Ardern sidesteps Jones; Scomo scolds Him.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has brushed off radio shock jock Alan Jones’ remarks about her while Scott Morrison said the comments were “way out of line”.

Jones on Thursday criticised Ms Ardern after she said “Australia has to answer to the Pacific” on climate change during the Pacific Islands Forum in Tuvalu.

The Sydney radio host said Ms Ardern was a “joke” for preaching about climate change, claiming that New Zealand’s carbon dioxide had increased per capita more than Australia’s since 1990.

He said Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison should “shove a sock down her throat”.

Ms Ardern brushed off the remark when asked what she made of it.

“I don’t know that I’m going to give that the light of day, that comment. I think I’ll just leave it where it is,” she said.

Mr Morrison said Jones had gone too far.

“I find that very disappointing and of course that’s way out of line,” he told reporters in Tuvalu on Thursday at the Pacific Islands Forum.

“I mean, I have two daughters. So you can expect that’s how I would feel personally about it.”

Fijian Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama took to Twitter to return serve to Jones, saying it was easy for the broadcaster to make such remarks from the comfort of a radio studio.

“The people of the Pacific, forced to abandon their homes due to climate change, don’t have that luxury,” he tweeted.

“Try saying that to a Tuvaluan child pleading for help.”

Former Australian prime minister Malcolm Turnbull liked Mr Bainimarama’s tweet.

“Well said Frank,” Mr Turnbull tweeted. “Jones should also apologise to @jacindaardern for his latest misogynistic rant.”

New Zealand is emerging as a strong ally with Fiji, with Mr Bainimarama also tweeting about the benefits of having such a friend in tackling climate change.

Mr Jones says he meant to say “put a sock in it”.

“This wilful misinterpretation distracts from my point that she was wrong about climate change and wrong about Australia’s contribution to carbon dioxide levels,” he said in a statement.

Oh dear, Cindy has yet again shown how shallow and dumb she really is.

Australian tourist shot dead in campervan robbery in New Zealand

An Australian tourist has been shot dead in an attempted robbery in New Zealand.

The incident has occurred in Raglan.

Police say the Australian man and a Canadian woman were sleeping in their campervan and were woken by a stranger banging on their window.

It’s believed the man demanded the keys to their campervan before the Australian was shot multiple times.

His partner managed to escape, running several kilometres for help.

Local police say the body of a man was found in a stolen van on Gordonton Road, 80km from the original crime scene.

Another one of our ferals with nothing better to do?

Cindy and kelvin will give him hugs and will not be appearing in a aussie bush mans hat in a show of sympathy with the murdered Australian.

Norway detects radioactive iodine days after explosion in Russia

The Norwegian Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority on Thursday said “tiny amounts of radioactive iodine” had been detected at an air-filter station, one week after a mystery-shrouded explosion at a Russian military test range.

“Tiny amounts of radioactive iodine [have] been measured in air at our air filter station in Svanhovd in Northern Norway,” the statement read.” The level detected is very low and poses no harm to people nor the environment.”

The statement added that the sample was taken during the period of 9-12 August.

It comes after a missile test went awry at a test range in northern Russia, killing at least five nuclear specialists on August 8.

Rosgidromet, the Russian meteorological agency, reported that radiation levels in the vicinity spiked four to 16 times higher than normal background levels.

The Norwegian agency had previously said there was “no health impact” after the brief radiation spike in Russia’s Arkhangelsk region.

“The measurement result is comparable to earlier measurements,” Thursday’s statement said.

“Norwegian monitoring stations detect radioactive iodine about 6-8 times a year and the source is usually unknown. When no other radioactive substances than iodine is detected, the source is most likely releases from production facilities for radioactive pharmaceuticals containing iodine.”

The statement added: “At present it is not possible to determine if the last iodine detection is linked to the accident in Arkhangelsk last week.”

FTC Chairman Joe Simmons Says He’s Prepared to Break Up Far Left Big Tech Firms

In November 2018 The Guardian reported on  group of Google employees who published an open letter calling on their employer to cancel its plans to build a censored search engine for China.  This was the latest expression of worker unrest at a company that earlier in 2018 saw thousands stage walkouts over its handling of sexual misconduct cases.

The Google employees were very upset that Google’s Project Dragonfly would allow the Chinese government to blacklist certain search terms.  The employees said,  “Many of us accepted employment at Google with the company’s values in mind…  After a year of disappointments … we no longer believe this is the case.”

Just months later it is now obvious that Google, Facebook and Twitter are using their own blacklists of prominent conservatives and their supporters.

If you search Google for prominent conservative voices including: Mike Cernovich, Joe diGenova, Jack Posobiec or Gateway Pundit you will see hit pieces and biased attacks.  The Gateway Pundit is one of the largest, most accurate and most influential publishers in the country today.  In the last month if you search Google for “Gateway Pundit” the first item that it pulls up is a pdf of Jim Hoft’s speech to Congress.  The line item says: “Gateway Pundit – Congressman Steve King”. It is a pdf! We have written hundreds of stories that changed the media narrative in the US and this pdf is the first item the pops up?  Most likely it is because some Google jack*ss wanted to link us to Republican Rep. King who the left has smeared as a racist.

If you are on Facebook You may have noticed you no longer get to choose what you will see or read. Facebook makes that decision for you today. Facebook eliminated over one billion page views to conservative websites after the 2016 election. So if you no longer see articles from your favorite conservative publishers there’s a reason for that.

And thanks to Allum Bokhari at Breitbart News we also know that Facebook has compiled a “hate agents list” of prominent pages to eliminate traffic to the pages. The list includes Candace Owens and Brigitte Gabriel, two popular and prominent conservatives. There is no telling how many more conservatives are on the list but surely it is in the hundreds.

Twitter also has its blacklists to shadow-ban or eliminates prominent conservative voices including President Trump.

In July 2018 we reported that a study by the leftist website Vice News found that Twitter is censoring top pro-Trump lawmakers. Twitter is targeting pro-Trump Republican lawmakers Matt Gaetz, Devin Nunes, Mark Meadows, Jim Jordan and John Ratcliffe with the same shadow banning technique.

Twitter is also censoring prominant pro-Trump accounts including: Mike Cernovich, Jack Posobiec, Paul Joseph Watson, TGP’s Jim Hoft, TGP’s Cassandra Fairbanks and Laura Loomer among others.

The tech giants are already implementing their Chinese tested blacklists to eliminate conservative voices online.  It’s a good thing for them that there is no Republican who really gives a damn about this enough to take any action.  Soon it will be too late to reverse this trend.

The Trump administration has repeatedly promised to take action against these far left villains.

On Tuesday the FTC Chairman Joe Simons said that breaking up these powerful far left tech companies may be the right remedy to rein them in and restore competition.
This is long overdue.

Bloomberg.com reported:

U.S. Federal Trade Commission is prepared to break up major technology platforms if necessary by undoing their past mergers, Chairman Joe Simons said on Tuesday in an interview to Bloomberg, as the agency anti-competitive practices in the sector.

Simons said in the interview that breaking up a company is challenging, but could be the right remedy to rein in dominant companies and restore competition.

He is leading a broad review of the technology sector to see whether companies including Facebook Inc are harming competition.

More Greenie Bullshit

Greenies try to terrify us by never putting their claims of impending disaster into context.

For example, when Greenies howl about human activity releasing around 750 giga-tones of CO2 into the atmosphere each year it sounds pretty impressively frightening. “750 giga-tons!!!” Crikey, that’s a lot, isn’t it? And it certainly sends the tens of thousands of snowflakes, pouring out of our polys pretending to be universities with their degrees in Gender Studies and Golf Course Management, into a bit of a tizzy. And so we have the Eco-loons with their idiotic Extinction Rebellion protests and the School Strike all the other crapulous protests.

What the Greenies are doing is using and abusing an ‘absolute number’ to scare snowflakes and other scientifically-challenged members of our society. But when you put the 750 giga-tons into context, using a ‘relative number’ – that CO2 as a percentage of the atmosphere is increasing by 0.0002% a year, that really doesn’t sound quite so frightening. And so the Greenies never mention this rather inconvenient truth.

That brings me to a picture a reader sent me. Right down in your lower right-hand corner you’ll see the total amount of CO2 that human activity has contributed to the atmosphere in the last 200 years:

Ooops! Not that impressive, huh? And the Greenies would have us believe that this miniscule amount of a trace gas will lead to the extinction of mankind. And, of course, the Greenies have managed to market CO2 as some kind of deadly poison when, in fact, it is so beneficial to plant growth that many farmers cultivating using greenhouses install CO2 generators in their greenhouses to improve growth and crop yields:

Oh, did the Greenies forget to mention that too? How remiss of them.
