I think they might be creating their ow battles , how do they administer a vax pass system down to 5 year olds with the need for 4 monthly boosters. If you look at a lot of countries 16 is their cut off age and anyone vaxed under this age is by choice.
And of course more cries of inequitable treatment from their Maori mates. Which of course couldn’t be further from the truth, but the enemy of your enemy is your friend. Lay down with dogs, and you get up with fleas. And no, I’m not calling Maori “dogs”; it’s a turn of phrase, you woke mingers.
Saggy, because of my job (working for a Maori organisation), I come into contact with a reasonable number of Maori customers of my employer. It never ceased to amaze me a few weeks ago, when many of these younger Maori women whom I had come into contact with, during the course of our conversation, claimed to me that their mother or some other female relative had picked up a $200 food voucher, (as a prize or reward for getting the Kungflu jab) from a Maori Health Provider, the major Health Provider alongside the Waikato DHB, in our town.
Now, I come into contact with a lot of people here and I know of no European, Indian or other ethnicity who received such a food voucher, chicken (not KFC as they have not come this far into the Wop Wops) or any other form of enticement. Now someone has to pay for this enticement, either the Government directly or the Waikato DHB.
So how on this basis, is this equitable under the so called Treaty, when both signatories to the Treaty are supposed to be treated as equal.
Every day, it seems to me that Maori are bleating about something and are crying “Not Fair” when the Government and many, many other parties dealing with Maori, crawl up their own backside to appease Maori and look after their every want and desire.
And still when they get what they want, it is never good enough.
For 16% of the population they are doing bloody well!
Wonder how much of the government spend they get on top of what the rest of the population can get?
Or Sooty, would the question be, what percentage of the overall monetary vote for health, housing and social services do they get compared with the rest of the nation.
For health, language, social, state housing etc, etc, it will be well above what the rest of the country gets. I just look at what goes through my place of employment that goes to benefiting the winging few, it is really staggering, they seem to pay for little and are still ungrateful.
Yet they still cry hard done by and the woke still shovel money at them like it 2as going out of fashion!
Weren’t Maori given a $1b in June to help them with the jab. $1b for 16% of the population… CaChing!

Been up since 5 and I have been setting up our train set to run around the Christmas tree – it is a good one as it yells out “All Aboard” the makes a steaming train noise as it goes around.
I hadn’t bothered as have it had at the Christmas Grotto I have been Father Christmas at but now my son is coming down tomorrow together with the 2 grandchildren. Now the boy is 5 years old and I am very concerned over the now forcible injection into all our kids. This is despite growing evidence that this version is a weaker strain of the previous one, as apparently virus’s intend to do.
However I feel I really want to caution him on lining is son up, somehow I believe this probable last election Labour voting son of mine may not want to hear that. Am thinking will be very low key, express my concerns for the damage it may do and possibly at least make him aware. We shall see.

Actually, I’m still of the belief that Omicron is the best available solution to the faux-pandemic yet. We all need to acquire actual (natural) immunity, as opposed to the “just-pretend” immunity that the vax and its boosters provides. Given that Omicron apparently provides immunity at very little cost (‘cos it is no worse than a common cold) . . . . I say “Bring it on.” The sooner the more dangerous delta variant is replaced by the much milder omicron, the better off we all will be.

She and her husband are off for their booster shot today, he is so thin and think he has had a hard life in his 80s so it will be amazing if he lives to tell the tale She is terribly worried, watched CNN last night and they said….. In a caucus full of ex-teachers, there is no one able to replace Hipkins in education.
The NCEA results are truly shocking. Some state schools have no pupils reaching university entrance level. The public/private educational achievement gap is a chasm.
My nephew was Dux of his well-known state school. He was shocked to discover how far behind he is compared to the students from private schools. It cost him a place in med school.
Labour is creating a class division based on whether you went to a private school.
Ardern and Hipkins promised when they closed Charter Schools that the performance of state schools would improve. It has gone backwards. No brick bat is big enough.

Last year, in the OECD, only the US Federal Reserve printed more money relative to GDP than New Zealand. While supply chains have impacted prices, most of our inflation is home grown.
According to the ANZ survey, in the next three months 89 per cent of companies expect to face higher costs. 65 per cent are intending to increase their prices. On top of that inflation fire the Government is going to spray the kerosene of an extra $6 billion of spending.
Interest rate rises will cause mortgage holders significant hardship.
Countless times the Treasury has predicted a house price correction. Eventually, the Treasury’s predicted correction will happen. Then there will be real strife. We cannot give a bouquet for the economy.

My brother just rang me. He was concerned about the side effects his youngest (35)was experiencing after he got the vax.
He did a drop everything, mercy dash, from Wellington to Christchurch.
Got a spot on the ferry after doing a RAT test.
He said he had access to all the amenities and food on the ferry.
My nephew said the experience he had when getting the Jab was like the pain you feel when a dog scratches you.
Later in the day, he had sharp pains and tightness in his chest.
This madness has to end.

Hopefully the family , will know how to push the buttons, on those Doctors, to have the right blood tests done, etc., that will lead to more correct medications & treatments to have a fighting chance.
A good point, keep a notebook of all of what Doctors say, tests, treatments, time, so that helps at a later stage if further things may have to be done, as sometimes they do not keep track of things either.
Having the note book, puts more authority to you, whatever you question or say, and helps cut through some of the crap and any fudging of some Doctors & particularly the bureau-managers etc..

Time to make ‘two shots for summer’ into ‘three shots over summer’. Need to ramp up the booster advertising asap.
Just shows how poor Bishops thinking skills are. The booster got FDA approval because they saw so little difference between it and the original jab they did not ask for any testing data.
So Bishop … the first two jabs do not work so you think it is a great idea to get another jab of the same stuff and you will get a better result. If that is the case I have a bridge to sell you, as the old saying goes.
