  1. Ooohh, that is a really, really tough one. It’s a toss up between, aaahhh and ummm. I’ll come back to you in due course when I have figured out which one is the least evil, self centered bastard, amongst them.

    • Komata, it could be much further in the future. I see no hope, salvation or man of principle and probably not one who wishes to be a Politician is yet born who has any qualities of Principle.

So we can take from that there ain’t much to pick from!
Pollies can take from the poll that we don’t like you at all!
So don’t get a fat head and think you are the bee’s knees.
We may not know who you are or recognize you in the street!
Certainly going to make this elction interesting isn’t it!

  3. My favorite politician has to be Giorgia Meloni who has done more good for Italy in less than a year than probably any other world leader in their whole careers. From tackling the Mafia head on, to turning back illegal immigrants and cracking down on excessive welfare rorts, this woman really demonstrates what a patriotic conservative politician can achieve when she sets her mind to it. If only there was a Giorgia Meloni in this poor benighted country we wouldn’t be cascading headfirst into the Third World.

  4. Stephen Franks is my favourite politician. And that is why I have no respect for Wellington Central voters. Faced, several years ago with a choice between him and an over weight poofter they went for the fudge packer.
Stephen advised that if he could remove ambiguity from any Bill being discussed that would save each side to the court case $60,000 in legal fees as they argued in Court exactly what did the vague law mean. So if he could do that twice a year he would earn his pay, plus more.
I have never heard of any other politician earn his, or her, keep.

    • As a matter of fact the only political interview I have ever really admired involved Stephen Franks, Derek Fox and one other person I can’t remember. There were no interjections, the quality of debate was exceptional with extremely well argued points. This debate was on a Maori programme with Maori kupapa. Stephen fitted in well. The big surprise was Derek Fox who showed another side of himself from his usual bolshy prickly self.
