  14. Waiting 20 minutes for a coffee at the seaside market, I listened carefully to the special weird coffees the pretentious wankers of Wellington drink. What a bunch of fake ass pricks. I can’t wait to leave this crappy little city. Though I’ve met some good buggers too.

    Interesting comparing coffee orders to body shape. Fat Karen’s tend to order what is basically a dessert. Twitchy woke types order it with some sort of hideous synthetic milk. Good buggers order black coffee, with milk if they identify as womin.

        • Sagz its algood as wifey does the calf rearing there so fresh milk every day, now that her jobs done a bit of barter and the arrangment continues, we get 2doz+ eggs a day so a few doz eggs a week theyre happy as 🙂

          I usually make fresh haloumi cheese and also the stretchiest mozzeralla but been too busy this season, hopfully might get a chance over xmas break to do so.
          A couple hours and bucket or so milk i can make 2-3kg of each cheese, its bloody beautiful when its that fresh.

  15. Just watched addictive GBN on YouTube Neil Oliver speaking about Christmas traditions very very good. He was live on as well speaking with Dr Robert Malone and that was very interesting. I should be doing the lawn before the next global warming spell where we are dry as a crisp and the world is burning up but once I started watching I kinda couldn’t stop. Everyone they have on the site is incredibly interesting.
    Christmas this year is so disappointing for everyone, there is a dark cloud overhanging New Zealand which won’t be lifted until this current government and FJA are gone and covid is given its rightful place in society one of normal flue/cold/unwell which doesn’t have too much effect on most during the summer. Take your vitamin D, vitamin K and zinc and keep yourself fit or semi fit.
    Try and have a happy Christmas week, its not raining so get out and about if you can. Take care open the doors and windows if the rona is out to get you pureblood windows open might just do it.

    Dear Mark Zuckerberg,

    We are Fiona Godlee and Kamran Abbasi, editors of The BMJ, one of the world’s oldest and most influential general medical journals. We are writing to raise serious concerns about the “fact checking” being undertaken by third party providers on behalf of Facebook/Meta.

    In September, a former employee of Ventavia, a contract research company helping carry out the main Pfizer covid-19 vaccine trial, began providing The BMJ with dozens of internal company documents, photos, audio recordings, and emails. These materials revealed a host of poor clinical trial research practices occurring at Ventavia that could impact data integrity and patient safety. We also discovered that, despite receiving a direct complaint about these problems over a year ago, the FDA did not inspect Ventavia’s trial sites.

    The BMJ commissioned an investigative reporter to write up the story for our journal. The article was published on 2 November, following legal review, external peer review and subject to The BMJ’s usual high level editorial oversight and review.[1]

    But from November 10, readers began reporting a variety of problems when trying to share our article. Some reported being unable to share it. Many others reported having their posts flagged with a warning about “Missing context … Independent fact-checkers say this information could mislead people.” Those trying to post the article were informed by Facebook that people who repeatedly share “false information” might have their posts moved lower in Facebook’s News Feed. Group administrators where the article was shared received messages from Facebook informing them that such posts were “partly false.”

    Readers were directed to a “fact check” performed by a Facebook contractor named Lead Stories.[2]

    We find the “fact check” performed by Lead Stories to be inaccurate, incompetent and irresponsible.

    — It fails to provide any assertions of fact that The BMJ article got wrong

    — It has a nonsensical title: “Fact Check: The British Medical Journal Did NOT Reveal Disqualifying And Ignored Reports Of Flaws In Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Trials”

    — The first paragraph inaccurately labels The BMJ a “news blog”

    — It contains a screenshot of our article with a stamp over it stating “Flaws Reviewed,” despite the Lead Stories article not identifying anything false or untrue in The BMJ article

    — It published the story on its website under a URL that contains the phrase “hoax-alert”

    We have contacted Lead Stories, but they refuse to change anything about their article or actions that have led to Facebook flagging our article.

    We have also contacted Facebook directly, requesting immediate removal of the “fact checking” label and any link to the Lead Stories article, thereby allowing our readers to freely share the article on your platform.

    There is also a wider concern that we wish to raise. We are aware that The BMJ is not the only high quality information provider to have been affected by the incompetence of Meta’s fact checking regime. To give one other example, we would highlight the treatment by Instagram (also owned by Meta) of Cochrane, the international provider of high quality systematic reviews of the medical evidence.[3] Rather than investing a proportion of Meta’s substantial profits to help ensure the accuracy of medical information shared through social media, you have apparently delegated responsibility to people incompetent in carrying out this crucial task. Fact checking has been a staple of good journalism for decades. What has happened in this instance should be of concern to anyone who values and relies on sources such as The BMJ.

    We hope you will act swiftly: specifically to correct the error relating to The BMJ’s article and to review the processes that led to the error; and generally to reconsider your investment in and approach to fact checking overall.

      Itll be interesting if there is a massive spike in reports over the new years break as it may embolden some doctors to report current and older complaints now its semi official they can report with not so much reprocussions.

      The telling picture will be when the data comes through comparing year on year for last 3-5yrs, compare cause of death and also reported strokes and heart issues… im guessing thats why theyre priming the sheep for “post pandemic stress disorder”, of course for some strange reason unknown to science only affects the vaxxed.

        I noticed this on the Medsafe site yesterday on myocarditis. It is dated the 21 July 2021. I trawled through the Medsafe site on the 5th November looking for this adverse reaction information and never saw it back then. I took screen shots, so I know the date when I searched.

As it is sometimes difficult to distinguish between myocarditis and pericarditis (inflammation of the sac surrounding the heart), the warning will relate to both conditions. This information will be added to the data sheet very shortly.

        The wording will be similar to the update recently made in the United Kingdom:

        There have been very rare reports of myocarditis and pericarditis occurring after vaccination with Comirnaty often in younger men and shortly after the second dose of the vaccine. These are typically mild cases and individuals tend to recover within a short time following standard treatment and rest.

        Remember those chilean miners trapped underground a few years back, they bored a man size hole and bought them up that way. For all the money blown in the entrance to the rock fall they knew would stop progress and likely yeild little to no evidence they could have bored several large boreholes to get real evidence and recover bodies if they wanted to.

          Further to my above post on myocarditis…you will notice that Medsafe name the injection as being ‘Comirnaty’ and you will recall posts some time back on HYS when the FDA gave full approval for the Pfizer shot…

          There seemed to be confusion about what injection was being approved and it looked like there had been a bait and switch scam going on with the names. Consensus was, I think, that the approval was for Comirnaty, that did not exist up until that time, and that with formal approval, the immunity waiver did not apply to any injection labelled ‘Comirnaty’….the reason that ‘Pfizer-BioNTech was still being used.

          There is a Court case current in the States, where some soldiers are fighting the DOD injection mandate. The Judge overseeing it, came out on Friday and said that the DOD had not produced any evidence that the vaccine ‘Comirnaty’ exists. The DOD mandate relates to Comirnaty.

          It makes me wonder about the veracity of Medsafe stating “mRNA vaccines are a new technology being used for preventing COVID-19 infection. One of the vaccines is the Comirnaty COVID-19 mRNA vaccine (also known as the ‘Pfizer-BioNTech mRNA vaccine’).”

          I asked the district coordinator for the vaccine to give me the exact writing on the vaccine vial label, but have not heard back.

    • NZ Military will show up on flightradar24.com but only when they want to. They must switch off the transponder every now and then. I have noticed rescue helicopters seem to disappear when getting near to the “rescue” site. Don’t know if this is intentional or not.
      The bwitch should have a transponder on her broomstick.

      A small detail (Taken from another site and FWIW): ‘Flight tracker FR24 does not display everything flying, only aircraft that have the particular ADS-B transponder signals it collates. Those transponders aren’t universally equipped or required to be, so a non-appearance on FR24 doesn’t automatically mean there is no traffic’.

      This would, of course, explain the ‘absence’ of a lot of (But NOT all) RNZAF-registered aircraft on the Flight Radar (FR24) site. .

      All of which means that it is possible for an aircraft to be flying directly above you and at low altitude you and yet it will not appear on the Flight Radar (FR24) screen; A state of affairs which can be VERY frustrating!!

      That detail notwithstanding, it’s a very interesting site to watch.

    This article has charts showing grossly incorrect figures for Covid cases and deaths per 100,000 population.

    For example, in the 70-79 year old age group it states that there were 9 deaths (due to or with Covid). The chart says that represents 2.45 deaths per 100,000. Wrong! 9 deaths is actually 0.18 deaths per 100,000 population. All of the figures in that chart are wrong and overstate the values by a factor of 1400%.

    I was one of the first people to comment to Stuff about the error in the article (comments were open but none yet listed).
    My comment was not published but over 100 others were. Stuff is allowing the error to continue. Comments now closed.

    From what I can see there are two possible sites for the knees-up. The area surrounding the house near Muriwai or the restored wetland area at the mouth of the Maraetaha River on the Southeast coast. The latter would be incredibly private & hard to protest but the crews of a fleet of small craft anchored off the beach would be able to make themselves heard.

    Hopefully plans will be drawn up so that the ceremony can be fucked over the same way as the country has been in the past two years.

      • Young Nicks Head station would have a long frontage to SH2 so it’s quite likely to have two or three road entrances. Most cockys though are well aware of the security risks posed by multiple access points so there won’t be many.

        If they use the vintage train everyone will arrive at the same time & only a few buses would be needed to ferry guests to the venue. Protest opportunities will be limited.

        By sea though is a different story.

I understand that he’s now the bees knees with what he has done, conservation wise and with his philanthropy. I heard years ago that the two local schools (Muriwai and Manutuke) have never needed to fund raise since he arrived.

          • Good find Toko. It seems from V2’s 4.32pm comment that the homestead is indeed the venue. The police will have Coop Rd blocked but I wonder if they can do the same with the adjacent public beach.

            • Nasska….The GDC property search is very handy. It gets you into LINZ to find owners names and up here, once you have identified the land and or owner, Maori Land on Line gives you all the share holder’s names.

              Three car loads of cops were doing the rounds here yesterday moving on freedom campers. There’s now a ban on them whether vaccinated or not. I have a beach reserve in front of my property that is usually camped out by this time of year. The motor home association has been told to advise their members to stay away as well and I haven’t seen any motor homes since the beginning of the week.

              A couple of Maori families have set up a large camp in front and it seems that if you can establish ties to this part of the coast, kei te pai. Non Maori moved on, Maori get to enjoy beach side camping for the Christmas break.

              This is really going to create more local animosity, so count on a decent wedding protest.

    The farm homestead is in the process of being renovated for the second time in a matter of months ahead of the wedding.

    Christmas Eve at the family gathering, midnight.

    “Merry Christmas everyone”, yells the guy serving the booze. He’s definitely a relative but not having seen him for a year I’m buggered if I remember his name.

    “Happy Christmas Jim….Fred….Dave….Mick”, we all yell, I’m not the only one who who doesn’t remember who he is.

    “We survived until Christmas,” the nameless one shouts, “raise your glasses, let’s have a toast to the memory of (lists names of dead people)”.

    “Cheers,” we all shout and quaff the drinks.

    The toasts go on for quite a while as we celebrate all the brave things we’ve done this year to defy the virus….not wearing masks in shops, ignoring social distancing in pubs, hugging everyone we know whenever we meet, refusing to accept quarantine. All except cousin James, an intensive care hospital doctor. “What’s the bravest thing you’ve done?” we demand, expecting some awful horror stories.

    “I brought the vaccine,” he replies, “and I want you all to have the jab before you leave ”.

    The room goes deathly silent for a moment then everyone screams in fear and tries to flee for their lives through the now locked doors.
