    • Have a good day Bon.

      We are winning!!!

Apparently Gayford has built a bunker/garden shed for Jacinda based upon the design of Rissole’s shed in Auckland (Clarke would have found Rissole’s shed on Google Maps. Asshole!). Jacinda’s hanging out there these days amongst containers of weedkiller and spider webs…

The Brig is back on light duties today. The back pain continues to improve… however Rissole can’t physically work (or picnic!) as previously. Rissole has, however, been at the front of these picnics since early last year and earned his field promotion to Brigadier General at these.

So perhaps Rissole is entitled to take it a bit easier nowadays and not rush off to ALL the ‘picnics’?

(Rissoles many enemies claim the promotion was due to a severe lack of alternative candidates, and that Rissole – cunningly disguised as Yasser Crackafat – was the only one bonkers enough to turn up during 2020!)

Bloody Edith arrived at Bunker Rissole yesterday just before lunch. I knew there would be trouble when I saw her 1920’s style ‘flapper’ hat and gaudy billowing dress, brightly festooned with Xmas glitter. As they say “fur coat and no knickers”.

Worse still she had a bottle of Sapphire gin in hand – you know the blue bottle and all those Bombay herbs – had a drink with Fanny and they both took off back to Edith’s house. Apparently Edith was hosting a few of her (probably) tarty friends for pre-Xmas drinks.

According to Fanny the afternoon got a bit messy when one of the strumpets at the gathering got violently ill on Edith’s fruit punch. Worse, the liquored tart made an indecent proposal to one of Edith’s male neighbours!!! I suspect the punch may have been spiked to an extremely high alcohol content by Edith who was undoubtedly half-liquored when she made it.

I’m apparently invited to Edith’s Christmas Party next week.

      What to do???

  1. Good morning all another day in the smiling assassins lockdown hang in there all those who do not have the pass to enter the realm of I’m not sure of what actually. I am sure that the New Zealand press will not be interested in your Pfizer documents that reveal vaccine deaths Viking. Especially if they show a 90 day trial, they have to keep that secret from the masses of Kens and Karens so they follow on with this tyrannical leadership. Unfortunately it will take once everyone looses someone they know well then things will change.

  2. COVID-19 a Pandemic of Fear ‘Manufactured’ by Authorities: Yale Epidemiologist
By Isabel van Brugen and Jan Jekielek

    biggersmaller Print

The COVID-19 pandemic has been one of fear, manufactured by individuals who were in the nominal positions of authority as the virus began to spread across the globe last year, according to Yale epidemiologist Dr. Harvey Risch.

In an appearance on EpochTV’s “American Thought Leaders” program, Risch, an epidemiology professor at the Yale School of Public Health and Yale School of Medicine’s Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, argued that by and large, what has characterized the entire CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus pandemic has been a “degree of fear and people’s response to the fear.”

“Overall, I’d say that we’ve had a pandemic of fear. And fear has affected almost everybody, whereas the infection has affected relatively few,” said Risch.

The useless ones around NZ are fear distributors.

  3. Friday the 3rd of December 2021 should go down as the darkest day in New Zealand’s history.

A day where discrimination and segregation reminiscent of the days of the Third Reich officially began in our country. On Friday, I and many other hard working, tax paying citizens of New Zealand become outcasts in the land of our birth and of our adoption.

In 1987 I visited the home of Anne Frank in Amsterdam and the Dachau Concentration Camp, 16 km out of Munich, Germany. Both are an experience never to be forgotten. At the time I was experiencing my OE as a 21-year-old. Apart from Dachau I visited numerous castles, churches and battle sites, centuries and decades old. The history of them all revealed the depravity, the discrimination and the callous disregard for human life. The violence perpetrated on our fellow beings has not and most certainly will never end, be it physical or emotional, or both. This latest attack on our rights and freedoms is here to stay unless we understand the psychology of the past. It is little wonder there are many who wish to eradicate the facts and figures of history because from it comes the glaringly obvious. The evils of the past are alive and well in the present. The rhetoric and implementation of control and compliance are a copy of the ’30s and ’40s.

How is it that we can be scandalised by the depravity of the Epstein/Maxwell affairs, distressed and appalled at the treatment of the gay/lesbian communities back in the ’80s, horrified by the massacre of indigenous tribes around the world from centuries back to current time, mortified at the segregation and discrimination purported on the Negro and African races from slave days to the ’60s, dumbfounded by the civilian and military personnel lives lost in successive wars, to name but a few, and yet so many sit comfortably with this “soft betrayal” of our human rights under the guise of a “pandemic”, a 99 per cent survivable virus?

I studied history throughout my high school years: within it, much on World War 2 and the rise of the Third Reich. In a classroom, the hate that brought about the concentration camps and the persecution of the Jews, the Romany, the Gay, the Poles, political opposition, religious opposition and enemies of the state, seemed unfathomable, but to visit the Dachau camp, to feel the deep, dark oppressiveness of the remains of this hell hole is still deep-seated within me. It is a hell hole that I could never imagine in my adult years might be seen again, but I fear this is where we are headed: in a soft “we are one” fashion.

We are being told, “It’s for your own good”, “Do it for the team of five million”, “We are the single source of truth”, “You are keeping families safe”, “Take one for the team”, and those who do not adhere to government demands are being cast out of the free and safe societal environs they have known into a no man’s land of ‘no jab, no job, no entry, no standing’. Since when did the citizens of this country think that this is OK? Since they were told to think it’s OK. Sound familiar? Well, it does to me because it is sounding like a repeat of a fifth form history lesson.

My own father was too young to go to war but my husband’s father entered the 2nd great war at its beginning and fought to the very end. He was buried alive at Casino, dug out by another soldier, the only survivor from his own regiment that day. He was lucky enough to make it home, marry and father four children. His sister succumbed to war injuries sustained in the battles of Britain upon her return home. Both born Kiwis, they fought for the freedoms that we have enjoyed since that horrific episode in history.

I have wondered in recent days how they would both view the current battles for human rights and freedoms. Would he approve of 3 of his 4 children accepting the deprivation of our human rights now upon us by agreeing with the government mandates and accepting their “duty” to vaccinate, no questions asked, no research done? Would he approve of the heavy handed, vociferous phone calls and social media comments his daughter and his adult grandson made, stating that hospital beds should only be allocated to the vaccinated and that non-vaccinated should be pushed from their beds? Would he sit comfortably with the same daughter having the medals he was awarded for his service to humanity? I never knew him but I think most definitely not.

Dachau Camp was operational the longest of all the concentration camps, 12 years of hell for all those who opposed the Reich. It is estimated that 200,000 prisoners from 30 countries were held in that camp. It is unknown exactly how many died but a figure stands uncontested at 41,500. Two years after the opening of the Dachau camp, in 1935 this jingle was common throughout Germany. “Lieber Herr Gott, mach mich stumm, Das ich nicht nach Dachau komm” (“Dear God, make me dumb [silent], That I may not to Dachau come”). These words above all else rattle my brain today. It rattles with discomfort, it rattles with upset, it rattles with a fear of history repeating itself.

Today the visitors’ centre official mantra for visiting Dachau states, in part “The Memorial Site is open to visitors. Please have digital or written evidence of vaccination…” The souls of all who died here must themselves rattle at the very idea of this, a repetition of the discriminatory practices of the past. Those who are silent and complicit in these crimes against freedom today may be the survivors for now, but history has a way of sorting out those who spoke out and those who did not, those who passed up their friendships and families and those who did not, those who rejected the fear and control and those who did not, those who stood up and those who lay down, those who said yes and those who said no.

How will history record what is happening now? I pray that it won’t be a description of a 21st century Dachau.

  4. The world is getting scary, What wouldn’t surprise me is, Russia invades the Ukraine and China invades Taiwan.
If ever they were to do this, now is the perfect time while the US is in complete disarray and destroying itself under Biden.

  5. We all need to be hounding the obediant sheep abd asking how great “freedom” is with their newest covid accessory the vax pass…
One needs to point out that a large chunk of nz got more restricted and less free while red light areas theyve declared freedom but no they just got given a select few privilidges. What they got is not freedom in any way, freedom would mean no masks, signing in, vax passes, freedom would mean free to travel anywhere with no silly testing passes or iwi road blocks, freedom would mean you no longer fear your unvaxxed family or freinds and greatest of all FREEDOM WOULD MEAN HAPPINESS! and theres sure as hell a huge deficit in that right now.

  6. So Luxon says that the National Party believe that the Treaty of Waitangi is all about Partnership with Maori and not about Co-Governance.

Well I have a message for Luxon and the National Party.

You can fuck right off if,

    1. You (Luxon & the National Party) obviously can not understand the Treaty of Waitangi.
    2. Do not realise that under Article One of The Treaty of Waitangi, Maori ceeded their rights and became subjects of the British Crown and as such, there is no word of “partnership” in the TOW.
    3. And who is Luxon to interpret the TOW. The meaning and wording in the Treaty is very clear, no interpretation is needed.
    4. And it is past time Luxon and the National Party need to clearly state, there is one Government, one system for this country.

    Hat tip Homepaddock: Quote
Luxon: Te Tiriti about partnership, not co-governance
Christopher Luxon says he interprets tino rangatiratanga within Te Tiriti as partnership, not co-governance, and says New Zealand should be governed under one system.

He said targeted support should be needs-based, rather than based on ethnicity……

  7. The Black Lives Matter Global Network announced on social media there should be no spending at companies owned by white people this festive season, and encouraged people to buy exclusively from black-owned businesses.

That’s all very well, but I don’t think my family will appreciate sitting around the tree unwrapping parcels of crystal meth and crack cocaine on Christmas morning.

  8. Braybots nemesis posted this late last night.

(Slow down the video speed to 0.75 in your settings.)
    12 minutes 15 secs : December 4, 2021

If you can take in the first 5 minutes.
Thanks for doing this video Tepania for doing the video, the bravery in doing that, and hope there is a full recovery for you.

Stallone Edmonds Tepania, registered nurse & mother-of-3 has pericarditis following 2 doses of the experimental serum.

On Thursday the 18th of November Stallone got her second shot.

About a week ago she started feeling unwell, was diagnosed with pericarditis, and is now on 24/7 watch & a number of medications, needing to strictly rest.

When she finally went to the hospital to get help with all her developing symptoms, she found out she was the seventh person that day with this diagnosis.

Social media, fake media & the medical & political establishments refuse to acknowledge people like Stallone and the health conditions they suddenly find themselves dealing with after the jab.

How many more need to suffer before the vaccine roll out is stopped and serious analysis is done?

Note how it was put to her not to mention her condition on Social Media, by NZ’s autocracy, and I wonder how her ‘social credit’ will be seen with all powerful Medical Autocracy.

Note she is hoping her message will stay up on her Social Media, so in a way she pulls the punches on the word V, being J, etc.. and I guess where she seems to become ambivalent, also over just going that people have to make their own decision or her message will be pulled.

    • If you do a search on this woman you will find her all over the local media in 2018 suffering from Guillane Barre. I’m not saying that what she says isn’t true but she sure has had her share of bad luck in recent times.

    • If there is a high incidence of food poisoning after buying Pfizer brand Chicken Meow Chein, which contains cat meat (and through consequences cat parasites), you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to work out that you should stop using that brand.

If there is a high incidence of vaccinated people getting Covid-19 after being injected with Pfizer brand vaccine containing aborted fetal cells, parasites, Graphene Oxide, and the pathogenic Spike Protein, you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to work out that you should stop using that vaccine.

It is about as reckless and conniving as prescribing arsenic to cure Syphilis.

Arsenic – the “Poison of Kings” and the “Saviour of Syphilis”
“It was used throughout history as a potent poison to kill off kings and emperors and facilitate rich inheritances…

…In Renaissance Europe, the art of poisoning came to its fore and contracts to poison one’s noisome neighbour became a social norm. The poisoner made appointments and had set prices, the client named the victim and a contract was made, and the poisoner was paid when the job was done. A family of professional poisoners from the late 15th century were the Borgia family, Pope Alexander IV, his son Cesare, and Cesare’s half sister, Lucrezia. A well known poisoner of the mid 17th century was an Italian lady named Giulia Toffana who made cosmetics containing arsenic, Aqua Toffana, and gave the tainted cosmetics with appropriate instructions on how to apply them to the intended victim. Toffana and her daughter, Girolama, were executed in Rome in 1659 for their complicity in the poisoning death of several hundred men…

…Many others took up this occupation throughout late Renaissance Europe and there was a spate of young, wealthy, married women, suddenly becoming young, wealthy, eligible widows.”

  9. Interest.ing article in how to pose this question.
How to open the eyes of anyone who still thinks Covid vaccines are working as promised
The simplest possible. The public health equivalent of Ronald Reagan’s; ->
Are you better off today than you were four years ago?
The question is this: = If the vaccines work, what’s going on?

Another way of getting that seed of doubt sown into maybe some people.

    • Thanks rol
That is line with the dripfeed Pfizer Report that was kept hidden, noting that males seemed to have the heart problems in their early phase of trials.

The other part of the report is that females seem to have more neurological problems compared to males.
I suspect that neurological problems turn up in many diverse forms, so more difficult to pin point back to vaccine, even if that problem only started after the 2nd vaccine.

  10. Toko posted an excellent analysis of the so far released Pfizer documents by Guy Hatchard yesterday. Here is the link to the article which is essential reading. I just wonder why our MPs are not all over this because it clearly shows NZ has been deceived or worse.

“Until very recently, the document was being withheld by Pfizer who maintained it should be kept confidential. There is a strong possibility that very large numbers of New Zealanders will suffer long term injury as a result.”

The Pfizer Pdf. is here: https://phmpt.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/5.3.6-postmarketing-experience.pdf

  11. Can anybody provide a source for any figures of vaccinated/unvaccinated for those Covid cases in hospital in New Zealand. Having been told it is 97% for unvaccinated by a very pro vaccinate. somehow I doubt that.

    • One would also think if you turn up, needing hospital treatment, particularly if unvaxxed then you will be required to take the PCR test, which at the last Official Information Release said it was operating at over 40+ cycles.
Are the double vaxxed 100% required to be tested?, and what rate are the cycles?

Your initial reason to enter hospital may be very serious, but as a Covid Case it is counted as a hospitalization case for Covid.
Nor do they release data in full, unless they it edit, massage, omit. etc..
The way the systemic hospital collates, means there appears to be a blurred truth that karens swallow, but for many others that the trust has long gone, as goal posts kept being shifted, no real acknowledgement of that,

If the vaccines work, what’s going on?

    • The last figure I saw was about 43% vaccinated if I recall correctly. But bear in mind that unvaxed includes anyone with one jab and those who were vaxed less than 2 weeks prior. Even at this level it could be fudged with different thresholds for PCR or one of a number of rorts.

    • UK figures give good insight as to where we will be in 6 months. The UK Sunday Times posted last Sunday an article that most COVID patients where non V. But they based the article on average figures from Jan to July this year so we skewed due to few being V earlier this year.

The latest figures from the UK show the v non V percentage in hospital is Similar to the v non V in the general population. Of course this could be due to the fact that those who test positive are deemed COVID patiences even if they are in hospital for any other reason.

Even the Economist got it wrong in an October article and after being fact checked agreed that the article was in correct. But of course by then the damage was done.

  12. A 10 year kid playing in a sand-pit, can figure that the number of shiny pants, medals & stars, are so arrogant in their ignorance.

Trump on General Milley telling him to leave the military equipment in Afghanistan:
“That’s when I realized he was a fucking idiot.”

    40 secs

That Arrogance in their Ignorance, comes from “Discourse Consensus” that runs systemically through all our institutions, through out Western Civilization.
We need more to call it out, the Discourse Conversations, the Delphi Techniques, the Suppression, the Censorship,

To bring fun back into our lives, with robust discussion, robust debate, to complete Free Speech, the freedom to offend! to question! to joke

  13. Here’s something else you won’t see reported in the Horrid of Stuffed:

My medical friend on the continent (previously “We’re not safe until we’re all safe”) told me tonight they’re now groping towards the realisation that Omicron has nothing to do with Covid and may in fact be a common cold. He also reckons it’s been around for a lot longer than we suspect.

  14. The party is all-embracing. It rules our lives in all their breadth and depth… There will be no license, no free space, in which the individual belongs to himself. This is Socialism… Let them then own land or factories as much as they please. The decisive factor is that the State, through the party, is supreme over them, regardless whether they are owners or workers.

    Adolf Hitler

  15. After all, that’s exactly why we call ourselves National Socialists! We want to start by implementing socialism in our nation among our Volk! It is not until the individual nations are socialist that they can address themselves to international socialism.

    Adolf Hitler

  16. Is it still true that a non (hospitality /close contact ) business can’t ask for a vaccine pass if all their staff aren’t fully vaccinated themselves, this would include those staff at home for their month of full pay redundancy?

  17. Christopher Luxon drops Collins to 19th place in reshuffle

New National leader Christopher Luxon has released his line-up after taking up the leadership of the party last week.

“I have deliberately selected a Shadow Cabinet of 20 members to match the Government’s Cabinet,” Luxon said.

“We will be a Government-in-waiting that will relentlessly hold this spin-heavy and PR-driven Government to account, and focus on proposing detailed, constructive and intellectually rigorous solutions.”

Re: ‘We will be a Government-in-waiting that will relentlessly hold this spin-heavy and PR-driven Government to account, and focus on proposing detailed, constructive and intellectually rigorous solutions.”

Anyone got a bridge to sell to this guy; he is obviously gullible-enough to actually buy one.

  18. Resigned from Coronal Law , experienced particularly with medical deaths.
The 30 minutes is well worth watching, listening to it.

    30 mins 29 secs : December 5th, 2021

Stephen Kelly is a 28 year police veteran who has spent the majority of his career in the Coronal Law Unit assisting the Coroner with inquests.
He has an excellent understanding of medical practice and the law.

He covers a lot of ground, well read on Covid and the vaxxes, and covers it thoroughly and explains what he knows and what major concerns he has.
Like hardly any Postmortems are being done.
So many simply explained facts, & reasoning, I can not do a synopsis.

If some one can find a transcript to link to?
nasska may be triggered to find in 1 small part to religion, but note he then kicks Popery, Bishops; then the rest is secular.

What does New Zealand Police Coronal Law doing? Do they have any concerns, Do they just declare coincidences?
How many people need to die? before they see a pattern or are they just having in “Discourse Conversation”?

  19. https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/lifestyle/2021/12/covid-19-anti-vaxx-mandate-protesters-rally-outside-auckland-s-lone-star-new-lynn.html
Anti-vaccine mandate protesters have rallied outside an Auckland restaurant, which has become a focal point in dissent against vaccine passes.

The New Lynn Lone Star franchise drew attention after posting a job advertisement on a “No Jab Jobs” website, which connects job seekers with employers “who support freedom of choice”.

Lone Star New Lynn’s actions have led to an outpouring of support from the anti-vaccine mandate community, which held a picnic outside the venue on Sunday.

A Facebook post told supporters to “help businesses say no to segregation”.

“Bring your family, friends, a supportive sign and a picnic blanket – order your meal online,” the message read.

Images on Sunday show a pavilion set up on the grass outside the Lone Star, with pro-Trump flags flying above. Protesters held signs including “Mandates ruin lives” and “No mandate vaccine murder”.

  20. Just been reading “September 12, the third rugby test and final protest!”, by Anthony Phelps
Mainly photos of the third rugby tour of NZ by SA. Red and Blue squads and all that shit!
At the time I had no interest in rugby and the apartheid in SA. in 1981! I didn’t give a shit one way or the other!
Reading between the lines this could be Victoria in Aust and could quite easily happen in NZ!
Reading comments from various places it does make you wonder what happened to all of those protesters of the days gone by?
Are they now all double jabbed, complete with vaccine passport!
Rolled over and become part of today’s compliant society!
Have they joined Ken and Karen ringing the Police 105 number to report people without their papers?
Do they readily except today’s apartheid vax or unvaxed society, which to my mind is not much different to what they were protesting forty years ago.
We can see same show of force in the policing in Australia and the Red and Blue squad police here!
I think it is entirely possible for something to ignite the tinder here in NZ!
What it will be,I don’t know! We do have a lot to choose from, maybe here are some,
Ken and Karen wanting forcible jabbing of unvaxed.
The enforced segregation of unvaxed and placing in camps.
The growing racial divide caused by roadbocks.
Growing unease with the government changes in NZ, by giving away rights of old, enjoyed by all of NZ society and race.
The non reporting of those rights by a bought and paid for media fifth colum.

    • Sooty@1516

Re: ‘…What happened to all of those protesters of the days gone by’?

Nothing; they are mostly still alive BUT as their ideology (Socialism / Communism) is the same as dl’s, you won’t hear a ‘peep’ out of them, BECAUSE THEY AGREE WITH EVERYTHING SHE DOES!

  21. Shit! – did we forget to pick Mikey up from the detox cell again?

He will be starting to dry out by now and is probably driving the cops mad with delerious ramblings about Keas attacking his preachous houses, and some Jews. Before loudly proclaiming he dated Nanaia Mahuta.

    Poor Mikey 😃

  23. If I were to come across a Maori roadblock in Northland, it would help if the blockers didn’t wear hoodies in the hot sunshine, didn’t fly the Maori National-Socialist flag, didn’t have facial tattoos and at least appeared to be professional and with supporting IDs and other documentation.

Smiling and basic courtesy would also help.

  24. Crazy how all the Lefties I knew at Varsity were all “Fuck You I won’t do what you tell me” (RATM) and supposedly Anti-Authority.
But now they are all masked up, diligently signing in and producing ID on demand at a cafe when ordering their soy lattes…

  25. Safe and effective – yeah, right.

The latest data dump into the U.S. Government’s Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) happened yesterday (12/3/21) and covers data through 11/26/2021. There are now 927,740 cases reported to VAERS following COVID-19 shots for the past 11 months, out of the total of 1,782,453 cases in the entire VAERS database filed for the past 30+ years. In addition, we found 2,809 fetal deaths following COVID-19 shots injected into pregnant and child-bearing women for the past 11 months. By way of contrast, using the exact same search parameters in VAERS, but excluding the COVID-19 shots, we found 2,168 fetal deaths following all FDA-approved vaccines for the past 30+ years. That’s an average of 72 fetal deaths per year following all FDA-approved vaccines for the past 30+ years, compared to what is on pace to be 3064 fetal deaths in 1 year following COVID-19 shots.

    • His biggest mistake was living in a state run by a low intellect grease bag like McGowan. At least Berejiklian had a clause inserted in NSW statutes that any adverse events resulting from a company mandated vaccination are the responsibility of the employer for the rest of the employees life.

      • Cheers!

The strategy behind my ‘vaccine pass’ is simple. If we merely decide not to go into businesses which demand a vaccine pass, then we simply won’t be noticed.

BUT if thousands of us presented THIS at restaurants etc all over the country, then this would at least get some TRACTION.

Please download it and try this. And please spread it as far and wide as you can. Thanks team 👍

  26. This guy is really good.
The Initial State: Priors and Biases
We should form and make judicious use of biases we form based on past events. In doing so, we should begin with the simplest and most important observations. Ready? Here goes…

After years of many attempts, vaccinologists had been unable to produce a single functional vaccine for a single coronavirus (and they apparently had a few hundred coronaviruses to choose from, but we can stick with the usual six prior to SARS-CoV-2).

After years of working on the details, scientists had never produced a functioning mRNA therapy of any kind, with many experiments ending in disastrous mortal failure in animal models.

Pfizer is perhaps the most criminal modern corporation in American history, so long as we aren’t going up the hierarchy of corporate ownership. Managing their reputation apparently requires a massive lobbying arm, a revolving door with regulators, and placing people in the right relationships in major media. They’ve also piled up a reputation for “arranging” trials in a way that seems to allow for easiest manipulation of participants.
Moderna spent years fumbling around desperatiely without ever producing a viable product, chasing away top talent in a caustic, secretive corporate culture driven by an apparently psychopathic CEO willing to task others with stealing from a children’s hospital.
But here’s the kicker: it should have been a stretch for anyone to believe from the start that an extremely fast spreading respiratory virus that enters the body through ACE2 receptors, then into the lungs, and then into the bloodstream…would be beaten by an intramuscular injection that produces the wrong antibodies in the wrong place.

Nobody should be shocked that research keeps piling up showing viral loads and infection rates (Salvatore et al, 2021 preprint) looking the same. It would have been surprising for a non-mucosal “vaccine” to work the way we want. Even worse, the forms of “vaccines” we have accepted allow the virus to take root in the body, including in immunocompromised patients who can carry it for months on end, which is likely the driver of variant roulette.
We should have been more skeptical when the self-reported Pfizer trial involved a massive imbalance of exclusions that overwhelmed the effect size, untested suspected cases of COVID-19 that overwhelmed the effect size, and a massive pre-trial testing bias that appears designed to bias results. Of course, we should have known about the Ventavia whistleblower, but we have no real investigative media anymore.
The mistake was entering their labyrinth in the first place.

  27. ‘Dictator Dan’ loses his SEVENTH MP in as many days as the Andrews Government is left in tatters after another shock resignation – as former minister says it’s a ‘sign’ of the state of the party
Dan Andrews’ Labor government has been plunged into chaos after a seventh MP announced she was quitting the Victorian parliament at the next election.

Jane Garret, member for Eastern Victoria, has joined the exodus out of Spring Street in the wake of the furious backlash against the premier’s handling of the pandemic.

On Friday, she confirmed her coming exit and said it was a ‘sign of strength’ within the Labor Party that so many were leaving at the same time.

Her announcement follows Victorian MP Mark Gepp revealing on Thursday that would be the sixth Labor MP in just a matter of days to confirm they are quitting.

Mr Gepp joined Lara MP John Eren, Richmond MP Richard Wynne, Altona MP Jill Hennessy, Ringwood MP Dustin Halse and Yan Yean MP Danielle Green who all announced last week that they would not be seeking re-election in 2022.

On Thursday, the Victorian premier had to rely on the support of crossbenchers to get his controversial pandemic bill through parliament after a 21-hour debate.

The bill sparked riotous protests across Melbourne but will now take effect on December 16 after it passed the upper house by a thin margin of 20 votes to 18.

On Friday though, Ms Garret insisted: ‘It’s a sign of just how strong the Labor Party is when so many people make the call to step aside and give our huge range of talented young people the opportunity to become the next generation of MPs.

‘Today it’s my time to help that shift to renewal. It’s been such a privilege to represent the people of Victoria in both the District of Brunswick and the Region of Eastern Victoria.

‘I’ve been welcomed into people’s homes, their businesses, schools and community groups and I thank each and everyone I’ve met and worked with on the way.

‘Fighting for jobs, equality, social justice and a first class education for all has been the mantra of every Andrews Labor Government MP and it’s been a loud and proud one.’

The premier paid tribute to the Ms Garret, who is Parliamentary Secretary for Jobs, in a statement on Friday evening.

‘Delivering secure jobs and a quality education for working people has always been at the heart of Jane’s commitment to her work,’ said Mr Andrews.

‘I thank Jane for her long service to the parliament and the party. She can be rightly proud of her contribution to our movement and to our state.

‘I wish Jane and her family all the very best for the future.’

With strong opposition to his controversial pandemic legislation and lacking numbers on the Government benches, Mr Andrews had to make a raft of last minute changes to win over key crossbench MPs and push it through parliament this week.

Transport Matters MP Rod Barton, Animal Justice Party MP Andy Meddick, Reason Party MP Fiona Patten and Greens leader Samantha Ratnam voted with the government to make the Public Health and Wellbeing Amendment (Pandemic Management) Bill law.

Victorian MP Mark Gepp has announced he won’t seek re-election next year – he is the sixth state Labor MP to quit within the past fortnight

In the wake of the bill being passed, Northern Victorian MP Mark Gepp took to social media to confirm he would be quitting at the next election after four years in parliament.

‘This job is without question a great privilege and it has been one of the highlights of my 35 year career in the Labor movement,’ Mr Gepp posted on Twitter.

Mr Andrews described Mr Gepp, who was elected to the Victorian parliament in 2017, as ‘a fighter’ who fought for workers’ rights and public housing and who was a strong advocate for students.

‘I want to thank him for his dedication to our party, our parliament, our government – and to working people across Victoria,’ the premier said in a statement.

‘I wish him and his family all the best for the years ahead.’

The Victorian premier recently announced John Eren (pictured) was retiring from politics, saying he was ‘grateful’ for the friendship he shared with Mr Eren, who was the longtime member for Lara, north-east of Geelong

Last week Mr Andrews’ Labor government lost five MPs in just three days, when the Premier announcing former minister John Eren wouldn’t contesting the next election.

Mr Andrews said he was ‘grateful’ for the friendship he shared with Mr Eren, who was the longtime member for Lara, north-east of Geelong.

‘I wish John and his family the very best for the future. I’m grateful for his friendship and support, just as I’m grateful for his contribution to the Parliament, the Government and his local community,’ the premier said.

‘I know we’ll keep seeing him live his values for years to come.’

Mr Eren had worked in parliament for close to 20 years and was a former cabinet minister.

The MP said that having been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease as well as the pressure of the pandemic, now was the right time to resign from politics.

‘It has been two years since I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. This diagnosis along with challenges brought about by the Covid pandemic has made me place a greater focus on my health and well-being and that of my family and friends, to value the ability to spend quality time with them,’ Mr Eren said.

Mr Andrews recently announced the fourth MP, Planning Minister Richard Wynne (pictured), would not be contesting the next election

‘After thinking about my future as time moves on and following discussions with my family, it was with sadness that I today informed the Premier of my decision to not contest the 2022 State Election.

‘When we come to the end of this term of Parliament in about twelve months I feel that will be the time for me to step away and spend my time pursuing other things.’

Mr Eren had moved to Australia with his family from Turkey at the age of six before growing up in a housing commission in North Melbourne.

Mr Andrews credited the Lara MP for his efforts in securing funding for women’s sport, boosting the tourism industry and advocating for Geelong.

Mr Eren’s departure is the latest in a spate of retirements in the lead up to the state election next year.

On November 25, Mr Andrews announced Planning Minister Richard Wynne would also not be contesting the next election.

That came after former Attorney-General and Altona MP Jill Hennessy, Yan Yean MP Danielle Green and Ringwood MP Dustin Halse announced they also wouldn’t be seeking re-election.

Others may also be looking to step down, with Broadmeadows MP Frank Maguire and Narre Warren North MP Luke Donnellan rumoured to be considering their futures.

Mr Donnellan quit the cabinet in October after an anti-corruption hearing heard claims he paid for party membership fees on behalf of others as part of a branch-stacking operation.

The place of former ministers Marlene Kairouz and Robin Scott, who both featured in anti-corruption hearings into taxpayer-funded staff, also remains up in the air.

Labor MPs have been asked to reveal their plans to run by the end of the week, with the national executive to decide on candidates in both houses by December 3.

The exodus has raised fears Labor could lose their comfortable majority – despite a recent Newspoll predicting Mr Andrews remains on track to win a third term as premier.

Broadmeadows MP Frank Maguire (left) and Narre Warren North MP Luke Donnellan (right) are also rumoured to be considering their futures in the Labor Party

A Roy Morgan survey published late last month has Labor leading the Liberal-National Coalition 59.5 to 40.5 on a two-party preferred basis, while last week’s Newspoll has them leading 58 to 42.

Both surveys are an increase on the 57.3 to 42.7 result at the 2018 election, which saw the coalition lose 11 lower house seats including blue-ribbon Hawthorn.

Senior Monash University politics lecturer Zareh Ghazarian said the recent Queensland, Tasmania and WA elections proved the pandemic favours incumbent governments.

‘It would probably be infuriating for the opposition. They aren’t able to make any meaningful inroads at the moment,’ he told AAP.

Dr Ghazarian said while Mr Andrews is a ‘polarising figure’, thanks in part to his 120 consecutive second wave press conferences, there is still time to reset before the poll.

Ms Hennessy, the proud member for Altona in Melbourne’s southwest, was the first to bow out of the next election, which is scheduled for November 26, 2022.

The former Attorney-General and minister for Health, Ambulance Services and Workplace Safety announced the news on her Facebook page.

In December 2020, Ms Hennessy announced she would be stepping away from her role as chief lawmaker to spend more time with her teenage daughters.

‘No matter how precious your family is, politics can blind you their needs if you’re not careful. And life is short,’ she wrote.

‘After some reflection, I came to the view that making the commitment to serve another four-year term was incompatible with the other important priorities in my life, especially if I wanted to give them all the best of me.’

Ms Hennessy said she would always be an ‘ardent cheerleader’ for the cherished communities, leaders and organisations in Melbourne’s west.

She thanked Mr Andrews for giving her the opportunity to be part of a team who delivered ‘life-changing investments and reforms’.
Yan Yean MP Danielle Green (pictured) also advised she would not be seeking re-election

In turn, the premier said the MP had pioneered ‘some of the biggest reforms’ in Victoria including the nation’s first voluntary assisted dying scheme.

Mr Andrews said as Health Minister in their first term of government, Ms Hennessy had been ‘championing immunisation and taking on anti-vaxxers’ long before the Covid pandemic.

‘I want to thank Jill for the work she’s done, her years of service to the parliament and the Labor Party, and her dedication to our great movement,’ the premier said in a statement.

‘On a personal note, I want to thank her for her years of friendship and unwavering support – and wish her, Bernie and their daughters all the best for the future.’

MP for Yan Yean Danielle Green, also advised she would not be seeking re-election, after representing the locality in Melbourne’s northeast for nearly two decades.

‘It has been an honour and privilege to represent the people of Yan Yean and to have served in the Parliament of Victoria, since 2002,’ Ms Green wrote on Facebook.

The MP said she looked forward to a work-life balance that would allow her to care for her husband – who has been battling skin cancer – as well as her two sons.
The third MP to announce their resignation from politics was first-term Ringwood MP Dustin Halse (pictured)

Mr Andrews said Ms Green had fought ‘tooth and nail’ for the people of Yan Yean on issues such as local roads, access to TAFE or vital health and ambulance services.

The third MP to announce their resignation from politics in late November was first-term Ringwood MP Dustin Halse.

Mr Halse described the decision to step down from his role as ‘one of the most difficult decisions’ of his life and said the last three years had been a privilege.

‘The global pandemic has forced us all to think about our priorities,’ he said.

‘And for me, that is looking after my young son, better supporting my wife and extended family, and taking my physical and mental health more seriously.’

The premier commended his efforts in removing two dangerous and congested level crossings as well as his passionate and committed advocacy for his community.

Typical Labour troughers though. Not going un til the election so not motivated by sense of injustice. Scum.

    • They are out there. Got a parking ticket because a bitch did just that on Saturday. Lots of us parked with two wheels on the footpath. (We have to all the time around our fucked up city).Called the council and they sent out a parking warden and tickets lots of cars. Customer told me tonight that her husband went out and told the council slob to piss off as the street was norrow and it was the best thing to do. Nope, she worked even harder. The neighbours know who the bitch is. May her fanny get the rot.

      • Time to make her life miserable if you know who she is. Do stuff that is irritating rather than illegal. We had a dick head science teacher. So we ordered 300 hundred face bricks to be delivered to his house. In those days they dumped the bricks and worried about payment later. Also put an ad in the paper selling his motorbike at a ridiculously low price, Phone the council and cancel her water account. If you know her phone number create an add in some dodgy rag advertising her massage services. Much fun can be had……

  28. Went looking for news about the Nats and their illustrious new leader. Herald nothing,
Stuffed up, way down the pages.
Local rag, telling me Muller is staying.

    Non event for Luxoflakes.

I see that wanker bishop is still there. Noisy useless wanker like Hipkins.

    • The liberals seem to believe that Fauci calling himself “the science” is perfectly acceptable..
Some say it is just like the pope calling himself God, and on some days he probably does.

Both are so to be representatives only

”When the people fear the government there is tyranny, when the government fears the people there is freedom.”
      — Thomas Jefferson

Then also is not the Pope supposed to fear God?

  29. Panicking financial markets could stuff up another global recovery

With prices having risen surprisingly rapidly this year in the US and Britain – but few other advanced economies – we’re witnessing a battle between people in the financial markets, who fear inflation is back with a vengeance and want interest rates up to get it back under control, and the central banks.

  30. On Friday an Ashburton Bakery had problems with protests concerning Anti Vax and had to call the Police.

Today a liar told media that there had not been any issues in the country and Police had not reported any problems.

    Who do you believe ?

  31. “Robertson’s warning to highly indebted home loan borrowers”

Bit rich coming from the guy who’s just borrowed $100 billion, sprayed it all over the place, and is causing the inflation that’s going to bite everyone else on the bum.

But I prefer Cossack Aussies rousing speech to where Dan should kindly go.
