  3. Omicron Unleashes New Wave of Hysteria, With Rule by Decree in Force
    Michael Walsh
    Michael Walsh
    December 13, 2021 Updated: December 15, 2021

After a year of nothing to show for a fruitless battle against a bug that can’t be defeated, Biden has rolled out another more-of-the-same “plan” involving more vaccination mandates on private companies (even though the federal courts are shooting such mandates down on a regular basis), jabbing healthy, crying children, demanding more booster shots of vaccines already proven not to work as initially advertised, and re-instituting travel bans at the drop of a letter of the Greek alphabet. Bonus points: recent tests indicate that Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines are nearly useless against the latest new variant, Omicron.

COVID hysteria is even worse in places like Australia, where anyone who runs afoul of the former penal colony’s current ruling class gets sent to concentration camps. A recent escape from one of these relics of the good old days of “transportation” by three Aboriginal youths who didn’t even have Covid set of a breathless manhunt for these dangerous criminals—all because they were “close contacts” of someone with a “case.”

  4. LA District Postpones Vaccine Mandate as Thousands of Students Remain Unvaccinated
    By Isabel van Brugen

The Los Angeles school board on Tuesday agreed not to require children to be vaccinated against COVID-19 until next fall, pushing back a Jan. 10 deadline as thousands of students remain unvaccinated.

The Los Angeles Unified School District vaccine mandate was postponed after board members raised concerns that students in California’s largest school district could be pushed into independent study, the Los Angeles Times reported.

  5. Its all but over and Robbo tosses out another spend that he has already done.

    https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/covid-19-delta-outbreak-36-hospitals-to-be-upgraded-in-644-million-health-funding-boost/BQWY6H7X7ZGXHGR3JKWFJWANBU/

Over half a billion dollars will be pumped into upgrading 36 hospitals across the country to allow normal care to continue among a potential influx of Covid-19 patients.

The $644 million spend comes from the Government’s pandemic war chest, and includes $100m in capital spending and $544m in operating costs, including staffing to prepare for widespread Covid next year.

The funding will cover new hospital beds and upgrades to intensive care unit (ICU) capacity in some of the country’s most remote and vulnerable regions.

    Meanwhile;
Across the country the funding will add 75 inpatient beds, 23 new intensive care unit (ICU) and high dependency (HDU) beds, eight temporary bed conversions to ICU, and 355 beds will converted to isolation or negative-pressure environments.

Little said through the pandemic there had never been more than 11 Covid-19 patients in ICU at any one time.

    • “Dozens of new beds, hundreds of bed conversions, ventilation upgrades and improvements to intensive care and emergency departments are planned around the country, as the Government firms up plans to spend $644 million to prepare hospitals for Covid-19.

      Great, we’re preparing for Covid-19.

      • Wee bit late with the hospitals spend sycophants since this new virus has shown up, it only makes those with co morbidities ill. It seems most don’t even know they have it. If all the sheep would stop being tested life would move on. But the liebour party don’t want that do they? Fuckers

        9

        0

    • So Viking, maybe I am just a shallow thinker, but 355 existing hospital beds are to be “converted to isolation or pressure negative environments”. Does this mean there are going to be 355 less beds available beds for other hospital functions that are already carried out, therefore less operations etc? I can only assume this, if existing beds are going to be utilised.

Minister Little said on NewstalkZB this morning that the reason why they have not acted on extra beds for COVID related matters before today was because Hospitals were already busy with other COVID matters, haven’t had the time to look at this matter until now, so that is the reason it has taken do long to get this $644 million expenditure sorted. I call bullshit on that and would say the only reason extra COVID beds were not established earlier was because this Government and the Minister are incompetent and because they have recently been put under pressure on this matter..

Further I note that smaller hospitals were not included in this funding. Why, do those areas smaller hospitals service not get COVID either? The fool of a Minister, Little, says “They will be transported to a nearer and larger hospital”. Well where I live that larger (local larger hospital) is 2.5 hours away from the local hospital which I believe already has an isolation bed established but not used for COVID.

However am I also wrong in believing that COVID may be on the wain around the world with new variants less virulent. If this is so, then why spend this money now?

Why is it that that this Government and it’s Ministers and PM never accept any questioning, criticism, alternative argument or position. It is always refuted or rejected. They are definitely a bunch or incompetent fools sailing this ship.

      16

      • Isn’t it just fucken amazing, here we are 2yrs into this covid pandemic and labour is finally going to spend some money on the hospitals.
Thanks, andy little! You are fucken amazing, the bestis ever!
Don’t think there is any new beds, just a rejig of what they already have.
You have just proved by been so slow with this pandemic, that it’s never been about the medicene. It’s purely political!

      • In the case of TGa, when Tony Ryall got us a new wing they buillt more floors than theyhad funds to outfit. 2 floors at that. All that is happening is they are continuing with that in an attempt to catch up with our population growth.
Money that should have been spent 4 years ago.
BUT we still don’t have acar park so you have to take a bus.

Obviously Little remains a lying prick like he always was.

  6. Try and make sense of this shit.
Interesting list on point 104… exeptions, isnt it great MPs and their staff are exempt from everything in that order.

Note theres provisions in there for lockdowns, im not sure if theyre more restrictive then the levels setup but by the wording and mentioning of boundaries many times id say theyre far more restrictive esp in moving beyond set areas, looks like even the double vaxxed are fucked if cindy and bloomers impose a localised lockdown.

Sick wording “a designated business cannot exclude anyone entering based on vaccination status except a worker”

Also i see that at schools we can still enter just as long as its as a parent not a volunteer, theres a few settings like that.

    • Who wants to bet that theyll also use the “covid protection” laws against the organisers of todays protests and probably as many attendees as they can id for failure of vax pass and excedeing the gathering limit.
Theres shit in that legislation about “permitted gatherings” etc and im pretty sure cindy and doomers dont permit todays protest gathering.

  8. We really do elect tossers to run our country . Announcing upgrades to assets rings of desperation for attention , keeping an asset functioning and improving it is just general business. Replacing an old building with a new one is just good management. Now building a big new hospital or the likes because of real growth that is something to crow about.

  10. How many stories starting off with “Its a good thing I was fully vaxed otherwise I don’t think I would have survived covid” does the media have to write before the penny drops that some people get sick and some people get a sniffle and vax status has very little to do with it .

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2021/12/coronavirus-growing-amount-of-content-online-that-will-make-your-hair-curl-and-fall-out-netsafe.html
A website where Kiwis can nominate public figures to be tried for crimes against humanity over their role in the vaccine rollout is a “worrying” reflection of the times we live in, says NetSafe.

The site, which Newshub has chosen not to link to, promises a “day of reckoning” for those pushing the “experimental injection”, saying they’ll face “the largest class action in New Zealand”.

Targets include Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, other politicians such as COVID-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins, National Party leader Christopher Luxon and COVID-19 spokesperson Chris Bishop. All have expressed support for the vaccine rollout.

Health officials and experts are also in the firing line, including Director-General of Health Ashley Bloomfield and vaccinologist Helen Petousis-Harris.

  13. Just seen this appalling story from the UK:

The evil intensifies … and my wife is currently in floods of tears.
As many here know she is an unjabbed NHS worker, and is prepared to stand her ground and be sacked next year. However …
She has just received an email from her dad’s care home to say that from tomorrow no visitors will be allowed if they are not fully vaccinated and show the NHS App … they are not allowing just LFT tests, visitors have to be fully vaccinated.
In addition any resident that is taken out of the home has to isolate for 14 days.
My wife visits twice a week and pushes his chair around a park when she can, she was planning on bringing him here on Christmas Day for lunch.
I just know what to say. The ultimate insult is that he’s only in a care home because he had a stroke following his first Pfizer jab.

  15. It is almost frightening how obedient New Zealanders are.
It is frightening how the media, the medical associations, unions and other organizations that we have assumed would “look out for the little guy” to completely lock-step and to goose-march to the dictates of the State.
All the cafes, public transport companies and business are “in on the deal” and obeying the government.

While such action could be a good thing in the face of a truly deadly pandemic, I can also see the other side of this double-edged sword. It is not a good thing for a society to obey so blindly and to so willingly “follow orders.”

Years ago I though Japanese to be blindly obedient and Westerners to be “strong, independent-minded individuals” but I see now that this difference really doesn’t exist.

    • So one can see a highly orchestrated continuing sustained propaganda program, as admitted by Ardern, and activated by the Ardernites in academia, media, techno-bureau-autocracy systems.

Mr. Creamer authored a book titled “Stand Up Straight! How Progressives Can Win.”

“In general,” writes Mr. Creamer, “our strategic goal with people who have become conservative activists is not to convert them — that isn’t going to happen.
It is to demoralize them — to ‘deactivate’ them.
We need to deflate their enthusiasm, to make them lose their ardor and above all their self-confidence
[A] way to demoralize conservative activists is to surround them with the echo chamber of our positions and assumptions.

We need to make them feel that they are not mainstream, to make them feel isolated
We must isolate them ideologically[and] use the progressive echo chamber,” meaning the media and the blogs and whatever.
“By defeating them and isolating them ideologically, we demoralize conservative activists directly.
Then they begin to quarrel among themselves or blame each other for defeat in isolation, and that demoralizes them further.”

      https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/oct/24/dirty-tricks-then-and-now/

T’is so simple, just noting how conservative activists divide and eat each other up.
Sure we may say the left will devour each other, but that seems to be after they have achieved, one of their goals.

      So what do we achieve?
What are looking to do, that is practical, that we can do? and then even stop eating up our time & energy, baiting each other, as then we are so easily divided in our self righteousness.

Do we really need to outdo the left? to be baited by the socialists? Just recognize what they are.
When all we need to do is seek the truth, and then to support each other in truth?
The commonsense of the truth push back!

In the last couple of weeks I have been running in to more friends and talking to more people.
I cannot believe the lack of thought, lack of objectivity and what really gets me is the number who watch TV 1 news.
How do they torture themselves every night with the never ending propaganda?

I quietly and carefully ask questions ,maybe sow a seed of doubt. One very good friend (double jabbed) who I saw this week said “I think you are over thinking things.

    I will keep trying.

    18

    0

    • I will keep trying.

In life, though difficult, it is something to figure, we did what we could, and in a sense, remain with in “coo-ee”
At the same time, it is no good driving ourselves on to the rocks of despair, as we have not only ourselves to protect, but other friends, other family, and others we find that are more receptive, where we too may be supported, and give support.

In some ways I hope I am really wrong, about the problems to come, but in the meantime, we must look after ourselves, mind, body & soul.

  17. “Police car stolen in crash aftermath on State Highway 38 in Kaingaroa Forest”

Again? No mention of a couple of missing Glocks and Bushmasters. Must be a bit embarrassing hitching a ride back to the station. I only hope they were wearing masks, or they’ll be in big trouble.

    12

    0

    • Saggy, I can only but guess that the Plod who was in charge of the aforementioned stolen police car was a licensed firearm user and that if the car was nicked in the Kaingaroa Forest, it was a gang member who stole it and not a frail old lady in charge of a walking frame who had just absconded from a rest home.

If I am right, that would support the Governments and Plod’s theory that it is licensed firearm users who are supplying gangs with firearms.

      11

      0

        • Correct Saggy….
I couldn’t find anything in the Policing Act and Arms Act that sets out their exemption, but if they weren’t a fit and proper person as set out in the Arms Act, then they would have failed the recruiting process which is of a higher standard than firearm vetting.
They get issued with their own firearm proficiency cards and have to under go annual firearm training and testing to update it. If the card is not current, then the cop can’t be issued with a firearm for duty.

  18. I’m in a cafe-Having a nice lunch!
I have been turned away by so many lately for not having my ‘papers in order’ that I had almost given up.
The lovely girl behind the counter watched me walk straight in without scanning (past a couple of masked up Karens fumbling with their phones) and didn’t even ask.
    Perhaps there is hope?
Are people finally turning against Queen Jacinda and her little power games??

    17

    • Goodonya Capricorn. I refuse to be injected but I’ve been to a few cafes recently and had some nice experiences. I have photoshopped a ‘vaccine pass’ which has a fake QR code which of course doesn’t work.

When it fails and the staff/owner says “It says failed”, I keep showing the pass and say in a nice friendly voice “Take a closer look and you’ll see what the problem is”.

Written on the vaccine pass are the words “Do you want my business? If so, smile and let’s not play this silly game”.

I’ll admit that many times this doesn’t work,,,, but on the plus side I have had quite a few successes with it and I reckon there are a lot of businesses out there who just need a little prod. My point is that if we simply stay away from businesses which demand to see our papers, then we will NOT BE NOTICED. But by showing my ‘pass’, I know that even if the business owner is afraid to serve me, at least I will have made an impact (however small). When I’m successful, I always say “Thanks for that. I won’t tell anyone or post your name coz I don’t want you to get into trouble.” This goes down well.

I’m off to my favourite cafe now for a nice relaxing coffee and a chocolate brownie.

p.s. I’d like to make my ‘vaccine pass’ available to anybody who wants to use it – but I can’t post it here coz we can’t post images in these chats. Bugger.

        Toko has a point too.
Though it may be in keeping, starting with sharing other information, like the zinc Vit D, how to get Ivermectin? HCQ? though sadly do not ask me.
Any one affected by vaccine injury? Build a knowledge, a small unit.
All to build a resistance, grow numbers,

How ever the bureaucracy will expand, another department of licensed inspectors, another cohort of security enforcers, where fines already worked out, little tweaks by Ardern decrees, will ratship up tighter and tighter for your good, and the good of the community.

It has to be totally busted!
We need to align a lot more, and not divide up over small issues.
We need to achieve the irrefutable numbers, as many as, “every day” “every week” and to many parts of those in authority and politically,

A Queensland real estate agency has copped fierce backlash after it emailed tenants with a list of presents they could give to their landlord, with one costing up to $115.

The email from Kanik & Co, a real estate agency which describes itself as a boutique and independent agency that opened in 2017, outlines a list of hamper options for tenants to choose from.

These included a white wine grazing box or festive sweets box for $55, a self-care hamper for $70 or spending $99 on a foodies hamper.

The big ticket option however is a luxury gift hamper called All Things Golden costing $115, which contains items such as sparkling wine, a satin robe and eye mask, aroma diffuser, bath salts and a range of food and sweets.

I wonder if we can make this compulsory in NZ?

I’m sure the broken down truck driver of the south will have an opinion Eh Mikey.

    • Fortunately for our correspondent, Charles Dickens foresaw the advent of the “Tauranga Miser” & warned him to change his ways in his novel “A Christmas Carol”. His slum landlord is described as “a squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, clutching, covetous, old sinner! Hard and sharp as flint,… secret, and self-contained, and solitary as an oyster.”

      But……

…..”Finally, the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come shows Scrooge where his greed and selfishness will lead: a lonely death, unpaid servants stealing his belongings, debtors relieved at his passing, and the Cratchit family devastated by the loss of Tiny Tim.

Scrooge asks the spirit if this future can still be changed, but the spirit does not reply. Scrooge begs the spirit for another chance, promising to change his ways – and wakes up in his bed on Christmas Day. Overjoyed, Scrooge commits to being more generous and compassionate; he accepts his nephew’s invitation to Christmas dinner, provides for Cratchit and his family, and donates to the charity fund. “……

Let the moths out of your wallet & enjoy the festive season! 🙂

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand has made three new appointments to the executive leadership team as it faces questioning over a series of senior staff departures.

Sarah Owen, Kate Kolich and Greg Smith will join the Reserve Bank as assistant governors, governor Adrian Orr announced today.

The Reserve Bank is undergoing an expanded and refreshed structure of its Executive Leadership Team (ELT) as it seeks to bolster its overall capability and capacity.

“These appointments are key to strengthening our leadership team and supporting the future strategic direction of Te Pūtea Matua, as we move to a new statutory governance board in 2022,” Orr said.

  30. This government with its stoplight system is preventing this 74 year old from enjoying his normal retirement life.
I can no longer see and visit with my friends at the Whangarei Cruising club. As an 8 year veteran of the Whangarei Volunteer Coastguard my wife and I were excluded from their annual Christmas do. My passion for scuba diving has been curtailed because Dive Tutukaka excludes the unvaccinated from boarding their dive boats. The wife and I can no longer go out to dinner. The list of things I am now excluded from being allowed to do goes on and on.

While disappointed, I cannot get angry at any of these organizations because their hands have been tied. The government has forced them to exclude us from our normal activities. I am very unhappy.

  32. History never repeats itself, but it does stammer.

    It’s like the roaring 20’s.
Rapidly rising asset prices, stock market averages and house prices.

Have we forgotten what also happened in the 20’s?
This is not a healthy market and won’t end well.

    15 December 2021

A laboratory leak is now the more likely origin of Covid, MPs have heard, because after two years of searching an animal host has never been found.

Speaking to the Science and Technology Select Committee, Dr Alina Chan, a specialist in gene therapy and cell engineering at MIT and Harvard, said there was also a risk that Covid-19 was an engineered virus.

  34. I am worried, no new start to the new day? I hope Ed and Mrs Holy are well and have not succumbed to any illness at all let alone the deadly virus. It is a real worry as this will be the first time we have not woken to the new start for the day. I really hope you are both well and just thought you might be late today or something good and exciting and lovely has happened to/for you.
Good morning everyone wet again in the Tron. Not much to be excited about especially at this time of the year when we should all be spinning with the festive season. Looks like FJA has killed the spirit of Christmas too. FJA
