  1. I see Hipkins has made a submission to The Waitangi Tribunal who are investigating the Governments response to COVID 19 and how extremely unfair it has been to Maori.
    .
    Who does this bunch of unelected self important Tossers of The Waitangi Tribunal think they are to expect and demand that a Government Minister write them a nice letter of explanation of why the Government took the actions they did.

    If you or I wrote to the Government or a Minister we would be shuffled off to some obscure bureaucrat who may at sometime, condescend to reply, but if the Waitangi Tribunal says jump, a Minister does.

    The Waitangi Tribunals investigation is into the Governments response and how it has affected “vulnerable Maori”. I wonder when these special people are going to stop being “vulnerable” or is this a perpetual position Maori find themselves in, which they particularly enjoy, as they seem to have made no effort to extract themselves from “Vulnerability”.

    And if these “vulnerable Maori” are doing nothing to extract themselves from their misery of “vulnerability”, then why does the Government and you, the long suffering taxpayer have to pay and pay and continually be beaten around the head because of this perceived position of “vulnerability”. Or should I just ask what has the Treaty of Waitangi Tribunal achieved after all these years and all their enquiries into and for “vulnerable Maori”, why is the Government still funding them and not Maori and what relevance do they have to modern society?

    • I have thought the same thing, recently Alice. If they want us all to carry cards which they could call identity cards to be used for all sorts of reasons why the need to do it through a “health pass card” when they could have got reasonably easy co-operation with an identity card?
      Frankly I think they ( I mean globally not just NZ) are doing this “on the fly’. They had no idea, at the start, how far they could push things based on fear. They have surprised themselves, so now they are like little kids and are pushing further to see how much further they can go.

    • But many of the unvaccinated have vaccinated partners who will not visit hospitality venues without their partner. Also there are many vaccinated people who sympathize with the unvaccinated and won’t visit hospitality venue that discriminate against the vaccinated.

      It will become apparent soon enough whether hospitality continues to suffer.

        I encountered exactly that recently when looking for a venue for an-upcoming Birthday. The restaurant (No names, no location) had a ‘Vaccine passports only’ sign at the entrance to it’s BUILDING, and as one of the potential party is unvaxxed, I asked if it would be possible to sit / dine in the ‘gazebo-type’ structure out the front, between the footpath.

        No chance, although the Manager, after refusing our patronage, DID give me the owner’s card and suggest that I negotiate with him directly.

        At that point it became complicated, so we won’t be dining-in.

        If this is at a small establishment in a small rural town, the effect in larger towns can be imagined.

    • I have had my shots – self employed job preservation if nothing else.
      Trying to avoid using a pass, but work also forces that as well. I avoid places that need a pass as much is I can. Usually when I go into the big smoke, I go to a pub or Cafe for lunch and a change and do some work. I have refused to do so to date so this is costing the hospital industry.
      I am not alone on this as I know of others the same, if only due to the hassle

    Personally in my circle of friends just amongst our families there are quite a few who have suffered serious side effects, Strokes x2, myocarditis x 3, bells palsy x1, blood clots x2 and i dont have a large amount of freinds, seems most families i talk to have a relative thats been a victim.

  44. Last week I emailed Farmlands to give them some grief about their compulsory vaccinations for staff. To my surprise, I received a reply – from their “Customer Resolution Specialist”. It included the usual waffle about keeping people safe and ended with “Nga mihi”.

    • Now euthanasia is legalized in New Zealand, Nurse Ardern will place an order for that, as New Zealand Doctors are healthily purged, NZ will have a shortage of medical staff & Doctors, then this will be slipped in.

      • There will be a shitload of legislation required to alter the law as it stands. The End of Life law which was watered down by the Godaddled National party is so restrictive that I doubt anyone will be able to avail themselves of assisted suicide no matter how great their suffering.

    This was my response:

    • She said she wouldn’t mandate vaccines for children but she also said she wouldn’t mandate vaccines for workers or the rest of us adults. Then she cancelled exemptions.

      Now she is threatening to continue vaccines for years and come out and find us if we don’t go. She has also today said she has ordered health professionals who are working and are unvaccinated to be hunted out.

      This vaccine is still suppose to be a trial phase of experiment, so those pilots would have been ideal as sub trial, no matter what their ages.
      To me the real issue is there is no collation of data, nor weighing it up.
      Obviously if that info takes in people over the age of retirement 80+ then it should it should be shown, and not numbers pulled out of a hat.
      Like Bn & you, we suspect their could be an issue and all that is asked for, that this should be looked into anyway.
      This is seems to be a perfect place where this could be done, if further knowledge of which vaxx, when , etc.
      A very valuable insight would be achieved, as they would have a great history of regularly medically check ups.

      This has become so frustrating, that it loses trust in the whole medical, democracy systemic institutions. 🙁

      These governments are supposed to serve us, but hide behind “abundance of caution” “safety principles” etc… with what appears to be no robust information, data, etc.. using the principle of being in authority as they are wearing the white coat.

  62. Some people like to play their music loudly, so loudly that other people cannot help but have to listen to it. Examples of this would be:
    -Worksite builders’ radios
    – Courier van stereo music
    – Neighbours with their stereos on “stun” and the doors open, out in the back yard
    – Cars at intersections
    – Cars driving through your neighborhood

    Some of these are transient and are gone in a short time. Others last for hours.
    (Note: I am not talking about loud parties. They are a different soicial phenomenon.)

    What sort of people do this?
    Do they simply assume that everyone shares their taste in loud music?
    Do they only care about their own sonic gratification?

    What has been your experience?
    What sort of people to you notice doing this the most often?

    Apart from ethnic music such as the bagpipes, what kinds of loud other-peoples’ music annoy you?

    You know I have been thinking the All Blacks and their backup Entourage all took the bio weapon and I have not heard of any having side effects or falling over as has been prevalent in Europe and the US with over 300 hundred reported cases

    I watched the two videos from Liz Gunn, the first Casey Hodgkinson, and then her mother Anna.
    Casey is an absolute inspiration of what is unfair in this world of greed, Anna and Liz sum it up, what the hell is going on?
    I am an old 70 year old but I had to fight back tears.
    Our humanity is being torn away before our eyes, what for, money I guess.
    These two videos should be compulsory viewing for every person in medicine and politics, but they will disappear very quickly.
