  1. I’m loving Donald Trumps push back on those 4 congress women, especially the muslim one. She seems to support the somali’s who attacked the US servicemen during the UN occupation. (Black Hawk down)
That shows no patriotism on her part
The crowd started chanting “Send Her Back!”

      • I just watched your crossbow video. To be honest I am not surprised the cops took an interest. Although your target backboard is large the fact that there are two windows of the house next door right behind the target is a worry especially for the residents there. You will understand that only a slight angular deviation of aim could easily mean your bolt misses the target board altogether. Perhaps you will remember that the range at Trentham was closed for years (after almost a hundred years of accident free use) because the “elf and safety” brigade were worried a projectile might miss the target and fly over THE EIGHT HUNDRED FEET HIGH backstop and land in the valley beyond where there were half a dozen houses?

        • Sorry to hear of your troubles. Are you targeted specifically or are you just living in a neighbourhood with a lot of low life scumbags? Shame on the police for their lack of action, perhaps you should become a Muslim. 🙁

  2. The CoL continues to drive the NZ economy into the ground; to prove their self-fulfilling prophecy that “capitalism has failed”.

Unemployment continues to grow. Basic commodity prices are going up. Business confidence keeps dropping.

    https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2019/07/jobless-jump-blamed-on-rapidly-deteriorating-labour-market.html

But that’s all right. Ardern gave a nice speech in Melbourne on “good” governance to 2000 cheering sycophants that more than makes up for ruining the economy.

  3. I heard on the radio that the number of people on the Job Seekers Support benfit has gone up.
Yet they say that busisness cannot get staff.
Is it due to the removal of sanctions or the increase in benefits? (free money)
I see lots of all day parties sin my area!

      • I had an accident in the UK several years ago, I was ambulanced to a hospital in Bristol, had a plastic surgeon sew me up, stayed a night, had a follow up visit. When I left I pulled my credit card out to pay for it and claim insurance later, I was told it was free. They said that their citizens were covered by ACC in NZ while traveling so they reciprocated and hospitalisation for Kiwi’s traveling that have accidents was free there too. I thought they were great.

    • It will be far more now as that news article was in 2015. People should take out medical insurance before going on off shore holidays, just like most of us do when we travel out of the country. It certainly pays us to do so. Perhaps in this over regulated country we could insist on this being one of our new rules????? Along with our tax that has been imposed on tourists under the col.

      • Here we go, unpaid medical debts revealed. From this morning AMShow.
        https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2019/07/foreigners-unpaid-medical-debts-revealed.html

“National’s health spokesperson Michael Woodhouse thinks it’s unfair that taxpayers have to pick up the tab, and fears hospitals aren’t doing enough to ensure people can pay.

“The taxpayer invests an extraordinary amount of money in the public health service. It’s becoming increasingly strained, and I think their expectation will be that those resources are expended on people who are eligible for publicly funded services, not those who are coming from overseas.”

          • I think I am right in remembering that you could buy travel insurance from a slot machine at Heathrow way back in the seventies. How simple it would be these days to have machines in the arrival hall before passport control for compulsory medical insurance payable by credit card. Failure to present the resulting insurance card with your passport would result in an “insurance declined” stamp in the passport meaning if the visitor has an accident they are on their own unless covered anyway by a reciprocal agreement.

          • It’s not the genuine tourists causing the problem. It’s all the PI’s dross coming here for all the free medical stuff. Very noticeable that its the south auckland area GHB’s that have most of this debt.

    • I was involved in a road accident in the US many years ago. I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. The first person to talk to me inside the hospital was a nice lady with a clip board to ask me about my insurance details, so she could write down. I was told later if I had not had insurance I would not have got any further and would have been out the door.

  4. Norman, an old retired sailor, puts on his old uniform and heads for the docks once more for old time’s sake.
He engages a woman of the night and takes her up to her room.
He’s soon going at it as well as he can for a guy his age, but needing some reassurance, he asks, ‘How am I doing?’
The lady smoothly replies, ‘Well Norman, you old sailor, you’re doing about three knots.’
‘Three knots?’ he asks. ‘ What’s that supposed to mean?’
She says, ‘You’re knot hard, you’re knot in, and you’re knot getting your money back.’

  5. Great picture, and talking of which:

“Comrades,” he said, “I trust that every Kiwi here appreciates the sacrifice that Comrade Ardern has made in taking this extra labour upon herself. Do not imagine, comrades, that leadership is a pleasure! On the contrary, it is a deep and heavy responsibility. No one believes more firmly than Comrade Ardern that all Kiwis are equal. She would be only too happy to let you make your decisions for yourselves. But sometimes you might make the wrong decisions, comrades, and then where should we be? Suppose you had decided to follow Snowflake, with his moonshine of windmills– Snowflake, who, as we now know, was no better than a criminal?”

    With acknowledgements to George Orwell.

  6. Oh dear, that’s inconvenient, Arctic ice too thick to break through – and it’s the middle of summer!

I’m sure if I was to visit Stuff or the Horrid, once I’d waded past the “Oh Jacinda” puff pieces, I’d find these paragons of lying fucktardery journalistic integrity will be reporting on the Institute of Marine Research mission that had to turn back from their mission to the North Pole after the icebreaker they were on was just not able to break through the one year and multi-year ice they encountered. (Hang on a fucking minute, if the Arctic is supposed to be ice-free – how can there be multi-year ice there?)

I’m not sure how this is possible, we’re told that the Arctic is so warm that the ice is melting all the time and that it’s soon going to be ice free all year around. But how can that be if in the middle of a climate emergency with record high temperatures recorded of all time in all major European cities (well record so long as you don’t actually refer to the actual historical temperature records)?

Can it be that there is no global warming, that the Arctic has not a snowball’s chance in hell of being ice-free because we’re at the start of a mini-ice age?

We’re being lied to, all the time.

  8. ScoMo will have that benign smile on his face as one does when listening to a child.

She is also going to talk to him about Kiwis receiving more benefits while living in Australia. Being the leader of a completely separate country, ScoMo has the perfect excuse to dismiss her whining.

  9. It’s Friday. No ardern the liar for me today. All politics are off the table and I’m going outside and doing “man work” … except I’ll need my wife to help me 😉

It’s time to acknowledge that we are not being served well by out government and we need a strategy to “rid the country of that damned woman” and the drunken dwarf.

That’s a job for Monday. Enjoy your weekend people and stay safe on the roads.

  10. Agree DigNap. but if you read some of the rabid comments on The Standard and Daily Blog they are so far left of even JA it would take waterboarding to change their simple minds…I never comment as I don’t want to be seen as a “troll” lol. It’s obvious a white conservative guy like me is worse than Satan to them!

  11. Police huting man who smashed a glass in a womans face

“Police are hunting a man who hit a woman in the face with a glass at a West Auckland bar, leaving her with broken bones. The shocking incident took place at Te Atatū Tavern on April 26. Three men began making inappropriate comments towards the woman while they were in an outside area of the bar. She turned away to finish a cigarette, and was hit in the face with a glass.”

    Who behaves like that!?

Also Labour email wants me to support climate change. Sounds like they have jumped on that band wagon boots and all.

    • Reads like a retired couple with their relatives over for lunch to me.

…..”Belinda Blanchfield said her parents, aunt, uncle and one of their friends were inside the home when the explosion happened”…..

Not a kebab, a mob jacket or a DPB benefit in sight.

    • I am a bit confused about the gas explosion. Mains supplied gas has a smell, and to reach concentrations to cause such a large blast, the smell must have been quite strong. The gas must also have been leaking for quite long time.. Would some experts on this enlighten us? My only experience with a gas explosion was a hydrogen balloon that drifted over a BBQ. Other than that I have dealt with gas leaks at a school, and leaving the doors and windows open for about half an hour dissipated all the gas quite quickly.

  13. I have just read this elsewhere:

On this day, 101 years ago, Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna was thrown down a mine shaft by the Bolsheviks. She initially survived the 66ft fall and was said to be singing an Orthodox hymn until a grenade was thrown down.

  14. Electric Vehicles in Germany Emit More Carbon Dioxide Than Diesel Vehicles
    By IER

    June 10, 2019

.A study by the IFO think tank in Munich found that electric vehicles in Germany emit 11 percent to 28 percent more carbon dioxide than their diesel counterparts. The study considered the production of batteries as well as the German electricity mix in making this determination. Germany spent thousands of euros on electric car subsidies per vehicle to put a million electric vehicles on the road, but those subsidies have done nothing to reach the country’s greenhouse gas emission targets. This is just the latest example of government programs expecting one outcome and getting quite another, instead.

  15. Ardern came on the radio at 5pm and said she was very proud of our diversidy.
    I’m not
    It will cause us problems.
Most fraud and tax evasion and labor abuse is caused by diverse people.
We were never asked if we wanted to let in thousands of third world (insert your own term)

  16. It’s a primary school sex education class & a little girl asks ,”Teacher, can my Mum get pregnant?” The teacher asks “How old is your mother?” The little girl says “Forty”. The teacher says “Yes, Your mother could get pregnant”.

The little girl asks “Can my big sister get pregnant?” The teacher asks “How old is your sister?” The little girl answers “Nineteen”. The teacher says “Oh my yes, your sister certainly could get pregnant”.

The little girl asks “Can I get pregnant?” The teacher asks “How old are you?” The little girl says “I’m seven years old”. The teacher says “No, you can’t get pregnant”.

The little boy behind the little girl gives her a poke and says “See, I told you we had nothing to worry about”.

GWRC chairman Chris Laidlaw rules himself out of local body election race
    Damian George13:47, Jul 19 2019
Greater Wellington Regional Council chairman Chris Laidlaw will not stand for re-election later this year.

Laidlaw, 75, has been on the council since 2007, replacing Fran Wilde as chair following the last local body elections in 2015.

Laidlaw told RNZ he had not been able to spend enough time on water and environmental issues he was interested in, but the recent bus problems had also been a factor in his decision to step aside.
