Rather we should think back to the affront NZ endured by having the Rainbow Warrior sunk in our own waters & the indignity of having to release those responsible or have our country bankrupted by trade embargoes. This on top of the losses suffered by NZ forces in WW1 & WW2 while fighting the Germans on their behalf. Their soil wasn’t worthy of our young men’s blood.
