Hate speech is simply speech the listener doesn’t like, complete subjective bullshit. Hate speech has been weaponised by ADL and SPLC over the years. Used to provide a liability shield through attacking anyone the “offended” doesn’t like. The list is growing like a cancer. Feels like a well funded gatekeeping effort. There are many, best avoided. Best source of news is the local butcher.

  20. Mark Wauk at The meaning of History..

“I listened to a portion of a podcast of Steve Bannon speaking with Robert Malone. Bannon brought up an interesting issue regarding the origin of Ominous Omicron. This had to do with something that was widely reported initially—that Ominous Omicron sports a remarkable number (fifty) of mutations, by comparison with other variants, such as the Dread Delta. Could this be a sign, Bannon asked, that Ominous Omicron was an engineered job?

Malone first stressed that Ominous Omicron so far seems way overhyped, and he suggested that this was happening for a political purpose—to justify more repressive measures by the Covid Regime. If so, it seems to be falling flat. Despite constant fear porn in the MSM the only people who appear to be concerned are Dems, according to polling.

On the other hand, Malone agreed that the sheer number of mutations in Ominous Omicron appears to place it outside the main evolutionary development of the virus. While not willing to speculate what that means, he did state forthrightly that that calls for investigation, because it isn’t an expected development by most scientific standards.”

Also it shows it is not just Labour dropping in popularity but it shows the MSM have lost big time.

I see Luxon is explaining why his front bench is not “diverse” being because of the poor result in the last election. Why can’t he just say “we have the best person for the job, end of story”.

“Yeah, absolutely,” Luxon told reporters in Auckland on Friday, when asked if the city should be in ‘orange’ now.

“This sector here is ready for Auckland to go straight to ‘green’, because if you follow the logic of the traffic light system, ‘red’ is for when we have an overwhelmed healthcare system, ‘orange’ obviously under some pressure, and ‘green’ fine. There’s just no logic to this traffic light system at all.

“That is designed for when the country has an overwhelmed health system and by the Prime Minister’s own admission, she’s saying the healthcare system is fine, and we have some of the highest vaccination rates of any city on planet Earth.”

  25. NOVEMBER CAR-BUYING STRONG
More new cars were sold in the year to November 2021 than is any prior twelve-month period. It topped the year to October 2018, with 110,151 new car sales. Car registrations rose to 22,573 in November, with ‘new’ recording 11,214 and ‘used imports’ recording 11,327. Compared with pre-pandemic levels, that is a +16% rise for ‘new’ but a -3% fall for ‘used imports’. SUV’s, especially compact SUV’s, accounts for 73% of the new car segment. Infometrics notes that full battery EVs have doubled their share of registrations since the Clean Car Programme began in July, accounting for 5.5% of total registrations over the last five months. Although diesels have maintained their usual share, hybrids have increased to nearly 20%, and petrol registrations have slipped back from 74% to 68% over the same period.

NordVPN, a virtual private network provider, says analysis of four million payments cards found for sale on the dark web show nearly 50,000 were New Zealand cards.

The company says the 4,481,379 payment cards belonged to people from 140 countries. Of the total 49,668 were NZ cards. NordVPN says the average price of all the cards was US$9.70, with the average price of a NZ card US$18.54.

At 38,429, a large majority of the NZ cards were Visa cards, followed by 6,565 Mastercard cards, and 197 American Express cards. Visa has the biggest share of the NZ market.

NordVPN says 60% of the cards were debit cards and 40% credit cards. Visa Classic cards were 17 times more likely to be found on the dark web than premium cards.

  27. This might be of interest: The law of unintended consequences writ large:

I have recently heard of an organisation (No names) which leases a building from a local authority (Again no names), and has done so for some time. The authority, of course, retains ownership of the premises.

The organisation apparently recently receieved advice from the ‘owners’ to the effect that, from Date X, only FULLY-VAXXED individuals will be admitted into authority-OWNED buildings.

As the organisation inhabits one such building, this means that from the designated date, all and any unvaxxed members will now be automatically-excluded from the premises until they receive the ‘Jab’.

While promulgated with the best of intentions, this ruling (which applies to all premises owned by said-authority), would seem to come within the realm of ‘Unintended consequences’, with the irony being that the authority-concerned has previously been very active in supporting the use of their buildings by ‘Special interest’ groups.

On the basis of the above, I would hypothesise that the organisation and it’s contemporaries are likely to lose a substantial number of unvaxxed members, and indeed some such groups may fold completely as a result.

I am also advised that many other local authoruties are pursuing similar plans / policies.

As I said, ‘Unintended consequences’, and you can bet that dl doesn’t even know – or care…

  31. Germany on Thursday imposed a nation-wide lockdown for unvaccinated residents as officials outlined plans to make the Covid-19 vaccine mandatory.

The European country has been in fierce battle with its fourth and biggest wave of virus infections, which has been exacerbated by the discovery of the new Omicron strain.

In a bid to break the cycle, outgoing German Chancellor Angela Merkel announced in her last press briefing before leaving office that those who are not fully vaccinated will be shut out of all but the most essential venues like grocery stores, pharmacies and bakeries.

Merkel and her successor Olaf Scholz broke the news after crisis talks with leaders from the country’s 16 states, CNN reported.
