    2. Vaccines obviously are the saviour as we can see in Gibraltar, Israel, the cruise chip and how did the new variant travel to New Zealand, several times, on fully vaccinated plane.?
    3. Don’t let anyone into New Zealand, who cares if 30,000 New Zealanders are denied their rights to travel to their own Country, well as long as Lorde can Wainuiomata will be “safe”

    • Phil,
      Its not actually true that you have to be fully vaccinated to fly to NZ at the moment. I flew in on 18 Dec and have not been vaccinated. The curious thing is that both the vaccinated and the unvaccinated are treated alike by officialdom – you have to get a PCR test within 72 hours of departing. In other words, the powers that be declare right there by that very requirement that the vax makes no difference with regards to your likely infectiveness.

        • I think you will find the PCR tests have been fine tuned, and in essence still continue.
          Just a change from singleplex to multiplex.
          The singleplex is why all flues were recognized as covid.

          What was passed for the labs doing the tests was under EUA, but it is loose and some labs, were just too loose, as their system showed too many false results.

          CDC is providing this advance notice for clinical laboratories to have adequate time to select and implement one of the many FDA-authorized alternatives.

          Nor do I trust them, as the deviously change their language and definitions.
          Still what cycles are spun, and how other flues, etc, may still be recognized as Covid.

          Basically the tests should only be used on an actual sick, –symptomatic patient who has turned up for help, and then it is a guideline for the Doctor to give the “best available” treatment; that is in the “Art of Medicine”!

      If the first vaccine shot worked, then technically, every subsequent shot would fail, as the body should identify the second shot as the virus, and PREVENT the second shot doing its job.

      I can explain this, however:
      [1] We all know, or should know about anti-biotic resistance – where over time anti-biotics are becoming less effective, as human bodies build up a resistance. Another story in itself but it is why attention was turned last decade to simulating bacteriophages, which are very similar to viruses, and the body’s natural defense to bacteria.

      [2] The human body also builds up a resistance to vaccines, because the body as it encounters a virus/bacterium, builds anti-bodies. So when the body encounters something that resembles an existing contagion, the body defences go to work. So vaccine companies have had increasing problems getting vaccines to work.

      [3] Vaccines however, are not as intuitive and refined as the contagions they are supposed to inoculate you for, or the refined responses of the human body. Vaccines are often broad stokes – using a sledge hammer to put up a picture hook. It may work, but in the process there is collateral damage.

      [4] Vaccinologists refuse to accept that natural immunity through supplements, nutrition, a healthy diet, and letting the complex systems in the human body deal with things are all far superior to vaccines. They refuse to accept that, because there is no money for their faulty products that don’t work. “We need to make money!. Nutrition and Healthy diets are natural competitors to our products. Let’s ban them!”

      [5] In a misguided money hungry attempt to make vaccines overcome vaccine resistance, several strategies were developed, including:

      (i) Create vaccines with a comparatively high intrinsic static electrical charge, that will attract itself to the cells and bind more readily. For many years, vaccines have had this net charge. All corona viruses also have a static charge, Covid-19 has between 10 and 20 times the static charge of a normal corona virus, and no migration or mutation path has been found in animals or man for this change. This charge is created by the spike protein, and appears in a configuration that could not occur naturally.

      The spike protein in Covid-19 is a result of intentional lab research, and has been used in vaccines for years, so it was only a matter of time before it intentionally or accidentally appeared in the wild in a real, virtual or created virus.. This is a lesson we can learn from the Jurassic Park movies – create a powerful monster for financial gain, and sooner or later it will escape. Which it has. The lid on Pandoras box was supposed to have been kept closed foreever.

      (ii) Another technique to overcoming vaccine resistance, is to include in the vaccine, an agent (pathogen?) that wipes out existing anti-bodies ahead of time, so that the new vaccine does not get blocked. For simplistic argument sake lets say, flu 2011 has 44 key identifying markers then vaccine 2011 will simulate and build immunity to those 44 markers,

      However flu 2012 has 41 markers the same as flu/vaccine 2011, plus a few others, so antibodies to those 41 will block the 2012 vaccine, and for that matter the 2012 flu. So the vaccine for 2012 has to first disable the bulk of those common 41 markers, which weakens the already existing immunity. This is the cause of ADE.

      So if the Covid vaccines and booster shots were not destroying existing antibodies, every shot after the first shot would fail.. At best the Covid vaccines are no better than a preventative prophylactic. And a piss poor one compared to Ivermectin, which also destroys the spike protein pathogen in the vaccine, which is why it had to be banned. It is also why not $1 of the $billions being spent on Covid propaganda is spend on nutrition, diet or early treatment protocols.

      If you want to sell more sugary drinks, you must first ban water, or at least take control of the fresh water supply. Three Waters?

      The vaccine companies are setting up the world for vaccine addiction through ADE. They are drug dealers.

Well, HP, if this is the same Trevor Mallard who was allegedly taken behind the Eels Football Clubrooms in Taumarunui (during a Saturday night function where he was being particularly obnoxious) and had his lights punched out when he was a Teacher at the High School there. This occurred because of his opinions and attitudes were totally in opposition to rest of the community during the 1981 Springbok tour, then his above attitude as you have shown, does not surprise me.
    Mallard was an idiot then, is an idiot now and will be an idiot in the future. I think there are many in this fine town who would like to have a close chat with Mallard again, but it has been noted, that since that incident, he has never shown his face in Taumarunui since leaving as a Teacher here.

    • Bishop is the guy who a few months ago said we should jab little kids quickly because of the modelling results. That’s when I wrote to Collins and said that was the “last straw” , no more votes from me for National.     A trip to Japan has always been on my bucket list. I learned Japanese for a couple of years at school, but couldn’t speak a sentence today. It’s not easy. But the culture is fascinating, steeped in tradition, and the Japanese are a noble people.

          • Getting around in Tokyo is getting easier with all the apps for your smartphone. (You’ll have to sort out SIM cards yourself.)
            Even when I last visited in 2018, I saw so many tourists using tablets and smartphones to navigate their way around and find the places they were looking for.

            Tokyo is safe and runs like clockwork. Definitely worth a visit. In pre-COVID days, it was a very popular destination for Chinese tourists. So much so that at the tourist traps like Asakusa Shrine, I felt like I was back on Dominion Road in Auckland.

      • I have a 30 year old son who went to japan on a work visa, about 6 months before the faux-pandemic struck. He got stuck there for a while during the pandemic but is now is free to travel home. However he keeps putting it off ‘cos he loves the way of life over there. He says there’s no way in the world that he’d consider coming back to NZ, but going back to Queensland to work might be on the cards for him at some stage. Thanks, Aunty Jacinda!

    The thought of her nieces going without this Christmas is the sole reason Aroha* continues to give money to her sister.

    • Some idiots that think the word “mandate” is a get of out jail free card. If an adult or worse still a child dies or is injured from a vaccine, or denied a proper treatment for said virus, it is a criminal offense and somebody has to pay.

      Any business regardless of type, that is obeying these mandates, should be asking “When the shit hits the fan, who is responsible?”

      The victim (if still alive) and their families, will want compensation and they will get a brick wall from the government. So guess who will be under fire? Any non government business, mandated or not, will wear it. Clearly there is a shortage of good lawyers who understand criminal law and duty of care laws. Any lawyers not sucking on the state tit will tell an employer not to mandate and enforce vax passports, because they are opening themselves up to a future ton of hurt and criminal action.

  39. These bureaucrats, world wide, have gone mad. Just talking to a friend from Perth. She had booked flights some time ago to go to Queensland for Xmas, in the hope everything would be open. She got her wish on the openings but then had go around in circles with her bookings as the airlines keep changing flight schedules, but finally got that sorted with hours to spare. She and her family had their passes to get back into WA approved a few days before, but when they got off the plane in Brisbane and turned their phones on they have message to say their passes have been cancelled. So they now have to grovel to the WA officials to be able to get back home on the 6th Jan. Still have to do 14 days quarantine at home when they get there.
    They really think these vaccines are good don’t they !!!

If they were applying the letter and spirit of their own laws, Ardern, Bllomfield,Hipkins etc and any business owner that told staff to get vaccinated would right now be being prosecuted, under reckless endangerment to the public;

    • It is good to hear that Steve Oliver is taking it back to Worksafe, but look at that daily tyrannical threat they will looking to compound.

      The owner of the gym said he was trying to keep everyone safe.

      Steve Oliver, in a video posted to the Oliver MMA Facebook page, thanked the New Lynn gym’s supporters and said he had been dealing with Worksafe.

      “They’re great people down there doing there job. They’re not stoked about what they’re doing — $12000 fine per day, that’s not great. But we’re doing our best to keep every happy here and safe.”

      Oliver said the gym looked after children pushed out of society, when their mental health was lagging.

      WorkSafe head of general inspectorate Simon Humphries said the gym had been open about their stance on social media and in comments to media.

    • I know I read somewhere where some was suffering from Long Covid, and finally in desperation managed to get some Ivermectin, not an immediate complete cure, but enough of improvements, tha it made life much more bearable.
      Probably if done earlier, when in recovery the damage by long covid would not have happened.

  57. The Media Council has upheld complaints against community news site The Indian News for offensive reporting about a Massey University academic and his research on Hindu nationalist ideology.

    In a decision due to be published today, the Council said an article by the Auckland-based publication had breached its ethical standards, expressed opinion “under the guise of news” and crossed the line into “abusive personal attack”.

    “It is unsustainable to describe it as news,” the decision read.

    The Indian News had published a named photo of Massey University Professor Mohan Dutta in a news article on September 16, suggesting he was part of a “gang of some smelly rats” bringing an “anti-Hindu tirade” to New Zealand.

    The point of contention was Dutta’s research brief on the Hindu nationalist ideology, or Hindutva, published in May, which has seen the academic receive hundreds of abusive online messages by supporters of the political movement, mainly from overseas, according to police.

    “In the Council’s view it is clearly an expression of the writer’s opinions rather than reporting of facts and is an attack on Professor Dutta (and others of like mind),” the decision said of the Indian News article.

    The publication has breached ethical standards of accuracy, fairness and balance, and public faith, and included offensive descriptions of Dutta, the Council said, referring to comments calling him “so-called Professor”, “bigot” and “smelly rats”.

      A Massey University academic is getting online bashing for his work on right-wing Hindu nationalist groups.

      Dean’s Chair in Communication Professor Mohan Dutta says Hindutva trolls have been flooding his social media accounts in recent weeks, some of them abusive and calling on Massey University to fire him and retract his work.

      “I get that with white supremacists,” said Dutta, who also addresses hate and white supremacy in his work, “but the sheer scale of this is really the first time.”

      He is getting up to 80 Twitter and Facebook messages and tags a day calling him names like “grade A twat”, “stinking a**hole” and “boot licker”.

    Upper Hutt does u-turn on Covid-19 vaccine passes

    A confirmed Covid-19 case in the Hutt Valley has led to the Upper Hutt City Council reversing its controversial decision not to use vaccine passes for most council facilities, including libraries.

    “Given this [case] and the high transmission rate of the Delta strain, we have made the decision to change the settings at our public facilities, moving to more restrictive settings,” the council said in a statement.

    The libraries, aquatic centre and the main council building will close to the public at 5pm in order to change over to the new rules.

    Councillors last week confirmed a decision, made earlier in the month by staff, not to require vaccine passes. The council noted that if there was confirmed community transmission, the situation would change.

    Local MP and Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins is pleased his local council is now using vaccine passes.
