Well in that case………….The Government should pay for it ………Or put in Three Waters………….Or do something.
We love our cycleways…….On K/B some guy did/does an almost daily parked cycle count on some very overly expensive cycle stand that has been built at great cost somewhere in the city. It is a fairly exceptional day when any figure over Nil or One is mentioned.
The gov should pay for it? Where do you think those cnuts get the money to pay for it?
No the greens and Labor have voted to put a levy on all their members to pay for it!
I see Andrew Little has had meeting with Luxon and Watts on the issue. What the hell do central Government have do with it. We vote in and pay Councilors to solve these sort of problems. But typical leftie/Labour response to a problem –get someone else to solve it.
While Micheal Laws was mayor of Wanganui they had number of expensive issues with their new waste water treatment plant. As far I know they just got with fixing the problems without running to Government for help –it took a while ( a couple of years) but they did it.
Little is the typical Labor stooge, he wants someone else to pay for it!
They deserve it. Pity the beehive is not directly affected
No, the same shit comes in and goes out each day.
As much as I despise Littel it would be unfair to blame him for the problem rather next election time opposition and aspiring councillors should specifically identify the councillors who voted for cycleways over wastewater and remind ratepayers that they are now getting and paying for what they voted for so should consider more carefully who they vote for in future. I have no sympathy for Wellingtonians as they have got what they voted for and enjoying the costs and results – its called democracy//
You are correct, it is not Little’s fault but how he deals with it will be the test.
