Big Pharma Holds EMERGENCY Meeting Over Imminent Trump-Kennedy Health Reform

They know what’s coming

Big Pharma is officially FREAKING OUT over the Trump-Kennedy plan to purge big interests from the federal health agencies.

One of Kennedy’s trusted advisors, Jamel Holley, shared breaking news on X, stating:

“Sources tell me top five CEOs of pharmaceutical companies are holding an emergency teleconference at 1 PM. A lawyer has confirmed that everyone is in a state of panic!”

The panic is fueled by widespread speculation that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will be tasked with leading a bold reform of federal health agencies like the FDA and CDC.

Kennedy has said repeatedly that America needs to prioritize the health of the American people, not the profits of pharmaceutical companies.

Let’s hope he can make that vision a reality.

The guy (Sackler) who made the original money, that allowed the purchase and growth of Purdue Pharma ( manufacturer and marketer of Oxycodone ) made it from advertising pharmaceutical drugs. Like a lot of these things it started with good intentions. He worked for an advertising company part time to pay his way through med school and he found that he was quite good at it. He kept up with advertising after med school (after hours) while working as a doctor. His big break came when he was asked to promote valium and the commission deal he made, in turn made him a small fortune.
It was his great grandsons and nephews who stuffed the company and family up by getting super greedy etc.

The book about it –“The Empire of Pain” is a good read and shows up the evil pharma industry and the corruption of the FDA.

And the flow on effects of that OxyContin, marketed as non-addictive, then how it spread, not in the cities, but in many of the provincial “fly-over” states, as reported by Beth Macy who collated her articles into a book “Dope Sick” showing in how 20 years this led to an “opioid addiction” and spread widely..
https://www.amazon.com.au/Dopesick-Dealers-Doctors-Company-Addicted/dp/0316551244

This book became the basis for a mini series in 2021

drama series, saying, “It aims to explore the scandal from the Sacklers down, opening with the development of the drug in the 1980s, to show how greedy bosses and avaricious sales reps were able to hijack the good intentions of doctors all over the country,”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dopesick_(miniseries)

Then premiered 2023 another miniseries “Painkiller” as mentioned by Ross12 above.

…. Based on Patrick Radden Keefe’s New Yorker article “The Family That Built an Empire of Pain” and Pain Killer: An Empire of Deceit and the Origin of America’s Opioid Epidemic by Barry Meier ….
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Painkiller_(TV_series)

So that all angles are covered, this 2 part series. “Crime of the Century” as it seems to have grown on:–

….. Part two of the documentary follows the mass marketing of Fentanyl.
While the opioid crisis was killing over 40 people per day, Insys Therapeutics began to bribe doctors to overprescribe the drug, and a complex scheme to defraud insurance companies with fraudulent marketing tactics, and lawmakers who turned a blind eye to the crisis. ….
.
…… an oligopoly of drug distributors: the three main companies are McKesson Corporation, Cardinal Health, and AmerisourceBergen. …..

So since 1 horse bolted, and then a few more, so then other Big Pharma companies have been able to game & exploit those pathways on other medicines & vaccines.

So many from many different angles, are chasing for a “fair chew on the sav”.

…. June 28, 2024 ….. the effort by Purdue and the Sacklers to limit their liability will go back to the bankruptcy court, where the deal will probably be renegotiated.
In the long term, it means that powerful people cannot use their company’s bankruptcy to escape accountability. …..

This will be another reason why the Big Pharma companies are more than feeling a breeze.

Fentanyl good. Marijuana bad.

Amazing how even the most brain damaged, conservative, social control freaks couldn’t make the connection & understand how their prejudices were being played.

Don’t usually wish this on anyone, but seeing Pfiser going under would make my day.
