Germany warns refugees who take Syria vacations

German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer announced a tough response to Syrian refugees who leave Germany for holidays in their home country.

“If somebody, a Syrian refugee, regularly takes holidays in Syria, he cannot honestly claim to be persecuted in Syria,” Seehofer told Bild am Sonntag weekly.

“We would have to strip him of his refugee status,” he added.

Looks like these “refugees” wanted to go home to see their rellies. Make a mockery of their fear of living in their home country.

As we all know, most of these cowards deserted their home countries for the free stuff on offer in Europe. Its about time they all went home to help in the rebuild, and stop bludging off the goodness of their host.

  1. Our refugees don’t even have to return to their country of origin to visit the rellies. Under Family Reunification, we let all the rellies in too.

  2. Our Refugees often return home for a holiday and to help their extended family get ready for the big move to New Zealand.
Hardly makes them ‘Refugees’ in my book…

  3. A good call by the German Minister for the Interior. I would expect a similar standard here regardless of any views from the UN.
