Now that Simon and Paula have been replaced, it seems the new National leadership will do anything to regain the Government benches in our parliament. Have they got short memories and no brains?

Who was it last election who toyed with National, whilst at the same time, preparing to sue them in court over his false claims for superannuation?

That’s right, it was the drunken dwarf.

Who was it who said he wanted to crush capitalism when he selected Cindy as his puppet to be PM?

That’s right, it was the drunken dwarf.

Who is it who continues his spurious claims in the courts, now alleging he knows who the leaker of his false claims for superannuation was?

That’s right, it was the drunken dwarf.

Who was it who said he would be one of the first to re-enter the Pike River mine ?

That’s right, it was the drunken dwarf.

Who was it who described as “filthy allegations without any proof?” the fact  that New Zealand First tried to hide donations from the New Zealand First
Foundation?

That’s right, it was the drunken dwarf.

Who was it who promised to hold a binding referendum in the middle of the first Government term on whether the Māori electoral seats should stay, and whether the number of seats in Parliament should be reduced to 100?”

That’s right, it was the drunken dwarf.

I can go on like this for ever, but you get the point. The drunken bastard just can’t be trusted.

It seems National will now do anything to get what they want and stuff their policies and principles. It would help if they could at least answer their emails from concerned voters. I guess they need to keep their communication lines open awaiting the call from NZ First.

Just in case they have missed their founding principles, here they are again.

  1. TODD MULLER,,,PPPPFFFFFTTTT.,, NICKY KAYE,,, PPPFFFFTT ,, IT SOUNDS LIKE EITHER WAY WE ARE GONNA HAVE THE MAGGOT PETERS BACK .
NZ politics is utter shit and the new National leadership is making sweet noises towards the POS in parliament that is more responsible for the state of our politics than any other living person. FUUUCKKKK…

    • Give Todd a chance! I heard his interview on Newstalk last Friday night and he didn’t even get close to saying he’d do a deal with the vile Peters! Do your homework before writing this man off.

  2. From reading the party’s ‘Founding Principles, it would seem that the current NZ National Party administration and leaders have forgotten what they are supposed to stand for, and that Muller, Kaye’s policies / attitudes would have no place in the original party.

No doubt Sid Holland would have made that very clear.

Perhaps, because its now indistinguishable from it’s nominal opponents the party needs to re-brand / rename itself to better-reflect it’s ‘Twenty-first Century (Socialist / Communist) Values’, ?

Perhaps the new name could be the New Zealand Firvour party?

    Just saying.

    • Labour started out as being a working class party. Now it’s a bunch of woke inner-city SJWs most concerned with your genitals (what colour the skin is, what type they are, where you want to put them, and if you want to chop them off or not). Time to throw both out and start again. And the Greens were once an environmental party.

  3. Agree with both previous posts. This is so demoralising I cannot believe it. I started voting for ACT long ago but then kinda changed back to National for a couple of years and looking back I am not totally sure why I did that. ( I am a member of ACT party) I cannot believe National have let their principles slide as far as they have. If these two do not use the guiding principles set out at the inception of the party to get them started and stop this fooling around with the most dishonourable man in politics ever in NZ (well there are a few others e.g. Spud Bolger etc)
Seriously there is a huge problem with New Zealand, and right wing separatist parties will start appearing, I’d say you sent seen nothing yet. People will very quickly tire of this socialist communist state when every working person is taxed to the hilt, every tax including petrol GST etc is as high as the roof, and they are living on the bread line. I do not see a great future for New Zealand.

National’s new leader Todd Muller says if he leads his party to victory this election, he would be the Minister of Small Business as well as the Prime Minister.
He said this would help reinforce the fact that a Government he led would be about helping those people on the ground floor of the economy.
“Those small businesses need an advocate in Wellington and I’ll be their man,” he told the Nation this morning.

      • National are too entrenched in their own tradition and hubris to learn any new tricks from the likes of President Trump no matter that Trumps clever team have blown tradition out of the window and achieved huge positive gains with voters.

  5. It is my understanding that if you add up all our taxes we are one of the highest taxed nations in the OECD. Wouldn’t mind that being explored more. With the coming period of Labour about to increase taxation, it would be good to know where we sit at the moment.

    • Todd & Nationals future depends on policies, preferably policies that appeal to their core support base, Small Business, Farmers, Landlords and now Firearms owners or ex owners, I will vote for my electorate MP who is a shoe in but party vote goes to ACT. The covid lockdown has seriously damaged my business and that of my customers some of whom will not survive so Todd you need to give us hope of a future free from the Legal/regulatory & bureaucratic interference or many will retrench into survival mode and the tax & support base wither.

    • If Labour and the Greens are in Government anybody who works for a living is going to be taxed into fucking oblivion. This is undeniable.
Anybody who studied basic Economics at High School level knows this isn’t the answer…

  6. Winston works on the premise that voters have short memories. Enough of them do to be influenced by his lies and re-elect the self-serving odious bauble collector.

  7. As posted late yesterday,my big fear is a Labour / National coalition.

One party government and individual working NewZealanders will be totally stuffed.

We would be sheep governed by wolves.

  8. Yeah National should alienate as many minor parties as possible. It worked so well last time. It’s not like they need the support, given their incredible poll results.

Even Labour agree that this is the way forward for National.

    • If National still think they can win alone or with Act I think they don’t get MMP.

Some may disagree but I think National should be working with NewCons because they are a better ‘fit’ for a coalition.
The NC’s are closer to the original National Party principles in policy and have largely purged the party of the religious nutters. The opportunity to identify with them now may boost the following of both National and the NC’s.

Stop hugging China and represent kiwis again.

      • I agree. They need all the help they can get. And they need to look at common ground, not just points of difference, with other parties.

  10. New Zealand First MP Tracey Martin says Labour shouldn’t rely on support in upcoming election

New Zealand First MP Tracey Martin has said Labour should not count on her party’s support in the upcoming election.

In an interview with Newshub Nation on Saturday Martin said the vote could go either way.

“We put forward our policies, we get the percentage of votes that we can and we sit down with both parties and we go through our commonalities. How much of us can we get down that pathway that NZ First voters voted for?” said Martin.

My god Winston has let her out of jail. How can a woman spek for NZ First?

    4

    • There are good components of NZ First. I am OK for example with Ron Mark and his performance with Defence in that at least he has some replacement gear ordered.

I am not OK with Mr Peters. While he can make a sound comment of Foreign Affairs matters, he has dropped in credibility for me on many things. He allowed the Arms Act amendments to proceed and did not stop the Oil and Gas decision for example. I did not appreciate him taking legal action against a party whilst supposedly negotiating the post election discussions in 2017.

The Party may thus have merit if the issue is being in government or not but standards of Ethics with emphasis on integrity through the full term would need to be a critical issue incorporated into any Coalition agreement.
