  1. This (Found on another site) might be of interest: and will no doubt resonate with some:

‘The donkey told the tiger, “The grass is blue.”

The tiger replied, “No, the grass is green .”

The discussion became heated, and the two decided to submit the issue to arbitration, so they approached the lion.

As they approached the lion on his throne, the donkey started screaming: ′′Your Highness, isn’t it true that the grass is blue?”

The lion replied: “If you believe it is true, the grass is blue.”

The donkey rushed forward and continued: ′′The tiger disagrees with me, contradicts me and annoys me. Please punish him.”

The king then declared: ′′The tiger will be punished with 3 days of silence.”

The donkey jumped with joy and went on his way, content and repeating ′′The grass is blue, the grass is blue…”

The tiger asked the lion, “Your Majesty, why have you punished me, after all, the grass is green?”

The lion replied, ′′You’ve known and seen the grass is green.”

The tiger asked, ′′So why do you punish me?”

The lion replied, “That has nothing to do with the question of whether the grass is blue or green. The punishment is because it is degrading for a brave, intelligent creature like you to waste time arguing with an ass, and on top of that, you came and bothered me with that question just to validate something you already knew was true!”

The biggest waste of time is arguing with the fool and fanatic who doesn’t care about truth or reality, but only the victory of his beliefs and illusions. Never waste time on discussions that make no sense. There are people who, for all the evidence presented to them, do not have the ability to understand. Others who are blinded by ego, hatred and resentment, and the only thing that they want is to be right even if they aren’t.

When IGNORANCE SCREAMS, intelligence moves on’. (1)

  2. So the National Party MP, Harete Hipango who attended and was there to support the community and (I assume) some of Nationals voters at a Voices For Freedom Rally in Wanganui yesterday. This has upset Christopher Luxon, who has decided to censor this lady and insist she remove her Facebook posting on her attendance at the rally as according to Luxon, “the views of the group do not align with those of the National Party”.

Well I have news for Mr Luxon as a now failed National Party supporter. If this is an example of your attitude (and “views”), as long as your arse points to the ground and you are the Leader of the National Party, you and the National Party will not be getting my support.

It surely is getting harder to find a party that aligns with my principles and “views” for next years election, to support.

    • Yes Hooligan, very disappointing that Luxon stomped on free speech but yet another example of how there is no difference between any party now. God knows where my vote goes next year. There is not an intelligent one amoungst the lot of them.

      • I have always thought protest voting was a waste of the privilege of democracy. Turns out I have been wrong all this time.
I am now waiting for the inevitable to happen.
Brian Tamaki will step up and offer a vision of the promised land – freedom in New Zealand.
He won’t get my eternal support but he will probably get my protest vote this time around.
Frankly it’s the only non-violent way I have left of getting the attention of three tone deaf major parties.

      • B Venton, “There is not an intelligent one amongst the lot of them” , I have been downticked in the past for stating that exact fact ,YSBrs shouldn’t think for a second that Luxon will change anything in that septic shitehole in Wellington as he’s no different from the other 119 useless C – -Ts that infest that place.
Look at the weasel Seymour that I personally voted for in the last election, he hadn’t been in there with his extra MPs for more than a month when his balls shrunk up into his guts and he started talking like a F- -King Greenie, the POS.

      • I have said before if you want to vote for someone that expounds all of your beliefs you need to start your own party. Last year I voted for New Conservatives because both National and ACT failed to capture me while I at least agreed with some of N.C values. I knew it was a so called “wasted” vote but if one goes on supporting the insipid, that it was you will get.

  3. BV, I am stuffed if I have any direction at this stage as where I am going to put my vote, come next year. To me, Luxon is a fool and has shown no leadership or direction which will benefit this country in the long term. Nor is he showing any signs that this will change anytime soon.

John Wayne, known to the US Department of Births Deaths & Marriages as Marion Morrison, once said,

“Life is hard. It’s harder when you are stupid.”

And, that to me, is what Luxon is displaying, stupidity.

  4. For the first time in my life as a voter I shall not vote. It is terribly disappointing to me to think there is no difference with any party they are all troughers who suck from the tax payers tit till its dry and not one of them will be any different from the rest. Good on her for standing with the people who oppose this madness. Luxon is a total tosser.I really fear for this country. Well the world actually.
I just had an txt from my daughter in the UK with a clip of where Savid Javid from the UK Minister of Hell, was discussing the vaccine with a team at a hospital. One Doctor said to him he had not taken the jabs and he had a colleague who was the same and would have to leave the hospital under their rules and that if the jabby has only a 2 month rate of protection they would have to jab the hospital staff every month which they were not going to do.( I think it was in the daily fail she got it from.) So its going to be roll up folks and get your monthly jab, will the majority of people see through this finally? Savid said that they get their advice from their team of experts FFS who would that be Tony Fauci???????

    • Lizzie, by not voting, you then tend to put yourself between a rock and a hard place. I have always been of the opinion, that if you do not vote, then you have given up the right to question or comment on matters political.

But now, I am not so sure my opinion holds water. Like you, I am wondering if in fact I will vote next year, but by not doing so I have given up my right to help move the country into a better place, or what I perceive may be a better place. But I see no politician or potential politician who can take this country, to that better place I am wanting for this country.

So I, like you may well withold my vote from anyone and just have to put up with the disappointment, New Zealand has become.

    • Take a look at New Conservative Lizzie, that is what I am going to do because I find myself in the same situation as you. Not saying I will definitely vote NC at this time, it is too earlyto say and I am hoping Seymour will get the boot from ACT before the election……if there is one.

    • I followed a discussion on BDF on this topic last night (boring Saturday night!). A point they raised is Luxon, by presenting something that is really no different to Ardern leaves a hole or vacuum in NZ politics. Politics does not like a vacuum so someone will fill it and as was said last night, Peters will move into that vacuum as sure as night follows day.
Unfortunately I think they are right.
PS A poster referred to Luxon’s move yesterday as his MAGA hat moment and he failed miserably.

      • Exactly right. National, Act and Labour are clearly a great big hole in the political landscape for someone (Tamaki, Peters?) to come and drive a great bus bus through.
        Dumb fucks to our left
        Dumb ducks to our right
The 2023 election won’t be on the economy, or education, policing or health.
People want their democratic freedoms restored and there’ll be a high cost if that doesn’t happen.

  5. Another one… seems like ppl are as addicted to drowning as karen is covid jabs.
i tried to google but quickly got confused but is this trend worldwide or is it just nz thats having lots get killed in the water?

    • WHO have some stats IAASB. Darwin moments don’t seem to be confined to our once great land.

Drowning is the 3rd leading cause of unintentional injury death worldwide, accounting for 7% of all injury-related deaths.
There are an estimated 236 000 annual drowning deaths worldwide.
Global estimates may significantly underestimate the actual public health problem related to drowning.
Children, males and individuals with increased access to water are most at risk of drowning.

      • Viking…
I voted for the McGillicudy Serious Party once.
A mate chastened me for wasting a vote and wanted to know my reason for doing so.
In that election, there were two candidates that we were both closely connected to. One was standing for Winston’s lot and his public nemesis, out of spite threw his name into the hat to challenge him as an Independent.

Both candidates were pig headed egotists who hated each other and the electioneering got very nasty and vocal between them.
I explained to my mate that on the Monday following the election, the polling booth results would be published, and that I was hoping that these two losers (both Maori) would see that in my predominantly Maori district, the McGillicudy’s would receive 100% more votes than the two of them combined.
Sure enough the published results for my polling booth were…
        McGillicudy Serious Party….1

My mate (Maori) agreed with my motive and mentioned that if I had told him earlier he would have done the same at his booth.

  6. Some news from Germany and Austria:

“Where’s the vaccine mandate they promised us?” whines Daniel Brössler, reporter for the Süddeutsche Zeitung, disappointed because yesterday’s Corona summit of German minister presidents returned nothing but some adjustments to quarantine and sharpened testing rules. The double vaccinated will now have to submit negative tests if they want to eat at restaurants. Markus Söder, lockdown- and vaccine mandate-loving minister president of Bavaria, criticised even these milquetoast restrictions, with some bluster about how he’d already taken a hard line against bars and discos. This is after leading German Corona astrologer, Christian Drosten, used his state media podcast to suggest that Germany should start tolerating some of degree of SARS-2 transmission, and that breakthrough infections among the vaccinated should be considered normal. Such statements, which almost surely reflect sentiments within the coalition government, destroy most of the rationale for ongoing restrictions and vaccine mandates.

Meanwhile, in Austria, the thrice-vaccinated chancellor Karl Nehammer has tested positive for Corona. The news comes as Austria announces they will delay implementing their vaccine mandate by two months. It will now take effect in April, if at all. Gerald Gartlehner, an epidemiologist and sometime governmental adviser, suggested that mandates (or at least their enforcement) might have to be re-evaluated in light of Omicron and the widespread immunity the new variant will elicit across the Austrian population. There is every reason to think that Austria will be past the peak of the Omicron wave in April, and that a majority of Austrians with have SARS-2 antibodies by then.

In the United States, former Biden advisers have published a series of editorials in the Journal of the American Medical Association, arguing that it is time to normalise containment and begin managing SARS-2 as one of various seasonal respiratory infections.

  7. When it comes to the treatment of COVID-19, many Western nations have been hobbled by the politicization of medicine. Throughout 2020, media and many public health experts warned against the use of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), despite the fact that many practicing doctors were praising its ability to save patients. Most have been silenced through online censorship. Some even lost their jobs for the “sin” of publicly sharing their successes with the drug.

Another decades-old antiparasitic drug that may be even more useful than HCQ is ivermectin. Like HCQ, ivermectin is on the World Health Organization’s list of essential drugs, but its benefits are also being ignored by public health officials and buried by mainstream media.

Ivermectin is a heartworm medication that has been shown to inhibit SARS-CoV-2 replication in vitro. In the U.S., the Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC) has been calling for widespread adoption of Ivermectin, both as a prophylactic and for the treatment of all phases of COVID-19.

  8. The Power of Courage
Face the pain and expand your range so you can do your meaningful work
    BY Leo Babauta
    TIMEDecember 27, 2021

Imagine a woman who has a powerful gift to give to the world, a song to sing that will lift others up. Now imagine she only lets herself give that gift when the sun is shining and she’s happy and the moon is in perfect alignment with Jupiter.

The world would be robbed of her song. Her narrow range of when she’s willing to offer her gift would be a devastating loss to those she could uplift.

Imagine a man who serves everyone around him deeply, so powerfully that they are all filled with their own sense of purpose. But he only does this when he’s in the right mood, when he’s not distracted by online articles, when he’s not tired or lonely, when he’s not criticized by those around him, and when his house and office are perfectly clean.

Those he fills with a sense of their own purpose would be less filled. Those he would give his love to would be deprived because he has such a narrow range of when he’s willing to push himself to offer his gift to others.

This is how most of us live our lives. Shrinking from the challenge of focusing on our purpose-filled work because we’re tired, sad, anxious, stressed, or because we allow ourselves to be distracted and pulled in thousands of directions.

This is our failing, and it’s our opportunity for growth.

When we’re “not feeling it,” and procrastinate or don’t focus on our purpose, it’s time to notice how we feel. If we can step outside our experience just enough to see ourselves at that moment, it can lead to a breakthrough. We can expand ourselves.

    You expand by:

Opening up your heart in the middle of pain or stress and allowing yourself to fully feel. Don’t shrink away, but find the courage to be incredibly present with whatever you’re feeling.
Feeling love for your experience, for whatever is causing you stress or pain, and not rejecting it. Seeing it as your teacher, your training ground.
Reminding yourself of the gift you need to offer the world. Reminding yourself of your purpose—bringing your open heart to that work.
Pushing yourself into the discomfort of focusing on that purpose, even if you’re feeling sad or hurt or frustrated or distracted. Pushing yourself into the discomfort of saying no to all the distractions and busywork, and just doing what you need to do to offer your gift.

This is your challenge, in every moment. Expand your range by not needing conditions to be perfect; not needing everything to be in order; not needing to have all your messages responded to, all your inboxes and social media checked, all your articles read, all your crumbs swept up before you dive into your purpose.

Expand your range by not allowing yourself to shrink. It’s like putting yourself in arctic conditions, in desert conditions, and practicing your art despite the unhappiness.

In fact, you can use the unhappiness and chaos to offer your gift. You take that stress and pain, and you turn it into love. That brilliance is a part of your gift.

Let’s look at some specific practices for expanding your range of conditions so that you’re no longer robbing the world of what you have to offer.
    Practices to Expand Yourself

Once a day (to start with), create a space for practicing. Set yourself some purpose-filled work to do. Then try these practices:

Notice what you’re feeling. Are you tired, stressed, frustrated, angry, sad, lonely, distracted, hurt, anxious? Then fully feel it. Forget about everything else in the world and just be fully present with whatever you’re feeling. Not the narrative in your head about what you’re feeling, but the actual physical feeling in your chest, stomach, head.
Open your heart to that feeling. Love it. Don’t reject it or wish it would go away or try to get rid of it. Just love it. And love what caused it—the work stressing you out, the person who criticized you, the unhappy situation in your life. Love it as if it were the most beautiful thing on Earth. Which it is.
Open your heart in the middle of this discomfort, and then take the first step in doing your work. Do the first small action, the tiniest movement, in the middle of these arctic conditions. See it as training for your heart. Courage training. Hold your heart open as you do it, keeping in mind who you’re serving.
Love even fiercer as you do the next small step. Don’t let your people down. Imagine that you would die for them, do anything to serve them, and that you hold them powerfully in your heart.

Repeat these practices every day. See your range grow. See your gift grow out into the world, unhindered by life’s impediments. Sing your song powerfully and courageously, lifting up every soul around you. Then bow in gratitude to your practice.

  10. From Gab

If you haven’t been jabbed yet, its clear, you don’t want it.They know that.
If you’ve made it this far, you are a miraculous human and can take comfort knowing this.
They are squeezing you because they hope you are weak. They hope if they squeeze you will cave.
When you don’t hand yourself over ,they freak out and squeeze hard.
Like in any abusive relationship, the longer you hold out the crazier they get.
The crazier they get the crazier they look.
The crazier they look the more people notice.
The more people notice the more people wake up.
The more people wake up ,the more fearful they become.
The more fearful they become, the crazier they get.
The crazier they get, the more people wake up…..
And on and on until they destroy themselves.
Be brave ,stay strong, and do not comply!
Its literally all you need to do.Make them the ones who need to fight to stay alive.

  11. Worth the time to read these. Biden & Co are as about as bad as they can get.

    Protesters. Insurrectionists. White supremacists?

The thousands of Americans who went to the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, and their intentions on that day, have been described in many ways.

Were they there to: Have their voices heard. Register concern over election accuracy. Overthrow the government?

  12. Great post here from El Gato Malo on the unfortunate nature of human beings to panic at just the wrong time an example is stock market crashes) and how it relates to people and governments mistaken reaction to the effects of viruses. Definitely worth a read on how humans get things wrong.

  13. That has to be one of Neils best yet.
    He sums it up brilliantly.
I was yelling the other night (much to the disgust of my boarder) in response to another leader spouting off.

“who the hell is giving the orders? Who is instructing these bloody people?”
Someone has to get to the bottom of it.(yes I realise swaubb etc ) but they need to be exposed.

    Actual facts…

  16. AOS Raid On Workplace Mandate Protestor In Christchurch
    Updated | 7 Jan at 11:39 pm
    The Daily Examiner

Alex* was at home on Wednesday 5 January around 1.30pm when he noticed black-clad & helmeted men creeping around his house, armed with rifles. Alarmed, he confronted them outside despite being clad only in shorts, then ducked back into the house to grab his mobile phone and emerged again recording video on his phone. He was slammed to the ground, handcuffed and taken away, his mobile phone confiscated along with his computer.

In questioning by the police, Alex was accused of possessing a prohibited firearm and attempting to sell a “semi-automatic gun”. Police also stated they were looking for a “Browning shotgun”, which Alex says he has never owned in his life. Questions such as “when does the rebellion start?” have led Alex to believe the raid was instigated by his employer, which had suspended his employment following a letter he sent in feedback against a covid vaccine mandate at his workplace.

Despite all the accusations, Alex is now being charged only with obstructing police and will appear in the Christchurch District Court on 11 January. Other than confirming that such an arrest had occurred, police have refused to comment on the basis for the raid or why Alex’s personal belongings have not been returned to him. Police have also refused to comment on whether any prohibited firearms or illegal firearms were recovered in the raid.

The Daily Examiner has been informed that Alex is a licenced firearms owner but has no firearms in his possession, having handed in his hunting rifle during the confiscation period for newly-prohibited firearms that ended in December 2019. He was an organiser of a protest against the imposition of the covid vaccination mandate at his workplace, which was due to take place the afternoon of his arrest and from which he was prevented from attending due to that arrest. Police also refused to comment on whether Alex’s involvement in the organisation of the protest had anything to do with the raid on his home.

This is the 2nd raid in a week against holders of firearms licences in the Christchurch Area who have also been outspoken against the NZ Government on various issues. The raid on Pastor Carl Bromley’s home on New Year’s Eve was in the Christchurch Metro policing area and The Daily Examiner notes that Pastor Bromley is also a holder of a NZ firearms licence.

  17. Potato brain move

It’s Coming: Biden’s Latest Irrational Moves Obliterate the US Economy About 2 Weeks Out

Adding to the supply chain and inflation crisis, in about a week the vaccine mandate and subsequent commercial passport means 30,000 cross border truckers are about to get shut down from operating between the United States and Canada.

“70% of the 700 billion in trade between Canada and the US is moved by truck. This will have a dramatic effect on supplies and services reaching their destination and getting in the hands of those who need them. One needs to look no further than the recent UK fuel shortage, where the military had to be brought in to deliver fuel as a result of a lack of truck drivers. We are already seeing shortages, if these shortages reach critical levels on items such as fuel, food, blood, medicine or medical supplies, we will see real long-lasting damage.”

In about a week the Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate will mean around 30,000 cross-border truckers will be forced to shut down. Starting January 15, truckers will be forced to show proof of vaccine.

    • WG go have a good look at the legislation for cindys traffic light framework, the way its setup it has the potential to create major supply/transport issues due to some of the retarded shit contained within.

Ive heard it from several and i also believe that traffic light system is designed to create food shortages, the fearmongering last week started on such shortages happening very soon.

      • Yes IAASB, quite right. Supermarket shelves are regularly low on stock and sometimes it’s weeks before a product is available.

I am interested in when the employment mandates take effect and how these will effect those involved but also have unintended consequences on the supply lines, crime, etc.

        (from govt website)
        Work requiring COVID-19 vaccination
The Government has mandated that work be done by vaccinated people in specific sectors or business types:

-Border and managed isolation and quarantine facilities
        -Health and disability sector
        -Education sector
        -Work in prisons
-Food and drink services (excluding businesses operating solely as takeaways)
-events, close proximity services*indoor exercise facilities like gyms
-Work at tertiary education premises (only at the Red level of the COVID-19 Protection Framework)
-New Zealand Police (sworn members, recruits and authorised officers)
-New Zealand Defence Force (Armed Forces and civilian staff).

        * Close proximity services are those that cannot be done without close proximity of less than 1 metre between people. Examples include hairdressers, nail salons and tattoo parlours.

    • If you look at this map you can see the distribution channels.
all the way up through the river system there is major shipping and many many bridges that trucks use. detroit for example has a bridge between Canada and the USA which is for trucks and they crawl over it 24/7. The is repeated ll the way up the seaway.

Its not one way traffic either. From the Great lakes there are lots of materials shipped down through Saul San Mariue in to the lower lakes. Iron ore, salt, coal, timber, cerals of all kinds. Busiest it has been in years, so much so that the first new laker has been built this year. The first one for 40 years.
Right now its freezing up there and they are on their last trip for several months. The link takes you to the locks between the lakes. The poo locks where the height difference is 21 feet and takes about 20 minutes to fill. some of the Lakers are 1000+ feet long and take upwards of 70 thousand tonne of coal or ore. Most is delivered down the waterway to various places.

There is a lady who lives in Canada sie of the locks who photographs and vodeo’s the shipping there.
You can have a look here https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=321931039940187&set=a.119612436838716

  18. “The third jab strengthens the immune system, so after the fourth dose you are protected, and when 80% of population has received the fifth dose we are close to a resolution because the sixth dose stops the virus from multiplying and prevents it from spreading, which means the seventh dose will solve our problems and we no longer have to to be afraid of the eighth dose because clinical studies with the ninth dose have shown that antibodies are more stable after the tenth dose and the eleventh dose ensures that there will be no new mutations, so there is no reason to criticize the idea of a twelfth dose.”

  19. Is this Destiny Church or the Freedom protests of anyone who wishes to join against NZ’ers diminishing rights, freedoms and government mandates against the unvaxxinated?

Row brewing in Christchurch over ‘unlawful’ protests and Destiny Church events in Cranmer Square

Nearby residents aren’t impressed the normally peaceful park has been taken over with no notice.

“The problem I have with what they’re doing is the fact that there’s no permits,” says Stephen, a nearby resident.

Locals say that as well as the religious services, the square has been filled with 600 to 700 noisy protestors and frequent unpermitted events almost every weekend for months.

  20. Just within the last couple days:

We had the ex-intelligence chief of Kazakhstan, Karim Massimov, arrested for treason – he has connections to the Biden crime family.

AND the ex-president of Ukraine, Poroshenko, had his assets frozen following treason accusations. He was also connected to the Biden crime family.
